Hector says, IT'S JUST A ROUTINE CHECKUP, BABOU. DON'T WORRY.

[Hector whistling, lock clicking]

Hector unlocks the clinic door.

Tommy says, HELLO, HECTOR!

Hector says, HELLO, TOMMY!

[Babou exclaiming, door clicking]

Hector says, HMM? HEY! BABOU, OPEN THE DOOR! BABOU! ARGH!

[Banging, Hector grumbling]

On the plains, Audrey stands on a rock in front of a seated elephant calf. She holds a peanut between her teeth, and the calf sucks the peanut out with their trunk.

[Elephant trumpeting, Audrey laughing, upbeat music plays]

Audrey says, YAY! WELL DONE, EESHA!

[Clapping, elephant trumpeting, Audrey giggling]

Tommy says, HI, AUDREY!

Audrey says, HUH?

Tommy says, DO YOU WANT TO PLAY FRISBEE? TRY TO CATCH THIS!

[Whooshing]

Tommy throws a Frisbee at Audrey.

Audrey says, GOT IT! THAT WAS EASY.

Tommy says, YOU CAUGHT IT LIKE A PRO!

[Jack grunting]

Jack runs to Audrey.

Audrey and Tommy say, HUH?

[Jack grunting]

Audrey asks, WHAT'S WRONG, JACK? SICK? WAIT, WHO'S SICK?!

[Jack grunting, Tommy panting]

Jack runs, and Tommy and Audrey follow him.

Audrey says, JACK!

[Sascha bleating, sad music plays]

Sascha, a saiga, lies on the ground in a wooden shelter.

Audrey says, OH, NO! IT LOOKS LIKE SASHA'S NOT FEELING WELL. DON'T WORRY, INGA. I'M HERE. HMM? HMM... I THINK HE'S GOT A TEMPERATURE. MY DAD SHOULD SEE HIM.

[Footsteps pattering]

Tommy says, I'LL GO AND GET HIM!

[Jack grunting, Inga bleating aggressively, stomping]

Ingo stands between Jack and Sascha.

Audrey says, INGA? YOU KNOW THAT SASHA AND JACK ARE FRIENDS. HE JUST WANTS TO KNOW HOW HIS BUDDY'S DOING.

[Inga bleating]

Audrey says, I'M SORRY, JACK, BUT I GET THE FEELING INGA DOESN'T WANT YOU NEAR HER BROTHER.

[Footsteps rustling, Sascha groaning, Jack grunting]

Audrey says, HE'LL BE BETTER SOON, OKAY? BUT KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FOR NOW. MY DAD'LL BE HERE ANY MINUTE.

[Jack vocalizing, water gushing, vehicle engine rumbling, clicking]

Jack looks at his reflection in the water pooled at the base of a waterfall. Hector arrives with Tommy and jumps out of his vehicle.

Hector says, AUDREY!

[Footsteps rustling, dramatic music plays, Inga huffing, rustling]

Hector runs towards Audrey and Sascha. Inga blocks his path and rears up on her back legs.

Hector says, WHOA. EASY NOW. CALM DOWN. IT'S ME, INGA. YOU KNOW ME. I'M HERE TO HELP SASHA. IT'S OKAY, I GET IT. I'LL STAY BACK.

Audrey says, INGA REACTED THE SAME WAY WITH JACK. SHE'S WORRIED ABOUT SASHA.

Hector says, IN THAT CASE, I'M GONNA NEED YOUR HELP, DR. AUDREY! COULD YOU CHECK SASHA'S BREATHING AND EYES FOR ME?

[Inga grumbling]

Inga paces in front of Hector and Tommy.

Audrey says, HE'S SWEATING A BIT. HE'S BREATHING NORMALLY. BUT HIS EYES LOOK ALL RED!

[Sascha sneezing, Audrey exclaiming]

Audrey says, AH! AND HE JUST SNEEZED.

Hector says, HMM... IT SEEMS TO ME THAT SASHA HAS CAUGHT WHAT WE DOCTORS COMMONLY CALL... A COLD.

Audrey says, SASHA HAS A COLD?!

