A paper bag fox hops onto show host Mandisa’s hand. Mandisa has black hair held back by a headband and wears denim overalls over a peach t-shirt. She stands against an animated background. A cardboard robot lands beside Mandisa. Mandisa holds the robot and smiles.
A title reads, Curious Crafting.
Mandisa sits at a table in a playroom. She wears a colourful headband with a green shirt under denim overalls. Children sit on either side of Mandisa. One of the children has long curly brown hair and the other has short brown hair.
Mandisa says, ONE OF MY FAVOURITE ANIMALS
IS A GIRAFFE.
WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT GIRAFFES?
The curly haired child says, GIRAFFES HAVE
LONG NECKS.
Mandisa says, THAT'S RIGHT.
THEY HAVE LONG NECKS!
She pulls out a giraffe craft. A paint brush reveals supplies on the craft table.
Mandisa narrates, YOU CAN MAKE THIS CRAFT AT HOME.
GLUE YELLOW CONSTRUCTION PAPER
TO A CARDBOARD TUBE.
She rolls a large cardboard tube onto a piece of yellow paper covered in glue.
Mandisa narrates, GLUE A BROWN MOUTH TO A
YELLOW CIRCLE.
GLUE ON GOOGLY EYES AND
THE EARS.
She glues yellow ear cut outs to the back of a yellow paper circle with a brown mouth cut out and googly eyes.
Mandisa narrates, GLUE SMALL BROWN CIRCLES TO TWO
THIN BROWN STRIPS
FOR THE OSSICONES.
She glues her ossicones to the back of the paper.
Mandisa says, USE A BLACK MARKER
TO GIVE THE GIRAFFE A
SMILE AND NOSE.
She spreads glue onto the back of the giraffe’s head.
Mandisa narrates, GLUE ON THE HEAD ON TOP OF THE
CARDBOARD TUBE.
TAKE A SPONGE STAMPER OR Q-TIP,
AND MAKE DOTS ALL OVER YOUR
CARDBOARD TUBE.
She stamps brown dots over her giraffe. She stands up her giraffe on the table.
Mandisa narrates, WOW, YOUR GIRAFFE IS COMPLETE.
Scissors cut through paper and reveal Mandisa and the kids playing with their giraffe crafts.
Mandisa says, OH LOOK HOW TALL MY GIRAFFE IS.
MY LONG, LONG NECK.
