Kayla imitates the turkey. Dex’s mom, a woman with long black hair pulled into a ponytail, approaches wearing navy blue scrubs.
Dex’s mom asks, WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING?
Dex says, WELL, KAYLA'S MOVING LIKE A TURKEY.
Kayla says, THESE ARE MY TAIL FEATHERS.
[Gasping]
Kayla says FREEZE!
Kayla picks a feather up off the ground.
[Rustling]
Kayla says NOW WE HAVE A REAL TURKEY FEATHER.
Dex’s mom says, NICE. I'VE GOTTA GO CHECK ON AN INJURED BIRD. ARE YOU TWO OKAY TO LOOK AROUND THE BIRD SANCTUARY WHILE I WORK?
[Birds chirping]
Dex says, MORE THAN OKAY! THERE ARE TONS OF BIRDS HERE. SINCE BIRDS ARE DINOSAURS, WE CAN DO A--
Dex’s mom and Kayla say, DINO EXPERIMENT?
Dex says, EXACTLY. DINO EXPERIMENT 10-2-1.
Dex’s mom says, SOUNDS REALLY GOOD, DEX, BUT I GOTTA GO. IF YOU NEED ME, I'LL BE WITH THE OWLS.
[Birds chirping, gobbling]
Kayla asks, WHAT'S DINO EXPERIMENT 10-2-1?
Dex says, WHICH BIRDS ARE MOST LIKE DINOSAURS.
[Turkeys gobbling]
Kayla says, THOSE DINOS HAVE FEATHERS.
Kayla points at two small dinosaurs following a turkey.
[Gobbling, chirping, screeching, rustling]
Dex says, THE SHUVUUIA AND THE VELOCIRAPTOR. GOOD CHOICES.
Dex nods at Kayla.
Kayla asks, AND MAYBE SOMETHING BIGGER, TOO?
A dinosaur larger than Dex and Kayla walks around a sign.
[Roaring]
Dex says, MEGARAPTOR?
Kayla says, HE'LL DO. HIS FEATHERS ARE PRETTY COOL.
Dex says, DINO EXPERIMENT 10-2-1, REVISED. WHICH BIRDS ARE MOST LIKE THE SHUVUUIA, THE VELOCIRAPTOR, AND THE MEGARAPTOR. IT'S RESEARCH TIME.
Kayla runs to sign on the fence.
[Leaves crunching]
Kayla says, ALREADY RESEARCHING!
Dex follows Kayla to a sign with a large photograph of a turkey.
Kayla says, IT SAYS HERE TURKEYS USE THEIR TAIL FEATHERS FOR INTIMIDATION, TO FIND A PARTNER BY SPREADING THEM OUT AND SHOWING THEM OFF. AND THEY EVEN DO A LITTLE DANCE IF THE GIRL LIKES THEM. BIRDS ARE WEIRD.
Dex says, I WONDER IF ONE OF OUR DINOSAURS DID THE SAME THING.
The Shuvuuia runs past Dex and Kayla.
[Shuvuuia squawking]
Kayla says, TIME TO FIND OUT. AFTER THAT SHUVUUIA! IN TURKEY MODE.
They both imitate turkeys walking.
[Both gobbling, birds chirping]
Dex says, WHERE'D HE GO?
[Kayla gasping]
Kayla points and says, THERE HE IS.
[Shuvuuia squawking]
Kayla says, AND HE'S MOVING JUST LIKE THE TURKEY. I WONDER WHY.
Dex says, I THINK SHE MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT.
A second Shuvuuia jumps on the back of a bench.
Kayla asks, HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT'S A GIRL?
Dex replies, BECAUSE GIRL DINOS ARE USUALLY BIGGER AND NOT AS BRIGHTLY COLOURED AS THE BOYS.
The male Shuvuuia spreads his tail feathers and hops from foot to foot.
[Shuvuuia squawking, whistling]
Dex says, I THINK HE'S USING HIS TAIL FEATHERS TO MAKE HER LIKE HIM.
Kayla asks, IS HE DANCING FOR HER, TOO?
The female jumps down to the sidewalk.
[Shuvuuia squawking, soft thumping]
Dex says, LOOK, SHE LIKES HIS MOVES! SHUVUUIA DOES USE HIS TAIL TO ATTRACT A PARTNER.
