Cars travel on the streets of a large colourful city. A family leaves a red brick condo. A family enters a pizza shop. Another family stands outside a large yellow house. A fourth family meets in front of a yellow trailer just outside the city. The kids from the four families climb a hill in a park.

Davey and Abigail the dog sit at a table in front of a food truck.

Abigail says, EXCUSE ME, AL?

Cris and Crat sit at a nearby table. Davey’s mom sits at the table beside them.

Abigail continues,
WE ORDERED OUR PIES
45 MINUTES AGO.

(Gasps)

Al replies,
I BEG YOUR PARDON, MADAM?!

Abigail covers her face with a menu.

She whispers to Davey,
IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA
TO GET ON AL'S BAD SIDE!

Davey responds,
YOU SHOULD BE MORE WORRIED ABOUT
THE GOAL I'M ABOUT TO SCORE!

Davey flicks a balled-up piece of paper.

Davey adds,
HE SHOOTS…

The paper lands in a recycle bin.

Davey raises his fist and shouts,
HE SCORES!

Abigail says,
STOP THAT!
YOU'LL GET US IN TROUBLE, DAVEY!

Davey replies,
RELAX.
I'M SURE HE HASN'T NOTICED.

Al says,
ARE YOU PLAYING FLICKITYBALL
AT MY TABLE?

Davey looks nervous.

He replies,
UH... MAYBE?

Al responds,
NIIIICE!
YOU'RE LOOKING AT
THE TOWN'S UNDEFEATED
FLICKITYBALL CHAMPION!

Pictures, trophies, and medals fill a shelf in Al’s food truck.

He continues,
THAT'S ME DOING THE SCISSOR-KICK
AND FLICK-MOVE THAT SCORED
DOUBLE POINTS ANDA WON ME
THE TITLE. PRETTY AMAZING, HUH?

Davey says,
I GUESS. BUT I BET YOU COULDN'T
BEAT ME AT A GAME?

Abigail spits out her drink.

She states,
DAVEY!
YOU'RE BEING WAY TOO... TOO...
AUDACIOUS!

The Sprinkle Fairy drives past the food truck in a pink and gold double-decker bus.

Three creatures shout, “Audacious!”

The Sprinkle Fairy adds,
AUDACIOUS MEANS
TO BE VERY DARING.
YOU KNOW, THE WAY DAVEY IS BEING
BY CHALLENGING AN ADULT
TO A FLICKITYBALL CONTEST!

Al says,
BRING. IT. ON.

A blue creature on a nearby table grabs a napkin and folds it into an origami crane. Davey rolls up his sleeve as he and Al stand at opposite ends of a table.

Abigail whispers,
THIS IS BANANAS, DAVEY!
IF YOU BEAT AL,
HE WON'T SERVE US OUR PIES!

The Sprinkle Fairy says,
WELL, FLICKITYBALL'S NOT FOR ME.
TOODLES!

She flies away from Davey. Cris holds a bottle of mustard.

He announces,
WELCOME, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,
TO THE COLOSSUS FLICKITYBALL
CHAMPIONSHIP!

Crat adds,
FEATURING AN UNDEFEATED
TOWN CHAMPION
AND... ER, A STRAW-ARM KID
WHO DARES TO TAKE ON AL.

Abigail turns to Davey.

She says,
DAVEY, YOU NEED TO THINK
THIS THROUGH CLEARLY.

Davey’s mom blows a whistle.

Cris continues,
AND THEY'RE OFF AND FLICKING,
FOLKS!

Al looks confident as he balls up a piece of paper and drops it on the table.

Crat adds,
IT'S ANYONE'S GAME!

(Laughs)

Crat whispers to Cris,
AL WILL OBVIOUSLY WIN.
SORRY, DAVEY.

Al flicks the ball of paper into a recycling bin behind Davey. Davey’s mom blows the whistle again.

