Ella says, OKAY.
Tim says, ALRIGHT, LET'S DO IT.
Ella says, LET'S GO.
The narrator says, YOU ONLY EVER TELEPHONE 999 IN AN EMERGENCY.
[Siren wailing]
The narrator says, DEPENDING ON THE PROBLEM, YOU'LL BE PUT THROUGH TO THE POLICE, AMBULANCE, OR FIRE SERVICE.
A man working at a desk wears a headset.
He says, FIRE BRIGADE, WHAT'S THE ADDRESS OF THE EMERGENCY?
The narrator says, IF THE FIRE ENGINE IS NEEDED THE MESSAGE IS SENT TO FIREFIGHTERS LIKE CHERYL.
In an office, Cheryl asks, SO, DID YOU WANT TO SEE HOW QUICKLY WE GET IN THE FIRE ENGINE?

Heze says, YES PLEASE.
Tim says, YEAH!

[Timer ticking]
[Horn honking]
The narrator says, THIS ISN'T AN EMERGENCY AT THE MOMENT. THIS IS A TURNOUT DRILL.

Cheryl asks, WHAT'D YOU THINK?
The Grimwades all say, THAT WAS SO QUICK!
Cheryl says, YEAH, AND WE HAD TO PUT OUR PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT ON AS WELL.
Reu asks, CAN I LOOK IN THE BACK?
Cheryl says, YOU CAN LOOK IN THE BACK. DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S IN THE BACK?
Reu says, WATER!
[Rattling]
Cheryl opens a compartment in the back of the truck full of fire hoses.
The narrator says, THAT'S RIGHT, REU, THESE ARE THE HOSE PIPES THAT HELP THE FIREFIGHTERS PUT OUT FIRES.
Cheryl says, THIS WILL HELP SUPPLY WATER TO THE FIRE AND COLLECT IT FROM A HYDRANT.
Heze says, THESE ONES LOOK QUITE OLD. DO YOU GET NEW ONES?
Cheryl says, THEY ARE REPLENISHED ALL THE TIME, WE HAVE TO CHANGE THEM OVER. THESE HOSES DON'T GO TO WASTE. WE MAKE THEM INTO OTHER THINGS.
The narrator says, HOSES CAN BE REUSED FOR ALL SORTS OF THINGS, LIKE BELTS, FURNITURE, AND KEY RINGS.
Belts, a table and a keyring made of fire hoses are shown.
Cheryl says, WE TRY REALLY HARD TO MAKE SURE WE DON'T SEND THINGS TO THE LANDFILL.
Ella says, I KNOW THE FEELING. WE'VE GOT SO MANY WELLINGTON BOOTS AT HOME, ENOUGH TO KIT ALL OF YOU GUYS.
Tim says, WE HAVE THAT BIG BOX IN THE GARAGE, RIGHT?
Ella says, YEAH, I MEAN, THEY'RE ALL WORN OUT AND NONE OF THEM FIT US ANYMORE. I WONDER WHAT WE SHOULD DO WITH THEM.
Cheryl says, WELL, YOU ARE THE GRIMWADES. I'M SURE YOU'LL THINK OF SOMETHING.
Ella says, WELL, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING US.
Tim waves and says, SEE YA.
The Grimwade children wave and say, BYE!
Cheryl says, ONE LAST THING BEFORE YOU GO. WHEN YOU GET HOME, I WANT YOU TO MAKE A PLAN OF HOW YOU GET OUT, GOT IT?
Halle says, OKAY.
Hosanna says, YUP.
Heze says, YUP, WE COULD DO THAT.
Halle waves and says, BYE!
Ella says, THANKS, BYE!
Cheryl waves and says, BYE!
The Grimwades leave.
Cheryl adds, STAY SAFE.
Outside, Tim says, WASN'T THAT GREAT, GUYS?
Heze says, THAT WAS AMAZING.
Hosanna and Halle say, YEAH.
Ella says, IT WAS FANTASTIC, AND THE FIREFIGHTER SET US A CHALLENGE TO DO SOMETHING WITH OLD WELLIES WHEN WE GET HOME.
Heze says, YUP.
Tim says, MM-HM.
Harper says, YEAH.
Ella says, DO YOU KNOW WHAT, GRIMWADE GANG?
The Grimwades all say, LET'S GO GREEN!
