Mandisa sits on small stool by a small round table. She wears a pink long-sleeved shirt with light blue denim overalls. A boy with short black hair and a long-sleeved green shirt sits to her right. A girl with long dark brown hair and a long-sleeved purple shirt sits to her left.
[Upbeat music plays]
Mandisa says, WHO WANTS
TO MAKE A CRAFT?
The boy raises his hand.
The boy says, ME.
Mandisa smiles as the boy and girl gather craft supplies.
Mandisa says, RIGHT, A CUTE
LITTLE LADYBUG.
Mandisa holds a red paper ladybug.
[Scissors snip]
Mandisa says, TRY MAKING
THIS CRAFT AT HOME.
CUT OUT TWO CIRCLES FROM
RED CONSTRUCTION PAPER.
FOLD THE CIRCLES IN HALF
AND GLUE THEM IN THE MIDDLE,
LEAVING THE TOP HALF UNGLUED.
GLUE BLACK DOTS ALL OVER
YOUR LADYBUG.
Mandisa affixes round black circles of construction paper to her ladybug.
She says, GLUE SIX THIN BLACK
LEGS TO THE UNDERSIDE OF
YOUR LADYBUG.
GLUE THE ANTENNAE AND TWO
SMALL BLACK DOTS TO YOUR
LADYBUG'S HEAD.
ADD GOOGLY EYES.
GLUE ON THE HEAD TO THE
TOP OF YOUR LADYBUG.
THE LITTLE LADYBUG
IS COMPLETE.
Mandisa asks, SHOULD WE
TAKE THEM FOR A WALK?
The boy and girl play with completed ladybugs.
The girl says, YEAH.
Mandisa says, OKAY, LET'S GO. WOO!
[Whooshing]
