A paper bag fox hops onto show host Mandisa’s hand. Mandisa has black hair held back by a headband and wears denim overalls over a peach t-shirt. She stands against an animated background. A cardboard robot lands beside Mandisa. Mandisa holds the robot and smiles.

A title reads, Curious Crafting.

Mandisa sits at a table in a playroom. She wears a colourful headband and a light green shirt under denim overalls. Children sit on either side of Mandisa. One has short brown hair and the other has long brown hair. Mandisa and the children briefly wave their arms like wings.

Mandisa says, I HAVE THESE EXTRA
COFFEE FILTERS,
AND I DON'T WANT TO
THROW THEM AWAY.
HMMM, MAYBE WE CAN MAKE A CRAFT
OUT OF THEM.

Mandisa pulls out a butterfly craft.

She says, LIKE THIS ONE?

The long haired child says, YEAH!

Craft supplies are laid out on a table. Mandisa draws four straight lines in the shape of a snowflake across a coffee filter, creating 8 triangles.

She narrates, TO MAKE THIS CRAFT AT HOME,
COLOUR TWO COFFEE FILTERS WITH
WASHABLE MARKERS.

Mandisa fills in the triangles on the coffee filters with different colours from the centre out.

She narrates, PLACE THE COFFEE FILTERS IN A
SHALLOW DISH
AND SPRAY WITH A SMALL
AMOUNT OF WATER
UNTIL THE COLOURS
START TO BLEED.

The colours of a wet coloured coffee filter begin to bleed in a small dish. Mandisa picks up a paint brush.

She narrates, TAKE A CLOTHESPIN AND PAINT IT.

Mandisa paints a clothes pin red.

She narrates, FOLD THE COFFEE FILTERS LIKE
AN ACCORDION,
AND PLACE EACH INSIDE OF THE
CLOTHESPIN.

Mandisa folds one of her coffee filters like an accordion. She clips the clothespin over the centre of the folded coffee filter. She folds her second coffee filter the same way and adds it to the clothespin. Mandisa gently releases the folds in the coffee filters on either side of the clothespin.

Mandisa narrates, GRAB A PIPE CLEANER, FOLD
IT IN HALF,
AND CURL THE ENDS AROUND
YOUR FINGER.

Mandisa curls the ends of a folded blue pipe cleaner.

She narrates, ATTACH THE PIPE CLEANER TO
THE CLOTHESPIN.

Mandisa clips the clothespin to the folded end of the pipe cleaner.

She narrates, YOUR BUTTERFLY IS COMPLETE.

The long haired child holds a butterfly coffee filter craft by the craft’s clothespin.

Mandisa says, LET'S FLY IN THE GARDEN.

Mandisa and the children play with their butterflies.

The short haired child says, MY NAME IS
JACKSON.

Mandisa says, OH HELLO JACKSON.