Kayla says, AWW, THEY'RE SO CUTE.
[Shuvuuia squawking, Megaraptor roaring, Kayla groaning, tense music plays]
Kayla says, I KNEW THAT WOULDN'T LAST LONG.
Dex says, THE MEGARAPTOR!
[Roaring, thumping]
Kayla says, AND SHE'S MEGA HUNGRY FOR THOSE DINO LOVEBIRDS.
The male Shuvuuia runs between the female and the Megaraptor.
[Shuvuuia squawking, growling, rustling]
Dex says, WAIT, BOY SHUVUUIA IS PUFFING UP HIS TAIL.
Kayla says, IS HE TRYING TO ATTRACT THE MEGARAPTOR?
[Shuvuuia squawking, growling]
Dex says, I THINK IT'S THE OPPOSITE. HE'S TRYING TO LOOK BIGGER THAN HE IS TO INTIMIDATE THE MEGARAPTOR.
The Megaraptor turns and walks away.
[Roaring, stomping, gentle music plays]
Kayla says, LOOKS LIKE IT WORKS.
Dex says, FASCINATING. THE SHUVUUIA'S MOST LIKE A TURKEY. THEY BOTH USE THEIR TAIL FEATHERS TO FIND A PARTNER AND FOR DEFENCE.
Kayla says, BUT WHICH BIRD IS MOST LIKE THE MEGARAPTOR?
[Megaraptor growling]
Kayla says, ACTUALLY, MAYBE I DON'T WANT TO KNOW.
Dex’s mom shouts, DEX, KAYLA. COME SEE THIS.
Dex says, DINO EXPERIMENT, PAUSED.
Dex and Kayla run to Dex’s mom. She sits at a table with a barn owl perched on a stand.
Dex asks, IS THIS YOUR PATIENT?
Kayla asks, IS HE OKAY?
Dex’s mom says, I'M STILL RUNNING A FEW TESTS, BUT I'M NOT WORRIED ABOUT HIM. HE'S A TOUGH OLD BIRD, AND LOOK. TO ADD TO YOUR FEATHER COLLECTION.
She gives Dex a feather. Dex looks at the feather and then gives it to Kayla. She holds the owl and turkey feathers, one in each hand.
[Birds chirping]
Dex says, THANKS, MOM.
Kayla says, THESE FEATHERS FEEL THE SAME.
Dex’s mom asks, HOW'S YOUR DINO EXPERIMENT GOING?
Dex says, GREAT. THE BOY SHUVUUIA SHOWED OFF HIS TAIL FEATHERS TO GET A GIRL TO LIKE HIM.
Kayla says, AND PUFFED THEM UP TO INTIMIDATE A MEGARAPTOR.
Dex’s mom says, JUST LIKE A TURKEY.
Dex says, THOSE WERE OUR CONCLUSIONS, TOO.
[Owl chittering]
Dex’s mom says, I THINK HE AGREES.
Kayla asks, WHAT KIND OF OWL IS HE?
Dex’s mom says, A BARN OWL.
Dex says, I WONDER IF HE'S LIKE THE VELOCIRAPTOR OR THE MEGARAPTOR.
Kayla says, I DON'T KNOW, BUT HE'S BEAUTIFUL.
Dex’s mom says, AND DEADLY.
Kayla says, I LIKE HIM EVEN MORE.
Dex asks, HOW IS HE DEADLY?
Dex’s mom says, OWLS ARE REALLY GREAT HUNTERS, BECAUSE THEY HAVE AMAZING SIGHT AND HEARING. WHEN THEY HUNT, THEY SIT AND WAIT FOR SOMETHING TO MOVE, AND THEN...
Kayla says, LET ME GUESS. THEY SWOOP DOWN AND SNATCH IT UP WITH THOSE GIANT CLAWS?
Dex’s mom says, EXACTLY.
Dex’s mom holds out her smartphone and shows Dex and Kayla a video of a barn owl perched on a rock.
Dex’s mom says, SEE? HE SITS AND WAITS UNTIL HE SEES FOOD, AND THEN HE SWOOPS DOWN.
In the video, the barn owl swoops down into tall grass.
[Flapping, screeching]
Dex says, YOU SURE KNOW HOW TO HUNT, BUT YOU DON'T DO IT LIKE THE MEGARAPTOR WE SAW.