[Light, cheerful music plays]
In the cardboard park, the “Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Repair, Recycle” circles appear.
The narrator says, YOU ARE PART OF THE GRIMWADE GANG, TOO. WHICH OF THE FIVE RS SHOULD WE USE TO GO GREEN TODAY? SHOULD WE REFUSE, REDUCE, REUSE, REPAIR, OR RECYCLE?
In a flashback, Cheryl greets the Grimwades outside the fire station.
The narrator says, CHERYL THE FIREFIGHTER THINKS THE GRIMWADES CAN DO SOMETHING WITH THEIR OLD WELLINGTONS. THEY WON'T THROW THEM AWAY, SO WHAT CAN THEY DO?
In a flashback, Cheryl opens the fire hose compartment in the firetruck.
The narrator asks, DO YOU KNOW?
In a flashback, the firefighters leave the fire station.
The Grimwades say, LET'S REUSE!
Tim says, YES, THAT MAKES SENSE. I KNOW WE CAN DO SOMETHING, BUT WHAT?
The Grimwades look thoughtful.
The narrator says, OH, DEAR, THE GRIMWADES DON'T KNOW HOW TO GO GREEN. I HOPE THEY COME UP WITH SOMETHING SOON.
The Grimwades walk down a sidewalk toward a pot of red flowers. Drivers pass them on the street.
[Cars whooshing]
Halle says, LOOK AT THOSE FLOWERS, THEY'RE SO PRETTY.
Tim says, YEAH, YOU'RE RIGHT, AND YOU KNOW WHAT? OUR GARDEN REALLY COULD DO WITH SOME FLOWERS ON SHOW.
The Grimwades pause outside a flower shop, and Tim furrows his brow.
Tim says, WAIT A MINUTE, WE COULD USE THE WELLINGTONS AS FLOWERPOTS.
Hosanna says, AND THEN WE CAN MAKE A DISPLAY LIKE THAT!
She turns to the flowers on display.
Tim says, SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN. ALRIGHT, WE'LL SEE YOU AT HOME!
He stays at the store with Heze, Reu and Harper. Ella continues up the sidewalk with Hosanna and Halle.
Ella says, SEE YA LATER.
Tim, Heze, Harper and Reu say, BYE.
The narrator says, GREAT IDEA, GRIMWADES.
[Light, cheerful music plays]
At the Grimwade’s house, different coloured rain boots, also known as wellies, fill a storage bin in the garage. Ella, Hosanna and Halle wait for the garage door to open.
The narrator says, MUMMY, HOSANNA, AND HALLE CAN'T WAIT TO GET THOSE WELLIES OUT OF THE GARAGE.
Hosanna and Halle pull boots out of the storage container.
The narrator continues, AND THE OTHERS GET TO CHOOSE WHICH COLOUR FLOWERS TO BUY.
Outside the flower shop, Heze picks up a red potted flower.
The narrator says, RED, OF COURSE, LIKE REU'S WELLINGTONS AND THE FIRE ENGINE.
Tim, Heze, Reu, and Halle carry other plants into the shop.
[Light, cheerful music plays]
At home, in the sunroom, Halle dips a paintbrush into a glob of red paint on a piece of cardboard.
The narrator says, BACK AT HOME, HALLE AND HOSANNA ARE PAINTING THEIR OLD WELLINGTONS.
Halle paints a large yellow rainboot. Hosanna paints a small black rainboot.
Hosanna says, A BIT MORE LIKE A FIRE.
She paints red and yellow flames on her rainboot. Halle’s rainboot reads,”999.” Halle paints white squares onto the boot.
The narrator asks, HAVE YOU WORKED OUT THEIR DESIGN YET?
Halle grabs another paintbrush. In the driveway, Tim carries a box of plants.
Tim says, WAIT, GUYS, REMEMBER WHAT THE FIREFIGHTER TOLD US TO DO?
Heze says, TO THINK ABOUT HOW TO EXIT OUR HOUSE IN AN EMERGENCY.
Tim says, EXACTLY, SO TODAY I WANT YOU TO PAY ATTENTION TO ALL OF THE DOORS IN OUR HOUSE THAT YOU USE, STARTING WITH THIS ONE.
He stands at the side door with Heze, Harper and Reu.
Harper says, EMERGENCY EXIT.
Harper and Reu both say, NUMBER ONE.
They walk inside with Tim and Heze. In the sunroom, Halle paints a white square onto a red boot that reads, “Fire.”