Hector says, YES. I'LL PREPARE SOME VITAMINS TO HELP HIM GET BETTER. HE'LL BE GOOD IN A DAY OR TWO. UH, DR. AUDREY, COULD YOU STAY WITH HIM TO MAKE SURE HE STAYS CALM?

[Inga grumbling, Tommy giggling]

Audrey says, AFFIRMATIVE! DOCTORS AUDREY AND TOMMY WILL STAY BY SASHA'S SIDE TILL YOU COME BACK!

[Inga snorting]

Hector says, THANKS, DR. AUDREY. CALL ME IF YOU NEED ME! I'LL BE BACK AS SOON AS I CAN!

[Inga bleating]

Audrey says, I KNOW YOU'RE WORRIED, INGA. BUT SASHA WILL BE BETTER SOON. PROMISE.

Tommy says, UH, AUDREY. INGA'S NOT THE ONLY ONE WORRIED ABOUT SASHA.

[Jack grunting, birds chirping, rustling]

Jack watches Sascha from a distance. He rubs his face.

Audrey says, OH, NO. HE SEEMS REALLY UPSET. DON'T WORRY, JACK. SASHA WILL BE BETTER SOON.

[Sascha groaning, Jack grunting, Inga grumbling, gentle music plays]

Audrey says, NO, JACK. INGA DOESN'T WANT YOU GETTING TOO CLOSE.

[Jack vocalizing]

Audrey says, MM.

Tommy says, BUT, AUDREY, JACK SEEMS REALLY UPSET. WE'VE GOTTA DO SOMETHING.

Audrey says, YOU'RE RIGHT. LET'S TRY TO DISTRACT HIM WHILE WE WAIT FOR MY DAD.

Tommy says, UH... YOUR DAD ASKED US TO STAY WITH SASHA AND KEEP HIM CALM.

Audrey says, SASHA'S ASLEEP. AT LEAST THIS WAY, HE CAN REST. YOU COMING, JACK? LET'S GO PLAY OVER THERE. HMM?

[Audrey grunting]

Jack stares at Sascha. Audrey pulls on his arms and pushes him.

Tommy says, HMM.

[Thumping]

Audrey falls.

Audrey says, OH!

Tommy says, OKAY, WELL, I GUESS WE'LL PLAY HERE.

[Whooshing]

Audrey stands up.

Audrey says, HMM. OKAY!

The Frisbee flies past Jack, who watches Sascha sleep.

Tommy says, HEY, JACK, CATCH!

[Thumping]

The Frisbee bounces off Jack’s shoulder.

[Audrey grumbling]

Audrey says, AH!

Audrey hangs off a giraffe’s neck and dangles bananas in front of Jack’s face.

[Slide whistle, whooshing, upbeat music plays]

Audrey says, MM...

Tommy shrugs at Audrey.

Tommy says, OH. MM-MM.

[Munching, Tommy panting]

Eesha sits between Jack and Sascha. Audrey feels her an apple as Tommy runs past, kicking a soccer ball.

Audrey says, OH?

[Tommy laughing, Eesha trumpeting, footsteps thumping]

Eesha stands and follows Tommy.

Audrey says, AH! NO, WAIT!

[Audrey grumbling]

Later, Jack holds a rope, and Audrey and Tommy pull on the other end.

[Rope creaking, groaning, Sascha sneezing, whooshing, Jack grunting, exclaimations]

Sascha sneezes, and Jack drops the rope. He runs towards Sascha, and Tommy and Audrey fall backward onto the ground.

[Tommy groaning, static crackling]

Tommy takes out a walkie-talkie.

Via walkie-talkie, Hector says, HELLO, KIDS? HOW'S OUR SICK FRIEND DOING?

[Gentle music plays]

Tommy replies, UH, HE'S DOING WELL. NOTHING TO REPORT, HECTOR. EVERYTHING'S UNDER CONTROL. OVER.

Outside the Veterinary clinic, Hector says, Hector says, GOOD TO HEAR. BECAUSE IT'S GONNA TAKE A BIT LONGER TO PREP THE VITAMINS THAN I THOUGHT. UH, OVER.

[Birds chirping, banging]

Hector knocks on the door of the clinic.