(Cheering)

Crat responds,
AL SCORES A GOAL IN THE
FIRST THREE SECONDS!

Cris adds,
DAVEY'S TURN TO FLICK
BUT AL IS BLOCKING THE GOAL
WITH HIS MIGHTY MITTS!

Davey flicks a ball of paper. It bounces off Al’s forehead and into a recycle bin behind him. Davey’s mom blows the whistle. Abigail scratches her head.

Davey says, YESSS!

Crat states,
GOAL!
REBOUNDED OFF AL'S SHINY HEAD.

Cris adds,
SO AUDACIOUS!

Abigail covers her eyes with her floppy black ears.

She responds,
OH, I CAN BARELY WATCH!

The blue creature creates an origami unicorn at the nearby table. An orange creature shakes its head.

Al bounces another paper ball in the recycling bin. Davey’s mom blows the whistle.

(Spectators cheering)

Al dusts off his hands.

Crat says,
AL SCORES HIS SECOND GOAL!
WILL DAVEY SCORE AGAIN?
WILL AL BEAT HIM ANYWAY?

Cris adds,
HIS HEAD IS OFF LIMITS FOR NOW.

Davey drops a ball of paper on the table and lines up a shot. He picks the paper back up. Davey flicks the paper ball into the neck hole of Al’s shirt.

(Chuckles)

Al responds, TICKLES!

The paper ball slides out of Al’s sleeve and lands in the recycling bin.

(Cheering)

Cris states,
HE SCORED ON HIS OWN GOAL!
AND AN EVEN MORE AUDACIOUS
MOVE BY DAVEY!

Text reads, “Audacious”

Abigail whispers,
IT'S TWO-ALL WITH A MINUTE
TO GO. YOU COULD WIN THIS.
AND I'M HERE TO TELL YOU...
DON'T! IF YOU BEAT AL,
HE'LL PROBABLY BAN US
FROM ORDERING PIES FOR LIFE!

Davey replies,
STEP ASIDE.
I'VE GOT A GAME TO WIN.

Al places a paper ball on the table. He flicks it. Davey ducks as the paper speeds over his head and lands in the recycling bin. Davey’s mom blows the whistle.

Al says,
YESSS! THIS GAME IS MINE!
JUST TRY AND STOP ME!

Davey replies, OKAY!

Davey tosses a paper ball onto the table. He jumps up and flicks it between his legs and scores.

(Effort grunt)

Crat says,
I DON'T BELIEVE MY EYES!
DAVEY USES AL'S OWN
'SCISSOR KICK AND FLICK' MOVE
TO SCORE DOUBLE POINTS
AND WIN THE GAME!
NOW THAT'S AUDACIOUS!

Text reads, “Audacious”

(Cheering)

Abigail Sobs.

She whimpers,
GOODBYE, PIES.

The blue creature makes a paper airplane. The orange creature blows a raspberry. The blue creature tosses the plane at the orange creature. The orange creature falls into the plane and floats away from the table. The blue creature waves goodbye.

Al says, HEY YOU!

Abigail responds, UH-OH.

Al approaches Davey.

He adds,
YOU LITTLE...
CHAMPION!
WELL DONE, KID!
I ADMIRE YOUR AUDACITY.
REMINDS ME OF A YOUNG ME.

Al shows Davey and Abigail a picture of himself as a child. Al hands Davey a coupon.

Al states,
FREE PIE PASS... FOR LIFE!

Abigail says,
FREE PIES?!
NICE ONE, DAVEY!
BEING AUDACIOUS PAID OFF!

Davey shouts, WOOHOO!

(Gasps happily, sniffs)

Al drops a pie off in front of Davey. Green steam rises from the top.
Davey responds, EWW!

He looks at the coupon.

He reads,
"ONLY CURRIED GARLIC
AND MARSHMALLOW PIE?"

Davey adds,
EWW! NO THANKS!

Abigail says,
FREE PIE!
MMM!

(Devouring happily)
