Audrey pulls leaves to the side and reveals Tommy in a clearing with Jack, a giraffe, an elephant, and a gazelle.

Singers sing, THIS IS AUDREY'S SHELTER.

Title: Audrey’s Shelter.

Episode title: Red Panda Mania.

Text reads, “Story Edited by Thomas Personeni. Written by Daniel Gonzales. Storyboard by Terry David.”

[Upbeat music plays, birds chirping, bicycle rattling]

The tall iron gates in front of the Shelter are open. Tommy rides his bicycle down the path and stops in front of the greenhouse. Audrey waits at the door with a big smile.

[Tommy panting]

Tommy says, HEY, AUDREY! I GOT HERE AS FAST AS I COULD! WHAT'S THE NEW ANIMAL?

Audrey says, JUST YOU WAIT! IT'S A SURPRISE!

[Whooshing]

Audrey grabs Tommy’s hand and yanks him into the greenhouse.

Tommy says, WHOA, WHOA!

[Audrey laughing, animals calling]

In the greenhouse, Tommy stands with his hand on his chin.

Tommy says, HMM?

[Branch creaking, thumping, upbeat music plays]

Audrey hangs upside down from a branch beside Tommy. She drops to the ground.

Audrey asks, SO? DO YOU SEE IT?

[Animals squeaking, chittering]

Tommy says, MMM...UH...I SEE YOKO...JACK...JILOU...PAT...HMM.

[Scraping, squeaking]

A red panda slides down a tree.

Tommy says, THERE'S YOKO, AGAIN! I DON'T GET IT. WHERE IS IT?

[Audrey laughing]

Audrey says, RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!

Tommy says, WHADDYA MEAN, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME?

[Squeaking]

Tommy says, AH!

Audrey says, UH, TOMMY, MAY I INTRODUCE YOU TO LITCHI?!

[Cooing]

Tommy says, HANG ON. WE'VE GOT TWO RED PANDAS AT THE REFUGE AT THE SAME TIME? THAT MEANS WE'RE ABOUT TO HAVE...

Both say, RED PANDA BABIES!

Audrey says, THEY'RE GONNA BE SO ADORABLE! IT'S GONNA BE SO AWESOME!

Tommy says, IT'S VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE PRESERVATION OF THE SPECIES TOO! THERE'S NOT A LOT OF RED PANDAS LEFT. WHEN ARE THE BABIES COMING?

Audrey says, WELL... GOOD QUESTION.

[Birds chirping, upbeat music plays]

Elsewhere in the greenhouse, Sonia paces.

Sonia says, GO TO A MOVIE? HMM, NO. THAT'S BORING. MAYBE A NICE ROMANTIC STROLL?

[Walkie-talkie crackling]

Over the walkie-talkie, Audrey says, MOM? COME IN, MOM!

Speaking into the walkie-talkie, Sonia says, AUDREY?

Over the walkie-talkie, Audrey asks, WHEN ARE THE BABY RED PANDAS COMING?

Speaking into the walkie-talkie, Sonia says, WHAT? OH, UH... I DON'T KNOW. THAT'S NOT REALLY SOMETHING WE CAN CONTROL, SWEETIE. ALL WE CAN DO IS CROSS OUR FINGERS. UH... WELL, UH, OKAY, GOTTA RUN!

[Sonia laughing]

In the clearing, Audrey says, CROSS OUR FINGERS?! THAT'S NOT GONNA HELP THEM. WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING TO MAKE SURE THEY FALL IN LOVE!

Tommy asks, THEY WON'T FALL IN LOVE BY THEMSELVES?

[Rustling, squeaking]

Yoko jumps off a tree stump. She and Litchi look at each other and run in opposite directions.

Tomy says, OH... I SEE.

Audrey says, JACK! WE NEED YOUR HELP!

[Munching, whooshing, snorting, children giggling]

Jack throws a banana peel over his shoulder. Elsewhere in the jungle, Pat holds a birdhouse up against a tree.

