[Upbeat music plays]

An animation shows traffic travelling through a city. People are gathered outside houses and a pizza parlour. A pink school bus scatters stars as it passes by a grassy hill.

Text reads, “TVO kids and ABC presents”.

Children and their pets run to the hill and climb onto the title which they read, BIG WORDS, SMALL STORIES.

Poppy reads the episode title, Poppy’s pizza.

[Poppy gasps]

Poppy says, THE FALL HARVEST!

Chaz, Poppy’s pet dog, says, AND THAT MEANS IT'S TIME FOR...

[Together] THE COLOSSUS BIG IS BEST VEGGIE FEST!

A bearded man pushes a giant pumpkin off the back of a green pick-up truck.

[Straining]

A woman with blonde hair catches the pumpkin.

Poppy asks, WHAT WILL WE COOK FOR
THIS YEAR'S FESTIVAL?
-PASTA? PLEASE SAY PASTA!

Chaz asks, OR SOUP?

Poppy says, C'MON, PASTA!

The blonde-haired woman says, UH-UH. IT'S PIZZA!
I HOPE THE COLOSSUS PIZZA
EXPERTS WILL BE ENTERING.

Poppy says, OF COURSE WE WILL!
NOT ONLY WILL OUR PIZZA BE THE
BEST, IT WILL BE THE BIGGEST!

Chaz asks, UM, HOW BIG?

Poppy says, OH, IT'S NOT GOING TO BE BIG.
IT'S NOT GOING TO BE HUGE.
IT'S GOING TO BE... TO BE...
GARGANTUAN!

Sprinkle Fairy appears and says, 'GARGANTUAN' MEANS REALLY,
REALLY, REALLY BIG!
YOU KNOW, LIKE THE PIZZA
POPPY'S GOING TO MAKE.

Sprinkle Fairy flies to Poppy and Chaz.

Chaz asks, IT'S JUST A BIG PIZZA, RIGHT?

[Chuckles]

Sprinkle Fairy replies, NO!
I BELIEVE POPPY IS GOING
TO MAKE IT BIGGER THAN BIG!
GOOD LUCK, DEARIES!
I'VE GOT A GARGANTUAN BEANSTALK
TO PRUNE AND JACK GETS SULKY IF I'M LATE.
TOO-OODLES!

The blonde-haired woman arrives.

Poppy says, LET'S GET TO WORK!

Poppy grabs vegetables off a stall.

Poppy says, BEETS, TURNIPS,
CAULIFLOWER, PEAS...
PUMPKIN AND JACKFRUIT.

[Struggling sounds]

Chaz says, OR MAYBE JUST TOMATO AND CHEESE?

The blonde-haired woman struggles to carry all of vegetables.

Poppy’s dad walks out of a building and asks, WHO ARE THOSE FOR?

Poppy replies, US! GARGANTUAN VEGGIES
FOR A GARGANTUAN PIZZA!

Sprinkle Fairy’s helpers, the sprinklers, small candy-like creatures, walk out from behind a large vegetable. A yellow sprinkler jumps into a planter box then jumps out. A blue and a pink sprinkler run away.

Poppy’s dad says, TA-DAH! WHAT DO YOU THINK?
THIS IS OUR BIGGEST PAN!

Poppy says, THAT'S BIG
BUT IT'S NOT GARGANTUAN!
THERE MUST BE A WAY
TO MAKE MY PIZZA BIGGER...

[Small gasp]

Poppy runs to a counter in her dad’s pizza parlour.

Poppy says, THAT'S IT!
TIN FOIL! COME ON, CHAZ!

Chaz says, THIS CAN'T BE GOOD.

Poppy unrolls four rolls of tinfoil on the lawn of the pizza parlour.

[Gasps]

Poppy says, YES!
THAT'S A LOT OF DOUGH, AUNT RIA.
BUT THINK GARGANTUAN!

The blue and pink sprinklers sit on a kitchen cart and knead a large mound of dough. They throw the dough into the air, and it covers their heads. Together they throw the dough again and it lands on the yellow sprinkler. As the yellow sprinkler moves towards them, they run away, looking frightened.

Outside on the lawn, and on top of the tinfoil, Poppy and Chaz knead a giant mound of pizza dough. Next, Poppy stirs sauce in a bathtub.

Poppy’s dad says, ARE YOU SURE YOU COULDN'T MAKE
AN AMAZING PIZZA THAT WAS A TEENY-WEENY BIT SMALLER?

Poppy replies, BIGGER IS BETTER!
AND GARGANTUAN IS BEST!

Poppy waves at Chaz from an upstairs window and gives him a thumbs up. Chaz stands on the lawn holding a red tube leading from upstairs. He gives a thumbs up. In the bathroom, Poppy presses a button on a generator. The sauce from the bathtub suddenly spurts out the end of the tube and all over the rolled-out pizza dough. Poppy’s aunt Ria throws vegetables into a mini wood chopper. The vegetables shoot out of the chopper and onto the pizza. A concrete mixing truck reverses to a fence and deploys a chute that reaches to the pizza. Grated cheese rolls down the chute and onto the pizza.

Poppy shouts, THAT LOOKS GREAT, DAD!

Poppy’s dad says, UH, POPPY...
..THERE'S ONE THING MISSING.
HOW DO WE COOK IT?

Poppy looks thoughtful.

Poppy replies, HMM... I KNOW SOMEONE
WHO CAN HELP.
THANKS, DAVEY!
YOU'RE A LIFESAVER!

Davey says, THANK YOU!
I'VE WANTED TO TEST
MY HILLS HOIST HEATASTIC 2000
FOR WEEKS.
I TWEAKED THE THERMODYNAMIC
POWER COILS
SO NOW I'VE DOUBLED
THE HEAT RANGE DIAMETER!

Three giant heat lamps are used to cook the pizza. The cheese bubbles as heat rises from the pizza. Poppy, her dad, Chaz, and aunt Ria watch the gargantuan pizza cook.

Chaz says, HUH?

[Gasp]

Poppy says, IT WORKED!

The yellow sprinkler runs into one end of the sauce tube. The pink and blue sprinklers glance around, then jump over a fence and land on the coiled tube. The yellow sprinkler shoots out of the end of the tube, covered head to toe in red pizza sauce. The pink and blue sprinklers hug each other and look frightened as the yellow sprinkler approaches them. The yellow sprinkler shakes off the sauce and hugs the pink and blue sprinklers.

Aunt Ria says, ACTUALLY, THERE'S ONE MORE
LITTLE PROBLEM.
HOW DO WE GET IT
TO THE FESTIVAL?

Poppy says, UH...

Crat, an orange cat, asks, IS IT READY?

[Sniffs]

Crat continues, IT SMELLS READY!

Other judges arrive with Crat. The blonde-haired woman, a bearded man and a dark-haired woman wearing a crown.

The blonde-haired woman says, WELL, I FIGURED IF YOU WERE
MAKING A GARGANTUAN PIZZA,
WE SHOULD COME TO YOU!

Crat and the other judges eat slices of pizza.

The judge wearing the crown says, BIGGER ISN'T ALWAYS BETTER.

She tries the pizza.

The woman wearing the crown says, BUT...

[Mouth full]

She continues, CONGRATULATIONS, WINNER.

The blonde-haired woman says, CONGRATULATIONS, POPPY AND CHAZ!
YOU'RE OUR BIG IS BEST VEGGIE FEST WINNERS!
MAKE THAT GARGANTUAN WINNERS!

[Cheering in celebration]