Kayla says, YEAH, THE MEGARAPTOR JUST CHARGED IN AND WAS LIKE--
[Kayla roaring, chirping]
The Velocirpator runs on a pathway.
[Feet pattering, roaring]
Kayla says, BUT MAYBE THE VELOCIRAPTOR HUNTS LIKE A BARN OWL.
[Squawking, owl chittering, dramatic musical notes play]
Dex says, ONLY ONE WAY TO FIND OUT. DINO EXPERIMENT, CONTINUE. THANKS, MOM.
Kayla says, GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR PATIENT.
Dex and Kayla run away from the table. Dex’s mom smiles and writes notes on paper. The Velociraptor perches on a concrete barrier and stares through a steel fence. Dex and Kayla crouch behind a rock behind the Velociraptor.
[Whistling, squawking]
Dex says, HERE'S THE PLAN. WE USE THIS BEEF JERKY LIKE PREY. IF THE VELOCIRAPTOR WAITS AND THEN COMES AFTER IT WHEN WE MOVE IT, WE'LL KNOW IT'S JUST LIKE A BARN OWL.
[Gasping, shushing]
Kayla says, HE'S COMING THIS WAY.
Dex throws the jerky tied to a rope and pulls it. The Velociraptor stalks the jerky.
[Squawking]
Dex says, IT'S WORKING. SHE'S HUNTING.
[Growling]
Kayla whispers, WHAT'S SHE DOING NOW?
Dex whispers, WHAT?
Kayla whispers, WHAT'S SHE DOING NOW?
Dex whispers, I CAN'T HEAR YOU.
Kayla whispers, I DON'T WANT HER TO HEAR ME. WHAT'S SHE DOING NOW?
Dex whispers, SITTING AND WAITING I THINK. SHE KNOWS THERE'S SOMETHING WORTH HUNTING OUT HERE.
The Velociraptor pounces on the jerky, eats it, and runs away.
[Squawking, chewing, dramatic music plays]
Dex says, AMAZING. THE VELOCIRAPTOR HUNTS JUST LIKE A BARN OWL. BY SITTING AND WAITING.
[Birds calling]
Kayla says, NOW WE JUST HAVE THE MEGARAPTOR TO MATCH UP.
Dex says, AND I KNOW SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP US WITH THAT ONE.
Kayla and Dex walk back to the table, and the barn owl turns their head and watches them.
Dex asks, WHERE'S MOM?
Kayla says, UM... DOES IT LOOK LIKE THAT DEADLY OWL IS WATCHING US?
Dex and Kayla stare at the owl as the owl watches them intently.
[Dex gasping]
Dex says, LET'S GO.
[Owl chirping]
Dex’s mom wears a leaver glove. A brown falcon perches on her hand. Dex and Kayla open a tall gate and run to his mom. The gate swings shut behind them.
[Swinging, clinking]
Dex asks, NEW PATIENT?
Dex’s mom says, JUST A CHECK-UP.
Kayla asks, ANY LOOSE FEATHERS?
Dex’s mom says, UH, NOT ON THIS FALCON. HOW'S YOUR DINO EXPERIMENT GOING?
Dex says, MORE THAN HALFWAY DONE. WE JUST DISCOVERED THE VELOCIRAPTOR WAS A SIT-AND-WAIT HUNTER JUST LIKE A BARN OWL.
Kayla says, TWO DINOS DOWN, ONE TO GO.
Kayla and Dex high-five. The falcon startles and flaps their wings.
[Hands slapping, Falcon chirping, flapping]
Dex’s mom says, OOH! EASY ON THE SUDDEN MOVEMENTS.
Kayla says, SORRY, BIRD FRIEND.
Dex’s mom puts the falcon on a perch on top of a nearby pole.
[Flapping, Dex’s mom chuckling, soft music plays]
Dex’s mom says, HE'S AN APLOMADO FALCON. FALCONS ARE SOME OF THE FASTEST BIRDS IN THE WORLD.
[Squawking]
Dex says, WOW.
Kayla asks, REALLY?
Dex’s mom says, YEAH. SOME FALCONS CAN GO FASTER THAN A CAR WHEN THEY DIVE AFTER THEIR FOOD. TAKE A LOOK.
Dex’s mom shows a video on her smartphone. In the video, a falcon dives down.
