A flock of Canada geese fly over the Wilde Shelter, a tall greenhouse filled with plants and animals. The geese also fly over a veterinary clinic and a two-storey house.

Inside the greenhouse, Audrey, a young girl with red hair in a ponytail, stands on a tree branch. She wears a yellow jacket over an olive green shirt, black pants, and brown boots. Audrey whistles and startles butterflies. Standing on a rock nearby, Tommy watches Jack, a gorilla, land on the branch beside Audrey. Tommy wears a pale blue long-sleeve shirt and pale grey pants. His black curly hair is short.

Audrey swings on a vine with a golden lion tamarin clinging to her head. Tommy rides on Jack’s back as Jack swings from a second vine.
A person sings, OH, CAN YOU HEAR THEM, ANIMALS ARE CALLING. THEY ARE IN DANGER.
Audrey stands as she slides down a rock past Karl and Pat. Karl, a slender young man with black hair and eyeglasses, watches Audrey slide past. Pat bottle-feeds a large grey kitten with black spots. Her black hair is pulled into a ponytail. Tommy rides Jack down the rock.

The singer sings, NATURE'S OUR PASSION, READY FOR ACTION.
Audrey and Jack, still carrying Tommy, run past Jonas, a man with curly red hair. He lifts a rake over his head and spins as they pass.
[Whooshing, upbeat music continues]

Audrey pulls leaves to the side and reveals Tommy in a clearing with Jack, a giraffe, an elephant, and a gazelle.

The tall iron gates in front of the Shelter are open and Tommy rides his bicycle down the path. Audrey waits in front of the greenhouse with her hands on her hips.
Tommy says, HELLO, AUDREY!
Audrey says, YOU SURE TOOK YOUR TIME, TOMMY! MOM WANTS TO INTRODUCE US TO OUR NEW ADOPTEE!
Tommy says, SORRY. I CAME AS FAST AS I COULD. WHAT KIND OF ANIMAL IS IT?
Audrey says, NO IDEA. ALL I KNOW IS THAT IT'S A SURPRISE! OKAY, COME ON!
[Footsteps rustling, birds chirping, Sonia’s finger tapping]
In the greenhouse, Sonia stands beside a waist-high cardboard box. Hector and Jack wait nearby.
Audrey shouts, WE'RE COMING! WE'RE COMING!
[Jack vocalizing]
Audrey whispers to Tommy, DO YOU KNOW ANY ANIMALS THAT TRAVEL IN CARDBOARD BOXES?
Sonia says, AH, PAT! YOU'RE JUST IN TIME. COME OVER HERE!
[Marcelo screeching softly]
Pay carries Marcelo, a golden lion tamarin and a pail.
Pat says, IS IT GOING TO TAKE LONG? I FINALLY MANAGED TO CATCH MARCELO, AND HE NEEDS TO HAVE HIS TREATMENT.
Sonia says, NO, DON'T WORRY, IT'LL TAKE A SECOND. AND YOU'LL THANK ME AFTER!
[Rustling]
Sonia pushes Pat towards the box. She drops Marcele as she slides.
Audrey says, HM?
Sonia says, LET ME INTRODUCE...
[Thumping, bright music plays]
Sonia hits the top of the box, and it opens, revealing a robot with a solar panel and tank treads.
Sonia says, ANDY!
[Exclaiming, Jack vocalizing]
Audrey asks, UH, WHAT'S THAT?
Tommy says, SO AWESOME!
[Beeping, whirring]
Andy rolls to Jack.
Andy says, HELLO. MY NAME'S ANDY. WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU?
[Jack vocalizing]
Andy says, DIRT DETECTED.
[Beeping, whirring, splashing, Jack growling]
Andy says, CLEANING COMPLETED.
[Whirring, beeping, Jack vocalizing]
Andy retracts the hose. Jack stomps into the jungle.
Tommy says, WHOA!
Sonia says, ANDY'S GOING TO HELP PAT TAKE CARE OF THE ANIMALS AND HELP JONAS WITH THE PLANTS. SO, I WANT EVERYONE TO GIVE HIM A NICE, WARM WELCOME!
[Bright music notes play]
Hector and Tommy say, WELCOME, ANDY!
Audrey says, WELCOME, ANDY.
Pat says, I DON'T NEED ANY HELP. LEAST OF ALL FROM A...ROBOT.
Hector says, COME ON, PAT! WE ALL KNOW HOW OVERWHELMED YOU ARE. GIVE ANDY A CHANCE!
[Whirring, spraying, clanking, snipping]
Andy rolls to a bush, sprays it, and trims it.
Andy says, TRIMMING COMPLETED.
Hector says, WHO KNOWS? WITH A BIT OF TRAINING, HE COULD MAYBE HELP ME OUT IN THE CLINIC.
