A split screen shows images of kids playing kitchenware as musical instruments.
In colourful letters, the name of the show appears between a fork and a knife. It reads "My world kitchen."
The narrator says WHOSE KITCHEN ARE
WE GOING TO TODAY?
Mason opens his door and says HI, I'M MASON.
WELCOME TO MY HOME.
COME IN.
Mason is around 9, with short wavy red hair and wears a blue tee.
He says THIS IS MY DAD JAMES.
Dad says HELLO.
The narrator says HI, DAD.
Mason says THIS IS MY KITCHEN.
TODAY I'LL BE MAKING YORKSHIRE
PUDDINGS WITH SAUSAGES, 'CAUSE
I LOVE THEM.
The narrator says MASON'S DAD HAS SHOWN HIM A
VERY SPECIAL WAY TO MAKE
YORKSHIRE PUDDING WITH
SAUSAGES, WHICH HE CAN MAKE BY
HIMSELF.
MASON'S FAMILY ARE ENGLISH AND
HIS DAD COMES FROM A PART OF
ENGLAND CALLED YORKSHIRE.
An animated world map shows the location of Yorkshire, England.
The narrator says YORKSHIRE IS THE LARGEST
HISTORIC COUNTY IN ENGLAND.
YORKSHIRE'S HOME TO BUSY
CITIES,
WONDERFUL COUNTRYSIDE, AND
PRETTY SEASIDE TOWNS.
SOME PEOPLE THINK THAT
YORKSHIRE PUDDING WAS INVENTED
HERE WHICH IS HOW IT GOT ITS
NAME.
YORKSHIRE PUDDING IS OFTEN
EATEN WITH A ROAST DINNER WITH
LOTS OF LOVELY GRAVY.
MM, YUM.
MASON'S WASHED HIS HANDS, PUT
ON HIS APRON, AND HE'S READY TO
COOK.
Mason says I'M MAKING YORKSHIRE PUDDINGS
WITH SAUSAGES FOR MY FRIENDS.
The narrator says AND HE'S INVITED BETHANY,
NEVAEH, AND LUCA TO TASTE ONE
OF THE MAIN INGREDIENTS BEFORE
THEY COME ROUND FOR A VERY
SPECIAL YORKSHIRE THEMED MEAL
LATER.
Bethany is around 8, with long straight blond hair with a small side braid and wears a blue tee and a denim overall.
Nevaeh is around 7, with long wavy brown hair in a half do and wears a coral shirt and a purple cardigan sweater.
Luca is around 8, with short straight brown hair and wears an orange tee with purple rims.
The narrator says WHAT'S THAT?
The kids open a box with the special ingredient.
Bethany says IT LOOKS LIKE CARDBOARD.
Luca says IT LOOKS LIKE CELERY.
The narrator says OOH, IT'S NOT CELERY.
(GROANING)
Bethany says IT TASTES LIKE GARLIC OR
SOMETHING LIKE...
(GROANING)
LIKE ONION OR SOMETHING.
The narrator says IT'S NOT GARLIC EITHER.
Bethany says DON'T LIKE IT.
Luca says HMM.
Nevaeh says HORSERADISH?
The narrator says THAT'S RIGHT, IT'S
HORSERADISH.
Luca says NO, I DON'T LIKE THAT.
NO.
The narrator says OH, DEAR.
LET'S SEE IF MASON CAN CHANGE
THEIR MINDS BECAUSE HORSERADISH
IS ONE OF THE INGREDIENTS IN
HIS YORKSHIRE PUDDING WITH
SAUSAGES.
YOU'LL ALSO NEED COOKED
COCKTAIL SAUSAGES, PLAIN FLOUR,
EGGS, BROCCOLI, WATER, MILK,
BLACK PEPPER, AND VEGETABLE
OIL.
Mason says TAKE THE BROCCOLI.
I'M GOING TO SNAP THE BROCCOLI
INTO SMALL PIECES.
The narrator says THEN JUST TIP INTO THE DISH
AND MAKE SURE YOU POUR THE
WATER ALL OVER IT.
Mason says WHEN THAT'S DONE, YOU NEED
TO COVER THE BOWL WITH FOIL.
The narrator says VERY NEATLY DONE.
Mason says I'M GOING TO WEIGH THE FLOUR
ONTO THE SCALES.
THE FLOUR LOOKS LIKE SNOW, BUT
REALLY POWDERY.
NEXT WE'RE GOING TO GRIND SOME
BLACK PEPPER.
The narrator says THEN CRACK AN EGG INTO A MUG,
GIVE IT A WHISK, AND TIP IT
INTO A JUG.
THEN DO THE SAME WITH ANOTHER
EGG.
AND REMEMBER TO WIPE YOUR HANDS
AFTER TOUCHING RAW EGG.
Mason says WE'RE GOING TO DO THE MILK
NOW.
