Chris says, WE'RE HERE IN A MIXED FOREST AND MEADOW HABITAT.
Martin says, IT'S US, THE KRATT BROTHERS! I'M MARTIN.
Chris says, I'M CHRIS. IT'S EARLY MORNING, AND WE'RE LOOKING FOR ONE OF THE BUSIEST CREATURES IN THE CREATURE WORLD.
A bumblebee lands on a pink flower.
[Buzzing]
Martin says, YOU KNOW THIS ANIMAL WELL, BUT NOW IT'S GETTING VERY ENDANGERED, SO IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT WE FIND IT. WE'RE TALKING ABOUT...
They both say, THE BUMBLEBEE!
Martin says, WHEN YOU'RE LOOKING FOR BUMBLEBEES, THE BEST THING TO DO IS TO LOOK FOR WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR... FLOWERS!
FLOWERS ARE COLORFUL TO ATTRACT POLLINATORS LIKE WASPS, HONEY BEES AND BUMBLEBEES.
Video footage shows wasps, honey bees, and bumblebees on flowers. In the meadow, Martin leans down and peers at a bumblebee on a flower.
Martin says, BUMBLEBEE! WE'RE GETTING LUCKY!
Chris says, BUMBLEBEE! BUMBLEBEES ARE SUCH IMPORTANT POLLINATORS. WE NEED THEM TO GET MANY OF THE FRUITS, VEGETABLES AND FLOWERS THAT WE LOVE. THANKS, BUMBLEBEE.
Martin says, CHRIS, A GREEN BEE!
A grass-green bee lands on a bright green flower.
[Martin chuckling, buzzing, upbeat music continues]
Martin says, I THINK IT'S A BEE.
Chris says, I'VE GOT ONE HERE TOO. IT'S A METALLIC GREEN SWEAT BEE. THEY CAN SPEND MANY HOURS OF THE DAY COLLECTING FOOD FROM FLOWER PATCHES, JUST LIKE A BUMBLEBEE.
Martin says, ANOTHER ONE. OH, WHEN YOU GET A CLOSE LOOK AT THEM, THEY HAVE SO MANY COOL FEATURES. THAT LONG TONGUE HELPS THEM GET TO THE NECTAR, EVEN IN TUBE-SHAPED FLOWERS THAT THEY HAVE TO CRAWL INTO!
HOW ABOUT THOSE HELICOPTER WINGS, BEATING ALMOST AS FAST AS A HUMMINGBIRD'S! AND THAT BRIGHT YELLOW COLOR. THAT'S A WARNING FOR BIRDS THAT THIS BUMBLEBEE PACKS A DEFENSIVE STING.
[Birds singing, buzzing]
Chris says, IMAGINE, IF WE COULD BUZZ AROUND LIKE A BUMBLEBEE.
Martin says, IMAGINE IF WE HAD BUMBLEBEE POWERS.
Both ask, WHAT IF?
They jump and change into cartoon versions of themselves. Martin wears a blue jacket over a white shirt. Chris wears a green jacket over a white shirt. Both wear beige shorts and purple hiking boots.
[Energetic theme music plays]
A person sings, ON ADVENTURE WITH THE COOLEST CREATURES, FROM THE OCEANS TO THE TREES.
Chris swings on a vine. He lands on a large orange flower. Martin rides on a bee.
[Whoosh]
The person sings, THE BROTHERS KRATT ARE GOING PLACES, YOU NEVER GET TO SEE. HANGING WITH THEIR CREATURE FRIENDS, GET READY IT'S THE HOUR.
[Beeping]

Chris and Martin use discs to activate creature powers.
[Electronic whooshing]

CHEETAH SPEED AND LIZARD GLIDE, FALCON FLIGHT AND LION PRIDE.
[Whoosh]

An alligator snaps at Martin. Martin runs into a male lion. Chris flies into a tree.
[Snapping, whoosh]