Sonia says, YES, AND HE COULD EVEN DO THE DISHES FOR YOU!
[Sonia and Hector laughing, footsteps rustling, leaves rustling, Andy whirring, beeping, vacuum whooshing]
Hector and Sonia walk towards the greenhouse exit. Andy vacuums leaves off the grass and scans the area around him.
Tommy says, ROBOTS ARE THE FUTURE, YOU KNOW.
Pat says, OKAY. LET'S SEE WHAT THIS TIN CAN CAN DO.
[Footsteps rustling, a bird chirping, wings flapping, munching, stream burbling, slurping, upbeat music plays, whirring, beeping, Jack vocalizing, rustling, vacuum whooshing]
Jack sits against a tree and eats a banana. A bird flies past him and perches on top of a birdhouse. Beneath the treehouse, an animal eats from a dish and another animal drinks from a stream. Andy rolls into the clearing, with Pat, Audrey, and Tommy following him. Andy scans the clearing and vacuums it.
Andy says, FRUIT PICKING IN PROGRESS.
[Whooshing, thumping, whirring]
Andy emits air from a hose, and fruit falls neatly into trays. Andy rolls away. Pat and Audrey watch open-mouthed.
Tommy says, WOW! THIS ROBOT KNOWS HOW TO DO EVERYTHING!
[Pat grumbling]
Audrey says, OH, ENOUGH, WE KNOW HOW TO DO THAT TOO!
[Whooshing, splatting, beeping, whirring, upbeat music plays]
Jack throws his banana peel on the ground, and Andy picks it up and offers Jack a new banana.
Andy says, FRESH BANANA. TASK COMPLETED.
[Whooshing, bell ringing, Pearl meowing, purring, clipping, whirring]
In an enclosure, Andy waves a bell in front of Pearl, the cloud leopard kitten. He trims a tree with a different extended hose. Pat, Tommy, and Audrey watch through the enclosure fence.
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
[Whirring, upbeat music plays, leaves rustling, Sophie squeaking]
Andy offers Sophie the sloth a branch with leaves.
Andy says, LEAVES?
[Cawing, whirring, seeds rustling]
Two birds land on the same rock. Andy picks one up and moves it. He puts bird seed on the ground, and the two birds eat it.
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
Tommy says, THIS ROBOT'S REALLY INCREDIBLE!
Audrey grumbles, HMM...
[Pat sighing, Marcelo screeching, tense music plays, footsteps rustling]
Elsewhere in the jungle, Marcelo walks beneath birdhouses. Andy, Tommy, Audrey, and Pat arrive.
Tommy says, I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH THIS ROBOT IS CAPABLE OF DOING!
Pat says, OH, MARCELLO, THIS TIME, YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET AWAY!
[Rustling, whirring]
Pat takes a bottle out of her vest. Andy grabs the bottle, grabs Marcelo, and feeds him.
Pat says, OH?
Audrey and Tommy say, HUH?
[Gulping, gentle music plays, Pat sighing, footsteps rustling]
Andy rocks Marcelo and feeds him. Pat watches and her shoulders slump. She turns and walks away.
Audrey says, HUH? I GET THE FEELING PAT'S NOT VERY HAPPY WITH ANDY BEING HERE.
Tommy says, WELL, SHE'LL GET USED TO IT QUICK, HE'LL MAKE HER LIFE SO MUCH EASIER!
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
[Beeping, Marcelo squeaking, whirring]
Andy takes the bottle away from Marcelo and Marcelo leaps down.
Tommy says, YOU SEE! HE NEVER STOPS!
[Footsteps rustling, Audrey grunting, thumping, whirring, gentle music plays]
Tommy and Audrey follow Andy. He gives bamboo shoots to Litchi and Yoko, both red pandas. Litchi has a bandage wrapped around his middle.
Audrey says, BUT LOOK, HE GAVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF FOOD TO BOTH!
Tommy says, HE WAS RIGHT TO! THIS WAY, THEY WON'T BE JEALOUS!
Audrey says, NO, NO, THAT ISN'T RIGHT! LITCHI FINISHED HAVING AN OPERATION, HE SHOULD ONLY HAVE LITTLE BITES. AS FOR YOKO, WELL, SHE'S STILL GROWING, SHE NEEDS TO EAT A LOT MORE!
[Beeping, whirring, animals calling]
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
Audrey says, AND LOOK, HE DIDN'T EVEN STAY WITH THEM AT ALL, HE LEFT RIGHT AWAY, LIKE HE WAS IN A RUSH TO GET TO HIS NEXT TASK.
[Chittering]
Tommy says, HE'S JUST DOING WHAT HE WAS TOLD, THAT'S ALL. IF YOU WANT HIM TO DO SOMETHING ELSE, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS REPROGRAM HIM.