I'VE GOT TO ADD SOME SPOONS OF
MILK.
NOW IT'S TIME FOR A WHISK.
The narrator says THAT'S IT, MASON.
WHISK IT, WHISK IT, WHISK IT.
Mason says YOU'VE GOT TO ADD THE MILK
AND EGG MIXTURE TO THE FLOUR BIT
BY BIT BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT IT
TO HAVE LUMPS.
THIS WILL BE THE BATTER FOR THE
YORKSHIRE PUDDING.
MY DADDY CAME FROM YORKSHIRE AND
EVERY TIME I GO TO MY NANNY AND
POP-POPS I HAVE YORKSHIRE
PUDDINGS WITH SOMETHING SPECIAL.
NOW, IT'S TIME FOR MY SPECIAL
INGREDIENT.
The narrator says AND YOU KNOW WHAT THAT IS
DON'T YOU?
THAT'S RIGHT, IT'S
HORSERADISH.
HORSERADISH COMES FROM THE ROOT
OF THE HORSERADISH PLANT.
WHEN THE FLOWERS ON THE PLANT
DIE, THE ROOT IS DUG UP AND
USED IN COOKING.
HORSERADISH HAS A VERY STRONG
TASTE AND CAN BE CHOPPED,
GRATED, OR MADE INTO A SAUCE
THAT'S OFTEN EATEN WITH A ROAST
DINNER.
MANY YEARS AGO SOME PEOPLE
RUBBED HORSERADISH INTO THEIR
HEADS TO MAKE THEIR HEADACHES
GO AWAY.
Mason says NEXT WE'RE GOING TO GRATE THE
HORSERADISH.
The narrator says JUST PUT IT IN AND GRATE
INTO LITTLE PIECES.
Mason says IT'S BEST TO USE A FORK TO
GET THE HORSERADISH OUT.
The narrator says AH, GOOD THINKING MASON.
MAKE SURE ALL THE GRATED
HORSERADISH GOES INTO THE
MIXTURE, AND WHISK IT, WHISK
IT, AND WHISK IT AGAIN.
Mason says NEXT WE'RE GOING TO GREASE
THE YORKSHIRE PUDDING TIN.
GOING TO DIP IT IN.
YOU DO THIS SO THE YORKSHIRE
PUDDINGS DON'T STICK.
The narrator says NICE BRUSHWORK.
Mason says THIS IS REALLY, REALLY FUN
BECAUSE IT'S LIKE...
JUST LIKE PAINTING.
The narrator says OIL PANTING PERHAPS.
Mason says NOW, WE'RE GOING TO GET SOME
COOKED SAUSAGES FROM THE FRIDGE.
The narrator says NOW MASON'S DAD HAS ALREADY
COOKED THESE FOR HIM TO USE.
Mason says I'M GOING TO TAKE THE COOKED
SAUSAGES AND CUT THEM INTO SOME
PIECES.
The narrator says CAREFULLY DOES IT, MASON.
THEN JUST POP THEM INTO THE
YORKSHIRE PUDDING TRAY.
Mason says MAKE SURE YOU TRY AND KEEP
YOUR HANDS CLEAR OF THE KNIFE.
The narrator says THAT'S RIGHT, MASON.
Mason says I LOVE SAUSAGES AND I HOPE MY
FRIENDS DO TOO.
The narrator says JUST FILL UP THE TRAY WITH
ALL THE SAUSAGE PIECES.
Mason says NEXT I'M GOING TO POUR THE
BATTER INTO THE SAUSAGES.
The narrator says I LIKE THE WAY YOU CAN SEE
THE SAUSAGES IN THE BATTER.
DAD, CAN YOU HELP ME PUT THE
BATTER INTO THE OVEN PLEASE?
Dad says WOW, THESE LOOK FANTASTIC,
MASON.
Dad James put the puddings in the oven.
The narrator says IN GO THE YORKSHIRE PUDDINGS
WITH SAUSAGES, AND THE LOVELY
BROCCOLI TO GO WITH IT.
AND IF YOU'D LIKE TO MAKE
MASON'S YORKSHIRE PUDDING WITH
SAUSAGES, TAKE SOME BROCCOLI
AND BREAK IT INTO SMALL PIECES.
PUT THEM INTO A ROASTING DISH,
POUR OVER SOME WATER, COVER
NEATLY WITH FOIL, AND PUT TO
ONE SIDE.
SPOON PLAIN FLOUR INTO A JUG
AND ADD A FEW TWISTS OF BLACK
PEPPER.
CRACK EGGS INTO A MUG, CHECK
FOR SHELL, AND POUR INTO A
DIFFERENT JUG.
DON'T FORGET TO WIPE YOUR HANDS
AFTER TOUCHING RAW EGG.
THEN GIVE YOUR EGGS A QUICK
WHISK.