In a large meadow, Chris and Martin walk away from the Tortuga. Bees land on colourful flowers around them. In a small clearing, rocks surround a hollow log.
[Bee Buzzing, Martin gasping]
Martin asks, WONDER WHAT'S UNDER THERE?
Chris says, LET'S FLIP IT OVER AND FIND OUT!
Martin grabs Chris’s shirt and pulls him backwards.
Martin says, BETTER YET... LET'S MINIATURIZE AND CRAWL UNDER IT!
Chris says, GRAVY!
Martin says, UHM.. WHO HAS THE MINIATURIZER? UH, I NEED BETTER POCKETS!
Chris opens his backpack.
[Rustling]
Chris says, YOU NEED AN ORGANIZED BACKPACK LIKE MINE! EVERYTHING IN ITS PLACE. BUT I DON'T HAVE THE ONE AND ONLY MINIATURIZER. YOU HAD THE MINIATURIZER LAST.
Martin says, OH, HERE IT IS!
Both say, THE MINIATURIZER!
Martin throws the miniaturizer on the ground. It expands, and he and Chris jump on top of it.
[Clunking, zapping]
Chris says, WAIT, WE'RE SUPPOSED TO HAVE LUNCH WITH THE GANG TODAY.
Martin says, OH, THIS'LL BE QUICK. WE'LL BE RIGHT BACK.
Chris says, CAN'T SAY NO TO A MINI-ADVENTURE.
Both say, MINIATURIZE!
Chris and Martin shrink. They slide down a metal pole to the grass.
[Zapping, upbeat music plays]
Martin says, HO-HO! ALRIGHT...YEAH! WOOOOOH!
At the Tortuga, Jimmy stands at the door and looks outside.
Jimmy says, HEY BROS, CAKE TIME! WHERE'D THEY GO?...HUH?
In the meadow, Chris and Martin run to an opening beneath the log and peer down.
Martin and Chris say, WHOAA!
Martin slides down the side of the opening. Chris jumps down.
Chris says, IT'S LIKE A CAVE.
A striped salamander eats a worm.
[Martin gasping, slurping]
Martin says, A SALAMANDER!
Chris says, WITH STRIPES!
Both say, A TIGER SALAMANDER! UH-OH!
The salamander chases the Kratt brothers.
[Tense music plays, slide whistle]
Martin says, WHOA! HURRY!
Martin jumps into a hole and lands on a cricket. He rides the cricket as it hops away.
[Whooshing, grunting]
Martin says, WHOA!...WHOA! WHERE'S THIS CRICKET TAKING ME?! THERE'S A LOT OF ACTION UNDER A LOG!
Chris follows Martin. The salamander chases him.
Chris says, WAIT UP! WE GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE!
[Whooshing]
Martin says, WHOA! WHOAAAA!
Chris trips over a tree root.
[Slide whistle, grunting]
Chris says, OOF! UGH!
The cricket hops from beneath the log, carrying Martin towards bumblebees on flowers.
[Tense music continues, rustling]
Martin asks, HOW DO YOU TELL A CRICKET TO STOP?! WHOA! UGH!
Martin falls off the cricket.
[Buzzing, upbeat music plays]
Martin says, OH! HUH? THERE'S OUR GETAWAY!
Martin climbs onto a bumblebee.
[Grunting]
Martin says, CHRIS! C'MON, JUMP ON! WHERE'D HE GO?...CHRIS?!
Chris picks the contents of his backpack up off the ground.
Chris says, AHH... OH NO, MY STUFF!
The salamander looms over Chris.
[Loud stomping, Chris gasping, tense music plays]
Martin says, UH-OH, WE'RE TAKING OFF! CHRIS, WHERE ARE YOU?
[Buzzing]
Chris says, MARTIN...OVER HERE! AHHHHH!!!
Martin says, TO THE CHRIS RESCUE!
Chris says, AHH!
Martin says, GRAB ON, BRO!
Chris runs to the opening and jumps. Martin grabs his hand and pulls him up onto the bumblebee. The salamander snaps at him.
[Chris screams, buzzing, jaws whooshing]
Martin says, WHEW.
Chris says, OH HO! THANKS, MARTIN! I WAS ALMOST A SALAMANDER SNACK!
[Buzzing, upbeat music plays]
Martin asks, DO YOU REALIZE WHAT'S HAPPENING, BRO? WE ARE...RIDING A BUMBLEBEE! AN ENDANGERED BUMBLEBEE!
Chris says, YEAH! IT'S GETTING HARDER AND HARDER TO SEE BUMBLEBEES, BECAUSE THERE ARE FEWER AND FEWER OF THEM. MOSTLY BECAUSE OF POISON SPRAYED ON THE FLOWERS THEY FEED FROM. BUMBLEBEES COULD DISAPPEAR. WE HAVE TO HELP THE ENDANGERED BUMBLEBEES! BUT...WHERE AM I GOING TO PUT MY STUFF?
Chris holds his gear with two arms as he rides behind Martin.
Martin says, AW, JUST STUFF IT IN YOUR POCKETS.
Chris says, I CAN'T FIT ALL OF THIS IN MY POCKETS.
Martin says, WELL THEN, YOU NEED BETTER POCKETS.
[Laughing]
In the meadow, Aviva shouts, MARTIN! CHRIS!
[Buzzing]
Koki says, NO BROS, BUT A LOT OF BEES.
Chris says, HEY LOOK!
Martin shouts, OVER HERE! HEY, IT'S US!
Chris says, WE'RE TOO SMALL. THEY CAN'T HEAR US.
Martin says, I WONDER WHERE THIS BUMBLEBEE IS TAKING US?
Aviva asks, DID YOU HEAR THAT?
Jimmy says, I ONLY HEAR BUZZING.
[Loud buzzing, upbeat music plays]
Jimmy says, AAAAH... B-B-B-BEES!
Jimmy hides behind Koki.
Koki says, DON'T WORRY, JIMMY. IF YOU DON'T BOTHER BEES, THEY WON'T BOTHER YOU.
Aviva says, YEAH, DON'T SWAT, JUST CHILL.
[Buzzing]
Aviva says, BEES ARE NICE...AND FUZZY.
[Buzzing]
Aviva says, THERE ARE SO MANY BEES OUT HERE.
Koki says, WELL, THERE ARE A LOT OF FLOWERS IN THIS MEADOW. BUMBLEBEES DEPEND ON HEALTHY FLOWERS. PLANTS NEED BUMBLEBEES TOO - TO CREATE SEEDS. IF THERE ARE NO FLOWERS, THEN NO BEES. AND IF THERE ARE NO BEES, THEN FEWER FLOWERS AND PLANTS.
Aviva says, AH HA! LOOK, THE MINIATURIZER! UH-OH. THIS MUST MEAN THEY TOOK OFF ON A MINI ADVENTURE. BUT WITH WHO?...AND WHERE?!
Elsewhere in the meadow, Zach picks a red poppy and wears it on his turtleneck.
[Rustling, gentle music plays]
Zach says, PERFECT!
Zach walks to a Zachbot standing at the bottom of the boarding ramp of Zach’s aircraft.
Zach asks, DO YOU THINK THIS RED FLOWER WORKS WITH MY OUTFIT?
[Short beep]
Zach says, AH! WHY DO I EVEN ASK YOU?
[Bumblebee buzzing]
Zach says, AHHH!...FREEZE. A BIG ANGRY BEE. DON'T MOVE! AH! TAKE ME INSIDE.
The Zachbot picks Zach up and carries him into the aircraft. It drops him on a chair in front of a screen.
[Whirring]
Zach says, OUCH!! HEY, NOT SO ROUGH!
Donita appears on the screen.
[Beeping, static hissing]
Donita asks, ZACH, ARE YOU THERE? YOU BORROWED MY COPY OF VILLAIN WEEKLY, AND I WANT IT BACK!
Zach says, FINE. I'LL MAKE MY OWN ZACH DRONE DELIVERY SYSTEM AND DELIVER IT TO YOU.
Donita says, YOU BETTER SEND IT... OR ELSE.
Dabio looks into the screen.
[Static hissing]
Zach says, BUT HOW DO I POWER THE DRONES? HMM...
A bumblebee flies towards Zach, and he cringes.
[Screaming, buzzing]
Zach says, OOH...I'VE GOT AN IDEA.
Jimmy, Koki, and Aviva enter the Tortuga.
[Door whooshing]
Aviva asks, WHERE ARE THE BROTHERS?
Koki says, THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE HERE TO CELEBRATE OUR LUNCH FOR THE FIRST DAY OF SUMMER. JIMMY EVEN MADE A CAKE TO CELEBRATE.
Jimmy says, IT'S AN AMAZING CAKE WITH COLORFUL ICING FLOWERS.
In his aircraft, Zach gestures to a design on a screen. Three Zachbots stand in a semi-circle in front of him.
Zach says, SO I WILL POWER MY ZACHDRONE DELIVERY WITH BUMBLEBEES! THE DRONES HOLD THE PACKAGE HERE AND IT IS POWERED BY THE BUZZING BEES HERE!
On the screen, a Zachdrone picks up a package.
[Whirring, buzzing]
Zach says, UGH! BUT I NEED A LOT! GET OUT YOUR VACUUM ARMS, WE'RE GONNA COLLECT SOME BUZZY BEES!
A Zachbot holds up a vacuum arm.
[Evil cackling, whirring]
On the bumblebee, Chris says, WE SHOULD CALL THE GANG! BUT MY ARMS ARE TOO FULL! WHERE AM I GOING TO PUT ALL MY CREATURE STUFF?
[Buzzing, upbeat music plays]
Martin says, FORGET ABOUT THAT, CHRIS. REMEMBER, WE'RE RIDING A BUMBLEBEE!
Chris says, YEAH. OF COURSE, I KNOW THAT. LIKE ALL INSECTS, THE BUMBLEBEE HAS THREE MAIN BODY PARTS. YOU'VE GOT THE HEAD WITH THE EYES, ANTENNA AND MOUTHPARTS. THE THORAX, THAT'S WHERE YOU'RE SITTING MARTIN.
Martin says, THORAX, A VERY FUZZY THORAX!
Chris says, AND THE ABDOMEN, WHERE I AM. THE ABDOMEN'S FUZZY TOO.
Martin says, HMM, I WONDER WHY A BUMBLEBEE IS SO FUZZY?
Chris says, I LIKE HOW THE LEGS JUST HANG WHILE THEY FLY. WHAT'S THAT? THERE'S SOMETHING ON HER BACK LEG. OH, IT'S A POLLEN BASKET, WHERE A BEE COLLECTS POLLEN. OH! I CAN PUT ALL MY STUFF ON THERE, CAUSE IT'S STICKY.
Chris sticks his gear onto the pollen basket on the bumblebee’s back leg.
[Rustling, buzzing, gentle music plays]
Chris says, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, MY CREATURE POD. HEY, NOW I HAVE MY HANDS FREE! THAT'S MUCH BETTER. I CAN CHECK OUT THE WINGS. THEY ARE SO SMALL FOR A BIG BODY. THEY GO UP AND DOWN. IT'S AMAZING! THOSE WINGS CAN FLY SUCH A BIG BEE. THEY GO UP AND DOWN 200 TIMES A SECOND.
Martin says, AND THOSE WINGS BRING A BUMBLEBEE IN FOR A LANDING.
The bumblebee lands on a flower. Chris and Martin leap off the bee’s back.
[Whooshing]
Martin says, HEY, SEE ALL THIS POWDERY STUFF? IT'S STICKY!
Chris says, YEAH, IT'S POLLEN!
Martin says, OH, THE BEE'S COLLECTING POLLEN AND NECTAR FOR SUGAR. LOTS OF POLLEN!
Chris says, HEY, LOOK. SHE'S ADDING SOME POLLEN INTO THE BASKET ON HER LEG.
Martin says, HEY, LET'S HELP HER COLLECT POLLEN.
[Scraping]
Martin says, UH, CHRIS, I DON'T THINK SHE LIKES YOUR STUFF BEING IN HER BASKET.
The bumblebee picks Chris’ gear off the basket and throws it.
[Whooshing]
Chris says, NO, MY CREATURE STUFF! NO, NO, NO!
The gear falls off a flower petal.
[Slide whistle]
Martin says, UH, THE POLLEN BASKETS ARE FOR POLLEN. YOU CAN'T BLAME A BEE.
Chris says, MY CREATURE POD! HOW'RE WE GOING TO CALL THE GANG? HEY, DO YOU WANT TO ASK AVIVA TO MAKE A BUMBLEBEE POWER SUIT? BUT WE'LL NEED TO GET MORE INFORMATION. PLEASE TELL ME YOU HAVE YOUR CREATURE POD.
Martin says, REMEMBER, POCKETS.
Martin takes out his blue creature pod. In the Tortuge, Koki sits beside a control panel. Martin appears on a screen.
[Beeping]
On the screen, Martin says, COME IN TORTUGA. BEE RIDER HERE. HELLO, TORTUGA!
Koki asks, HEY BROS, WHERE ARE YOU?
On the screen, Martin says, WELL, WE'RE...
[Buzzing, wind gusting]
On the screen, Martin and Chris shout, WHOA!!
Martin asks, WHAT'S WITH THIS BUZZING?
Chris says, THE FLOWER IS RELEASING POLLEN.
On the screen, Martin and Chris shout, BUZZ POLLINATION!
Chris says, BY BUZZING HER WING MUSCLES IN A SPECIAL WAY, THE BEE CAUSES THE FLOWER TO RELEASE MORE POLLEN.
Martin says, OH AND POLLEN GETS EVERYWHERE. IT STICKS TO THE BEE'S FUZZY BODY TOO.
In the Tortuga, Koki says, I CAN'T HEAR YOU!
Martin says, UGH! I SAID...WE'RE- WHOOOA!
Martin’s creature pod blows out of his hand and falls off the flower.
[Wind gusting, slide whistle]
Chris says, AWWW! NOW WE CAN'T CONTACT THEM AT ALL! WE HAVE TO GET OUR CREATURE PODS.
[Gusting]
Martin says, NOT NOW, CHRIS. BUMBLEBEES ARE BUSY BEES. DON'T STAY ON FLOWERS LONG. BUZZING WINGS MEANS... SHE'S GONNA GO! C'MON! DON'T BE LEFT BEHIND. WE'RE BUZZING OFF!
Martin climbs up on the bumblebee’s back. Chris jumps up and grabs the bee’s back leg. He dangles as the bumblebee flies away from the flower.
[Chris grunting, buzzing, screaming]
Chris shouts, WHOA!
In the Tortuga, the screen turns to static.
[Static hissing, beeping]
Koki asks, DID YOU HEAR THAT BUZZING? MAYBE THEY ARE MINI-SIZED WITH SOME KIND OF INSECT.
Aviva asks, BUT WITH WHAT KIND OF BUZZING INSECT?
Koki says, CHECKING SOUND WAVE. SEARCHING DATABASE.
[Buzzing, typing]
Koki says, THAT BUZZING IS CREATED BY THE... BUMBLEBEE!
[Beeping, gentle music plays]
Aviva says, OKAY! SO NOW WE DO KNOW. THEY ARE ON A MINI-SIZE ADVENTURE WITH ENDANGERED BUMBLEBEES!
Jimmy says, BUT WITH THEIR CREATUREPODS NOT RESPONDING, HOW ARE WE GOING TO FIND THEM?
Aviva says, IT'S A LONG SHOT. BUT I MIGHT BE ABLE TO SPOT THEM.
Aviva peers through binoculars and sees Zach by his aircraft. The three Zachbots move down the ramp to the grass.
Aviva says, ZACH!
Koki asks, WHAT'S HE DOING HERE?
[Whirring, Zach cackling]
Zach says, TURN ON SUCTION ARMS!
The Zachbots chase bumblebees.
[Vacuum humming, whooshing]
A Zachbot vacuums Zach’s hair.
[Beeping, whooshing]
Zach says, AHHH!! COME ON!
Zach pulls his head away from the vacuum, and his hair sticks up.
[Popping]
In the meadow, Chris sits behind Martin on the bumblebee.
Chris asks, WHERE ARE WE GOING!
[Buzzing, upbeat music plays]
Martin says, NOT SURE, BUT BUMBLEZZZZ KNOWS!
Chris asks, WHO'S BUMBLEZ?
Martin says, NOT BUMBLEZ- BUMBLZZZZZZZ.
Chris says, OKAY, WHO'S BUMBLEZZZZZZZ?
Martin says, UH, THE BUMBLEBEE THAT YOU'RE SITTING ON. RIGHT, BUMBLEZZZZZZZ?
Chris says, OKAY. HEY, BUMBLEZZZZZZZ! THAT'S KINDA HARD TO SAY. COULD I JUST CALL YOU BUMBLEZ FOR SHORT?
Martin says, BUMBLEZ WORKS TOO.
[Chuckling]
Martin says, HEY, REMEMBER THAT PLACE?
Martin points at the hollow log.
Chris says, OUR LOG! BUMBLEZ IS HEADING TO OUR LOG. BUT WHY?
Martin says, I DON'T KNOW, BUT WE'RE HEADED TO THAT HOLE NEXT TO OUR LOG. HANG ON!
Bumblez the bumblebee flies into the hole. They walk in a tunnel.
Chris says, UH-OH. DO SALAMANDERS EAT BEES?
Chris and Martin say, WHOA...
Bumblebees stand on honeycombs on the ground.
[Buzzing]
Martin says, SHE HAS TAKEN US TO THE NEST.
Chris says, SAY HELLO...TO THE QUEEN.
A large bumblebee climbs up the tallest honeycomb.
[Gasping, buzzing]
Chris and Martin bow and say, YOUR MAJESTY.
Martin says, WE BRING FRESH POLLEN AND NECTAR FROM YOUR KINGDOM OF FLOWERS.
Chris says, CARRIED BY YOUR LOYAL SERVANT, BUMBLEZ.
Bumblez flies to a honeycomb and scrapes the pollen off her leg.
[Buzzing, scraping, gentle music plays]
Martin says, NOW WHAT'S BUMBLEZ DOING?
[Buzzing]
Chris says, OF COURSE! A BUMBLEBEE CARRIES POLLEN AND NECTAR BACK TO THE NEST TO FEED THE QUEEN. THE QUEEN EATS AND DRINKS THEM AND THEN LAYS EGGS THAT HATCH INTO MORE BUMBLEBEE WORKERS. A BUMBLE COLONY HAS ONE QUEEN, AND BETWEEN 50 TO 500 WORKERS, WHO BRING HER POLLEN AND NECTAR TO EAT.
[Buzzing]
Martin says, THAT'S NOT A LOT OF WORKERS, SO EVERY ONE IS REALLY IMPORTANT. WE CAN'T LOSE ANY OF THESE ENDANGERED BUMBLEBEES. HUH?
The tiger salamander stands in the tunnel and licks their lips.
[Slurping]
Chris says, UH-OH. NOT GOING THAT WAY.
[Buzzing]
Martin says, C'MON! BUMBLEZ IS READY TO TAKE OFF.
Martin and Chris jump on Bumblez’s back, and she takes off.
[Upbeat music plays, buzzing]
In the meadow, Zachbots vacuum up bumblebees. Zach stands beneath a tree and watches.
[Whirring, upbeat music plays]
Zach says, I WANT MORE! MOOOORE!
[Cackling]
Zach says, COLLECT THEM ALL!
Martin says, OH NO. ZACH! AND THAT MEANS TROUBLE!
[Buzzing, whirring]
Bumblez lands on a purple flower close to Zach. A Zachbot vacuums a nearby bee off a flower and holds the vacuum over Bumblez.
The Kratt brothers scream, UAAAAAAH!
Koki puts her hand over the vacuum.