[Chuckling, rustling, humming]

Pat says, PERFECT.

Pat holds a nail against the tree and swings her hammer.

Sonia says, HELLO, PAT!

[Thunking, birds chirping, gentle music plays]

Pat hits her hand.

Pat says, AH! HELLO, SONIA.

Sonia says, OH, SORRY. TELL ME, PAT... I WAS JUST WONDERING, FOR NO REASON, WHAT WOULD YOU DO TO CELEBRATE SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT FOR TWO PEOPLE?

Pat asks, YOU MEAN YOUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY?

[Whooshing]

Sonia looks around.

Sonia says, SHH!

Pat says, HUH? ISN'T IT TODAY? HECTOR'S BEEN TALKING ABOUT IT FOR WEEKS!

Sonia says, WELL, GOOD FOR HIM! HE ALWAYS PLANS SOMETHING SUPER ROMANTIC, AND I, UH... FORGET. BUT THIS TIME, I'M GONNA SUPRISE HIM!

Pat says, WELL, LISTEN, I'M NOT SURE WHAT HUMANS DO, BUT I KNOW THAT FOR ANIMALS... FOOD IS ALWAYS A SAFE BET!

[Birds squawking]

A bird brings a worm to a second bird.

Sonia says, A NICE LITTLE MEAL FOR TWO! YES! PERFECT!

[Footsteps running, Pat humming]

Sonia runs away, and Pat puts the nail against the tree. She swings her hammer, and Sonia reappears. Pat hits her hand.

Sonia says, THANKS, PAT!

[Sonia chuckling uncomfortably]

[Rustling]

Elsewhere in the jungle, Jack holds a large palm frond. Audrey carries Litchi and puts him on the grass.

Audrey says, ALRIGHT, HERE WE ARE!

[Jack vocalizing, gentle music plays]

Audrey says, OKAY! NOW, IN THREE, TWO, ONE, SUPRISE!

Jack moves the frond and reveals Litchi stepping on Tommy’s face. Tommy puts Litchi on the ground, and Litchi stares at Yoko.

Tommy says, MMM, MMM!

Audrey says, HMM? LITCHI... THIS IS YOKO! SHE LOVES TO PLAY AND HAVE TONS OF FUN. WE'RE NEVER BORED WHEN WE'RE WITH HER!

[Rustling]

Yoko lies down.

Audrey says, HMM?

Tommy says, AND THIS IS LITCHI. HE REALLY LIKES CLIMBING TREES. THERE'S NO ONE MORE SKILLFUL THAN HIM!

[Rustling, Tommy laughing]

Litchi lies on his back.

Tommy says, WHAT A LITTLE GOOFBALL! HUH?

[Squeaking, tense music plays]

Yoko approaches Litchi.

Tommy says, OH...

[Sniffing]

Tommy says, I THINK IT'S WORKING!

[Squealing]

Yoko and Litchi run away from each other.

Tommy says, HUH? OH...

Audrey says, WAIT! WHAT DID WE DO WRONG?

[Hammering, exclamations]

Pat shouts, OW!

Pat sucks on her thumb.

[Joyo squealing, grunting, bees buzzing, gentle music plays]

Joyo rubs against a tree.

The children say, HMM...

Tommy says, UH... WE MIGHT NEED NICER AMBIENCE FOR THEIR DATE.

[Audrey sighing]

Audrey asks, WHAT IS NICE AMBIENCE FOR A RED PANDA?

[Match flicking, water sloshing, clapping]

By a waterfall, Sonia lights a candle. She looks down at a table set for two.

Sonia says, THERE WE GO! PERFECT!

[Fluttering]

Sonia shoos a butterfly away from the candle.

Sonia says, SHOO! BE CAREFUL, YOU'RE GONNA BURN YOUR WINGS!

[Blowing, clanking, high-pitched screeching]

Sonia blows out the candle. Jilou jumps on the table and picks up a fork.

Sonia says, JILOU, NO! UGH!