[Upbeat music plays, clanking, clinking]
Tommy pokes Andy’s circuits with a screwdriver.
Audrey asks, UH, ARE YOU SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING?
Tommy says, OF COURSE! LEAST, I THINK SO.
[Zapping]
Tommy pushes buttons with the screwdriver.
Audrey asks, SHOULDN'T YOU READ THE MANUAL FIRST, TOMMY?
Andy says, PREFERENCES SAVED.
[Whirring]
Tommy says, NO, NO. WHY WOULD I DO THAT? YOU'LL SEE, ANDY'LL TAKE MUCH BETTER CARE OF THE ANIMALS NOW.
[Leaves rustling, parrot squawking, whirring, upbeat music plays]
Andy vacuums all the leaves off a tree.
Audrey asks, UH, SO ARE YOU GOING TO TELL ME THAT'S NORMAL?
[Whirring, squawking, beeping]
Andy reaches up and takes a leaf off the parrot’s head.
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
[Dramatic music plays, whooshing, exclaiming, rustling, chirping, beeping, whirring]
Andy picks up Audrey and Tommy and puts them on the tree branch beside the parrot.
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
Audrey says, YOU THINK THIS IS AN IMPROVEMENT? HE'S TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL, HE MUST THINK WE'RE BOTH PARROTS NOW!
[Parrot squawking]
Tommy says, UH, I MUST HAVE MADE A MISTAKE IN THE SETTINGS. I'LL BE RIGHT BACK!
[Whooshing]
They both jump down from the branch.
Audrey says, WAIT, TOMMY! I THINK IT MIGHT MAKE THINGS EVEN WORSE!
[Shouting, rustling, dramatic music plays]
Andy puts Tommy and Audrey back in the tree.
[Whirring, beeping]
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
Audrey says, COME TO THINK OF IT, I PREFER ANDY LIKE HE WAS BEFORE. AT LEAST HE DIDN'T TAKE US FOR A COUPLE OF PARROTS.
Tommy says, WE'VE GOTTA TELL YOUR PARENTS.
[Birds chirping]
Audrey says, NO, HOLD ON, NOT SO FAST. I MAY HAVE A PLAN, AND I THINK I KNOW SOMEONE WHO'D BE HAPPY TO HELP!
[Rustling, whirring, beeping, whooshing]
Andy picks a plant up and throws it on a rock.
Andy says, WEEDING COMPLETED.
Tommy says, HEY, ANDY!
[Beeping, Tommy squawking, whirring]
Tommy runs, and Andy chases him.
Andy says, COME BACK HERE, PARROT. COME BACK HERE, PARROT.
[Tommy panting, whirring, upbeat music plays]
Andy reaches for Tommy.
Tommy shouting, NO!
Jack grabs Tommy and pulls him up on a tree branch beside Audrey. Andy rolls into a river.
Audrey shouts, YEAH!
[Splashing, Jack vocalizing, dramatic music notes play, beeping, whirring]
Andy says, TRAP FOILED.
Tommy says, OKAY, NO PROBLEM, I'VE GOT ANOTHER IDEA.
[Rhythmic music plays, birds chirping, flapping, chittering, snipping, rustling, tree crashing, whooshing]
Animals flee as Andy rolls behind them, trimming hedges. Jonas stands up behind a bush.
Jonas says, HEY!
[Upbeat music plays]
In a bush, Audrey says, YES, THAT'S IT!
[Audrey imitating chittering animal]
On a branch, Tommy says, WHAT?
[Animal chittering, Jack vocalizing]
Audrey says, IT'S THE SIGNAL, TOMMY! JACK! PUSH!
Jack sits on the branch beside Tommy, with a large rock tied to a string.
Tommy says, OH!
[Whooshing, thunking, whirring]
Jack pushes the rock off the branch, and the rock lands in front of Andy. The other side of the rope has a lasso that wraps around Andy’s tracks and pulls him upside down towards the branch.
Tommy says, YES!
Audrey says, YEAH!
[Whirring, snipping, thumping, dramatic music plays]
Andy cuts the rope with his hedge trimmer.
Audrey says, HUH?
[Thunking]
Andy says, TRAP FOILED.
Audrey and Tommy say, UH-OH.
[Screaming, rustling, parrot squawking, beeping, whirring]
Andy puts the children on a branch and rolls away.
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
[Tommy sighing]
Tommy says, WELL, DO YOU HAVE A PLAN, JACK?
[Thunking, Jack vocalizing]
Jack rubs his head.
Audrey says, STOP IT, TOMMY, IT'S NOT FUNNY!
[Whooshing, thumping]
Audrey jumps to the ground.
Audrey says, ANDY'S TOO STRONG, NOTHING CAN STOP HIM.