Koki says, BEES CARRY POLLEN FROM FLOWER TO FLOWER. POLLEN HAS TO GO FROM ONE FLOWER TO ANOTHER, FOR MOST PLANTS TO MAKE NUTS AND SEEDS. WITHOUT BEES, THERE WON'T BE NEW FLOWERS, GRASS, TREES, FRUITS...OR VEGETABLES.
[Buzzing, rustling, gentle music plays]
Koki turns her tablet and shows Zach an image of a barren landscape. Flowers droop beneath leafless trees.
Koki says, SO WITHOUT BEES, THIS MEADOW COULD LOOK LIKE THIS. EMPTY. LIFELESS. A BARREN WASTELAND.
Zach says, NICE PRESENTATION. BUT...I DON'T CARE!
Koki says, ARGH... MAYBE CHRIS AND MARTIN CAN GET THROUGH TO HIM.
Jimmy asks, WHERE ARE THE KRATT BROTHERS? MY CAKE ISN'T GONNA EAT ITSELF!
Zach says I DON'T KNOW. I HAVEN'T SEEN THEM...HAPPILY! AND I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU EITHER. REVERSE SUCTION! BLOW THEM AWAY!
[Whirring, beeping, wind gusting]
The Zachbots blow Koki, Aviva, and Jimmy away from Zach.
[Whooshing]
Koki shouts, HEY!
Aviva and Jimmy shout, WHOA!
Bumblez blows off the flower and flies in the direction the wind blows.
Chris says, UH-OH.
The Kratt brothers shout, AHHHH!!!
Martin shouts, ZACH, LEAVE US ALONE!
Bumblez blows into the Tortuga.
The Kratt brothers shout, AHHHH!!!
[Zach cackling]
Zach says, YOU'RE TOO LATE! I ALREADY HAVE THOSE FUZZY THINGS INSIDE MY NEWEST INVENTION. IT'S GOING TO BE ZACHTASTIC!
A Zachbot puts bumblebees into a long tube leading the Zachdrone.
[Zach cackling, buzzing]
Martin struggles with a leaf in front of his face and then throws it away.
[Leaf rustling, buzzing, upbeat music plays]
In the Tortuga, Martin says, WHOAAA....HUH?
Chris says, HEY, THIS PLACE SEEMS KIND OF FAMILIAR.
They both say, THE TORTUGA?
Bumblez lands on a pink icing flower on Jimmy’s cake.
Chris asks, WHERE'S A FLOWER IN THE TORTUGA?
Martin jumps off the flower onto the top of the cake. He kicks icing off his boot.
[Martin grunting, squelching]
Martin says, HUH? UGH. WHAT'S THIS? THIS IS NO NATURAL FLOWER.
Martin dips his finger in the flower and tastes the icing.
[Slurping]
Martin says, IT'S AN ICING FLOWER.
[Martin gasping]
Martin says, ...ON JIMMY'S CAKE. OF COURSE!
A door opens, and Jimmy, Koki, and Aviva enter the room. Each has messy hair, and they slump.
[Door whooshing]
Aviva says, I CAN'T BELIEVE HE DID THAT.
Chris says, MARTIN, LOOK!
Martin shouts, WE'RE DOWN HERE!
Chris shouts, HEY, AVIVA!
Martin shouts, JIMMY! KOKI!
Aviva says, WE HAVE TO FIND THE BROS, SO WE CAN STOP ZACH!
Chris says, AH, THEY DON'T SEE US! WE KNOW BUMBLEZ ALWAYS GOES BACK TO HER NEST, SO LET'S WRITE THEM A MESSAGE TO MEET US THERE.
Martin says, GREAT IDEA!
[Chris grunting]
Chris says, YEAH!
Chris and Martin jump and slide in the icing.
[Martin chuckling, squelching, playful music plays]
Martin says, YEAH!

