        Prickly Pear Cactus

        Could a cactus really survive in this winter wonderland we call Canada? There is one that actually does - the Eastern Prickly Pear Cactus!! Sadly, this plant is a species at risk - which is bad news for our hungry pollinators! Christina from Point Pelee National Park is giving us the lowdown on how Parks Canada is trying to help this very important pollen provider. Spoiler Alert - it involves fire!
