Harper says, HELLO.

The Grimwades stand outside and wave.
The narrator says, THIS IS THE GRIMWADE FAMILY. THEY'RE GOING GREEN BY USING THE FIVE RS. FIND OUT WHICH R THEY CHOOSE TODAY, AS THEY GET ON THEIR BIKES.
The children shout, LET’S GO GREEN.
Animated cardboard circles read, REFUSE, REDUCE, REUSE, REPAIR, RECYCLE.
(Music playing)

Harper shouts, REFUSE!
All singing, GO GREEN WITH THE GRIMWADES!
Halle says, REDUCE!
All singing, GO GREEN WITH THE GRIMWADES.

All shout, GO GREEN WITH THE GRIMWADES!
Reu rides a bicycle on a driveway.
Tim says, Woo-hoo!
The narrator says, THE GRIMWADES ARE GOING OUT TODAY.
Tim stands in a doorway, holding Houston.
Tim says, LOOK AT HIM GO.
Ella says, WE HAVEN'T BEEN OUT ON OUR BIKES FOR AGES.
Tim says, APART FROM REU, OF COURSE. HE'S ALWAYS ON HIS BIKE.
Ella says, YEAH, I KNOW.
The narrator says, WOW. LOOK AT REU GO. HE CAN BALANCE REALLY WELL.
Tim says, HEY, LET ME GO AND GET THE OTHERS.
Tim says, OKAY, TIM.
Tim sits inside the house.
Tim calls, GUYS, CAN YOU COME DOWN AND GET YOUR HELMETS ON?
The children say, YEAH.
Tim asks, WHO'S THAT? WHO'S COMING? HARPER, CAN YOU HOP ON ONE LEG?
Harper hops.
The narrator says, HARPER HAS JUST LEARNT TO RIDE A BIKE.
Tim says, WOW. LOOK AT THAT.
The narrator says, IT'S ALL ABOUT BALANCE.
Tim asks, CAN YOU DO IT ON THE OTHER LEG? DO IT, DO IT, DO IT.
Harper hops and Tim bounces Houston in time to the hops.
Tim says, PERFECT.
Tim says, ALL RIGHT. YOU GO AND GET YOUR HELMET ON.
The children carry bicycle helmets outside.
Ella says, OH, I'M SO VERY GLAD WE'RE DOING THIS, KIDS. IT'S SUCH A GOOD WAY TO GO GREEN.
All say, YEAH.
Ella asks, DO YOU KNOW WHY?
Heze says, BECAUSE WE'RE NOT USING AS MUCH PETROL?
The narrator says, FINDING WAYS TO USE LESS FUEL IS REALLY GOOD FOR THE PLANET. EVERY TIME YOU REFUSE A CAR AND RIDE A BIKE INSTEAD, YOU'RE REDUCING POLLUTION.
Ella says, WE'RE REALLY GETTING THE HANG OF THIS GOING GREEN.
The children say, YEAH.
Ella says, OH, NO!
(Gasping)
The narrator asks, WHAT'S HAPPENED?
Ella says, MY WHEEL HAS NOT GOT ANY AIR IN IT.
The narrator says, ALL THE AIR HAS COME OUT OF THE TIRE. IT'S A FLAT TIRE.
Ella says, SO, HOW AM I GOING TO USE MY BIKE NOW? OH, NO. CAN ONE OF YOU GO AND GET DADDY REAL QUICK, PLEASE?
Heze says, YEAH. DAD, WE NEED YOU.
Tim asks WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?
Reu says, MUMMY'S WHEEL IS FLAT.
Ella says, I'M SO SORRY, GUYS. WE'RE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO TAKE THE BIKES OUT, 'CAUSE THIS IS UNSAFE TO RIDE.
Ella says, UNLESS GRIMWADE GANG--
All shout, LET'S GO GREEN!
(Music playing)
The animated cardboard circles rotate in front of a green landscape and blue sky.