[Clattering, hooting, thudding]

Sonia takes a knife away from Jilou. Jilou runs away, and Babou swings on fairy lights. The lights fall, and Babou falls to the ground.

[Babou grunting, Sonia gasping, lights rattling]

Babou runs away with the lights wrapped around him.

Sonia says, UGH! BABOU! COME BACK!

[Thudding]

Sonia chases Babou. Another animal lands on the table, and it falls. Sonia returns, dragging the lights.

Sonia says, HUH?

Elsewhere, Audrey says, MMM...

[Scratching, grunting]

Audrey watches Joyo scratch against the tree. Tommy walks to her with an open book.

Tommy says, LOOK, AUDREY! IF WE TRY AND RE-CREATE THEIR NATURAL HABITAT, THE HIMALAYA'S, MAYBE THEY'LL FEEL A LITTLE BIT MORE RELAXED!

[Both giggling, scratching, grunting, squealing, hooves dragging, thudding, giggling]

Audrey pushes Joyo across a clearing. He walks away, and Audrey falls to the ground.

[Upbeat music plays, spoons clanking, Jilou screeching]

On a tree branch, Jilou taps spoons together. Pat readies her hammer to hit a nail into the tree, and a spoon replaces her hammer. Jilou runs away.

Pat says, HUH? HEY! JILOU! COME BACK HERE!

[Audrey giggling, rustling, Audrey groaning, Joyo grunting, spade clattering]

On the tree branch, Audrey holds the hammer. Later, she holds her nose and dumps a spade full of brown sludge towards a wheelbarrow. The sludge falls on Joyo, who walks past her. Audrey drops the spade and chases him.

Audrey says, HEY!

[Struggling grunts]

Audrey grits her teeth and rolls a large rock. Tommy sweats and tries to lift a rock. Jack smiles and carries a large rock on his shoulder. Jack picks up Tommy and the rock and carries them on his other shoulder.

Tommy says, AH?

[Tommy laughing]

[Rustling, clanking, shouting, thumping, upbeat music continues]

Tommy and Audrey spread a sheet across a string. Tommy backs into a bucket and trips backwards.

Tommy says, WHOA!

[Groaning, book rustling, birds calling, book slamming shut]

Audrey and Tommy look at their newly created habitat. A picture of mountains hangs on the string, and rocks cluster in front of it.

Audrey says, AND THE FINAL TOUCH...

[Beeping]

Audrey taps a play arrow on a tablet.

A computer voice says, TRACK TWO. RELAXING SOUNDS OF THE HIMALAYAN FOREST.

[Serene music plays, birds chirping, rustling]

Audrey says, OH?

[Squeaking]

Yoko climbs onto a rock and sleeps.

Audrey says, OH!

Litchi climbs down a tree and enters the clearing.

Tommy says, OH!

Audrey says, IT WORKED!

Tommy says, WOULD YA LOOK AT THAT!

[Soft warbling, footsteps padding, rustling, snoring]

Litchi looks at Yoko and then curls up on the ground.

Audrey says, IT'S NOT WORKING!

Tommy says, SHH! MAYBE THEY'LL HAVE SWEET DREAMS ABOUT EACH OTHER.

[Snoring, whooshing]

Audrey says, HMM... UGH, NO... NO, THEY NEED TO DO SOMETHING THAT BONDS THEM TOGETHER. IT NEEDS TO BE ROMANTIC, LIKE...

Tommy says, LIKE HOLDING HANDS?

Audrey says, YES! BUT THE VERSION FOR ANIMALS.

[Gasping]

Audrey says, I KNOW! A MEAL!

Elsewhere, Hector walks with a sash tied over his eyes. Sonia walks behind, pushing him.

Hector asks, HOW MUCH FURTHER?

[Chuckling, cheerful music plays, birds calling]

Sonia says, WE'RE ALMOST THERE. ALRIGHT, HERE WE ARE!

Hector says, HMM? OH, A PICNIC! WITH, UH... HALF A PIZZA.

Sonia says, HALF?

