Tom says, HI, I'M TOM, AND IT'S RAINING A LOT TODAY.

(Raining)

Through a window, grey clouds fill the sky and blue water rises. A black and white duck swims by.

(Quacking)

The duck says, I'M JUST FLOATING PAST THE WINDOW HERE. I BET YOU WISH YOU COULD FLOAT.

Mr. Fullerman asks, DO YOU NEED SOMETHING TO DO, TOM?

Mr. Fullerman holds up a paper with a crossword puzzle on it.

Tom says, NO, SIR. I'M DOING SOME DRAWING.

Mr. Fullerman says, OH, WELL DONE, TOM. NORMAN, NO DANCING ON THE TABLE!

Marcus sits at a desk next to Tom. He leans closer.

Marcus says, YOU WEREN'T DRAWING. YOU JUST MADE THAT UP.

Tom says, I AM DRAWING. LOOK.

(Hums a tune)

Tom puts a roll of masking tape on a white page. Inside the circle of the tape he draws two eyes, a nose and a mouth. He adds curly hair. The drawing looks like Marcus.

She draws bushy eyebrows sprouting up from the pens.

Liz asks, NOW DO YOU KNOW? REMIND YOU OF ANYONE YET?

She adds eyes below the pens.

Tom says, GOT IT! THANKS, LIZ.

Liz says, IT'S MR KEEN, TOM'S HEADMASTER, AND HE'S GOT REALLY, REALLY BUSHY EYEBROWS. MIGHT MAKE THEM BIGGER IN A MINUTE.

Liz fills in the rest of the face.

Liz asks, WHAT DO YOU THINK? DO YOU THINK THAT LOOKS LIKE MR KEEN? I DO.

She draws a shirt and tie. She adds more to the eyebrows.

Liz says, LET'S MAKE THAT LINE NICE AND THICK. HE LOOKS VERY CROSS LIKE THAT.

(Laughs)

Tom says, WOW, THAT'S COOL!

Liz says, STICK THAT BLACK BIT THERE. MAYBE MAKE HIS HAIR A BIT THICKER. THAT'S BETTER.

She looks up.

Liz says, IT'S MR KEEN! WITH THE EYEBROWS.

Tom says, LOVE IT!

Liz says, THERE YOU GO, THAT'S MR KEEN. WHAT WOULD YOU TURN THEM INTO?

She holds up the two pens.

Tom says, AW, THANKS, LIZ! THAT WAS GREAT. WHY DON'T YOU GIVE IT A GO?

Amy says, THAT'S FUNNY.

Mr. Fullerman says, RIGHT, EVERYONE, COME ON - THE RAIN'S STOPPED. WE CAN ALL GO OUTSIDE.

Amy says, I WAS ENJOYING THIS.

Tom says, THE GREAT THING ABOUT THIS GAME IS YOU CAN STILL PLAY IT OUTSIDE TOO. LET'S TAKE THE CHALK.

Amy says, YEAH, OK.

Tom says, I THINK IT MIGHT BE A GOOD TIME FOR... PLAY IT!

Text reads: Play it.

Tom narrates, I'VE BEEN DOODLING AROUND OBJECTS. CAN YOU GUESS WHAT I'M GOING TO DRAW?

Brad says, IT'S A SPIDER!

(Gasps)

(Popping)

Tom says, EVERYONE IS LOVING IT!

Amy says, IT'S BRILLIANT. AND THE CHALK WILL WASH AWAY THE NEXT TIME IT RAINS.

Tom says, NO NEED TO CLEAN IT OFF! OOH...

Tom looks around at a manhole cover.

(Amy gasps)

Amy asks, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH THAT?

Tom says, HAVE A GUESS!

Tom draws a nose and mouth.

Amy says, ERM... ER... HA-HA! IT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE HIM. THAT'S BRILLIANT!

Brad says, IT'S MR FULLERMAN!

Florence asks, WHAT DO YOU THINK MR FULLERMAN WOULD MAKE OF IT?

Marcus says, WELL, WHY DON'T YOU ASK HIM?

Tom says, UH-OH...

Mr. Fullerman and Mr. Keen walk outside.

Florence says, OH, NO, HE'S COMING.

(Tense music)

Marcus says sarcastically, OH, DEAR! TOM'S IN TROUBLE.

Tom says, BEFORE MR FULLERMAN SEES THIS, MAYBE YOU GUYS SHOULD SEE...

Florence says, MAKE IT!

Text reads: Make it.