[Rustling, thumping, animal calling]
Tommy jumps to the ground.
Tommy says, I THINK YOU'RE RIGHT. THAT ROBOT'S UNSTOPPABLE! WELL, AT LEAST UNTIL HIS BATTERY RUNS OUT, THAT IS.
[Gasping, bright music plays]
Audrey says, OF COURSE! WE JUST HAVE TO USE UP ANDY'S BATTERY! OKAY, COME ON, WE'RE GOING TO NEED HELP!
[Gentle music plays, saiga braying]
On the plains, Pat kneels between Inga and Sascha, two saigas.
Pat says, I'M GOING TO MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH...BUT I'M NOT NEEDED ANYMORE AT THE REFUGE. THAT TIN CAN HAS TAKEN MY PLACE.
[Running footsteps]
Audrey shouts, PAT! WE NEED YOU! ANDY'S GONE BERSERK!
[Saiga braying, birds chirping]
Pat says, I'M SORRY, KIDS. IT'S NOT MY JOB ANYMORE. THAT BUCKET OF BOLTS ON WHEELS HAS PUT ME INTO EARLY RETIREMENT.
Audrey says, HUH? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? THAT ROBOT COULD NEVER REPLACE YOU, WE NEED YOU!
Tommy says, YEAH, AND AUDREY'S COME UP WITH A PLAN TO GET RID OF ANDY, FOR GOOD.
[Footsteps rustling]
Pat says, REALLY? OH, ALL RIGHT! I'M IN! WHAT'S THE PLAN?
[Upbeat music plays]
Audrey says, WE'RE GOING TO MAKE SUCH A MESS, THAT ANDY'S SENSORS WON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT.
Pat says, A BIG MESS? WAIT. WHAT DO YOU MEAN?
[Giggling]
Audrey and Tommy say, UH...
[Rustling, gentle music plays]
In the jungle, Andy vacuums hay off the ground. Audrey and Tommy hide behind hay bales, watching him, and Jack hangs from a tree above.
Andy says, CLEAN UP. CLEAN UP.
[Tommy grunting, rustling, beeping, whirring]
Tommy shoves a stack of hay bales. Andy turns and picks up the bales.
Audrey says, NOW, JACK! GO!
[Rattling, rustling, whirring, upbeat music plays]
Jack tips over a wheelbarrow full of hay. Andy scoops the hay into the wheelbarrow.
[Beeping]
Andy says, CLEAN UP COMPLETED.
[Whirring, rustling]
Andy puts the last bale on top of the stack.
Andy says, CLEAN UP COMPLETED.
[Pat grunting, clunking, Pat chuckling, thumping, beeping, beeping, whirring, clattering]
Audrey gives Pat a thumbs-up, and Pat pulls a rope. Coconuts fall from a tree, and Andy puts them in a metal barrel.
Andy says, CLEAN UP COMPLETED.
Tommy says, HEY, ANDY! HERE, TRY THIS!
[Laughing, whirring, rustling]
Tommy pushes over the haystack.
Andy says, INCOMPLETE.
[Clattering, rattling, upbeat music plays, Jack vocalizing, whirring, beeping]
Pat releases more coconuts, and Jack tips over the wheelbarrow.
Andy says, INCOMPLETE. INCOMPLETE. INCOMPLETE.
[Whirring]
Andy rolls back and forth.
Andy says, INCOMPLETE. INCOMPLETE. INCOMPLETE. IN, IN, IN, INCOMPLETE...
[Zapping, electricity crackling, birds chirping, footsteps crunching]
Andy slumps, and Pat walks towards him.
Audrey asks, DID WE DO IT? IS ANDY'S BATTERY OUT OF JUICE?
[Beeping]
Tommy pushes a button on Andy’s control panel.
Tommy says, TASK COMPLETED.
[Children giggling]
Pat says, IT LOOKS LIKE I WON'T BE RETIRING EARLY AFTER ALL!
[Sonia gasping, footsteps crunching]
Sonia arrives.
Pat says, HMM?
[Birds chirping]
Sonia asks, WHAT'S GOING ON HERE? WHY DOES ANDY LOOK LIKE THAT?
Pat says, WE TOOK CARE OF HIM.
Sonia asks, WHAT DO YOU MEAN?
[Bright music plays]
Tommy says, UH, WHAT PAT IS TRYING TO SAY, IS...ANDY WAS OUT OF CONTROL, SO WE HAD TO STOP HIM. BUT WE JUST MADE HIS BATTERY RUN OUT, THAT'S ALL.
[Tommy giggling]
Audrey says, AND IT'S BETTER LIKE THIS, MOM. I MEAN, DO YOU HONESTLY THINK A ROBOT COULD EVER REPLACE PAT?