Martin says, C'MON, BUMBLEZ IS TAKING OFF!
Martin and Chris climb up on Bumblez’s back.
[Buzzing, upbeat music plays]
Chris shouts, HEY JIMMY, IT'S US. IT'S US! READ OUR MESSAGE!
Jimmy says, AAH!! A BEE! HEY, LOOK!
Jimmy reads, "WE'RE ON BEE. MEET AT LOG?"
Jimmy says, THOSE BUGS WROTE A MESSAGE IN MY ICING.
Koki says, THE BROS WERE ON THAT BEE. THEY MUST MEAN THAT LOG NEXT TO THE MINIATURIZER. LET'S GO!
[Buzzing]
Bumblez lands on the petals of a purple flower. Chris and Martin jump off.
Martin says, NICE LANDING, BUMBLEZ.
[Martin chuckling]
Chris says, OH YEAH!
Martin says, WHEN YOU CRAWL INTO A FLOWER, POLLEN GETS ALL OVER YOU.
[Scratching]
Chris says, HELPING SPREAD POLLEN FROM FLOWER TO FLOWER, SO THE PLANT CAN MAKE SEEDS AND NUTS.
Martin says, IT'S VERY IMPORTANT WORK, BUT BUMBLEZ, THEY'RE NOT GONNA SEE US IN HERE.
Koki says, THEY MUST BE AROUND THIS AREA SOMEWHERE.
Aviva kneels beside purple flowers and looks at them through a magnifying glass.
Aviva says, HMM... THERE YOU ARE!
Chris says, AVIVA, YOU FOUND US!
Chris and Martin ride on Bumblez’s back. She takes off.
[Buzzing]
Aviva says, I CAN'T HEAR YOU. LET ME PUT ON MY SOUND AMPLIFIER.
[Beeping]
Martin asks, CAN YOU HEAR US NOW?
Aviva says, LOUD AND CLEAR!
Martin says, GREAT! YOU'VE GOTTA PROGRAM US A BUMBLEBEE CREATURE POWER SUIT.
Chris says, ZACH IS SUCKING UP ALL THE BEES FROM THIS MEADOW. WE HAVE TO STOP HIM!
Aviva says, OKAY. GIVE ME YOUR OBSERVATIONS, AND I'LL GET RIGHT TO CREATURE POWER SUIT PROGRAMMING.
Martin says, BUMBLEBEES ARE AMAZING POLLINATORS.
Chris says, THEY HAVE THREE BODY PARTS. HEAD, THORAX, ABDOMEN.
Martin says, LITTLE WING FOR THEIR BIG BODY THAT MOVE IN SPECIAL PATTERNS TO FLY.
Chris says, HAVE POLLEN BASKETS ON THEIR BACK LEGS, TO CARRY...
Later, Aviva works on two power discs at a portable worktable.
[Electrical zapping, buzzing]
Aviva says, PROGRAMMING COMPLETE. TWO MINI BUMBLEBEE POWER DISCS!
Bumblez lands on the worktable. Aviva looks at Bumblez, Chris, and Martin through a magnifying room.
Chris says, INCREDIBLE!
Martin says, THANKS, AVIVA!
Martin and Chris say, INSERT BUMBLEBEE POWER DISCS. TOUCH BUMBLEZZZZZZZ. AND ACTIVATE BUMBLEBEE POWERS!
Martin and Chris change into a blue and a green bumblebee.
[Whirring]
Martin says, AH HA! BUMBLEBEE POWERS!
Martin and Chris fly away from the worktable.
[Whooshing, buzzing]
Chris says, TO THE CREATURE RESCUE!
Chris and Martin fly across the meadow to Zach’s aircraft.
[Buzzing]
Chris says, THERE HE IS!
Martin says, LET'S BUZZ!
They fly around Zach.
[Buzzing, energetic music plays]
Zach says, AHHH!!! HOSTILE BEES!
Chris and Martin fly quickly around Zach.
[Whooshing]
Martin says, IT'S US, ZACH.
Chris says, TELLING YOU TO LEAVE BUMBLEBEES ALONE.
[Martin chuckling]
Martin says, AND WE'LL BUG YOU UNTIL YOU DO!
Chris says, GOOD ONE BRO. WE'LL BUG YOU TIL YOU BUZZ OFF!
Zach says, BRING OUT THE BEE SWATTERS!
Bee swatters extend from the arms of the Zachbots. They swat at bumblebees flying past.
[Clicking, beeping, whirring, swooshing, buzzing, ominous music plays]
Chris says, A BEE'S SMALL SIZE MAKES THEM VULNERABLE.
Martin says, AND THEY NEED OUR HELP.
Chris says, BUT WE'RE THE SAME SIZE.
Martin says, OH YEAH. YIKES!
Chris says, EVASIVE MANEUVERS!
Chris and Martin dodge swatters.
Martin says, TINY BEES ARE ALWAYS THE UNDERDOGS! BUT WHAT IF WE HAD BEE POWERS, BUT BIGGER?
Chris says, YOU THINKING WHAT I'M THINKING?
Martin says, I THINK SO!
They land on the miniaturizer.
The Kratt brothers say, BIG SIZE!
Martin and Chris return to their regular height.
[Beeping]
Chris says, OH YEAH!
Chris takes off.
Martin says, SHOULD I GO A LITTLE BIGGER? HMM...
[Zach cackling]
Zach says, YES, GET ALL THE BUMBLEBEES!
[Zach cackling]
Chris hovers above Zach.
Chris says, HEY, ZACH. WHY DON'T YOU PICK ON SOMEBODY YOUR OWN SIZE?
Zach shouts, AAAH! ZACHBOTS PROTECT ME!
The Zachbots move closer to Zach.
Chris says, YOUR DAYS OF BEING A BUMBLEBEE BULLY ARE OVER.
Chris lands on a Zachbot’s face and rapidly flutters his wings.
[Clanking, buzzing, tense music plays]
Chris says, BUZZ POLLINATION POWERS!
Chris shakes the Zachbot, and the screws fall out of the robot’s arm.
[Clanging]
Zach says, WAIT! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
Chris lets go of the Zachbot, and it falls apart.
[Buzzing, clattering]
Chris says, FLY AWAY MY LITTLE BUMBLEBEE FRIENDS!
Chris opens a door on the vacuum on the arm of the Zachbot.
Chris lands on each of the Zachbots and shakes the screws loose. The Zachbots fall to pieces on the grass.
[Buzzing, clanging, clattering]
Chris says, YOUR ZACHBOTS ARE NO MATCH FOR BUMBLEBEE POWERS!
[Buzzing]
Zach says, WELL THEN, MEET MY NEWEST INVENTION! THE ZACHBOT DELIVERY DRONE, POWERED BY BUMBLEBEEZIES! AND IT'S BIGGER AND HAS DEFENSES, STRONGER THAN YOU, BEE BOY!
The drone flies out of the aircraft and hovers over Chris and Zach.
[Whirring, ominous music plays]
Chris says, WE'LL SEE ABOUT THAT. BUMBLEBEE POWERS TO THE CREATURE RESCUE!
Chris flies up and lands on the drone. He shakes it. The drone picks Chris up and flings him to the ground. The drone picks Chris up again and throws him away from Zach.
[Buzzing, clanking, thumping, slide whistles]
Chris says, YEOW...WHOA...UGH! WHOA! UGH!
Zach says, NOW TO GET THIS MAGAZINE DELIVERED TO DONITA.
The drone slams Chris against the ground.
[Thumping, whirring]
Chris says, WHOA...AH! UGH! MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE GONE A BIT BIGGER.
Martin asks, LIKE THIS?
Martin stands with his hands on his hips. Nearby trees reach his waist.
[Buzzing, Zach screaming]
Zach hides behind Chris.
Martin says, NO MORE BUMBLEBEE BULLYING IN THIS MEADOW. I'M STICKING UP FOR BUMBLEBEES! WITH THE BUZZING POWER OF BUZZ POLLINATION!
Martin grabs the drone and shakes it. Screws fall to the ground.
[Buzzing, clattering]
Martin opens the drone and frees the bumblebees. He reaches down and picks up Zach.
[Clicking, buzzing, rustling]
Zach says, WHOA!
[Buzzing, plinking, upbeat music plays]
Martin says, AND NOW OUR BUMBLEBEES CAN GO BACK TO COLLECTING POLLEN. AND TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR ALL OF US TO HAVE FLOWERS, FRUIT, PLANTS AND TREES IN OUR MEADOWS AND FORESTS. BROUGHT TO YOU BY OUR BUMBLEBEE BUDDIES!
Zach says, NOOOO!!
Martin puts Zach and the pieces of the Zachbots into the drone and closes it.
Martin says, YEAH. AND THE ONLY THING THAT THIS DRONE IS GOING TO DELIVER IS YOU TO YOUR SHIP AND OUT OF THIS MEADOW. BUT FIRST, YOU PROMISE NEVER TO BOTHER BUMBLEBEES AGAIN.
[Buzzing]
Zach says, I PROMISE NEVER TO BOTHER BUMBLEBEES AGAIN!
Martin says, OKAY.
Martin throws the drone into the aircraft and closes the ramp. He throws the aircraft into the sky.
[Clanking, whooshing]
Zach shouts, BUT I ONLY SAID BUMBLEBEES! NOT ANY OTHER ANIMALS!
[Upbeat music plays]
A bumblebee lands on a daisy in Aviva’s hand.
[Buzzing]
Aviva says, WELL, WE HELPED THE ENDANGERED BUMBLEBEE.
Koki says, ONE OF THE BEST NATIVE POLLINATORS IN NORTH AMERICA, WHO ARE STARTING TO DISAPPEAR, SO THEY REALLY NEED OUR HELP.
Chris says, LIVING FREE AND IN THE WILD!
Jimmy stands in the doorway of the Tortuga.
[Buzzing]
Jimmy says, HEY MARTIN, ARE YOU COMING IN FOR CAKE?
Martin lands on a flower.
Martin says, IN A SECOND, JIMMY. I'M BUSSSSYY BEING A BUMBLEBEE.

