When Bamboo Love completes a melody on her Violin, she is very proud of herself. Full of pride, Bamboo Love packs away the Violin and suddenly hears a similar melody off in the distance. Curious, Bamboo Love listens and follows the soothing sound to find another panda playing a unique instrument from China called the Erhu. Learning to play the Erhu, Bamboo Love learns that beautiful music can be played on instruments with two, four or more strings.

Gabby helps take care of the animals on her farm by feeding them every day. Gabby counts six different foods for her horse, six hungry chickens and six cows eating hay.

With Maggie's help, Madhu learns about the customs of different cultures, how to dress and what kind of gifts to bring. But for all the preparation and effort, everything goes wrong and Madhu runs away feeling dejected. Ella finds Madhu and explains that Human Day is a celebration of everyone's uniqueness, and Madhu is the most unique of all! Then, Ella feels terrible when she accidentally ruins some of her mother's old photographs. She convinces her family to recreate the scenes in the old pictures into new ones! But things don't go quite as planned; a lot has changed in space over the years, and perfectly recreating the scenes proves to be impossible. While Ella is disappointed, her parents make her feel better by explaining that while the old photos may be gone, they still have their memories. Creating new memories together is a lot more fun!

When Sly's jacket with his name on it gets swiped, the word SLY goes with it, leaving everybody less clever and more foolish. The Word Detectives bumble their way through interviews with the suspects, Firefighter Ember and Scientist Cosmo. Eventually revealing that the motive for taking Sly's jacket was, in fact, to make him a little less sly.

Riley finds an old song that her Mom wrote long ago and Megablast decides to sample it in their latest song. Meanwhile, Dr. Dandelion has created a giant Jack and the Beanstalk-esque plant penthouse over Greenville. When the beanstalk's vines start swiping things to furnish the new pad, Megablast must transform into Rocket, Thunder and Metallix to stop the pilfering plant before the weight of all the stuff it's swiped makes it collapse on the town. Then, Riley and Theo both have chores to do today, meaning they won't be able to get together with Alex to jam. Alex is super disappointed, so when he discovers that Kaboom has invented robots to do people's work for them he eagerly gets each of his buddies one to do their chores. Even though their instincts tell them it's a bad idea to get mixed up with one of Kaboom's inventions Riley and Theo can't resist when they see that the robots actually seem pretty good. They go off to jam, leaving their chores in the hands of the robots which results in trouble all over town. Megablast has to postpone their jam sesh, transform into Rocket, Thunder and Metallix and save the day!

Bamboo Love discovers the power of musical patterns while playing with marbles and Dominos. Attracted to the sounds, Bamboo Love's friends come over to play and bring along their cultural instruments, the Shekere and the Rakatak. Inspired by the musical sounds, Bamboo Love tries her paw with each instrument and expands her instrument knowledge.

Phenix is an 8-year-old Mi'kmaq boy from Gesgapegiag, Quebec. He helps out at his grandparents' sugar shack making maple syrup from sap and he shows us how it's done. It can take up to 45 buckets of maple sap to make just one bucket of syrup, so it's hard work! He also shows us all the delicious candies and treats that are made from the syrup. In the summer, Phenix barrel races with his horse, Paris. In barrel racing, you ride as quickly as you can around standing barrels, and the horse and rider with the fastest time wins.