Hector says, I'M BEGGING YOU, BABOU! LET ME IN!

[Clattering]

Hector peers through the clinic window.

Hector says, BABOU! NO, DON'T TOUCH! PUT THE BOX DOWN! OH, THOSE ARE MEDICAL SUPPLIES, NOT TOYS! OH...

[Clattering, scraping, thumping]

Babou dumps medical supplies on the floor. Hector leans against the window, which slides open, and he falls to the ground.

Hector says, GRRR! WHOA!

[Rustling]

Hector climbs through the window.

Hector says, NOW I CAN GET THOSE VITAMINS!

On the plains, Audrey stands in front of Jack with her arms spread.

[Jack grunting, Audrey exclaiming, gentle music plays]

Audrey says, I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO!

Tommy says, I'M NOT SURE HE'S GONNA BE ABLE TO RELAX UNTIL SASHA'S RECOVERED!

Jack slaps his hands against the ground.

[Vocalizing, thumping]

Audrey says, LOOK AT HIM! WE CAN'T KEEP HIM WAITING. WE'VE GOTTA LET HIM SEE SASHA!

Tommy says, HUH? YOU JOKING? INGA'S STANDING GUARD. HE CAN'T GET NEAR HIM.

[Inga bleating, snorting]

Audrey asks, WHAT IF WE CREATE A DIVERSION?

Tommy asks, HUH? WHEN YOU SAY "WE," DO YOU MEAN...?

Tommy points at himself.

Audrey says, THAT'S RIGHT, TOMMY. THANKS!

[Bleating, Audrey giggling]

Tommy says, BUT INGA SNORTS AT ME ALL THE TIME. SHE SCARES ME. OH!

[Rustling, Tommy yelping]

Audrey holds out mugwort.

Audrey says, HERE. YOU COULD TRY USING MUGWORT. THE SAIGAS LOVE IT!

[Birds chirping, footsteps rustling]

Tommy says, UH... ALRIGHT. EEEE...

[Sascha snoring]

Inga lies on the ground and watches Sascha sleep. Tommy approaches behind her.

Tommy says, UH, HELLO, INGA.

[Laughing nervously, Inga bleating]

Tommy says, UH, HOW IS SASHA?

[Inga grumbling, Tommy exclaiming, thumping, leaves rustling]

Tommy says, IT'S OKAY. LOOK. I BROUGHT YOU SOME DELICIOUS MUGWORT LEAVES! YUMMY-YUMMY-YUM! HMM?

[Chomping, bleating]

Inga eats the leaves.

Tommy says, WHOA! IT REALLY WORKS! OKAY, NOW FOLLOW ME. THAT'S IT. YES.

[Sascha snoring]

Tommy leads Inga away from Sascha. Audrey kneels beside Sascha and waves Jack over.

Audrey says, C'MON, JACK! THE COAST IS CLEAR! YOU CAN HAVE A QUICK LOOK TO SEE THAT SASHA ISN'T IN DANGER.

[Jack vocalizing, Sascha bleating softly]

Sascha wakes up and looks at Jack.

Audrey says, HMM? SHHH. NOT A SOUND, JACK! WE DON'T WANT INGA TO HEAR YOU. C'MON. WE'VE GOTTA LET HIM REST.

[Jack vocalizing, Sascha bleating, rustling, happy music notes play]

Sascha stands and rubs his head against Jack’s hand.

Audrey says, NO, SASHA, STOP! LIE BACK DOWN! YOU'VE GOTTA SAVE YOUR STRENGTH!

[Jack vocalizing]

Audrey says, HMM? ALRIGHT. BUT JUST FOR FIVE MINUTES.

Tommy leads Inga further away.

Tommy says, YES. THAT'S IT. YES. GOOD GIRL, INGA.

[Tommy laughing]

Tommy says, YOU'RE A NICE SAIGA. KEEP FOLLOWING ME.

[Tommy laughing, Sascha bellowing, Inga snorting]

Inga looks back towards Sascha.

Tommy says, UH-OH. HEY! LOOK AT THIS, INGA! WHO WANTS A YUMMY MUGWORT?

