An animated sun shines brightly as a plane flies through the sky. An owl sits on a tree branch beside host Mandisa, who waves. Mandisa has black hair held back by a headband and wears denim overalls over a peach t-shirt.

An animated ladybug lands on a flower beside Mandisa. A bus drives down a street as Mandisa walks down a path. Mandisa wears a fox hand puppet crafted out of a paper bag and holds a cardboard robot. Mandisa smiles.

A title reads, Curious Crafting.

Mandisa sits at a table in a playroom. She wears a green headband and denim overalls over a brown shirt. Children sit at the table on either side of Mandisa. One has long brown hair in braided pigtails and the other has short brown hair. Mandisa wears a paper bag zebra on her left hand.

Mandisa says, I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU.
WHAT LOOKS LIKE A HORSE BUT HAS
BLACK AND WHITE STRIPES?

The long haired child says, A ZEBRA!

The short haired child says, A ZEBRA!

Mandisa says, THAT'S RIGHT.
KIND OF LIKE THIS ONE.

Mandisa gestures to her zebra craft.

She asks, WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE A ZEBRA
PUPPET OF YOUR OWN?

Both children say, YEAH!

Mandisa says, OK, LET'S GO GET OUR SUPPLIES.

The short haired child says, YEAH.

Mandisa and the children leave the table. The children collect craft supplies.

Mandisa narrates, YOU'RE GOING TO NEED A
WHITE PAPER BAG,
BLACK PAINT AND SPONGES.
WHITE CHALK.
A BLACK OVAL AND RECTANGLE.
WHITE AND PINK EARS.
GLUE AND SCISSORS.

Mandisa sits at the table with the children and their crafting supplies.

Mandisa says, OK, TIME TO MAKE OUR ZEBRA.
WE HAVE A PAPER BAG FOR
THE BODY.
SOME CONSTRUCTION PAPER
FOR THE EARS.

Mandisa holds ear shaped paper cut outs.

She says, AND WHAT COLOUR ARE
ZEBRA STRIPES?

The long haired child says, UH, BLACK!

Mandisa says, THAT'S RIGHT.
I HAVE SOME BLACK PAINT HERE.
AND WE'RE GOING TO USE A SPONGE
TO GIVE YOUR ZEBRA SOME STRIPES.
JUST DIP YOUR SPONGE INTO
THE PAINT.

Mandisa helps the long haired child dip a sponge into a plate of black paint. The other child dips a sponge into their own plate of paint.

Mandisa says, GOOD JOB, JACKSON.

The children paint stripes on their white paper bags.

Mandisa says, AND YOU CAN ALSO GIVE YOUR
ZEBRA'S EARS SOME STRIPES.

The long haired girl says, THEY'RE BIG.

The long haired child paints on another black zebra stripe. Jackson, the short haired child, paints stripes on his paper bag.

The long haired child says, DID IT.

Jaxon says, ALL DONE.

Mandisa says, WHILE WE LET OUR ZEBRAS DRY,
LET'S MAKE THE...

Mandisa points to a part of her zebra.

The long haired child says, MANE.

Mandisa says, THAT'S RIGHT.
HERE'S SOME CONSTRUCTION PAPER
THAT WE CAN USE TO MAKE OUR
ZEBRA'S MANE.

Mandisa helps the children make small, short cuts into a strip of black paper.

Mandisa says, GOOD CUTTING JAXON.
GREAT!
THERE'S YOUR ZEBRA'S MANE.

Jaxon says, MANE.

Mandisa says, TIME TO PUT OUR ZEBRAS TOGETHER.

The long haired child cheers, YEAH!

Mandisa says, FIRST, I HAVE THE PINK PART OF
OUR EARS.

Mandisa hands each of the children pink paper cut outs.

Mandisa says, GLUE THE PINK PART INTO
YOUR EARS.

The children glue the pink cut outs onto white paper cut outs in the shape of zebra ears.

Mandisa says, WE CAN TURN YOUR PUPPET OVER.
AND THEN YOU CAN GLUE YOUR MANE
TO THE BACK.

The long haired child glues their main onto the back of their paper bag at the top.

Mandisa says, GOOD JOB.

The long haired child says, HAH!

They hold up their zebra craft.

The child says, A PUPPET!

Mandisa says, YEAH.

Jaxon glues his mane to the back of his paper bag. Mandisa holds up her craft.

She asks, WHAT ELSE DO WE NEED TO ADD?

The long haired child says, NOSE AND THE FACE.

Mandisa says, THAT'S RIGHT.
AND YOU GET TO DRAW ONE ON THESE
PIECES OF CONSTRUCTION PAPER.

Mandisa hands each of the children black oval shaped construction paper cut outs.

Jaxon cheers, YEAH!

Mandisa says, YOU CAN USE A CRAYON TO DRAW A
MOUTH AND A NOSE.
ABBEY, ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE YOUR
ZEBRA SMILING?

Abbey, the long haired child, draws on their paper cut out with a white crayon.

Jaxon asks, CAN YOU DRAW
IT FOR ME?

Jaxon hands Mandisa his crayon. Abbey holds up her paper cut out.

She says, LOOK.

Jaxon draws a smile on his paper cut out.

Mandisa says, YOU DID IT!

She smiles at Jaxon.

Mandisa says, OK, NOW WE CAN ADD SOME...

Abbey says, …GOOGLY EYES!

She picks googly eyes from a bowl Mandisa holds.

Mandisa says, THE GOOGLY EYES.

Jaxon picks a googly eye from the bowl.

He says, A BIG ONE.

Mandisa says, SO YOU CAN USE GLUE TO ATTACH
YOUR EYES TO YOUR PUPPET.

Mandisa helps the children glue their googly eyes to their zebra puppets. Abbey holds up her zebra.

Mandisa asks, ARE YOU PROUD OF YOUR ZEBRA?

Abbey says, MMM, HMMM.

Jaxon puts his puppet on his hand.

Mandisa says, WOW.
YOUR ZEBRA LOOKS SO GREAT, ABBY.

Abbey wears her puppet on her hand.

Mandisa says, GOOD JOB.

Jaxon says, HI!

Abbey says, HI.
I HAVE PINK EYES.

Jaxon says, I HAVE BLACK ONES.

Mandisa wears her zebra puppet on her hand.

She says, DO YOU THINK OUR ZEBRAS CAN
BE FRIENDS?

Abbey says, YEAH.

Mandisa says, HI!

Jaxon says, I'M OPEA.

Mandisa says, HI OPEA.