From close by, Ella asks, HOW ARE YOU GETTING ON, GIRLS? YOU OKAY?
Hosanna and Halle both say, GOOD, THANKS.
Ella stands by the door.
She asks, DO YOU NEED ANY HELP?
Hosanna says, NO, I’M FINE.
Halle says, UM, NO, THANK YOU, MUM.
Ella says, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE FINISHED WELLIES.
Hosanna and Halle both say, YEAH!
Ella says, ALRIGHT, THEN.
Hosanna continues painting flames on the black boot. At the back door, Tim steps into the backyard with Reu and the box of plants.
Tim asks, ALRIGHT, REU, AND THAT WAS DOOR NUMBER?
Reu says, TWO!
Tim says, THAT'S RIGHT.
Heze and Harper walk out of the sunroom door.
They both say, AND DOOR NUMBER THREE!
Heze closes the door.
The narrator says, THAT'S THE EXIT PLAN SORTED. NOW, LET'S HAVE A LOOK AT THOSE PLANTS.
Tim carries the box of plants over to a table in the yard.
He says, ALRIGHT, GUYS, LET'S SEE WHAT WE'VE GOT.
Tim puts the box down on the table.
He says, AH, THERE WE GO. SO, WE'VE GOT SOME ROSEMARY. DO YOU WANT TO SMELL THAT?
Reu smells a rosemary plant.
He says, YES, IT'S GOOD.
Tim asks, IT'S NICE?
Reu says, YEAH!
Tim says, AND THEN WE HAVE SOME MINT OVER HERE. HARPER, DO YOU WANT TO HAVE A SMELL OF THAT?
Harper smells a mint leaf.
She says, MM, IT SMELLS VERY MUCH LIKE MINT.
Tim says, WE'VE GOT SOME BASIL HERE.
Heze says, YUP.
Tim says, AND THEN WE HAVE A PLANT OVER HERE THAT'S CALLED A GERANIUM.
He glances toward the house. Ella, Harper and Hosanna walk outside with the painted rainboots.
Tim says, OH, WHAT WE GOT HERE?
He, Harper, Reu and Heze look at the boots.
Heze says, THEY LOOK GOOD.
Ella asks, DO YOU LIKE THE DECORATIONS?
Tim says, WOW!
Heze says, YEAH, I REALLY LIKE THIS ONE.
He points to a red boot with a white checkered pattern.
Tim says, THAT’S VERY COOL.
He looks at the fire on Hosanna’s boot.
Tim says, AH, NICE, DO YOU WANNA PUT THEM ON THE TABLE?
Hosanna says, YEAH!
Harper says, I REALLY LIKE THIS ONE.
Tim says, THEY LOOK VERY GOOD.
Ella says, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
She, Hosanna and Halle put the boots on the table.
Ella says, THERE YOU GO.
Tim says, ALRIGHT, GUYS, SO WE'VE GOT OUR BOOTS, WE'VE GOT OUR FLOWERS, WE'VE GOT THE GRIMWADE GANG. TIME TO GO GREEN.
Heze says, YEAH, YEAH, YEAH.
[Light, cheerful music plays]
The narrator says, AFTER WATCHING THE FIREFIGHTERS DO THEIR DRILL, NOW IT'S THE GRIMWADES' TURN.
The Grimwades plant the plants in the rainboots. Wearing gardening gloves, Hosanna pours soil into the rainboot, which is painted with a fire, using a plastic bottle as a scoop. Ella and Halle take one of the red flowers out of its container. Heze fills the white checkerboard boot with soil and helps Harper remove a plant from its container. Ella and Halle plant their flower in the yellow 999 boot.
The narrator says, CHERYL THE FIREFIGHTER GAVE THEM THE MISSION TO GO GREEN AND REUSE THEIR WELLINGTONS.
Tim and Hosanna plant a flower in the boot that is painted with a fire. Reu high-fives and fist-bumps Heze. The Grimwades walk through the garage with their plants.
The narrator says, LOOK WHAT THEY'VE COME UP WITH.
Heze, Hosanna, Halle and Reu decorate the side door with their rainboot plant and flower pots.
The narrator says, THEY'RE REUSING THE WELLINGTONS AS PLANT POTS.
Halle, Harper and Reu water the plants and flowers. Tim walks over with a toy firetruck.