[Babou chattering, splashing, vine creaking]

Babou hangs on a vine and picks up a slice of pizza.

Sonia says, OH NO, NOT YOU AGAIN! BABOU!

[Footsteps running, Sonia groaning]

Sonia chases Babou and returns with slumped shoulders.

Sonia says, I HAD IT SET UP SO NICELY BEFORE.

[Hector laughing]

Hector says, WHAT'RE YOU TALKING ABOUT, SWEETHEART, IT'S GREAT! REALLY. MMM! AND I LOVE FRESH PIZZA!

[Gulping, grunting]

Hector bites a piece of pizza. He drops it and grabs his throat.

Sonia says, OH STOP, IT'S NOT THAT BAD!

Hector says, I CAN'T... BREATH...

Sonia says, OH, UH... ARE YOU JOKING?

[Hector grunting]

Hector says, IT'S AN... ALLERGY!

Sonia puts Hector’s arm around her shoulder and leads him away from the picnic.

Sonia says, OH, YOU'RE NOT JOKING!

[Animals chittering, gentle music plays]

In a clearing, Jack, Audrey, and Tommy stand by two bowls of fruit and nuts. Litchi and Yoko approach the bowls from different directions.

Tommy says, AN ENTRÉE OF BAMBOO SALAD WITH FLAKED HAZELNUTS, MAGNOLIA PETALS, ACCOMPANIED, FOR YOUR PLEASURE, BY THE GREATEST STEW THAT-- HMM?

[Squealing, munching, Litchi growling]

Yoko and Litchi roll head over heels.

Audrey says, EASY NOW, LITCHI. NO! NO, DON'T FIGHT! JACK! DO SOMETHING!

[Jack vocalizing, thumping, squealing, Tommy groaning, birds twittering]

Jack hits the ground with his fists, and the two red pandas run away.

Audrey says, UGH, IT'S JUST GETTING WORSE AND WORSE! BEFORE, THEY IGNORED EACH OTHER, BUT AT LEAST NAPPED TOGETHER. NOW, THEY CAN'T STAND THE SIGHT OF EACH OTHER!

Tommy says, I THINK WE NEED TO CONSULT AN EXPERT.

Audrey says, AN EXPERT IN LOVE?

[Hector breathing heavily, clicking, gentle music plays]

In the Veterinary clinic, Hector sits with his throat extended. Soni peers through a microscope.

Sonia says, BABOU MUST'VE LEFT TINY PIECES OF NUTS ON THE PIZZA. THAT MUST'VE BEEN WHAT TRIGGERED YOUR ALLERGY. HOW ARE YOU FEELING?

[Slurping]

Sonia gives Hector a cup of water.

Hector, in a raspy voice, says, AWESOME, I'M IN PEAK FORM.

Sonia says, AH, I'M SO SORRY. I JUST WANTED A GREAT SURPRISE, BUT... OH?

[Door slamming open, dramatic music notes play, panting, grunting]

Audrey and Tommy run into the room.

Audrey says, DAD, MOM! WE NEED YOUR HELP! WE TRIED TO MAKE THEM LOVE EACH OTHER, BUT THEY JUST WANTED TO NAP, AND THEN THEY GOT INTO A HUGE FIGHT, AND NOW THEY HATE EACH OTHER, AND WE'RE NEVER GONNA HAVE RED PANDA BABIES!

Hector says, HMM?

Sonia says, HMM? UH, WHAT?

[Happy squealing, Hector and Sonia chuckling]

Yoko plays with Jilou.

Hector says, EVERYTHING SEEMS FINE.

Tommy says, WELL, IT WASN'T LIKE THAT BEFORE.

Sonia says, RED PANDAS ARE SOLITARY BY NATURE. WHEN THEY'RE NOT IN A COUPLE, THEY FIGHT EACH OTHER TO DEFEND THEIR TERRITORY. AND YOU TWO FORCED THEM TO BE IN THE SAME SPACE.

Tommy and Audrey say, HMM...