The narrator says, YOU ARE PART OF THE GRIMWADE GANG, TOO. WHICH OF THE FIVE RS SHALL WE USE TO GO GREEN TODAY? SHOULD WE REFUSE, REDUCE, REUSE, REPAIR OR RECYCLE? A FLAT TIRE MEANS THE BIKE IS BROKEN. HOW CAN THE GRIMWADES GET ON THE MOVE? WHICH R MEANS "TO FIX THINGS"? DO YOU KNOW?
All shout, LET'S REPAIR.
The “Repair” circle appears.
Tim says, WE NEED TO REPAIR THE BIKE, BUT WE DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW TO, AND WE MUST MAKE SURE IT'S SAFE.
Ella says, A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE THIS SAME PROBLEM, AND IN MOST AREAS, THERE'S SOMETHING CALLED A BIKE DOCTOR, AND THEY'LL COME TO THE HOUSE AND FIX IT FOR YOU. AND GUESS WHAT. WE'VE GOT TWO COMING TO VISIT US TODAY.
The children say, YES.
Tim says, AND THEY'RE GOING TO TEACH YOU HOW TO REPAIR IT YOURSELF.
The children say, YES.
Ella says, THAT'S FANTASTIC.
Two people in orange sweatshirt ride bicycles.
The narrator says, HERE COME JAMES AND ERLINA TO THE RESCUE.
Erlina says, HELLO. NICE TO MEET YOU.
Ella says, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMING TO REPAIR OUR BIKES. HALLE, WHY DON'T YOU SHOW JAMES THE PROBLEM, AND REU, LET'S GO AND GET OUR--
Halle says, ERLINA, COME. OUR BIKES ARE OVER HERE.
James says, OKAY, HALLE. WHAT APPEARS TO BE THE PROBLEM?
Halle says, THAT TIRE IS FLAT.
James says, YEAH. I CAN SEE THAT, AND I CAN ALSO SEE YOU GOT A NAIL IN THE TIRE. I MEAN, WHAT DO YOU THINK THAT'S DONE TO THE TIRE?
Halle says, IT'S MADE A HOLE IN THERE...
James says, YEAH, EXACTLY.
Halle says, ...AND THE AIR IS JUST COMING OUT.
James says, SO, WE HAVE TO TAKE THE TIRE OFF THE WHEEL, REPAIR THE TUBE AND PUT EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER AGAIN. THEN, IT WILL BE READY TO ROCK.
Tim asks, SO, JAMES, DOES THAT HAPPEN OFTEN?
James says, IT CAN DO. IF YOU DON'T KEEP YOUR TIRES PUMPED UP, THEY'RE MORE LIKELY TO GET A PUNCTURE.
Erlina says, WHAT WE'RE GOING TO DO FIRST IS WE'RE GOING TO...
The narrator says, THAT'S WHY ERLINA IS SHOWING THE GRIMWADES HOW TO GO GREEN BY LOOKING AFTER THEIR BIKES.
Erlina says, ...FOR FLATS.
The children look at their bicycles.
The narrator says, THEY CHECK THE AIR IN THEIR TIRES, THE BRAKES THAT HELP THEM STOP, THE CHAIN THAT TURNS THE WHEELS, AND THAT THE HANDLEBARS GO IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.
Erlina says, OH, WELL DONE.
The narrator says, THEY'RE GOOD TO GO. BUT WHAT ABOUT MUMMY'S BIKE? GOOD NEWS: THE REPAIR IS UNDERWAY. THE HOLE IN THE TIRE IS BEING PATCHED UP. AND LOOK: HALLE IS HELPING, TOO. SHE'S FILLING IT UP WITH AIR AGAIN.
Halle work a bicycle pump.
Ella guides Reu outside. He carries a bowl of fruit.
Ella says, OUT YOU GO. HOW ARE WE GETTING ON, GUYS?
