In an animation, Andy, a garbologist with brown hair and beard, drives a small truck through a garbage dump. The truck's roof has a propeller and a solar panel. A wide broom is on the truck's underside. On the side are a tool panel, a vacuum hose, a garbage bin, recycling bins for food and electronic waste, and a blue bin for paper, cans, and bottles.

[Upbeat music plays, tires screeching]

Andy says, YOU WANNA KNOW A SECRET? SOME OF THE BEST STORIES CAN BE FOUND IN YOUR STINKY, SLIMY, ROTTEN TRASH. DON'T BELIEVE ME? CHECK THIS OUT!

The truck takes off. Smiling garbage gathers.

Title: Garbology.

[Whirring, upbeat music continues]

Andy lands the truck on top of a trash pile.

Andy says, LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO THE JUICE BOX SEXTUPLETS: ABBY APPLE, AXEL APRICOT, GWEN GUAVA, OONA ORANGE, PETEY PAPAYA, AND PEDRO PINEAPPLE!

Oona leaps into Andy’s hands. On the ground, the other juice boxes surround him.

[Boinging, giggling]

Andy says, THE FRUIT PUNCH BUNCH.

Abby says, HEY!

Axel says, HI!

Gwen says, HELLO.

Petey says, GREETINGS.

Pedro says, WHAT UP?

[Oona spitting]

Andy says, VERY NICE. SO, JUICE BOXES ARE CREATED BY PRESSING TOGETHER PAPER, PLASTIC, AND ALUMINUM INTO RECTANGULAR BRICK SHAPES.

A machine flattens a log, a plastic cup, and an aluminum sheet. Mechanical arms press the items together to create a guava juice box.

[Whirring, stamping, boinging]

Andy says, JUICE BOXES LIVE A LONG LIFE. SCIENCE SAYS IT TAKES THEM 300 YEARS TO DECOMPOSE.

Axel says, SWEET!

Abby says, OKAY.

Gwen says, WOW.

Petey says, COOL BEANS.

Pedro says, RIGHT ON.

[Oona spitting]

Andy says, ACTUALLY, IT'S NOT SO COOL, AND THEY'RE VERY HARD TO RECYCLE TOO. THE PARTS THEY'RE MADE OF ARE ALMOST INSEPARABLE.

Andy picks up a hose attached to his truck and sprays water on Gwen.

[Creaking, spraying, Gwen giggling]

Gwen says, IT TICKLES!

Gwen slides backwards and separates into plastic, paper, a straw, and aluminum.

Andy says, THEY HAVE TO BE BLASTED AND MUSHED UP IN WATER UNTIL THE LAYERS OF STUFF THEY ARE MADE OF SEPARATE, BUT IT TAKES A LOT OF ENERGY AND WATER.

Andy puts the hose away and Oona jumps back into his hands.

[Clanking, boinging]

Andy says, BUT FOR THOSE THAT CAN'T BE HYDRO-PULPED, THEY DON'T HAVE TO END UP IN THE TRASH. JUICE BOXES CAN BE REUSED IN MANY, MANY ARTS AND CRAFTS PROJECTS, LIKE A PINHOLE CAMERA, A BIRDFEEDER, A PLANTER, A PUPPET, A TOY BOAT, A WALLET, A PHONE HOLDER, OR A VAMPIRE BAT.

As Andy lists the projects, they appear.

[Whooshing, zinging]

Andy says, AND THAT'S THE STORY OF A JUICE BOX.

The juice boxes hop excitedly into the blue bin.

[Boinging]

They cheer, WOW! WOOHOO! HIYA! I CAN FLY!

Pedro says, GOOD STORY.

[Oona spitting]

Andy asks, ALL RIGHTY, THEN, WHO WANTS TO GO FOR A RIDE?

All the juice boxes say, ME!

Andy says, INSTEAD OF USING A JUICE BOX, WHY NOT TRY A REUSABLE BOTTLE THAT YOU CAN REFILL WITH YOUR FAVOURITE DRINK?

[Oona spitting]

Andy says, I HAD A FEELING YOU'D SAY THAT. REMEMBER, KIDS: REDUCE, REUSE, REPURPOSE, AND RECYCLE.

[Upbeat music plays]

He jumps into his truck.

[Grunting]

Andy says, SMELL YOU LATER.

Andy flies off of the trash pile.

[Whirring]

[Upbeat music plays]
