- ONE TEASPOON OF BAKING POWDER.
- ONE EGG.
- AND ONE CUP OF MILK.

FIRST OF ALL, THAW OUT THE
FROZEN RASPBERRIES FOR ONE
MINUTE IN THE MICROWAVE.

[Boing, slide whistles]

She says, WE NEED JUST HALF A CUP.

Serena pours half a cup of raspberries into a bowl.

[Rattling, slide whistle, slam, beep, beeping]

Text reads, “Ready!”

She says, IT'S READY!

[Scraping]

Emma wears a pink bathrobe with white hearts over a red shirt. She wears her dark brown hair pulled away from her face.

Emma says, IN A MEDIUM-SIZED
BOWL, WE MIX THE FLOUR
AND THE BAKING POWDER.

[Slide whistle]

Text reads, “one cup (two hundred and fifty milliliters).”

She says, WE NEED ONE CUP
OF FLOUR.

WE NEED ONE TEASPOON
OF BAKING POWDER.

Text reads, “one teaspoon (five milliliters).” “Mix!”

[Slide whistles]

Emma says, IT'S TIME TO MIX!

Serena says, IN A SECOND MEDIUM
BOWL, BEAT THE EGG WITH
THE WHISK.

Text reads “one egg.”

[Slide whistle]

Serena says, ADD THE MILK
AND THE THAWED RASPBERRIES.

[Slide whistles]

Text reads, “one cup (two hundred and fifty milliliters).”

[Splashing]

Serena says, WE NEED A CUP
OF MILK.

Serena adds the raspberries to the egg mixture.

[Slide whistle]

Emma says, NEXT... GENTLY
INCORPORATE THE CONTENT
OF THE FIRST BOWL INTO THE
SECOND BOWL AND MIX IT UNTIL
THERE ARE NO MORE
LITTLE CLUMPIES.

Serena mixes the five ingredients together.

Emma says, IN A NON-STICK
FRYING PAN, WE MELT A LITTLE
BUTTER OVER MEDIUM HEAT.

Serena says, POUR ONE SCOOP
OF PANCAKE BATTER ON
THE PAN.

Serena uses an ice cream scoop to measure batter into the pan.

Text reads, “one scoop.”

[Slide whistle]

She says, SPREAD IT OUT AND
LET IT COOK FOR A FEW MINUTES.

Emma says, LITTLE AIR BUBBLES
ARE APPEARING.

Text reads, “air bubbles equals flip!”

Serena says, READY TO FLIP.

[Slide whistle]

Emma says, WHEN THE BOTTOM
OF THE PANCAKE IS WELL COOKED,
UNSTICK IT WITH THE SPATULA.

Serena says, I THINK IT'S READY.

Serena lifts the pancake out of the pan.

Emma says, LET'S MAKE ANOTHER ONE!

[Upbeat music plays]

Serena pours more batter into the pan and makes more pancakes.

Serena and Emma say, TA-DAH!

Serena says, FLIPPITY-DOO PANCAKES...

Text reads, “Flippity-Doo Pancakes in Pajamas.”

Emma says, IN PAJAMAS!

[Pop]

Serena pours syrup on her pancakes. She and Emma taste the pancakes.

Serena says, HMM!

Serena and Emma say, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

Emma says, WHAT A CHALLENGE!

Text reads, “What a Challenge!”

[Popping, slide whistle]

Serena smiles and holds up a plate of pancakes as Emma takes a photograph.