[Gentle music plays]
Sonia says, IT WAS NEVER A QUESTION OF REPLACING PAT! ANDY WAS JUST GOING TO GIVE HER A HAND. BUT IF YOU DON'T NEED HIS HELP, WE CAN RETURN HIM TO THE STORE.
[Footsteps crunching]
Pat says, GOOD IDEA! WE CAN DO JUST FINE WITHOUT HIM. COME ON, KIDS. LET'S CLEAN UP THIS MESS.
[Tommy groaning, footsteps crunching]
Audrey follows Pat away from Andy.
Tommy says, I THINK I'M GONNA MISS ANDY.

The tall iron gates in front of the Shelter are open and Tommy rides his bicycle down the path. Audrey waits in front of the greenhouse with her hands on her hips.
Tommy says, HELLO, AUDREY!
Audrey says, YOU SURE TOOK YOUR TIME, TOMMY! MOM WANTS TO INTRODUCE US TO OUR NEW ADOPTEE!
Tommy says, SORRY. I CAME AS FAST AS I COULD. WHAT KIND OF ANIMAL IS IT?
Audrey says, NO IDEA. ALL I KNOW IS THAT IT'S A SURPRISE! OKAY, COME ON!
[Footsteps rustling, birds chirping, Sonia’s finger tapping]
In the greenhouse, Sonia stands beside a waist-high cardboard box. Hector and Jack wait nearby.
Audrey shouts, WE'RE COMING! WE'RE COMING!
[Jack vocalizing]
Audrey whispers to Tommy, DO YOU KNOW ANY ANIMALS THAT TRAVEL IN CARDBOARD BOXES?
Sonia says, AH, PAT! YOU'RE JUST IN TIME. COME OVER HERE!
[Marcelo screeching softly]
Pay carries Marcelo, a golden lion tamarin and a pail.
Pat says, IS IT GOING TO TAKE LONG? I FINALLY MANAGED TO CATCH MARCELO, AND HE NEEDS TO HAVE HIS TREATMENT.
Sonia says, NO, DON'T WORRY, IT'LL TAKE A SECOND. AND YOU'LL THANK ME AFTER!
[Rustling]
Sonia pushes Pat towards the box. She drops Marcele as she slides.
Audrey says, HM?
Sonia says, LET ME INTRODUCE...
[Thumping, bright music plays]
Sonia hits the top of the box, and it opens, revealing a robot with a solar panel and tank treads.
Sonia says, ANDY!
[Exclaiming, Jack vocalizing]
Audrey asks, UH, WHAT'S THAT?
Tommy says, SO AWESOME!
[Beeping, whirring]
Andy rolls to Jack.
Andy says, HELLO. MY NAME'S ANDY. WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU?
[Jack vocalizing]
Andy says, DIRT DETECTED.
[Beeping, whirring, splashing, Jack growling]
Andy says, CLEANING COMPLETED.
[Whirring, beeping, Jack vocalizing]
Andy retracts the hose. Jack stomps into the jungle.
Tommy says, WHOA!
Sonia says, ANDY'S GOING TO HELP PAT TAKE CARE OF THE ANIMALS AND HELP JONAS WITH THE PLANTS. SO, I WANT EVERYONE TO GIVE HIM A NICE, WARM WELCOME!
[Bright music notes play]
Hector and Tommy say, WELCOME, ANDY!
Audrey says, WELCOME, ANDY.
Pat says, I DON'T NEED ANY HELP. LEAST OF ALL FROM A...ROBOT.
Hector says, COME ON, PAT! WE ALL KNOW HOW OVERWHELMED YOU ARE. GIVE ANDY A CHANCE!
[Whirring, spraying, clanking, snipping]
Andy rolls to a bush, sprays it, and trims it.
Andy says, TRIMMING COMPLETED.
Hector says, WHO KNOWS? WITH A BIT OF TRAINING, HE COULD MAYBE HELP ME OUT IN THE CLINIC.
Sonia says, YES, AND HE COULD EVEN DO THE DISHES FOR YOU!
[Sonia and Hector laughing, footsteps rustling, leaves rustling, Andy whirring, beeping, vacuum whooshing]
Hector and Sonia walk towards the greenhouse exit. Andy vacuums leaves off the grass and scans the area around him.
Tommy says, ROBOTS ARE THE FUTURE, YOU KNOW.
Pat says, OKAY. LET'S SEE WHAT THIS TIN CAN CAN DO.
[Footsteps rustling, a bird chirping, wings flapping, munching, stream burbling, slurping, upbeat music plays, whirring, beeping, Jack vocalizing, rustling, vacuum whooshing]
Jack sits against a tree and eats a banana. A bird flies past him and perches on top of a birdhouse. Beneath the treehouse, an animal eats from a dish and another animal drinks from a stream. Andy rolls into the clearing, with Pat, Audrey, and Tommy following him. Andy scans the clearing and vacuums it.