Halle says, ALL FIXED, MUM.
Ella says, IT'S ALL FIXED? YOU REPAIRED THE BIKE?
Heze says, ALL CHECKED UP.
Harper says, GOOD TO GO.
The narrator says, GREAT WORK, GUYS. A QUICK SNACK FOR SOME ENERGY BEFORE HEADING OUT.
Everyone takes a piece of fruit.
The Grimwades stand with their bicycles on an empty basketball court. Erlina and James stand nearby.
The narrator says, THE GRIMWADES HAVE GONE TO A LOCAL PARK FOR A CYCLING LESSON, EVEN HOUSTON.
Houston is on a seat behind Tim.
James says, WE'RE ALL GOING TO RIDE AS A GROUP AND STOP IN A LINE BY THE BLUE CONES. GRIMWADES, GO.
The narrator says, IF WE GO ANYWHERE ON A BIKE, IT'S IMPORTANT TO KNOW HOW TO STOP.
The Grimwades ride to small blue cones on the ground.
Ella says, OH, MY GOODNESS. OH, NO. YOU WENT FASTER THAN I.
(Laughing)
The narrator says, GOOD TRY, REU.
James says, OKAY, REU. THAT WAS REALLY GOOD. BUT WHEN YOU GET OLDER AND GET A BIKE WITH BRAKES, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO USE YOUR BRAKES, TOO, OKAY?
(Music playing)
Heze and Hosanna maneuver their bicycles between orange cones.
The narrator says, THAT'S RIGHT, REU. JUST LIKE HEZE AND HOSANNA DO. NOW THEY'RE 11 AND 10, THEY CAN LEARN HOW TO RIDE ON THE ROAD.
James says, WE'RE GOING TO WORK ON SOME REALLY IMPORTANT SKILLS.
Heze says, OKAY.
James says, OBSERVATION AND COMMUNICATION.
The narrator says, JAMES IS TEACHING THEM HOW TO LOOK OUT FOR TRAFFIC AND TELL THE CARS WHICH WAY THEY'RE GOING.
Hosanna signals with one hand.
Hosanna says, THIS IS A BIT HARD, 'CAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO RIDE ONE-HANDED AT FIRST. BUT NOW, I DO.
The narrator says, THAT'S GOOD, BECAUSE IN A FEW MINUTES, THEY'LL BE GOING ON THE ROAD WITH MUMMY, WHO'S GETTING A LESSON, TOO. ARE YOU NERVOUS, HEZE?
Heze says, I FEEL A LITTLE BIT NERVOUS, BUT JUST BECAUSE OF THE OTHER CARS.
Heze and Hosanna put on safety vests.
The narrator says, THAT'S WHY THEY'RE PUTTING ON BRIGHT JACKETS, SO THE CARS WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THEM. GOOD LUCK, EVERYONE. AND OFF THEY GO. HEZE AND HOSANNA ARE RIDING ON THE ROAD. THE GROWN-UPS WILL MAKE SURE THEY'RE SAFE.
Heze and Hosanna ride.
(Music playing)
Erlina sets down small cones.
Erlina says, OOPS. HERE. AND THEN--
The narrator says, BACK INSIDE THE PARK, REU, HARPER AND HALLE ARE PLAYING A
GAME. THEY'VE GOT TO CONTROL THEIR BIKES INSIDE THIS BOX, BUT IT'S NOT THAT EASY. THE BOX IS GETTING SMALLER AND SMALLER.
Tim pushes the cones closer together.
Tim says, OH, IT'S COMING. IT'S GETTING CLOSER. IS EVERYONE COVERING THEIR BRAKES?
The children say, YEAH.
Tim says, GUYS, IT'S GETTING SMALLER.
The children ride in a circle inside the cones.
James rides behind Heze and Hosanna.
James asks, HEY, IS IT CLEAR? OFF WE GO, HEZE.
Ella leads the other children on a ride around the park.