[Sad music plays]

Audrey asks, DOES THAT MEAN... THAT THEY'LL NEVER BE A FAMILY? BECAUSE OF US?

Sonia says, OH, NO... BUT IT'S UP TO THEM TO DECIDE, HONEY.

Tommy asks, SO THERE'S REALLY NOTHING WE CAN DO TO HELP?

[Rustling, children gasping, upbeat music plays]

Sonia unrolls a map of the greenhouse. She, Hector, Audrey, Jack, and Tommy look down at it.

Sonia says, OKAY... I MIGHT HAVE AN IDEA THAT COULD WORK. FIRST, WE'LL NEED TO KNOW THE EXACT LOCATION OF THEIR TERRITORIES.

[Leaves rustling, gulping water]

Audrey perches on Jack’s head, watching Yoko lick her paw. At the stream, Tommy watches Litchi drink.

[Tommy laughing, marker scraping, upbeat music continues]

Sonia draws two touching circles over a rocky outcropping on the map.

Sonia says, THAT WAY, WE CAN FIND A NEUTRAL ZONE WHERE THEY CAN MEET UP.

Hector says, WE'LL ALSO NEED A WAY TO LURE THEM THERE.

Audrey says, WE CAN MAKE ANOTHER BAMBOO SALAD!

Tommy puts a trail of bamboo pieces on the ground.

Sonia says, GOOD IDEA! AND WHILE YOU'RE LURING THEM TO THE NEUTRAL SITE...

Hector says, WE'LL MAKE SURE TO MAKE IT AS CALM AND WELCOMING AS POSSIBLE!

[Jack vocalizing, thumping]

Jack drops behind Tommy and picks up a piece of bamboo. He holds it over his open mouth, and Audrey appears with her hands on her hips.

Audrey says, AHEM...

[Jack vocalizing, sand rustling, Sonia chuckling]

Sonia skids to a stop beside Pat.

Sonia says, SHH!

Sonia runs past Pat.

[Pat grumbling]

[Hector imitating monkey hooting, Babou hooting]

Babou follows Hector towards stalks of bamboo.

Tommy asks, AND THEN?

Sonia says, AND THEN... WE WAIT.

[Birds chirping, bamboo rustling, upbeat music plays, rustling, warbling]

In a clearing in the bamboo, Tommy, Jack, Audrey, Sonia, and Hector hide behind a log. Litchi walks out from the bamboo.

Tommy says, THERE! IT'S WORKING!

[Munching]

Litchi eats a piece of bamboo.

Sonia says, GREAT! AND HERE'S YOKO!

[Happy warbling, munching, squeaking, tense music plays]

Yoko eats a piece of bamboo. She and Litchi look at each other, then he turns and walks away. Yoko sits down and watches him.

Tommy says, OH NO...

Audrey says, I CAN TRY AND CALL HIM BACK.

Sonia says, NO, WE CAN'T FORCE THEM, SWEETIE.

[Thumping, squeaking, rustling, gentle music plays]

Litchi picks a bamboo branch off a stalk and carries it to Yoko.

Tommy says, OH! LOOK AT THAT! OH! HE WENT TO GET HER SOME BAMBOO!

[Happy warbling, rustling, munching, smooching]

Yoko walks around Litchi. She picks up the branch, and they eat it together. They finish the branch, and their lips touch.

Everyone says, AW...

Audrey says, RED PANDA BABIES!

[Tommy giggling, upbeat music plays]

Sonia says, THAT, WE DON'T KNOW YET!

Audrey says, YES, I KNOW. WE CAN'T FORCE THINGS.

Hector hugs Sonia to his side.

Hector says, EXACTLY.

Hector and Sonia lean towards each other.

Both say, HMMM.

[Pat hammering]

Pat says, HMM? WHAT? I'M NOT ALLOWED TO DO MY WORK TODAY, THAT IT?

[Everyone laughing, Pat sighing, red pandas snoring]

In the clearing, Yoko and Litchi nap together.

Everyone says, AW...

A heart forms around Yoko and Litchi.

[Upbeat music plays]