Andy says, FRUIT PICKING IN PROGRESS.
[Whooshing, thumping, whirring]
Andy emits air from a hose, and fruit falls neatly into trays. Andy rolls away. Pat and Audrey watch open-mouthed.
Tommy says, WOW! THIS ROBOT KNOWS HOW TO DO EVERYTHING!
[Pat grumbling]
Audrey says, OH, ENOUGH, WE KNOW HOW TO DO THAT TOO!
[Whooshing, splatting, beeping, whirring, upbeat music plays]
Jack throws his banana peel on the ground, and Andy picks it up and offers Jack a new banana.
Andy says, FRESH BANANA. TASK COMPLETED.
[Whooshing, bell ringing, Pearl meowing, purring, clipping, whirring]
In an enclosure, Andy waves a bell in front of Pearl, the cloud leopard kitten. He trims a tree with a different extended hose. Pat, Tommy, and Audrey watch through the enclosure fence.
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
[Whirring, upbeat music plays, leaves rustling, Sophie squeaking]
Andy offers Sophie the sloth a branch with leaves.
Andy says, LEAVES?
[Cawing, whirring, seeds rustling]
Two birds land on the same rock. Andy picks one up and moves it. He puts bird seed on the ground, and the two birds eat it.
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
Tommy says, THIS ROBOT'S REALLY INCREDIBLE!
Audrey grumbles, HMM...
[Pat sighing, Marcelo screeching, tense music plays, footsteps rustling]
Elsewhere in the jungle, Marcelo walks beneath birdhouses. Andy, Tommy, Audrey, and Pat arrive.
Tommy says, I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH THIS ROBOT IS CAPABLE OF DOING!
Pat says, OH, MARCELLO, THIS TIME, YOU'RE NOT GOING TO GET AWAY!
[Rustling, whirring]
Pat takes a bottle out of her vest. Andy grabs the bottle, grabs Marcelo, and feeds him.
Pat says, OH?
Audrey and Tommy say, HUH?
[Gulping, gentle music plays, Pat sighing, footsteps rustling]
Andy rocks Marcelo and feeds him. Pat watches and her shoulders slump. She turns and walks away.
Audrey says, HUH? I GET THE FEELING PAT'S NOT VERY HAPPY WITH ANDY BEING HERE.
Tommy says, WELL, SHE'LL GET USED TO IT QUICK, HE'LL MAKE HER LIFE SO MUCH EASIER!
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
[Beeping, Marcelo squeaking, whirring]
Andy takes the bottle away from Marcelo and Marcelo leaps down.
Tommy says, YOU SEE! HE NEVER STOPS!
[Footsteps rustling, Audrey grunting, thumping, whirring, gentle music plays]
Tommy and Audrey follow Andy. He gives bamboo shoots to Litchi and Yoko, both red pandas. Litchi has a bandage wrapped around his middle.
Audrey says, BUT LOOK, HE GAVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF FOOD TO BOTH!
Tommy says, HE WAS RIGHT TO! THIS WAY, THEY WON'T BE JEALOUS!
Audrey says, NO, NO, THAT ISN'T RIGHT! LITCHI FINISHED HAVING AN OPERATION, HE SHOULD ONLY HAVE LITTLE BITES. AS FOR YOKO, WELL, SHE'S STILL GROWING, SHE NEEDS TO EAT A LOT MORE!
[Beeping, whirring, animals calling]
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
Audrey says, AND LOOK, HE DIDN'T EVEN STAY WITH THEM AT ALL, HE LEFT RIGHT AWAY, LIKE HE WAS IN A RUSH TO GET TO HIS NEXT TASK.
[Chittering]
Tommy says, HE'S JUST DOING WHAT HE WAS TOLD, THAT'S ALL. IF YOU WANT HIM TO DO SOMETHING ELSE, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS REPROGRAM HIM.
[Upbeat music plays, clanking, clinking]
Tommy pokes Andy’s circuits with a screwdriver.
Audrey asks, UH, ARE YOU SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING?
Tommy says, OF COURSE! LEAST, I THINK SO.
[Zapping]
Tommy pushes buttons with the screwdriver.
Audrey asks, SHOULDN'T YOU READ THE MANUAL FIRST, TOMMY?
Andy says, PREFERENCES SAVED.
[Whirring]
Tommy says, NO, NO. WHY WOULD I DO THAT? YOU'LL SEE, ANDY'LL TAKE MUCH BETTER CARE OF THE ANIMALS NOW.
[Leaves rustling, parrot squawking, whirring, upbeat music plays]
Andy vacuums all the leaves off a tree.