Florence narrates, IF YOU NEED TO GET RID OF YOUR CHEEKY DOODLES IN A HURRY, I'VE GOT THE PERFECT THING - YOUR OWN DOODLING BOARD. YOU WILL NEED...

Objects appear as Florence names them.

Florence narrates, ONE PIECE OF COLOURED A4 CARD... IF YOU DON'T HAVE COLOURED, WHITE WORKS GREAT TOO. A CLEAR PLASTIC WALLET, SOME PENS TO DECORATE, COLOURED PAPER TAPE AND A WHITEBOARD MARKER.

A doodle bug asks, AND A GLUE STICK?

Florence says, SORRY, NOT TODAY.

The doodle bug says, OHHH! ALL RIGHT.

(Squeaking)

Florence says, THAT'S A BIT AWKWARD!

Tom says, HERE WE GO!

A green monster holds a timer.

(Ticking)

Tom asks, GOT ALL THAT? LET'S GET MAKING!

(Alarm bell rings)

Florence says, TAKE YOUR PLASTIC WALLET AND SLIP YOUR CARD INSIDE. CAREFULLY CUT THE BIT WITH THE HOLES IN OFF. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T CUT INTO THE MAIN SECTION.

A small bug holds up a sign that reads: Be careful with scissors!

A bug says, BE CAREFUL WITH SCISSORS!

Florence continues, USING THE TAPE, MAKE A BORDER AROUND THE EDGES, LIKE THIS.

A blue border is around a green paper.

Florence narrates, AND THEN DECORATE ALONG THE BORDERS.

(Popping)

Florence continues, NOW YOU'RE READY TO START DOODLING. MAKE SURE YOU ONLY USE THE WHITEBOARD MARKER AS YOUR DOODLE PEN.

Two bugs are drawn on the plastic sheet covering the green paper.

A bug with spots says, I LOVE MAKE IT!

Florence narrates, IF YOU WANT TO DO ANOTHER DOODLE, JUST USE A PIECE OF TISSUE TO WIPE YOUR BOARD CLEAN.

The spotted bug asks WHAT'S THAT?!

The bugs are wiped away.

The other bug cries, ARGH! HELP, HELP!

(Popping)

A drawing of Mr. Fullerman appears on the plastic.

Florence says, OH, HEY, MR FULLERMAN.

Mr. Fullerman says, THAT'S WONDERFUL!

Mr. Fullerman asks, ARE YOU ALL RIGHT, TOM?

Tom is lying over the manhole cover.

Tom says, ERM, ER, I'M OK! I'M JUST... HAVING A REST.

Mr. Keen asks, TOM, ISN'T THE GROUND STILL WET?

Tom says, I DON'T MIND.

Mr. Fullerman says, COME ON. I THINK YOU SHOULD PROBABLY GET UP.

Tom says, ERM...

Amy says, WAIT... HE CAN'T GET UP.

Mr. Keen asks, WHY NOT?

Amy says, WE'RE PLAYING A DRAWING GAME. UM, WE'LL SHOW YOU. WE'RE ALL DRAWING AROUND TOM.

Brad says, AH!

Everyone crouches down to draw around Tom.

Children say, I'VE GOT AN IDEA. WHAT ABOUT THIS?

Tom says, THAT TICKLES.

Children say, OH, YEAH, THAT LOOKS COOL. WHAT ABOUT THIS INSTEAD?

Marcus draws a yellow line.

Mr. Fullerman says, VERY IMAGINATIVE. WELL DONE, EVERYONE!

Mr. Keen says, YES, WELL, IT'S A BIT OF A MESS, BUT IF MR FULLERMAN'S HAPPY, I SUPPOSE WE'LL ALL HAVE TO BE TOO. LET'S JUST HOPE FOR SOME MORE RAIN. HM!

Tom says, THANK YOU, MR KEEN.

Mr. Keen picks up a container of chalk.

Mr. Keen says, HMM... I'D BETTER RETURN THESE TO YOUR CLASSROOM BEFORE YOU CAN DO ANY MORE "ART".

Mr. Fullerman and Mr. Keen walk away.

(Marcus sighs)

Tom stands.

Tom says, THAT WAS A LUCKY ESCAPE!

Marcus says, WAS IT? WHAT ABOUT THE DOODLE OF MR KEEN YOU LEFT IN THE CLASSROOM?

Tom cries, ARGH!

Mr. Keen shouts, MY EYEBROWS AREN'T THAT HAIRY!

(Tom gasps)

(All laugh)

Tom says, IT IS A FUN GAME, BUT IT CAN BE A BIT RISKY!