In reality, Martin and Chris stand behind waist-high flowers. Bees fly around them.

Martin says, SO A BUMBLEBEE IS AN AMAZING COOL CREATURE, WITH ALL SORTS OF INCREDIBLE CREATURE POWERS.
Chris says, AND THE BUMBLEBEES AND THE WILD FLOWERS DEPEND ON EACH OTHER FOR SURVIVAL.
Martin says, NOW HERE WE ARE IN A SOLAR FIELD, WHERE POLLINATING PLANTS HAVE BEEN PLANTED TO HELP BUMBLEBEES.
Long rows of solar panels cover a field.
Chris says, LET'S SEE WHO WE CAN FIND BUZZING AROUND HERE. THE ECHINACEA FLOWER. BUMBLEBEES LOVE ECHINACEA.
A bumblebee lands on a pink Echinacea flower.
Chris says OH YEAH! HERE COME THE BUMBLEBEES.
Martin says, AND IT'S JUST NOT ONE KIND OF BUMBLEBEE, THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT SPECIES OF BUMBLEBEES.
LOOK AT THIS. WE'VE GOT A TRICOLORED BUMBLEBEE. BLACK, YELLOW, ORANGE!
HERE'S ONE. TWO-SPOTTED BUMBLEBEE. TWO BLACK SPOTS IN THE YELLOW PATCH.
A large bumblebee has two black spots on their back.
Martin says, AND, OH YEAH, LOOK, A COMMON EASTERN BUMBLEBEE, WITH A MOSTLY BLACK ABDOMEN. THIS BEAUTIFUL WILDFLOWER IS BEE BALM. BUMBLEBEES LOVE THIS PLANT SO MUCH, A GREAT PLACE TO LOOK FOR 'EM.
[Buzzing]
Chris says, OH, CHECK IT OUT! ON THIS BEE, YOU CAN REALLY SEE THE POLLEN BASKETS. THEY'RE FULL OF POLLEN! ONLY FEMALES HAVE POLLEN BASKETS. THEY COLLECT POLLEN ON THEIR BODIES, BY WALKING AROUND ON THE FLOWER! LOOSE POLLEN GRAINS STICK TO THE BRISTLY BEE HAIR. THE BEE WILL COMB THE POLLEN OFF WITH ITS FRONT LEGS, AND WIPE IT ONTO HER GROWING POLLEN BASKET.
AND IF WE WANT THERE TO BE PLENTY OF POLLEN FOR THESE AMAZING CREATURES, THERE'S SOME EASY WAYS WE CAN HELP.
Chris drives a small pickup truck with potted flowers in the bed. He stops the truck, and Martin hops out of the truck bed.
[Motor rumbling, motor stops, upbeat music plays]
Martin says, YEAH! A GREAT WAY TO HELP THE ENDANGERED BUMBLEBEE, IS TO PLANT THE WILD FLOWERS THAT THEY LOVE.
Martin and Chris each take a potted flower from the pickup truck bed.
Chris says, AND I'VE GOT A BLUE CARDINAL LOBELIA.
[Chris chuckling]
Chris says, AND I'VE GOT A PRAIRIE CONEFLOWER. BUMBLEBEES LOVE THESE, AND WE'RE GOING TO PLANT THEM RIGHT HERE ON THE EDGE OF THE MEADOW.
Chris and Martin plant the flowers at the edge of the meadow.
[Rustling, upbeat music continues]
Chris says, READY FOR THOSE BEES! HEY, AND YOU CAN PLANT FLOWERS FOR BUMBLEBEES TOO.
Martin says, WATER COMING IN! WOOHOO!
Chris quickly jumps back from the flower, and Martin waters it.
[Water spraying, laughing]
Martin says, OH, YEAH!
Martin and Chris say, ACTIVATE BUMBLEBEE POWER!
They high-five.
[Hands slapping]
Martin says, PLANT IT, AND THEY WILL COME. KEEP ON CREATURE ADVENTURING!

HOW ABOUT THOSE HELICOPTER WINGS, BEATING ALMOST AS FAST AS A HUMMINGBIRD'S! AND THAT BRIGHT YELLOW COLOR. THAT'S A WARNING FOR BIRDS THAT THIS BUMBLEBEE PACKS A DEFENSIVE STING.
[Birds singing, buzzing]

Chris opens his backpack.

Chris says, YOU NEED AN ORGANIZED BACKPACK LIKE MINE! EVERYTHING IN ITS PLACE. BUT I DON'T HAVE THE ONE AND ONLY MINIATURIZER. YOU HAD THE MINIATURIZER LAST.
Martin says, OH, HERE IT IS!
Both say, THE MINIATURIZER!
Martin throws the miniaturizer on the ground. It expands, and he and Chris jump on top of it.

In the meadow, Chris and Martin run to an opening beneath the log and peer down.

