(soft music plays)

An animated slate shows a small cactus waking up in a pot. It reads "Clay succulent pots."

A close-up shot shows Laura's hands doing a craft against a white cloth.

In off, Laura says LET'S MAKE CLAY SUCCULENT POTS.
FIRST, GRAB SOME CLAY,
AND START BY WORKING THE CLAY
INTO YOUR HANDS.
BY WARMING UP THE CLAY,
IT MAKES IT EASIER
TO WORK WITH.
DO THIS FOR AS MANY COLOURS
AS YOU LIKE.
NEXT, I MIX SOME COLOURS
TOGETHER FOR FUN.
WORK THE COLOURS
INTO YOUR HANDS,
OR USE A ROLLING PIN.
FUN TIP: A PEN WORKS
JUST FINE, TOO.
FOR THIS POT,
I'M GOING TO ADD
A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT
COLOURED POLKA DOTS.
OOH, PRETTY.
NEXT, I'M GOING TO USE
A SMALL PLASTIC POT
TO HELP ME GET
THE SHAPE I WANT.
I'M PUTTING MY CLAY
OVER TOP OF THE POT,
AND THEN PINCHING TOGETHER
THE EDGES.
DON'T PRESS TOO HARD,
AS YOU'LL NEED TO REMOVE
THE PLASTIC POT
BEFORE BAKING.
NEXT, I'M ADDING SOME LEGS
AND A SHOOTING STAR.
NICE!
TIME TO WORK ON MY NEXT POT.
I LIKE CUTE CREATURES,
SO FOR THIS ONE,
I'M MAKING A LITTLE PINK
MONSTER.
THIS TIME, I ROLLED THE CLAY
INTO A BIG BALL
AND PRESSED MY THUMB DOWN
IN THE MIDDLE.
THEN I USED MY HANDS
TO MAKE THE SHAPE.
NEXT, I PINCHED TOGETHER
THE SIDES TO MAKE SOME EARS,
AND ADDED SOME ARMS,
FEET,
EYES,
AND A MOUTH.
CHECK IT OUT, MY MONSTER
IS LOOKING SUPER CUTE.
FOR MY LAST POT,
I WANTED TO MAKE AN ANIMAL,
AND SINCE SUCCULENTS
ARE KIND OF SPIKY,
I THOUGHT I'D GO WITH
A SPIKY ANIMAL.
THAT'S RIGHT,
A HEDGEHOG.
I ADDED EYES, A NOSE,
AND SOME ROSY CHEEKS.
NOW THEY'RE READY
TO BE BAKED.
FOR THIS PART, YOU'LL NEED YOUR
PARENT OR GUARDIAN'S HELP.
HAVE THEM FOLLOW THE BAKING
INSTRUCTIONS ON YOUR CLAY,
AND THEN LET THEM SIT OVERNIGHT
TO FULLY HARDEN.

The two finished pots sit on a tray.

She continues LASTLY,
ADD IN YOUR SUCCULENT,
AND YOU'RE DONE.
WHAT!?
I LOVE HOW THESE TURNED OUT.
THEY ARE SO CUTE,
THEY MIGHT BE MY FAVOURITE
CRAFT I'VE EVER DONE.
SUCCULENTS ARE
A TYPE OF PLANT
THAT STORE WATER
IN THEIR LEAVES.
THIS MAKES THEM EASY
TO TAKE CARE OF
BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE TO
WATER THEM THAT OFTEN.
YOU CAN FIND SUCCULENTS
AT YOUR LOCAL PLANT STORE.
JUST MAKE SURE YOU FIND A NICE,
SUNNY SPOT TO KEEP IT.
I HOPE YOU LOVED THIS CRAFT
AS MUCH AS I DID.

She places the hedgehog pot on a bookshelf.

She concludes TRY IT OUT YOURSELF
AT HOME.
SEE YOU LATER,
TVOKIDS.
