POP IT ONTO A PLATE AND COVER IT WITH A CLEAN TEA TOWEL. ADD TOMATO PURÉE TO A BOWL OF PASSATA. ASK A GROWN-UP TO HELP YOU MASH TINNED TUNA AND ADD THIS TO THE BOWL. TEAR GREEN OLIVES INTO SMALL PIECES AND ADD THEM TO THE BOWL ALONG WITH THE PAPRIKA. THEN ADD A FEW TWISTS OF BLACK PEPPER. PULL THE LEAVES OFF THE OREGANO AND ADD THEM TO THE MIXTURE. ASK A GROWN-UP TO COOK A HARD-BOILED EGG FOR YOU, THEN BREAK IT UP INTO THE BOWL LIKE THIS AND MIX IT, MIX IT, MIX IT.
Lola stirs the bowl with a spoon.
The narrator continues, SPOON THE FILLING OVER THE COOKED AND COOLED PIZZA DOUGH. SPREAD THE MIXTURE OUT USING THE BACK OF THE SPOON, LEAVING SPACE AROUND THE OUTSIDE. LAY THE SECOND CIRCLE OF DOUGH ON TOP, AND PINCH IT ALL AROUND THE OUTSIDE WITH YOUR FINGERTIPS TO SEAL IT. PAINT THE REST OF THE WHISKED EGG OVER THE TOP OF THE DOUGH, JUST LIKE THIS. PLACE THE TIN BACK ONTO A BAKING SHEET AND ASK A GROWN-UP TO PUT IT INTO THE OVEN FOR YOU.
Lola puts yellow placemats on a red tablecloth.
The narrator says, NOW, THERE'S JUST ENOUGH TIME FOR LOLA TO GET THE TABLE READY BEFORE HER FRIENDS ARRIVE.
Lola sets out miniature Spanish flags and a decorated fan.
(Castanets clicking)
Lola clicks castanets
Lola says, THESE ARE CASTANETS. THEY'RE USED BY SPANISH DANCERS AND MUSICIANS. I WILL SURPRISE MY FRIENDS WHEN THEY ARRIVE.
(Doorbell ringing)
Lola says, OH. THEY'RE HERE.
The narrator says, WELL DONE, LOLA. YOUR SPANISH-THEMED TABLE LOOKS GREAT.
Lola opens the front door.
Lola says, OLA.
Edie says, HI.
The narrator says, THAT MEANS "HELLO" IN SPANISH.
Luis says, HI.
Halle says, HI.
The narrator says, NOW, EVERYONE'S WASHED THEIR HANDS AND THEY'RE READY TO EAT.
A doll in a flamenco costume is on the centre of the dining room table.
Luis says, I REALLY LIKE THE LADY IN THE MIDDLE.
Edie asks WHY IS EVERYTHING RED AND YELLOW?
Lola says, IT'S BECAUSE THE SPANISH FLAG IS RED AND YELLOW.
Halle asks, WHAT ARE THESE?
Lola says, THEY'RE CASTANETS. THEY'RE USED IN SPANISH DANCING.
(Castanets clicking)
Lola and the children click castanets.
Lola says, RIGHT, EVERYBODY. I'VE GOT A SPANISH SURPRISE FOR YOU.
(Laughing)
A blonde woman in a red dress walks in, followed by a guitar player.
(Spanish guitar music)
The narrator says, YOU CAN'T HAVE A SPANISH PARTY WITHOUT A FLAMENCO DANCER.
(Flamenco music)
(Children clapping in rhythm)
The blonde woman plays castanets and turns in a circle as she dances. She stomps her feet over the floor.
Everyone cries, OLÉ!
The narrator says, OLÉ! THAT WAS AMAZING. HERE COMES MUM WITH THE COOKED AND SLIGHTLY COOLED TUNA EMPANADA.
Marissa sets down plates with cut pieces of empanada.
(Music playing)
The narrator says, MUM HAS ALSO BROUGHT SOME SLICED TOMATOES TO GO WITH IT. WELL DONE, LOLA. YOUR TUNA EMPANADAS LOOK WONDERFUL AND HAVE TURNED GOLDEN BROWN IN THE OVEN. EARLIER TODAY, NOT ALL OF LOLA'S FRIENDS LIKED THE TASTE AND SMELL OF OREGANO. I WONDER IF THEY'LL CHANGE THEIR MINDS WHEN THEY TRY IT IN HER RECIPE.
Lola asks, DO YOU LIKE THE EMPANADA?
Luis says, I LIKE THE FLAVOUR, AND I REALLY LIKE HOW THE CHICKEN IS COOKED.
Lola says, IT'S NOT CHICKEN. IT'S TUNA.
Luis says, OH!
Edie says, I REALLY LIKE THE OLIVES.
Halle says, I LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.
Lola asks, WHAT DO YOU THINK THE SPECIAL INGREDIENT WAS?
Luis says, TOMATO.
Edie says, I DON'T KNOW.
Halle asks, OLIVES?
Lola says, NO. THE SPECIAL INGREDIENT WAS OREGANO.
The children say, AH.
Lola asks, DID YOU LIKE THE OREGANO WHEN IT WAS IN THE FOOD?
Edie says, YEAH, I DID.
Lola asks, WHAT ABOUT YOU, HALLE?
Halle says, YEAH. IT WAS REALLY NICE.
The narrator says, IT LOOKS LIKE EVERYONE'S ENJOYING THE TASTE OF OREGANO AFTER ALL.
Lola says, THANK YOU FOR COMING TO MY WORLD KITCHEN.