[Leaves rustling]

Inga takes a bite of the mugwort and then runs away.

Tommy says, MM... OH!

[Inga bleating]

Tommy says, NO! INGA! COME BACK...!

Audrey says, THIS TIME WE HAVE TO GO, JACK! I'M NOT KIDDING! INGA'S GONNA BE BACK SOON! AH!

[Dramatic music plays, bleating, Inga snorting, Jack vocalizing]

Inga arrives and stares at Jack. She rears up on her hind legs and charges at him. Jack beats his chest. Audrey runs between them, and Inga stops running.

Audrey says, JACK! INGA! CALM DOWN! STOP THIS NOW! YOU'RE GOING TO SCARE SASHA! AH!

Sascha looks nervously between Inga and Jack. Jack smashes his fists down on the ground.

[Inga bleating, Inga snorting, thumping]

Audrey says, JACK! NO!

[Hoofbeats]

Sascha runs away, and Inga follows him. They run past Tommy.

[Tommy panting, upbeat music plays]

Tommy says, SORRY. INGA... TOO FAST FOR ME!

[Tommy groaning]

Audrey says, WHERE ARE YOU RUNNING OFF TO, SASHA?! HEY! OH...

At the clinic, Hector gets into his vehicle.

[Rustling, Hector sighing]

Over the walkie-talkie, Audrey says, DAD? WE'VE GOT A PROBLEM! SASHA AND INGA TOOK OFF INTO THE PLAIN!

Over the walkie-talkie, Hector replies, HUH? WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED? I'LL BE RIGHT THERE!

[Static crackling, dramatic music notes play]

Hector notices his keys are not in the ignition.

Hector says, HMM? MM-MM? WHERE ARE THE KEYS?!

[Key jingling]

Babou sits atop the vehicle and dangles the keys in front of the windshield.

Hector says, OH, NO. BABOU! NOT AGAIN!

[Thumping, Babou hooting]

Babou jumps out of the vehicle and jumps through the clinic window.

Over the walkie-talkie, Hector says, UH, AUDREY, I'M GONNA BE A LITTLE LATE. CAN YOU HANDLE IT ‘TIL I GET THERE?

[Static crackling]

Over the walkie-talkie, Audrey says, UH... OKAY, BUT...GET HERE AS SOON AS YOU CAN, PLEASE.

[Rustling, panting, groaning]

Tommy staggers to a rock and leans against it.

Audrey says, WE'RE GONNA HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS OURSELVES. C'MON, TOMMY! YOU TOO, JACK!

[Jack vocalizing, footsteps rustling]

Jack follows Audrey.

Tommy says, OH, OKAY... COMING. AH! THIS COULD COME IN HANDY.

[Leaves rustling]

Tommy picks mugwort.

[Rustling, bleating]

On a narrow rocky outcropping, Sascha runs to a chasm, stops, and slides to the edge. He turns around and lies down. Inga runs to him.

Audrey says, THERE THEY ARE! OH! LOOK! SASHA LOOKS LIKE HE'S STUCK UP THERE!

Tommy says, OH, NO. I CAN'T RUN ANYMORE.

[Inga bleating, rustling, tense music plays]

Inga nudges Sascha.

Audrey says, IT’LL BE OKAY, INGA. WE'RE HERE TO HELP.

[Inga grunting, stomping]

Inga stands between Sascha and the others.

Audrey says, AH!

[Banging, rocks clattering, tense music plays]

Jack smashes his fists on the rocks. Inga rears up and slams her front legs down. Small rocks fall from the narrow rock path between them.

Audrey says, JACK! NO! OH, NO! BACK UP A BIT, JACK. INGA, YOU CAN'T STAY UP HERE! THE GROUND IS ABOUT TO COLLAPSE! TOMMY!

Tommy says, I’LL TAKE CARE OF IT!

[Footsteps rustling, Inga bleating, rustling]

Tommy runs close to Inga. She paws the grass.

Tommy says, HELLO, INGA. IT'S ME, THE NICE HUMAN WHO'S GOT LOTS OF MUGWORT LEAVES JUST FOR YOU.

[Bleating]

Tommy holds out the mugwort, and Inga follows him across the rocks.