Ella says, COME ON, REU.
The narrator says, WHILE HEZE AND HOSANNA LEARN THE RULES OF THE ROAD, THE
OTHERS CAN STILL HAVE FUN. THEY'RE NOT OLD ENOUGH TO RIDE NEAR TRAFFIC, BUT THEY'VE FOUND A CYCLE PATH WHERE THERE AREN'T ANY CARS.
Tim says, LOOK HOW FAR WE'VE TRAVELLED, GUYS.
All say, YEAH.
Tim says, AND WHILE WE WERE DOING IT, WE WERE GOING GREEN. YOU ALL HAVING ALL THAT FUN. ISN'T THAT COOL?
All say, YEAH.
Tim points to parked cars.
Tim says, LOOK OUT THERE. WHAT DO YOU SEE?
The children say, CARS.
Tim asks, WHAT DO YOU GET FROM CARS?
Halle says, POLLUTION.
Tim says, YES, HALLE. MOST EXHAUST FUMES CAUSE GREENHOUSE GASES, WHICH ARE WARMING UP THE PLANET. ALL RIGHT. LET'S GO WAIT FOR THE OTHERS, SHALL WE?
Halle says, YEP.
(Music playing)
James says, CHECKING MY BRAKES. HERE WE GO.
The narrator says, NICELY HANDLED, HEZE AND HOSANNA. WE KNEW YOU COULD DO IT.
Tim says, WOW. LOOK AT YOU THREE.
Ella says, AND YOU GUYS LOOK LIKE YOU HAD FUN AS WELL. I HAD A FANTASTIC TIME ON THAT BIKE RIDE, AND THIS BIKE WORKS REALLY WELL ON THE ROAD. I'M SO PROUD OF ALL YOU GUYS. WELL DONE. WE HAVE REPAIRED.
The narrator asks, HOW DID THE GRIMWADES GO GREEN TODAY? THEY REPAIRED. THEY HELPED FIX MUMMY'S BIKE, CHECKED THEIR BIKES WERE READY, AND LEARNT HOW TO CYCLE
ON THE ROAD: A GREAT WAY TO GET ABOUT, POLLUTION-FREE.
The Grimwades wave to James and Erlina.
All say, BYE. THANKS AGAIN.
Tim says, AH, WELL DONE, GUYS. THAT WAS AMAZING. IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT REPAIRING BUT BEING GREEN IN THE WAY THAT WE TRAVEL.
Ella says, GRIMWADE GANG...
All shout, ...WE'VE GONE GREEN.
Ella holds Houston in front of a background of green trees and blue sky. Tim stands beside her.
Tim says, WE'VE GONE GREEN.
Ella says, NOW, IT'S YOUR TURN.

Halle singing, AND WHERE THEY LIVE NEEDS LOOKING AFTER GOING GREEN IS THE ANSWER.
All singing, GO GREEN, GO GREEN. GO GREEN, GREEN, GREEN. GO GREEN, GO GREEN, TO KEEP THE PLANET CLEAN.
Tim singing, THE ANSWER IS OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR USING LESS AND RECYCLING MORE.
Ella singing, ALL THE LITTLE THINGS YOU DO REALLY HELP THE PLANET, TOO.
All singing, GO GREEN, GO GREEN. GO GREEN, GREEN, GREEN. GO GREEN, GO GREEN, TO KEEP THE PLANET CLEAN.
Ella singing, IT'S A WALK IN THE PARK, IT'S PICKING IT UP. IT'S FEEDING THE BIRDS AND REUSING YOUR CUP.

Harper hops on one leg.
Tim says, DO IT, DO IT, DO IT.
Harper says, WORK ON YOUR BALANCING SKILL BY STANDING ON ONE LEG.
The narrator says, GOOD ADVICE, HARPER. THANKS FOR VISITING THE GRIMWADES. SEE YOU NEXT TIME.