Audrey asks, UH, SO ARE YOU GOING TO TELL ME THAT'S NORMAL?
[Whirring, squawking, beeping]
Andy reaches up and takes a leaf off the parrot’s head.
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
[Dramatic music plays, whooshing, exclaiming, rustling, chirping, beeping, whirring]
Andy picks up Audrey and Tommy and puts them on the tree branch beside the parrot.
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
Audrey says, YOU THINK THIS IS AN IMPROVEMENT? HE'S TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL, HE MUST THINK WE'RE BOTH PARROTS NOW!
[Parrot squawking]
Tommy says, UH, I MUST HAVE MADE A MISTAKE IN THE SETTINGS. I'LL BE RIGHT BACK!
[Whooshing]
They both jump down from the branch.
Audrey says, WAIT, TOMMY! I THINK IT MIGHT MAKE THINGS EVEN WORSE!
[Shouting, rustling, dramatic music plays]
Andy puts Tommy and Audrey back in the tree.
[Whirring, beeping]
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
Audrey says, COME TO THINK OF IT, I PREFER ANDY LIKE HE WAS BEFORE. AT LEAST HE DIDN'T TAKE US FOR A COUPLE OF PARROTS.
Tommy says, WE'VE GOTTA TELL YOUR PARENTS.
[Birds chirping]
Audrey says, NO, HOLD ON, NOT SO FAST. I MAY HAVE A PLAN, AND I THINK I KNOW SOMEONE WHO'D BE HAPPY TO HELP!
[Rustling, whirring, beeping, whooshing]
Andy picks a plant up and throws it on a rock.
Andy says, WEEDING COMPLETED.
Tommy says, HEY, ANDY!
[Beeping, Tommy squawking, whirring]
Tommy runs, and Andy chases him.
Andy says, COME BACK HERE, PARROT. COME BACK HERE, PARROT.
[Tommy panting, whirring, upbeat music plays]
Andy reaches for Tommy.
Tommy shouting, NO!
Jack grabs Tommy and pulls him up on a tree branch beside Audrey. Andy rolls into a river.
Audrey shouts, YEAH!
[Splashing, Jack vocalizing, dramatic music notes play, beeping, whirring]
Andy says, TRAP FOILED.
Tommy says, OKAY, NO PROBLEM, I'VE GOT ANOTHER IDEA.
[Rhythmic music plays, birds chirping, flapping, chittering, snipping, rustling, tree crashing, whooshing]
Animals flee as Andy rolls behind them, trimming hedges. Jonas stands up behind a bush.
Jonas says, HEY!
[Upbeat music plays]
In a bush, Audrey says, YES, THAT'S IT!
[Audrey imitating chittering animal]
On a branch, Tommy says, WHAT?
[Animal chittering, Jack vocalizing]
Audrey says, IT'S THE SIGNAL, TOMMY! JACK! PUSH!
Jack sits on the branch beside Tommy, with a large rock tied to a string.
Tommy says, OH!
[Whooshing, thunking, whirring]
Jack pushes the rock off the branch, and the rock lands in front of Andy. The other side of the rope has a lasso that wraps around Andy’s tracks and pulls him upside down towards the branch.
Tommy says, YES!
Audrey says, YEAH!
[Whirring, snipping, thumping, dramatic music plays]
Andy cuts the rope with his hedge trimmer.
Audrey says, HUH?
[Thunking]
Andy says, TRAP FOILED.
Audrey and Tommy say, UH-OH.
[Screaming, rustling, parrot squawking, beeping, whirring]
Andy puts the children on a branch and rolls away.
Andy says, TASK COMPLETED.
[Tommy sighing]
Tommy says, WELL, DO YOU HAVE A PLAN, JACK?
[Thunking, Jack vocalizing]
Jack rubs his head.
Audrey says, STOP IT, TOMMY, IT'S NOT FUNNY!
[Whooshing, thumping]
Audrey jumps to the ground.
Audrey says, ANDY'S TOO STRONG, NOTHING CAN STOP HIM.
[Rustling, thumping, animal calling]
Tommy jumps to the ground.
Tommy says, I THINK YOU'RE RIGHT. THAT ROBOT'S UNSTOPPABLE! WELL, AT LEAST UNTIL HIS BATTERY RUNS OUT, THAT IS.
[Gasping, bright music plays]
Audrey says, OF COURSE! WE JUST HAVE TO USE UP ANDY'S BATTERY! OKAY, COME ON, WE'RE GOING TO NEED HELP!
[Gentle music plays, saiga braying]
On the plains, Pat kneels between Inga and Sascha, two saigas.
Pat says, I'M GOING TO MISS YOU GUYS SO MUCH...BUT I'M NOT NEEDED ANYMORE AT THE REFUGE. THAT TIN CAN HAS TAKEN MY PLACE.
