I LIKE, LIKE DARK PURPLES AND
LIGHT PURPLES AND LITERALLY
ANY KIND OF PURPLE.
PURPLE IS A SPECIAL COLOUR
FOR MY PEOPLE. IT'S ALSO THE

Keena tears cabbage leaves as her mother chops squash.
Keena says, I'M MAKING CORN
SOUP AND I'M CUTTING UP
CABBAGE AND MY MOM'S HELPING
ME, AND SHE'S CUTTING UP SQUASH.
IN MY CULTURE WE HAVE THE
THREE SISTERS CORN, BEAN AND
SQUASH. AND THAT'S WHAT I'M
PUTTING INTO THE SOUP.
Animated corn on a cob, a bean, and a squash sway.
[Slide whistles]
Keena says, I LIKE COMING TO THE

THAT'S WHAT BUNNIES EAT.
THIS IS SUMAC. YOU CAN MAKE
JUICE WITH IT.
IF YOU'RE IN THE FOREST WITH
YOUR FRIENDS DON'T EAT RANDOM
FRUITS OR ANY PLANTS BECAUSE IT
MIGHT BE DANGEROUS.
Keena stands on a sidewalk by a lawn.

FOUR YEARS OLD.
I'M KINDA NERVOUS BUT PRETTY
EXCITED TO BE HERE BUT I'M HAPPY.
A man leans through a doorway.

FOR YOU ON SET.
Keena says, OKAY.
The director says, ACTION.

[Frog croaks, splashing]
A mother duck swims with four ducklings.
Lynnen says, IT'S SO CUTE,
LOOK AT THAT ONE.
[Quacking]
Keena and Lynnen play badminton.
Keena says, I THINK BADMINTON
IS REALLY FUN. SOMETIMES I MISS
THE BIRD.
[Laughing]
She says, IN THE END WE HAVE
FUN ANYWAYS.
Keena and Lynnen stand by a blender in a kitchen.
Keena says, AND NOW WE'RE
GONNA MAKE SOME SMOOTHIES.
Lynnen says, A SMOOTHIE WITH
MIXED BERRIES.
[Splashing, blender grinds]

IT'S KINDA LONG BUT IT'S MORE
LIKE A DANCE. BUT WE LOVE IT.
Keena and Lynnen knock the toe of their shoes against each other and high five. They bounce off each other.
[Giggling]
Keena says, EVERY TIME WE WOULD