[Squawking, wind gusting, Kayla chuckling]
Kayla says, I LIKE HOW HE PULLS HIS WINGS BACK.
Dex’s mom says, YEAH. ME, TOO. OKAY, SIT TIGHT. I'M ALMOST READY TO GO. I JUST HAVE TO TALK TO THE STAFF ABOUT HIS FOLLOW-UP.
Dex’s mom leaves. The Megaraptor pushes open the tall gate.
[Roaring, squeaking]
Kayla says, THE MEGARAPTOR!
Dex says, AND HE'S CHARGING JUST LIKE THE FALCON DIVES!
The Megaraptor chases the falcon.
[Squawking, roaring, stomping, exciting music plays]
Kayla says, NO, MEGARAPTOR!
[Squawking, roaring, stomping]
Dex says, KAYLA, WE HAVE TO SAVE THAT FALCON BEFORE HE NEEDS MORE THAN JUST A CHECK-UP!
Kayla says, BUT HOW ARE WE GONNA STOP A HUNGRY MEGARAPTOR?
Dex says, WHICH DINO PUFFED UP LIKE A TURKEY?
Kayla says, SHUVUUIA!
Dex says, EXACTLY. IT'S SHUVUUIA TIME.
Dex and Kayla run away. The Megaraptor leaps towards the falcon and snaps their jaws. The falcon dodges and flies away.
[Screeching, roaring, thumping, snapping]
Dex and Kayla run back wearing knit dinosaur costumes.
[Dex and Kayla roaring]
Kayla says, IT'S NOT WORKING. WE NEED TO LOOK BIGGER AND SCARIER. OUR SWEATSHIRTS.
Dex and Kayla untie their sweatshirts from around their waists and stuff them up their shirts. They nod at each other.
[Kayla and Dex roaring, Megaraptor roaring]
Kayla shouts, LOOK HOW BIG WE ARE!
Dex shouts, I'D LEAVE IF I WERE YOU!
[Stomping, Kayla and Dex roaring, Megaraptor roaring]
Dex’s mom arrives.
[Soft music plays]
Dex’s mom asks, WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?
Dex says, UM, COMPLETING OUR DINO EXPERIMENT. WE FIGURED OUT THE SHUVUUIA IS MOST LIKE THE TURKEY, THE VELOCIRAPTOR IS MOST LIKE THE BARN OWL, AND THE MEGARAPTOR IS LIKE A FALCON.
Dex’s mom says, SPEAKING OF FALCONS, WHERE DID, UH--
Dex’s mom taps the perch, and the falcon lands.
[Squawking]
Dex’s mom says, OH, THERE HE IS.
[Squawking]
A feather falls to the ground.
Dex says, LOOK, A FALCON FEATHER.
Kayla picks up the feather.
[Chirping, rustling]
Kayla says, IT FEELS THE SAME AS THE OTHER ONES. HE'S PROBABLY GIVING US THIS TO SAY THANKS FOR SAVING HIM.
Dex’s mom asks, SAVING HIM FROM WHAT?
Dex says, GETTING EATEN BY A MEGARAPTOR, BUT THE FALCON KNEW TO STAY AWAY.
[Chirping]
Dex’s mom says, THEY REALLY ARE SUPER SMART.
Kayla says, I WONDER IF DINOSAURS ARE THAT SMART.
Dex says, WHAT A GREAT IDEA FOR A NEW DINO EXPERIMENT.
Dex’s mom says, NEXT TIME. WE GOTTA GET HOME.
Dex and Kayla nod. Dex looks over his shoulder and sees the Megaraptor, Velociraptor, and Shuvuuia in the enclosure.
[Chirping, roaring, squawking]

She gives Dex a feather. Dex looks at the feather and then gives it to Kayla. She holds the owl and turkey feathers, one in each hand.
[Birds chirping]
Dex says, THANKS, MOM.
Kayla says, THESE FEATHERS FEEL THE SAME.
Dex’s mom asks, HOW'S YOUR DINO EXPERIMENT GOING?
Dex says, GREAT. THE BOY SHUVUUIA SHOWED OFF HIS TAIL FEATHERS TO GET A GIRL TO LIKE HIM.
Kayla says, AND PUFFED THEM UP TO INTIMIDATE A MEGARAPTOR.