Martin slides down the side of the opening. Chris jumps down.
Chris says, IT'S LIKE A CAVE.
A striped salamander eats a worm.
[Martin gasping, slurping]
Martin says, A SALAMANDER!
Chris says, WITH STRIPES!
Both say, A TIGER SALAMANDER! UH-OH!
The salamander chases the Kratt brothers.
[Tense music plays, slide whistle]

Martin jumps into a hole and lands on a cricket. He rides the cricket as it hops away.
[Whooshing, grunting]

Chris follows Martin. The salamander chases him.
Chris says, WAIT UP! WE GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE!
[Whooshing]
Martin says, WHOA! WHOAAAA!
Chris trips over a tree root.
[Slide whistle, grunting]
Chris says, OOF! UGH!
The cricket hops from beneath the log, carrying Martin towards bumblebees on flowers.
[Tense music continues, rustling]
Martin asks, HOW DO YOU TELL A CRICKET TO STOP?! WHOA! UGH!
Martin falls off the cricket.
[Buzzing, upbeat music plays]
Martin says, OH! HUH? THERE'S OUR GETAWAY!
Martin climbs onto a bumblebee.
[Grunting]
Martin says, CHRIS! C'MON, JUMP ON! WHERE'D HE GO?...CHRIS?!
Chris picks the contents of his backpack up off the ground.
Chris says, AHH... OH NO, MY STUFF!
The salamander looms over Chris.
[Loud stomping, Chris gasping, tense music plays]
Martin says, UH-OH, WE'RE TAKING OFF! CHRIS, WHERE ARE YOU?
[Buzzing]
Chris says, MARTIN...OVER HERE! AHHHHH!!!
Martin says, TO THE CHRIS RESCUE!
Chris says, AHH!
Martin says, GRAB ON, BRO!
Chris runs to the opening and jumps. Martin grabs his hand and pulls him up onto the bumblebee. The salamander snaps at him.
[Chris screams, buzzing, jaws whooshing]
Martin says, WHEW.
Chris says, OH HO! THANKS, MARTIN! I WAS ALMOST A SALAMANDER SNACK!
[Buzzing, upbeat music plays]
Martin asks, DO YOU REALIZE WHAT'S HAPPENING, BRO? WE ARE...RIDING A BUMBLEBEE! AN ENDANGERED BUMBLEBEE!
Chris says, YEAH! IT'S GETTING HARDER AND HARDER TO SEE BUMBLEBEES, BECAUSE THERE ARE FEWER AND FEWER OF THEM. MOSTLY BECAUSE OF POISON SPRAYED ON THE FLOWERS THEY FEED FROM. BUMBLEBEES COULD DISAPPEAR. WE HAVE TO HELP THE ENDANGERED BUMBLEBEES! BUT...WHERE AM I GOING TO PUT MY STUFF?
Chris holds his gear with two arms as he rides behind Martin.
Martin says, AW, JUST STUFF IT IN YOUR POCKETS.

Jimmy hides behind Koki.

Elsewhere in the meadow, Zach picks a red poppy and wears it on his turtleneck.

Zach walks to a Zachbot standing at the bottom of the boarding ramp of Zach’s aircraft.

[Short beep]

[Bumblebee buzzing]
Zach says, AHHH!...FREEZE. A BIG ANGRY BEE. DON'T MOVE! AH! TAKE ME INSIDE.
The Zachbot picks Zach up and carries him into the aircraft. It drops him on a chair in front of a screen.
[Whirring]
Zach says, OUCH!! HEY, NOT SO ROUGH!
Donita appears on the screen.
[Beeping, static hissing]

A bumblebee flies towards Zach, and he cringes.

Jimmy, Koki, and Aviva enter the Tortuga.
[Door whooshing]
Aviva asks, WHERE ARE THE BROTHERS?
Koki says, THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO BE HERE TO CELEBRATE OUR LUNCH FOR THE FIRST DAY OF SUMMER. JIMMY EVEN MADE A CAKE TO CELEBRATE.
Jimmy says, IT'S AN AMAZING CAKE WITH COLORFUL ICING FLOWERS.
In his aircraft, Zach gestures to a design on a screen. Three Zachbots stand in a semi-circle in front of him.
Zach says, SO I WILL POWER MY ZACHDRONE DELIVERY WITH BUMBLEBEES! THE DRONES HOLD THE PACKAGE HERE AND IT IS POWERED BY THE BUZZING BEES HERE!
On the screen, a Zachdrone picks up a package.
[Whirring, buzzing]
Zach says, UGH! BUT I NEED A LOT! GET OUT YOUR VACUUM ARMS, WE'RE GONNA COLLECT SOME BUZZY BEES!
A Zachbot holds up a vacuum arm.
[Evil cackling, whirring]
On the bumblebee, Chris says, WE SHOULD CALL THE GANG! BUT MY ARMS ARE TOO FULL! WHERE AM I GOING TO PUT ALL MY CREATURE STUFF?
[Buzzing, upbeat music plays]
Martin says, FORGET ABOUT THAT, CHRIS. REMEMBER, WE'RE RIDING A BUMBLEBEE!
Chris says, YEAH. OF COURSE, I KNOW THAT. LIKE ALL INSECTS, THE BUMBLEBEE HAS THREE MAIN BODY PARTS. YOU'VE GOT THE HEAD WITH THE EYES, ANTENNA AND MOUTHPARTS. THE THORAX, THAT'S WHERE YOU'RE SITTING MARTIN.
Martin says, THORAX, A VERY FUZZY THORAX!
Chris says, AND THE ABDOMEN, WHERE I AM. THE ABDOMEN'S FUZZY TOO.
Martin says, HMM, I WONDER WHY A BUMBLEBEE IS SO FUZZY?
Chris says, I LIKE HOW THE LEGS JUST HANG WHILE THEY FLY. WHAT'S THAT? THERE'S SOMETHING ON HER BACK LEG. OH, IT'S A POLLEN BASKET, WHERE A BEE COLLECTS POLLEN. OH! I CAN PUT ALL MY STUFF ON THERE, CAUSE IT'S STICKY.
Chris sticks his gear onto the pollen basket on the bumblebee’s back leg.
[Rustling, buzzing, gentle music plays]
Chris says, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, MY CREATURE POD. HEY, NOW I HAVE MY HANDS FREE! THAT'S MUCH BETTER. I CAN CHECK OUT THE WINGS. THEY ARE SO SMALL FOR A BIG BODY. THEY GO UP AND DOWN. IT'S AMAZING! THOSE WINGS CAN FLY SUCH A BIG BEE. THEY GO UP AND DOWN 200 TIMES A SECOND.
Martin says, AND THOSE WINGS BRING A BUMBLEBEE IN FOR A LANDING.
The bumblebee lands on a flower. Chris and Martin leap off the bee’s back.
[Whooshing]
Martin says, HEY, SEE ALL THIS POWDERY STUFF? IT'S STICKY!

[Scraping]

The bumblebee picks Chris’ gear off the basket and throws it.

The gear falls off a flower petal.

Martin takes out his blue creature pod. In the Tortuge, Koki sits beside a control panel. Martin appears on a screen.
[Beeping]
On the screen, Martin says, COME IN TORTUGA. BEE RIDER HERE. HELLO, TORTUGA!
Koki asks, HEY BROS, WHERE ARE YOU?
On the screen, Martin says, WELL, WE'RE...
[Buzzing, wind gusting]
On the screen, Martin and Chris shout, WHOA!!

Chris says, THE FLOWER IS RELEASING POLLEN.
On the screen, Martin and Chris shout, BUZZ POLLINATION!
Chris says, BY BUZZING HER WING MUSCLES IN A SPECIAL WAY, THE BEE CAUSES THE FLOWER TO RELEASE MORE POLLEN.
Martin says, OH AND POLLEN GETS EVERYWHERE. IT STICKS TO THE BEE'S FUZZY BODY TOO.

