In animation, pictures of several different kids appear hanging on laundry lines. A raven on the lines flies off to the sun and opens his wings as the title of the show appears. It reads "Raven's Quest."
Waskwaabiish says AANIIN SKAN-OH. HELLO.
I'M WASKWAABISH AND
I AM 10 YEARS OLD.
I AM MOHAWK AND ANISHINAABE AND
I LIVE IN WATERFORD, ONTARIO.
I LIKE WATERFORD BECAUSE THERE'S
A LOT OF NATURE AND BECAUSE OF
THE PONDS DOWN BY THE BRIDGE.
MY NAME MEANS SHINING
WATER OR SPARKLING WATER.
I GOT IT FROM MY GRANDFATHER.
A picture of Waskwaabiish with his grandfather appears.
Waskwaabiish says THIS IS MY FAMILY.
MY DAD, MY MOM AND MY BROTHER
MIIHKAANS AND MY SISTER ZIBI.
Dad is in his thirties, with long brown hair in a braid and a goatee.
Mom is in her twenties, with long straight brown hair and wears glasses.
Miihkaans is around 9, with slightly long brown hair.
Zibi is around 4 with curly brown hair.
Waskwaabiish says AND

TRADITIONS ARE A BIG
PART OF OUR FAMILY.
MY DAD PAINTS AND DOES BEADING
AND MY MOM DOES REGALIAS AND WE
DO OUR PART TOO.
OUR MOM TEACHES HOW TO
MAKE MOCCASINS AND WORKSHOPS.
AND WE HELP HER PREPARE
BY CUTTING THE PIECES.
MIIHKAANS BE CAREFUL.
THIS IS DEER HIDE.
MY MOM STARTS BY
DRAWING OUT THE PATTERNS.
MIIHKAANS DOES THE CUTTING AND I
DO THE HOLE PUNCHING TO GET IT
READY FOR LACES.

AND SHE HELPS THEM
PUT THEM ALL TOGETHER.
YOU CAN SEE THE BEADING, THE
LACES AND THE PATTERNS THAT WE
CUT OUT AND HOLE PUNCHED.
Now in the kitchen, Waskwaabiish says WE ARE REALLY INTO SCIENCE.
WANNA KNOW A COOL WAY
TO INFLATE A BALLOON?
FIRST YOU NEED TO PUT THE
BALLOON ONTO THE FUNNEL AND THEN
WE NEED TO FILL THE
BALLOON UP WITH BAKING SODA.
PUT THE VINEGAR INTO THE BOTTLE
AND THEN TAKE OFF THE BALLOON
FROM FUNNEL.
WHOOPS.
A LITTLE BIT IF A SPILL.
Miihkaans laughs at him spilling the content of the funnel.
Waskwaabiish says JUST A LITTLE MESS.
WE'RE GONNA QUICKLY PUT THE
BALLOON OVER THE BOTTLE LID.
PUT THE BAKING SODA AND THE
VINEGAR SO IT MAKES A CHEMICAL
REACTION.
ALL THE GAS FROM IN THERE
IS GOING INTO THE BALLOON TO
INFLATE IT.
NOW WE CAREFULLY
TAKE OFF THE BALLOON.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
He now sits on a bike with a friend.

THE OTHER AWARDS I HAVE.
I'M MOST PROUD OF THIS ONE
BECAUSE I GOT IT IN GRADE 3 FOR
