A puppet fox and a cardboard robot jump into Mandisa’s hands while a giraffe leaps out from behind a bush.

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple crayons streak across the screen.

Mandisa sits at a green table in a colourful craft room. Behind her, a purple wall features a pink flamingo with a very long neck. Crafts, markers, and crafting tools are displayed on shelves on the other walls.

A girl with long dark hair tied up in tails looks up at Mandisa. She wears a red sweater and a white headband. On Mandisa’s left side, a boy with shaved dark hair rubs his hand on the table. He wears a red and white long-sleeved shirt.

Mandisa says,
THOSE CUPCAKES WERE DELICIOUS.
INSTEAD OF THROWING AWAY THE
CUPCAKE LINERS,
WE CAN MAKE A CRAFT OUT OF THEM.
I THINK I MIGHT HAVE
ONE RIGHT HERE.

Mandisa colds up a colourful paper fish with a googly eye.

She asks,
DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS?

The boy with shaved dark hair shouts,
A FISH!

Mandisa replies,
THAT'S RIGHT.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE ONE?

The boy with shaved dark hair answers,
YEAH!

The girl with long dark hair nods.

Mandisa says,
OK, LET'S GO GET WHAT WE NEED.

The kids run around the room and collect crafting supplies. They rush back to the table.

Mandisa says,
WE'RE GOING TO NEED MINI
CUPCAKE LINERS,
GOOGLY EYES,
A BOWL OF WATER AND GLUE STICKS,
PAPER PLATES, BOTTLE OF GLUE,
CONSTRUCTION PAPER,
WATER COLOURS AND A PAINTBRUSH.

Mandisa sits with the kids at the table. Crafting supplies lay in front of them.

Mandisa asks,
WHAT WOULD MAKE A GOOD BODY OF
OUR FISH?

The boy with shaved dark hair answers,
A PLATE.

Mandisa says,
A PLATE, THAT'S RIGHT, A
PAPER PLATE.
AND I'VE GOT SOME
WATERCOLOURS HERE
THAT YOU CAN USE TO COLOUR
YOUR FISH.

The kids dip their paintbrushes in watercolour paints and paint their paper plates.

Mandisa says,
A LITTLE BOTTLE OF WATER HERE
THAT YOU CAN USE TO ADD SOME
COLOUR TO YOUR FISH.
CHLOE, I SEE YOU'RE USING LOTS
OF YELLOW.
IS THAT YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR?

Chloe, the girl with long dark hair, nods.

She replies,
I LIKE PINK.
I PAINTED LOTS OF BLUE.

Mandisa says,
YOU DID, THE BLUE LOOKS
REALLY NICE.
ALL RIGHT.
WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO PUT
THE BLUE?

The boy with shaved dark hair answers,
HERE.

Mandisa replies, OK, GO FOR IT.

The boy with shaved dark hair paints the edges of his paper plate in light blue.

(Scissors cutting)

Pink scissors cut through green paper.

Mandisa says,
NOW IT'S TIME TO MAKE THE...

The boy with shaved dark hair shouts,
MOUTH!

Mandisa says,
I HAVE A PAIR OF SCISSORS HERE,
AND I'M GOING TO CUT A LITTLE
TRIANGLE
TO MAKE THE MOUTH.

Mandisa cuts a mouth out of a paper plate.

Mandisa says,
WE ARE ALSO GOING TO USE THAT
TRIANGLE AS THE FISH'S...

The boy with dark shaved hair shouts,
TAIL!

Mandisa says,
THAT'S RIGHT.
BUT FIRST, WHAT ARE WE GOING
TO USE
FOR OUR SCALES ON OUR FISH?

The boy with dark shaved hair answers,
CUPCAKE LINER.

Mandisa says,
THAT'S RIGHT.
I HAVE SOME COLOURFUL CUPCAKE
LINERS HERE.
CHLOE, WOULD YOU LIKE TO CHOOSE
SOME CUPCAKE LINERS?
CHOOSE A WHOLE BUNCH.

Chloe picks colourful cupcake liners out of a yellow bowl.

Mandisa asks,
WHAT COLOURS ARE YOU CHOOSING?

The boy with dark shaved hair answers,
YELLOW.

Mandisa says,
YELLOW.
PUT LOTS OF GLUE.

Chloe glues her cupcake liners to her paper plate.

Mandisa says,
GOOD JOB SEBASTIAN.
THE BEST WAY TO ADD YOUR
CUPCAKE LINERS
IS TO PUT THE GLUE ONTO YOUR
PAPER PLATE.
GOOD.

Sebastian, the boy with shaved dark hair, glues yellow cupcake liners to his paper plate.

Googly eyes look at Chloe and Sebastian’s fish.

Mandisa asks,
DO YOU THINK YOU NEED TO ADD
ANYTHING ELSE?

Chloe answers, A TAIL.

Mandisa says,
OK WE'RE GOING TO TURN
OUR FISH OVER
AND YOU CAN GLUE IT ONTO THIS
SIDE LIKE THAT.
YOU CAN ADD SOME GLUE
RIGHT UP HERE.
AND YOU CAN ADD ONE FIN THERE.
AND THE BOTTOM FIN RIGHT THERE.
ALL RIGHT.
GOOD JOB.
ALL RIGHT...

Sebastian says, NOW THE EYES.

Mandisa replies,
THAT'S RIGHT, SEBASTIAN.
THE LAST THING WE NEED TO ADD IS
OUR EYEBALL.
DO YOU WANT TO CHOOSE ONE
EYEBALL?

Sebastian answers, I'LL USE A BIG EYE.

A green crayon makes a check mark.

Chloe glues her googly eye onto her fish.

Mandisa replies,
A BIG EYE.
THAT LOOKS GREAT, YOU GUYS, WOW.
NOW MY FISH HAS SOME FRIENDS TO
SWIM WITH.
LET'S GO FOR A SWIM.

Mandisa, Chloe, and Sebastian wave their fish in the air.

Sebastian says,
LET'S PLAY HIDE AND SEEK.

Mandisa replies,
LET'S PLAY HIDE AND SEEK OK.

The dinosaur, the penguin, the robot, the fox, the giraffe, and the owl smile in the park. The school bus travels down the road.