Martin says, UGH! I SAID...WE'RE- WHOOOA!
Martin’s creature pod blows out of his hand and falls off the flower.
[Wind gusting, slide whistle]
Chris says, AWWW! NOW WE CAN'T CONTACT THEM AT ALL! WE HAVE TO GET OUR CREATURE PODS.
[Gusting]
Martin says, NOT NOW, CHRIS. BUMBLEBEES ARE BUSY BEES. DON'T STAY ON FLOWERS LONG. BUZZING WINGS MEANS... SHE'S GONNA GO! C'MON! DON'T BE LEFT BEHIND. WE'RE BUZZING OFF!
Martin climbs up on the bumblebee’s back. Chris jumps up and grabs the bee’s back leg. He dangles as the bumblebee flies away from the flower.
[Chris grunting, buzzing, screaming]
Chris shouts, WHOA!
In the Tortuga, the screen turns to static.
[Static hissing, beeping]
Koki asks, DID YOU HEAR THAT BUZZING? MAYBE THEY ARE MINI-SIZED WITH SOME KIND OF INSECT.
Aviva asks, BUT WITH WHAT KIND OF BUZZING INSECT?
Koki says, CHECKING SOUND WAVE. SEARCHING DATABASE.
[Buzzing, typing]
Koki says, THAT BUZZING IS CREATED BY THE... BUMBLEBEE!
[Beeping, gentle music plays]
Aviva says, OKAY! SO NOW WE DO KNOW. THEY ARE ON A MINI-SIZE ADVENTURE WITH ENDANGERED BUMBLEBEES!

Aviva peers through binoculars and sees Zach by his aircraft. The three Zachbots move down the ramp to the grass.

The Zachbots chase bumblebees.
[Vacuum humming, whooshing]
A Zachbot vacuums Zach’s hair.

Zach pulls his head away from the vacuum, and his hair sticks up.
[Popping]

Martin says, SHE HAS TAKEN US TO THE NEST.

A large bumblebee climbs up the tallest honeycomb.
[Gasping, buzzing]
Chris and Martin bow and say, YOUR MAJESTY.
Martin says, WE BRING FRESH POLLEN AND NECTAR FROM YOUR KINGDOM OF FLOWERS.
Chris says, CARRIED BY YOUR LOYAL SERVANT, BUMBLEZ.
Bumblez flies to a honeycomb and scrapes the pollen off her leg.
[Buzzing, scraping, gentle music plays]
Martin says, NOW WHAT'S BUMBLEZ DOING?
[Buzzing]
Chris says, OF COURSE! A BUMBLEBEE CARRIES POLLEN AND NECTAR BACK TO THE NEST TO FEED THE QUEEN. THE QUEEN EATS AND DRINKS THEM AND THEN LAYS EGGS THAT HATCH INTO MORE BUMBLEBEE WORKERS. A BUMBLE COLONY HAS ONE QUEEN, AND BETWEEN 50 TO 500 WORKERS, WHO BRING HER POLLEN AND NECTAR TO EAT.
[Buzzing]
Martin says, THAT'S NOT A LOT OF WORKERS, SO EVERY ONE IS REALLY IMPORTANT. WE CAN'T LOSE ANY OF THESE ENDANGERED BUMBLEBEES. HUH?
The tiger salamander stands in the tunnel and licks their lips.
[Slurping]
Chris says, UH-OH. NOT GOING THAT WAY.
[Buzzing]
Martin says, C'MON! BUMBLEZ IS READY TO TAKE OFF.
Martin and Chris jump on Bumblez’s back, and she takes off.
[Upbeat music plays, buzzing]
In the meadow, Zachbots vacuum up bumblebees. Zach stands beneath a tree and watches.
[Whirring, upbeat music plays]
Zach says, I WANT MORE! MOOOORE!
[Cackling]
Zach says, COLLECT THEM ALL!
Martin says, OH NO. ZACH! AND THAT MEANS TROUBLE!
[Buzzing, whirring]
Bumblez lands on a purple flower close to Zach. A Zachbot vacuums a nearby bee off a flower and holds the vacuum over Bumblez.

Koki puts her hand over the vacuum.

Koki, Jimmy, and Aviva glare at Zach.
[Whirring]

Koki says, YOU CAN'T MAKE ALL THE BEES DISAPPEAR! LET ME BREAK IT DOWN FOR YOU, ZACH.

Koki says, BEES CARRY POLLEN FROM FLOWER TO FLOWER. POLLEN HAS TO GO FROM ONE FLOWER TO ANOTHER, FOR MOST PLANTS TO MAKE NUTS AND SEEDS. WITHOUT BEES, THERE WON'T BE NEW FLOWERS, GRASS, TREES, FRUITS...OR VEGETABLES.
[Buzzing, rustling, gentle music plays]
Koki turns her tablet and shows Zach an image of a barren landscape. Flowers droop beneath leafless trees.
Koki says, SO WITHOUT BEES, THIS MEADOW COULD LOOK LIKE THIS. EMPTY. LIFELESS. A BARREN WASTELAND.
Zach says, NICE PRESENTATION. BUT...I DON'T CARE!
Koki says, ARGH... MAYBE CHRIS AND MARTIN CAN GET THROUGH TO HIM.
Jimmy asks, WHERE ARE THE KRATT BROTHERS? MY CAKE ISN'T GONNA EAT ITSELF!
Zach says I DON'T KNOW. I HAVEN'T SEEN THEM...HAPPILY! AND I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU EITHER. REVERSE SUCTION! BLOW THEM AWAY!

A Zachbot puts bumblebees into a long tube leading the Zachdrone.

Martin struggles with a leaf in front of his face and then throws it away.

Bumblez lands on a pink icing flower on Jimmy’s cake.

Martin jumps off the flower onto the top of the cake. He kicks icing off his boot.