[Running footsteps]
Audrey shouts, PAT! WE NEED YOU! ANDY'S GONE BERSERK!
[Saiga braying, birds chirping]
Pat says, I'M SORRY, KIDS. IT'S NOT MY JOB ANYMORE. THAT BUCKET OF BOLTS ON WHEELS HAS PUT ME INTO EARLY RETIREMENT.
Audrey says, HUH? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? THAT ROBOT COULD NEVER REPLACE YOU, WE NEED YOU!
Tommy says, YEAH, AND AUDREY'S COME UP WITH A PLAN TO GET RID OF ANDY, FOR GOOD.
[Footsteps rustling]
Pat says, REALLY? OH, ALL RIGHT! I'M IN! WHAT'S THE PLAN?
[Upbeat music plays]
Audrey says, WE'RE GOING TO MAKE SUCH A MESS, THAT ANDY'S SENSORS WON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT.
Pat says, A BIG MESS? WAIT. WHAT DO YOU MEAN?
[Giggling]
Audrey and Tommy say, UH...
[Rustling, gentle music plays]
In the jungle, Andy vacuums hay off the ground. Audrey and Tommy hide behind hay bales, watching him, and Jack hangs from a tree above.
Andy says, CLEAN UP. CLEAN UP.
[Tommy grunting, rustling, beeping, whirring]
Tommy shoves a stack of hay bales. Andy turns and picks up the bales.
Audrey says, NOW, JACK! GO!
[Rattling, rustling, whirring, upbeat music plays]
Jack tips over a wheelbarrow full of hay. Andy scoops the hay into the wheelbarrow.
[Beeping]
Andy says, CLEAN UP COMPLETED.
[Whirring, rustling]
Andy puts the last bale on top of the stack.
Andy says, CLEAN UP COMPLETED.
[Pat grunting, clunking, Pat chuckling, thumping, beeping, beeping, whirring, clattering]
Audrey gives Pat a thumbs-up, and Pat pulls a rope. Coconuts fall from a tree, and Andy puts them in a metal barrel.
Andy says, CLEAN UP COMPLETED.
Tommy says, HEY, ANDY! HERE, TRY THIS!
[Laughing, whirring, rustling]
Tommy pushes over the haystack.
Andy says, INCOMPLETE.
[Clattering, rattling, upbeat music plays, Jack vocalizing, whirring, beeping]
Pat releases more coconuts, and Jack tips over the wheelbarrow.
Andy says, INCOMPLETE. INCOMPLETE. INCOMPLETE.
[Whirring]
Andy rolls back and forth.
Andy says, INCOMPLETE. INCOMPLETE. INCOMPLETE. IN, IN, IN, INCOMPLETE...
[Zapping, electricity crackling, birds chirping, footsteps crunching]
Andy slumps, and Pat walks towards him.
Audrey asks, DID WE DO IT? IS ANDY'S BATTERY OUT OF JUICE?
[Beeping]
Tommy pushes a button on Andy’s control panel.
Tommy says, TASK COMPLETED.
[Children giggling]
Pat says, IT LOOKS LIKE I WON'T BE RETIRING EARLY AFTER ALL!
[Sonia gasping, footsteps crunching]
Sonia arrives.
Pat says, HMM?
[Birds chirping]
Sonia asks, WHAT'S GOING ON HERE? WHY DOES ANDY LOOK LIKE THAT?
Pat says, WE TOOK CARE OF HIM.
Sonia asks, WHAT DO YOU MEAN?
[Bright music plays]
Tommy says, UH, WHAT PAT IS TRYING TO SAY, IS...ANDY WAS OUT OF CONTROL, SO WE HAD TO STOP HIM. BUT WE JUST MADE HIS BATTERY RUN OUT, THAT'S ALL.
[Tommy giggling]
Audrey says, AND IT'S BETTER LIKE THIS, MOM. I MEAN, DO YOU HONESTLY THINK A ROBOT COULD EVER REPLACE PAT?
[Gentle music plays]
Sonia says, IT WAS NEVER A QUESTION OF REPLACING PAT! ANDY WAS JUST GOING TO GIVE HER A HAND. BUT IF YOU DON'T NEED HIS HELP, WE CAN RETURN HIM TO THE STORE.
[Footsteps crunching]
Pat says, GOOD IDEA! WE CAN DO JUST FINE WITHOUT HIM. COME ON, KIDS. LET'S CLEAN UP THIS MESS.
[Tommy groaning, footsteps crunching]
Audrey follows Pat away from Andy.
Tommy says, I THINK I'M GONNA MISS ANDY.
[Beeping, footsteps crunching]
Tommy walks away from Andy.
Andy says, I'LL BE BACK.
[Upbeat music plays]