Tommy says, COME ON, GIRL. COME ON, GIRL. WHO'S A GOOD GIRL? THAT'S IT. EVERYTHING'S GONNA BE FINE. LITTLE BIT MORE.

[Tommy giggles, rocks crashing]

Tommy leads Inga past Jack and Audrey. The rocks collapse, leaving Sascha on the other side of the outcropping.

Audrey says, NO! SACHA!

[Plaintive bleating, soft music plays]

Audrey kneels by the edge of the chasm and looks across at Sascha.

Tommy says, AUDREY! HOW ARE WE GONNA RESCUE HIM?

[Soft bleating]

Audrey says, HUH?

[Tree creaking, leaves rustling, thumping heroic music plays]

Jack pulls a tree up and lays it across the chasm.

Audrey says, WOW! GREAT IDEA, JACK! THANK YOU!

[Jack grunting, bleating, vehicle engine humming]

Hector arrives and gets out of his vehicle.

Tommy says, HUH?

Hector says, HMM?

[Tree creaking]

Audrey carefully steps on the tree.

Audrey says, ALRIGHT, SASHA, COME TO ME. DON'T BE SCARED.

[Shivering, soft bleating, rustling, gentle music plays]

Sascha’s front legs shake as he stands.

Hector says, SLOWLY, AUDREY. TAKE YOUR TIME.

[Tree creaking]

Audrey backs up, and Sascha follows her.

Audrey says, YOU'RE A VERY BRAVE SAIGA! YES, THAT'S IT. KEEP GOING! YAY!

[Creaking, crashing, bleating]

Sascha steps onto the other side of the rock outcropping, and the tree falls into the chasm.

[Audrey cheering, Jack grunting]

Hector says, THAT WAS GREAT!

Tommy cheers, WOO HOO!

[Inga bleating]

Inga runs up to rocks to where Jack pets Sascha.

Tommy says, HUH?

Audrey says, HMM?

[Soft bleating, Audrey chuckling]

Inga walks to Jack and rubs her head against him.

[Jack vocalizing, Inga bleating]

Tommy says, AW. IT LOOKS LIKE INGA'S SAYING THANKS, JACK.

[Tommy chuckling]

Hector asks, WHO'S READY FOR A NICE DOSE OF VITAMINS?

[Rustling, Sascha bleating, upbeat music plays]

Later, at the wooden shelter, Hector gives Sascha an injection.

Hector says, THERE. THERE YOU GO. IT'S DONE. IN A COUPLE OF DAYS, YOU'LL BE AS GOOD AS NEW, SASHA.

Tommy says, YEAH.

[Hoofbeats, Inga bleating, Hector chuckling]

Inga runs to Sascha and jumps up and down.

Hector says, HMM.

[Upbeat music plays, footsteps rustling]

The sun rises as Tommy and Audrey walk towards the wooden enclosure.

Audrey says, I HOPE SASHA'S FEELING BETTER TODAY.

[Snorting, bleating]

Inga and Sascha walk out of the wooden shelter.

Tommy says, HMM? LOOK! YOUR DAD WORKED MIRACLES AGAIN! SASHA LOOKS GREAT!

[Hoofbeats]

Sascha runs to Audrey, and Inga runs to Tommy.

Audrey says, HELLO, YOU TWO.

Tommy says, HELLO, INGA.

[Audrey giggling, Jack grunting, clapping]

Jack steps out of the wooden enclosure, holding the Frisbee.

Tommy says, GO ON, JACK! THROW IT TO ME!

[Jack grunting, whooshing]

Jack throws the Frisbee over Tommy’s head.

Tommy says, AH! WHOA! THAT WAS A BIT FAR, JACK.

[Hoofbeats, Tommy laughing, Jack vocalizing]

Sascha, Inga, and Jack run past Tommy.

Audrey asks, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? LET'S CATCH UP TO THEM!

[Tommy exclaiming]

Audrey grabs Tommy’s hand and pulls him into a run.

Tommy says, WHOA! SERIOUSLY?! THIS ISN'T FAIR! I COULD RUN AS FAST AS THAT IF I HAD FOUR FEET!
