The kids copy Kyle’s demonstration. When Miss Kylie tendus into second position, she keeps her foot out and pointed. She drops into a plié with her feet spread and as she stands she points her other foot out before bringing it to her other heel.

Miss Kylie puts her hands on her hips and spreads her feet.
She says, NOW IN SECOND POSITION,
OUR FEET EXTEND
JUST LIKE OUR ARMS,
BUT WE NEED TO MAKE SURE OUR
HEELS ARE STILL TURNED IN
AND OUR FEET ARE SPREAD OUT.
Miss Kylie and the kids have their feet apart.
Miss Kylie asks, COOL?
Jordan say, YEAH.
Lily nods and says, YEAH.
Miss Kylie says, AWESOME, NOT LET'S LEARN
OUR TENDUS.
NOW A TENDU IS BASICALLY
JUST A FANCY WORD
FOR POINTING YOUR TOE.
Miss Kylie stands with her heels together and toes in a V shape.
She says, SO WE'RE GOING TO TENDU
OUR FOOT,
AND WE'RE GOING TO BRING IT
BACK TO FIRST.
Miss Kylie demonstrates sticking her foot out and touching her toes to the floor.
She says, NOW JUST THE SAME ON THE
OTHER FOOT.
TENDU, BRING IT BACK.
Miss Kylie and the kids practice tendus. When they bring their feet back their heels are together and toes are out.
Miss Kylie says, NOW LET'S DO TWO MORE.
FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT.
As Miss Kylie counts, her and the kids practice tendus with each leg.
Miss Kylie asks, HOW DOES THAT FEEL?
The kids say, GOOD!
Miss Kylie says, AWESOME.
Lily comments, THE THING I LOVE MOST ABOUT
DANCE IS YOU CAN JUST
LET ALL OF YOUR EMOTIONS OUT

AFTER OUR FOUR TENDUS,
WE TENDU INTO A PLIÉ IN
SECOND POSITION,
PLIÉ, STRETCH UP WITH A TENDU,
AND BACK TO FIRST POSITION.
The kids copy Kyle’s demonstration. When Miss Kylie tendus into second position, she keeps her foot out and pointed. She drops into a plié with her feet spread and as she stands she points her other foot out before bringing it to her other heel.
Miss Kylie says, AND THEN WE JUST REPEAT IT ON
THE OTHER SIDE.
SO WE GO TENDU, PLIÉ,
STRETCH UP, AND CLOSE.
Miss Kylie and the kids repeat the steps.
Miss Kylie asks, DO YOU GUYS WANT TO TRY IT
WITH SOME ARMS?
The kids say, YEAH!
Miss Kylie says, AWESOME. SO LIKE I SAID,
WE'RE JUST USING FIRST
AND OUR SECOND POSITIONS.
Miss Kylie demonstrates the first position with the beach ball pose and the second position with the hug pose.
She says, WE'RE GOING TO TENDU ONE,
BACK TO FIRST, TWO,
THREE, FOUR, FIVE, SIX,
SEVEN, EIGHT.
Miss Kylie and the kids practice tendus with their arms spread in second position.
She says, NOW DURING OUR PLIÉS,
OUR ARMS JUST STAY HERE.
TENDU, PLIÉ, TENDU, CLOSE.

AND THEN WHEN WE CLOSE,
OUR ARMS GO BACK TO OUR FIRST
POSITION.
Miss Kylie and the kids practice adding pliés between their tendus. When they close, they lower their arms to first position.

AND ARTICULATING YOUR FEET

A FIRST AND JUST NAILING THAT.

She counts, ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR.
Miss Kylie and the kids do tendus. Their heels meet on the even counts.
Miss Kylie counts, FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT.
ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR.
Miss Kylie and the kids add pliés to their routine between tendus.
Miss Kylie counts. FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT.
Miss Kylie drops her arms.

The kids say, FREESTYLE FUN!
Title card Freestyle Fun! The dancers move across the floor. Jordan starts off the free style dancing as soft, upbeat music plays. Emani pliés. Ethan twirls then performs some freestyle moves. Ethan does a split kick. Lily moves gracefully, extending her arms. She twirls in tendus. Miss Kylie stands behind the kids when the freestyle fun ends.
Miss Kylie says, FOR TODAY'S FINALE, LET'S THINK
OF SOMEWHERE BEAUTIFUL
AS OUR BALLET DANCE.
LET'S CLOSE OUR EYES AND OPEN
THEM IN FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT.
Miss Kylie and the kids keep their hands on their hips when they close their eyes. The studio transforms to a snowy, fairy tale forest. It snows.
Miss Kylie says, A WINTER WONDERLAND!
WHAT A PERFECT PLACE
TO PERFORM OUR TENDUS.
Ethan and Jordan wear white shirts and black tights. In the snowy forest, Miss Kylie and the kids perform among the drifting snowflakes. Arms in second position, feet in first position, Miss Kylie and the kids preform their routine as soft, upbeat, instrumental music plays. They do tendus side to side. They plié, tendu to their left, plié, tendu to the right, plié. The move is repeated. The girls wear pink tutus and denim jackets. Miss Kylie and the boys wear black and white costumes.
Miss Kylie voiceover.
She comments, IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU'VE
NEVER DANCED BEFORE.
JUST TAKE IT STEP BY STEP.
SEE YOU NEXT TIME!
Miss Kylie and the kids look around their winter wonderland as it snows. The dancers continue moving in the drifting snow, twirling. The dancers take a bow.
