An animated sun shines. Mandisa waves beside a tree. Mandisa has black hair held back with a headband and wears denim overalls over a peach t-shirt.
An animated owl and ladybug move around Mandisa. Mandisa holds a hand puppet crafted out of a paper bag and a cardboard robot.

Mandisa sits at a table in a playroom with two children. One child has short black hair, and the other child has brown hair tied up in a bun.
Mandisa asks, HAVE YOU GUYS EVER SEEN A UNICORN?
Both children shout, YEAH!
Mandisa holds up a crafted hand-puppet.
Mandisa says, MEET MY UNICORN PUPPET. HE HAS A SPARKLY HORN AND RAINBOW HAIR. WOULD YOU LIKE TO CRAFT A UNICORN OF YOUR OWN?
The children shout, YEAH!
Mandisa says, LET'S GET WHAT WE NEED.
(Music playing)
Mandisa and the children stand up. They hurry around the room, gathering craft supplies.
Mandisa narrates, WE'RE GOING TO NEED GOLD FOAM SHEETS. SOME CONSTRUCTION PAPER.
SCISSORS AND COLOURFUL YARN. MARKERS AND GLUE STICKS.
(Music playing)
Mandisa and the children sit back at the table with the craft supplies in front of them.
Mandisa says, SO FIRST, WHAT SHALL WE USE TO MAKE OUR UNICORN'S HEAD?
The brown-haired child says, WE NEED PURPLE PAPER.
Mandisa says, THAT'S RIGHT.
Mandisa helps the children fold purple construction paper.
Mandisa says, FOLD IN THE SHORTER SIDE. FOLD IT IN. FOLD THAT SIDE IN. GOOD. AND THEN FOLD IN THE BIGGER SIDE. AWESOME! AND YOU'RE GOING TO GLUE THE BIGGER SIDE DOWN. GLUE YOUR PAPER DOWN. NEXT, YOU'RE GOING TO FOLD YOUR PIECE OF PAPER IN HALF.
(Music playing)
The children fold the construction paper.
Mandisa says, AND THEN YOU'RE GOING TO FOLD ONE HALF BACK.
(Music playing)
The children fold the paper into a square.
Mandisa says, AND THEN YOU'RE GOING TO TURN IT OVER AND DO THE SAME THING TO THE OTHER SIDE. GOOD JOB. AND YOU'RE GOING TO TAPE IT DOWN RIGHT THERE. GOOD.
NOW YOU CAN PUT YOUR HAND INSIDE AND YOU CAN MAKE YOUR PUPPET TALK.
(Chiming)
The children move the puppets.
Mandisa says, JUST LIKE THAT. NOW WE ARE GOING TO GLUE IN YOUR UNICORN'S TONGUE.
The brown-haired child says, TONGUE!
The black-haired child says, I WANT TO GLUE THE TONGUE.
The children use glue sticks on circles of red paper.
Mandisa says, AND WE HAVE TO ADD THE UNICORN'S...
The brown-haired child says, EARS!
Mandisa says, YOU CAN GLUE YOUR INNER EARS ONTO YOUR PURPLE EARS.
The children glue small pieces of pink paper onto purple paper.
The brown-haired child says, LOOK AT! EARS ON.
Mandisa says, NOW IT'S TIME TO MAKE OUR UNICORN'S...
The black-haired child shouts, EYES!
Mandisa puts a small bowl on the table.
Mandisa says, WHITE CIRCLES HERE FOR YOUR EYES AND A LITTLE BLACK CIRCLE.
The black-haired child says, HELP ME?
Mandisa says, I WILL, I'LL HOLD IT FOR YOU.
The children glue white and black circles together to make eyes.
(Music playing)
The brown-haired child says, HER EYES ARE SILLY, LOOK.
Mandisa says, OH, I LOVE IT, PIPER.
(Laughs)
Animated eyes appear on the table.
(Xylophone scale)
Mandisa says, WE'RE GOING TO GIVE OUR UNICORN TWO LITTLE NOSTRILS. CAN YOU DO THAT WITH YOUR MARKER?
The children use black markers.
Mandisa says, OK, I HAVE SOME RAINBOW YARN HERE THAT WE CAN USE FOR OUR UNICORN'S MANE. WE'RE GOING TO GLUE THOSE TO THE TOP OF YOUR UNICORN'S HEAD. YOU CAN STICK YOURS ON.
Piper holds up a puppet.
Piper says, NOW MINE.
(Music playing)
Mandisa helps the children glue yarn onto the puppets.
Mandisa asks, WHAT'S THE LAST THING WE NEED?
Piper says, A HORN!
Mandisa says, GLITTERY HORN, FOR YOU TO STICK ONTO YOUR UNICORN.
Mandisa gives the children triangles of paper covered in gold glitter.
Mandisa asks, SHOULD WE PUT ON OUR UNICORN HAND PUPPETS?
Mandisa makes her puppet “talk.”
Mandisa says, HI.
The black-haired child says, HI!
Mandisa says, HOW ARE YOU?
Piper says, HELLO!
Mandisa says, I'M GOING TO STICK OUT MY TONGUE.
Mandisa and the children open the “mouths” of their puppets.
All say, AHH!
Piper says, LET'S GO FOR A NATURE HIKE.
Mandisa says, I LOVE THAT IDEA!
Mandisa and the children move the puppets over the table.