Martin says, BUMBLEBEES ARE AMAZING POLLINATORS.
Chris says, THEY HAVE THREE BODY PARTS. HEAD, THORAX, ABDOMEN.
Martin says, LITTLE WING FOR THEIR BIG BODY THAT MOVE IN SPECIAL PATTERNS TO FLY.
Chris says, HAVE POLLEN BASKETS ON THEIR BACK LEGS, TO CARRY...
Later, Aviva works on two power discs at a portable worktable.
[Electrical zapping, buzzing]
Aviva says, PROGRAMMING COMPLETE. TWO MINI BUMBLEBEE POWER DISCS!
Bumblez lands on the worktable. Aviva looks at Bumblez, Chris, and Martin through a magnifying room.
Chris says, INCREDIBLE!
Martin says, THANKS, AVIVA!
Martin and Chris say, INSERT BUMBLEBEE POWER DISCS. TOUCH BUMBLEZZZZZZZ. AND ACTIVATE BUMBLEBEE POWERS!
Martin and Chris change into a blue and a green bumblebee.
[Whirring]
Martin says, AH HA! BUMBLEBEE POWERS!
Martin and Chris fly away from the worktable.
[Whooshing, buzzing]
Chris says, TO THE CREATURE RESCUE!
Chris and Martin fly across the meadow to Zach’s aircraft.
[Buzzing]
Chris says, THERE HE IS!
Martin says, LET'S BUZZ!
They fly around Zach.
[Buzzing, energetic music plays]
Zach says, AHHH!!! HOSTILE BEES!
Chris and Martin fly quickly around Zach.
[Whooshing]
Martin says, IT'S US, ZACH.
Chris says, TELLING YOU TO LEAVE BUMBLEBEES ALONE.
[Martin chuckling]
Martin says, AND WE'LL BUG YOU UNTIL YOU DO!
Chris says, GOOD ONE BRO. WE'LL BUG YOU TIL YOU BUZZ OFF!
Zach says, BRING OUT THE BEE SWATTERS!
Bee swatters extend from the arms of the Zachbots. They swat at bumblebees flying past.
[Clicking, beeping, whirring, swooshing, buzzing, ominous music plays]
Chris says, A BEE'S SMALL SIZE MAKES THEM VULNERABLE.
Martin says, AND THEY NEED OUR HELP.
Chris says, BUT WE'RE THE SAME SIZE.
Martin says, OH YEAH. YIKES!
Chris says, EVASIVE MANEUVERS!
Chris and Martin dodge swatters.
Martin says, TINY BEES ARE ALWAYS THE UNDERDOGS! BUT WHAT IF WE HAD BEE POWERS, BUT BIGGER?
Chris says, YOU THINKING WHAT I'M THINKING?
Martin says, I THINK SO!
They land on the miniaturizer.
The Kratt brothers say, BIG SIZE!
Martin and Chris return to their regular height.
[Beeping]
Chris says, OH YEAH!
Chris takes off.
Martin says, SHOULD I GO A LITTLE BIGGER? HMM...
[Zach cackling]
Zach says, YES, GET ALL THE BUMBLEBEES!
[Zach cackling]
Chris hovers above Zach.
Chris says, HEY, ZACH. WHY DON'T YOU PICK ON SOMEBODY YOUR OWN SIZE?
Zach shouts, AAAH! ZACHBOTS PROTECT ME!
The Zachbots move closer to Zach.
Chris says, YOUR DAYS OF BEING A BUMBLEBEE BULLY ARE OVER.
Chris lands on a Zachbot’s face and rapidly flutters his wings.
[Clanking, buzzing, tense music plays]
Chris says, BUZZ POLLINATION POWERS!
Chris shakes the Zachbot, and the screws fall out of the robot’s arm.
[Clanging]
Zach says, WAIT! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
Chris lets go of the Zachbot, and it falls apart.
[Buzzing, clattering]
Chris says, FLY AWAY MY LITTLE BUMBLEBEE FRIENDS!
Chris opens a door on the vacuum on the arm of the Zachbot.
Chris lands on each of the Zachbots and shakes the screws loose. The Zachbots fall to pieces on the grass.
[Buzzing, clanging, clattering]
Chris says, YOUR ZACHBOTS ARE NO MATCH FOR BUMBLEBEE POWERS!
[Buzzing]
Zach says, WELL THEN, MEET MY NEWEST INVENTION! THE ZACHBOT DELIVERY DRONE, POWERED BY BUMBLEBEEZIES! AND IT'S BIGGER AND HAS DEFENSES, STRONGER THAN YOU, BEE BOY!
The drone flies out of the aircraft and hovers over Chris and Zach.
[Whirring, ominous music plays]
Chris says, WE'LL SEE ABOUT THAT. BUMBLEBEE POWERS TO THE CREATURE RESCUE!
Chris flies up and lands on the drone. He shakes it. The drone picks Chris up and flings him to the ground. The drone picks Chris up again and throws him away from Zach.
[Buzzing, clanking, thumping, slide whistles]
Chris says, YEOW...WHOA...UGH! WHOA! UGH!
Zach says, NOW TO GET THIS MAGAZINE DELIVERED TO DONITA.
The drone slams Chris against the ground.
[Thumping, whirring]
Chris says, WHOA...AH! UGH! MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE GONE A BIT BIGGER.
Martin asks, LIKE THIS?
Martin stands with his hands on his hips. Nearby trees reach his waist.
[Buzzing, Zach screaming]
Zach hides behind Chris.
Martin says, NO MORE BUMBLEBEE BULLYING IN THIS MEADOW. I'M STICKING UP FOR BUMBLEBEES! WITH THE BUZZING POWER OF BUZZ POLLINATION!
Martin grabs the drone and shakes it. Screws fall to the ground.
[Buzzing, clattering]
Martin opens the drone and frees the bumblebees. He reaches down and picks up Zach.
[Clicking, buzzing, rustling]
Zach says, WHOA!
[Buzzing, plinking, upbeat music plays]
Martin says, AND NOW OUR BUMBLEBEES CAN GO BACK TO COLLECTING POLLEN. AND TO MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR ALL OF US TO HAVE FLOWERS, FRUIT, PLANTS AND TREES IN OUR MEADOWS AND FORESTS. BROUGHT TO YOU BY OUR BUMBLEBEE BUDDIES!
Zach says, NOOOO!!
Martin puts Zach and the pieces of the Zachbots into the drone and closes it.
Martin says, YEAH. AND THE ONLY THING THAT THIS DRONE IS GOING TO DELIVER IS YOU TO YOUR SHIP AND OUT OF THIS MEADOW. BUT FIRST, YOU PROMISE NEVER TO BOTHER BUMBLEBEES AGAIN.
[Buzzing]
Zach says, I PROMISE NEVER TO BOTHER BUMBLEBEES AGAIN!
Martin says, OKAY.
Martin throws the drone into the aircraft and closes the ramp. He throws the aircraft into the sky.
[Clanking, whooshing]
Zach shouts, BUT I ONLY SAID BUMBLEBEES! NOT ANY OTHER ANIMALS!
[Upbeat music plays]
A bumblebee lands on a daisy in Aviva’s hand.
[Buzzing]
Aviva says, WELL, WE HELPED THE ENDANGERED BUMBLEBEE.
Koki says, ONE OF THE BEST NATIVE POLLINATORS IN NORTH AMERICA, WHO ARE STARTING TO DISAPPEAR, SO THEY REALLY NEED OUR HELP.
Chris says, LIVING FREE AND IN THE WILD!
Jimmy stands in the doorway of the Tortuga.
[Buzzing]
Jimmy says, HEY MARTIN, ARE YOU COMING IN FOR CAKE?
Martin lands on a flower.
Martin says, IN A SECOND, JIMMY. I'M BUSSSSYY BEING A BUMBLEBEE.
[Buzzing]
In reality, Martin and Chris stand behind waist-high flowers. Bees fly around them.
[Gentle music plays]
Martin says, SO A BUMBLEBEE IS AN AMAZING COOL CREATURE, WITH ALL SORTS OF INCREDIBLE CREATURE POWERS.
Chris says, AND THE BUMBLEBEES AND THE WILD FLOWERS DEPEND ON EACH OTHER FOR SURVIVAL.
Martin says, NOW HERE WE ARE IN A SOLAR FIELD, WHERE POLLINATING PLANTS HAVE BEEN PLANTED TO HELP BUMBLEBEES.
Long rows of solar panels cover a field.
Chris says, LET'S SEE WHO WE CAN FIND BUZZING AROUND HERE. THE ECHINACEA FLOWER. BUMBLEBEES LOVE ECHINACEA.
A bumblebee lands on a pink Echinacea flower.
Chris says OH YEAH! HERE COME THE BUMBLEBEES.
Martin says, AND IT'S JUST NOT ONE KIND OF BUMBLEBEE, THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT SPECIES OF BUMBLEBEES.
LOOK AT THIS. WE'VE GOT A TRICOLORED BUMBLEBEE. BLACK, YELLOW, ORANGE!
HERE'S ONE. TWO-SPOTTED BUMBLEBEE. TWO BLACK SPOTS IN THE YELLOW PATCH.
A large bumblebee has two black spots on their back.
Martin says, AND, OH YEAH, LOOK, A COMMON EASTERN BUMBLEBEE, WITH A MOSTLY BLACK ABDOMEN. THIS BEAUTIFUL WILDFLOWER IS BEE BALM. BUMBLEBEES LOVE THIS PLANT SO MUCH, A GREAT PLACE TO LOOK FOR 'EM.
[Buzzing]
Chris says, OH, CHECK IT OUT! ON THIS BEE, YOU CAN REALLY SEE THE POLLEN BASKETS. THEY'RE FULL OF POLLEN! ONLY FEMALES HAVE POLLEN BASKETS. THEY COLLECT POLLEN ON THEIR BODIES, BY WALKING AROUND ON THE FLOWER! LOOSE POLLEN GRAINS STICK TO THE BRISTLY BEE HAIR. THE BEE WILL COMB THE POLLEN OFF WITH ITS FRONT LEGS, AND WIPE IT ONTO HER GROWING POLLEN BASKET.
AND IF WE WANT THERE TO BE PLENTY OF POLLEN FOR THESE AMAZING CREATURES, THERE'S SOME EASY WAYS WE CAN HELP.
Chris drives a small pickup truck with potted flowers in the bed. He stops the truck, and Martin hops out of the truck bed.
[Motor rumbling, motor stops, upbeat music plays]
Martin says, YEAH! A GREAT WAY TO HELP THE ENDANGERED BUMBLEBEE, IS TO PLANT THE WILD FLOWERS THAT THEY LOVE.
Martin and Chris each take a potted flower from the pickup truck bed.
Chris says, AND I'VE GOT A BLUE CARDINAL LOBELIA.
[Chris chuckling]
Chris says, AND I'VE GOT A PRAIRIE CONEFLOWER. BUMBLEBEES LOVE THESE, AND WE'RE GOING TO PLANT THEM RIGHT HERE ON THE EDGE OF THE MEADOW.
Chris and Martin plant the flowers at the edge of the meadow.
[Rustling, upbeat music continues]
Chris says, READY FOR THOSE BEES! HEY, AND YOU CAN PLANT FLOWERS FOR BUMBLEBEES TOO.
Martin says, WATER COMING IN! WOOHOO!
Chris quickly jumps back from the flower, and Martin waters it.
[Water spraying, laughing]
Martin says, OH, YEAH!
Martin and Chris say, ACTIVATE BUMBLEBEE POWER!
They high-five.
[Hands slapping]
Martin says, PLANT IT, AND THEY WILL COME. KEEP ON CREATURE ADVENTURING!
Chris says, WE'LL SEE YOU ON THE CREATURE TRAIL!
Chris and Martin run into the forest.
[Energetic theme music plays]
