Mandisa asks, DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU CAN USE AN OLD SALAD SPINNER TO MAKE A REALLY COOL CRAFT?
The red-haired child says, YEAH.
Mandisa holds up a crafter picture of a lion.
(Growling)
Mandisa asks, WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE ONE?
The children shout, YEAH!
(Music playing)
Mandisa squeezes paint bottles into a salad spinner.
Mandisa narrates, YOU CAN MAKE THIS CRAFT AT HOME. CUT OUT A WHITE CIRCLE AND PUT IT INSIDE AN OLD SALAD SPINNER. ADD ORANGE AND YELLOW PAINT. PUT THE LID ON AND SPIN. REMOVE THE PAPER AND SET IT ASIDE TO DRY. GLUE DOWN YOUR LION'S CONSTRUCTION PAPER BODY AND TAIL. PUT TOGETHER THE HEAD WITH EARS, GOOGLY EYES, DRAW ON A NOSE, MOUTH AND WHISKERS. GLUE THAT TO YOUR LION'S MANE AND GLUE THAT TO YOUR LION'S BODY.
Mandisa glues the lion onto a white paper.
Mandisa narrates, CUT OUT SOME GREEN GRASS. FOLD IT BACK. AND GLUE IT DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF YOUR LION. ROAR! YOUR LION IS COMPLETE.
(Music playing)
Mandisa and the children hold completed crafts.
Mandisa says, LET'S TAKE OUR LIONS OUT TO THE FOREST.
The children move the lions.
The black-haired child says, WE'RE HERE THROUGH THE FOREST.
(Laughter)