Tim says, AND JUST ONE FINISHING TOUCH.
He puts the firetruck beside the boots.
Ella says, YEAH!
[Ella laughing]
Tim says, THERE YOU GO, IS THAT COOL?
Reu says, YEAH!
Tim says, YEAH, WELL DONE, GUYS! WE'VE REUSED.
[Cheerful music plays]
The narrator asks, HOW DID THE GRIMWADES GO GREEN TODAY?
In a flashback, the Grimwades visit Cheryl at the fire station.
The narrator says, THEY REUSED. AT THE FIRE STATION, THEY SAW HOW FIRE HOSES ARE REUSED, WHILE BACK AT HOME THEY REUSED THEIR WELLINGTON BOOTS TO MAKE PLANT POTS.
In the house, the Grimwades stand in the entryway.
Ella says, I'M SO HAPPY WITH OUR GARDEN.
Tim says, ME, TOO.
Hosanna nods and says, YEAH.
Tim says, AND YOU KNOW WHAT, GUYS? WE LEARNED SOMETHING ELSE TODAY, DIDN'T WE?
The children say, YUP.
Tim asks, ARE YOU READY TO PRACTICE OUR FIRE DRILL?
The children say, YES!
Tim says, THREE, TWO, ONE, GET OUT!
He opens the side door, and the children run outside.
The narrator says, THAT'S RIGHT, QUICK AS YOU CAN, BUT CAREFULLY, AND ONCE YOU'RE OUT, HEZE, WHAT DO YOU DO?
In the driveway, Heze says, STAY OUT AND CALL 999.
At the door, Tim says, WELL DONE, GRIMWADE GANG.
The Grimwades all say, WE'VE GONE GREEN!

Reu says, YEAH!
Heze says, YES PLEASE.
Tim says, YEAH!
Harper and Hosanna nod.
Cheryl says, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO BE REALLY QUICK.
Heze says, OKAY.
Tim says, ALRIGHT.
Cheryl says, COME ON, THEN!
She taps an icon of a firetruck on a monitor.
The narrator says, YOUR TIME STARTS NOW!
Cheryl says, QUICK!
Tim says, LET'S GO! GO, GO, GO, GO, GO!
Ella says, QUICK, QUICK, QUICK!
The Grimwades run out of the room. A timer starts counting the time.
[Timer ticking]
[Horn honking]
The narrator says, THIS ISN'T AN EMERGENCY AT THE MOMENT. THIS IS A TURNOUT DRILL.
The Grimwades meet Cheryl by one of the firetrucks. They watch Cheryl take off her shoes and put on her boots. A black-haired firefighter runs in and climbs in the truck. A brown-haired firefighter joins Cheryl. The timer reads, “10 seconds.”
The narrator says, WHEN THE FIREFIGHTERS PRACTICE HOW QUICKLY THEY CAN GET INTO THE FIRE ENGINE.
In the driver’s seat, the black-haired firefighter closes the door and puts on his seatbelt. The timer reads, “15 seconds.”
[Timer ticking]
The narrator says, THE DRIVER'S READY.
In her turn-out pants, boots and coat, Chery grabs her shoes and climbs in the truck. The brown-haired firefighter pulls on his turnout pants.
The narrator says, CHERYL AND THE OTHERS HAVE TO CHANGE INTO THE CLOTHING THAT WILL KEEP THEM SAFE IN A FIRE AS QUICKLY AS THEY CAN.
The brown-haired firefighter pulls on his coat and joins Cheryl in the truck. The timer reads, “23 seconds.” Blue lights flash through the station.
[Timer ticking]
The narrator says, BLUE LIGHTS AND SIREN ON…
[Siren wailing]
The brown-haired firefighter pulls his door closed. The timer reads, “25 seconds.”
The narrator says, …AND AWAY THEY GO.
Tim says, WAVE BYE, REU.
The firefighters leave the station in the firetruck. The timer reads, “30 seconds.”
The narrator says, WOW, THAT WAS FAST!
[Light, cheerful music plays]
Title: Go Green with the Grimwades. Later in the fire station, Cheryl wears a helmet with her gear.
[Dinging]

She sings, AND REUSING YOUR CUP.
In the driveway, Heze sits on the doorstep with Reu. He pulls the ladder on the toy firetruck.
Heze says, OPEN THE LADDER!

Reu moves his fingers up the ladder.