NOW, ADD SOME MILK TO THE EGGS
AND GIVE IT ANOTHER WHISK.
SLOWLY TIP THE EGGS AND MILK
INTO THE FLOUR AND WHISK INTO A
SMOOTH BATTER.
NOW GRATE SOME HORSERADISH, ADD
TO THE BATTER, AND WHISK AGAIN.
OIL A YORKSHIRE PUDDING TRAY.
THEN, CUT COOKED COCKTAIL
SAUSAGES INTO PIECES AND ADD
THEM TO THE TRAY.
POUR THE BATTER OVER THE
SAUSAGES.
THEN ASK A GROWNUP TO PUT YOUR
YORKSHIRE PUDDINGS WITH
SAUSAGES INTO THE OVEN ALONG
WITH THE BROCCOLI.
NOW, THERE'S JUST ENOUGH TIME
FOR MASON TO GET THE TABLE
READY FOR HIS SPECIAL YORKSHIRE
MEAL.
Mason sets the table in the garden and decorate the area with balloons, party flags and roses.
Mason says WHITE ROSES ARE A SYMBOL OF
YORKSHIRE.
The narrator says OH, HO, AND THEY'RE VERY
PRETTY, MASON.
(DOORBELL RINGING)
Mason says OH, THAT'S MY FRIENDS!
The narrator says AH, SPOT ON, MASON.
YOUR YORKSHIRE THEMED TABLE
LOOKS FANTASTIC.
Mason's friends say HI MASON!
The narrator says NOW EVERYONE'S WASHED THEIR
HANDS AND THEY'RE READY TO EAT.
The kids walk outside.
Nevaeh says THANKS MASON!
Luca says WHOA!
THAT'S AMAZING, HOW DID YOU MAKE
THAT?
Bethany says WHOA.
Nevaeh says WHAT ARE THEY?
Mason says THEY'RE WHITE ROSES, THEY ARE
A SYMBOL OF YORKSHIRE.
Luca says I LIKE THE FACT THEY'RE IN A
TEAPOT TOO, IT LOOKS SO NICE.
The narrator says I HOPE MASON POURED THE TEA
OUT FIRST.
Nevaeh says I LIKE HOW YOU'VE MADE THE
BALLOONS GO UP THERE, LIKE
YOU'VE TIED IT ON.
Bethany says VERY IMPRESSIVE AS TO HOW IT
STAYS UP.
Nevaeh says I LIKE HOW YOU SETTED THE
TABLE OUT.
Mason says ARE YOU GUYS HUNGRY?
Kids say YEAH!
Mason says I MADE A SPECIAL YORKSHIRE
PUDDING WITH SAUSAGES FOR YOU
GUYS TODAY.
The narrator says HERE COMES DAD WITH THE FOOD.
Bethany says WOW.
Nevaeh says WOW.
The narrator says AND LOOK HE'S EVEN ADDED SOME
PARSLEY.
WELL DONE, MASON, YOUR
YORKSHIRE PUDDINGS WITH
SAUSAGES LOOK WONDERFUL, AND
THE BROCCOLI WILL MAKE IT EVEN
MORE DELICIOUS.
Mason says IT'S TRADITIONAL IN YORKSHIRE
TO HAVE A YORKSHIRE PUDDING WITH
GRAVY.
The narrator says AND HERE COMES DAD AGAIN
WITH LOTS OF IT.
OH, LOOK AT THAT.
Luca says OH, SMELLS LOVELY.
The narrator says DOESN'T IT JUST, LUCA?
Mason says LET'S EAT!
The narrator says EARLIER TODAY MASON'S FRIENDS
REALLY DIDN'T LIKE THE TASTE OF
HORSERADISH.
DO YOU THINK THEY'LL CHANGE
THEIR MINDS WHEN THEY TASTE IT
IN HIS YORKSHIRE PUDDING WITH
SAUSAGES?
Luca says THE GRAVY TASTES LOVELY.
Mason says I CAN'T REALLY SAY ANYTHING
BECAUSE I'M JUST DIGGING IN.
The narrator says AH-HA, DIG AWAY MASON.
Nevaeh says I THINK MASON SHOULD OPEN A
RESTAURANT BECAUSE HIS FOOD'S
REALLY GOOD.
The narrator says OOH, GREAT IDEA.
Mason says WHAT DO YOU THINK THE SPECIAL
INGREDIENT WAS?
Nevaeh says GINGER?
Luca says I'M GOING TO GUESS HERBS.
Mason says THE SPECIAL INGREDIENT WAS
HORSERADISH.
The narrator says WHOA, THEY LOOK SURPRISED.
Bethany says IS IT...
THE YORKSHIRE PUDDING DOES TASTE
DIFFERENT.
Nevaeh says IS IT IN THE YORKSHIRE

PUDDING?
Luca says YES, I THOUGHT IT WAS REALLY