Dex’s mom says, JUST LIKE A TURKEY.
Dex says, THOSE WERE OUR CONCLUSIONS, TOO.
[Owl chittering]
Dex’s mom says, I THINK HE AGREES.
Kayla asks, WHAT KIND OF OWL IS HE?
Dex’s mom says, A BARN OWL.
Dex says, I WONDER IF HE'S LIKE THE VELOCIRAPTOR OR THE MEGARAPTOR.
Kayla says, I DON'T KNOW, BUT HE'S BEAUTIFUL.
Dex’s mom says, AND DEADLY.
Kayla says, I LIKE HIM EVEN MORE.
Dex asks, HOW IS HE DEADLY?
Dex’s mom says, OWLS ARE REALLY GREAT HUNTERS, BECAUSE THEY HAVE AMAZING SIGHT AND HEARING. WHEN THEY HUNT, THEY SIT AND WAIT FOR SOMETHING TO MOVE, AND THEN...
Kayla says, LET ME GUESS. THEY SWOOP DOWN AND SNATCH IT UP WITH THOSE GIANT CLAWS?
Dex’s mom says, EXACTLY.
Dex’s mom holds out her smartphone and shows Dex and Kayla a video of a barn owl perched on a rock.
Dex’s mom says, SEE? HE SITS AND WAITS UNTIL HE SEES FOOD, AND THEN HE SWOOPS DOWN.
In the video, the barn owl swoops down into tall grass.
[Flapping, screeching]
Dex says, YOU SURE KNOW HOW TO HUNT, BUT YOU DON'T DO IT LIKE THE MEGARAPTOR WE SAW.
Kayla says, YEAH, THE MEGARAPTOR JUST CHARGED IN AND WAS LIKE--
[Kayla roaring, chirping]
The Velocirpator runs on a pathway.
[Feet pattering, roaring]
Kayla says, BUT MAYBE THE VELOCIRAPTOR HUNTS LIKE A BARN OWL.
[Squawking, owl chittering, dramatic musical notes play]
Dex says, ONLY ONE WAY TO FIND OUT. DINO EXPERIMENT, CONTINUE. THANKS, MOM.
Kayla says, GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR PATIENT.
Dex and Kayla run away from the table. Dex’s mom smiles and writes notes on paper. The Velociraptor perches on a concrete barrier and stares through a steel fence. Dex and Kayla crouch behind a rock behind the Velociraptor.
[Whistling, squawking]
Dex says, HERE'S THE PLAN. WE USE THIS BEEF JERKY LIKE PREY. IF THE VELOCIRAPTOR WAITS AND THEN COMES AFTER IT WHEN WE MOVE IT, WE'LL KNOW IT'S JUST LIKE A BARN OWL.
[Gasping, shushing]
Kayla says, HE'S COMING THIS WAY.
Dex throws the jerky tied to a rope and pulls it. The Velociraptor stalks the jerky.
[Squawking]
Dex says, IT'S WORKING. SHE'S HUNTING.
[Growling]
Kayla whispers, WHAT'S SHE DOING NOW?
Dex whispers, WHAT?
Kayla whispers, WHAT'S SHE DOING NOW?
Dex whispers, I CAN'T HEAR YOU.
Kayla whispers, I DON'T WANT HER TO HEAR ME. WHAT'S SHE DOING NOW?
Dex whispers, SITTING AND WAITING I THINK. SHE KNOWS THERE'S SOMETHING WORTH HUNTING OUT HERE.
The Velociraptor pounces on the jerky, eats it, and runs away.
[Squawking, chewing, dramatic music plays]
Dex says, AMAZING. THE VELOCIRAPTOR HUNTS JUST LIKE A BARN OWL. BY SITTING AND WAITING.
[Birds calling]
Kayla says, NOW WE JUST HAVE THE MEGARAPTOR TO MATCH UP.
Dex says, AND I KNOW SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP US WITH THAT ONE.
Kayla and Dex walk back to the table, and the barn owl turns their head and watches them.
Dex asks, WHERE'S MOM?
Kayla says, UM... DOES IT LOOK LIKE THAT DEADLY OWL IS WATCHING US?
Dex and Kayla stare at the owl as the owl watches them intently.
[Dex gasping]
Dex says, LET'S GO.
[Owl chirping]
Dex’s mom wears a leaver glove. A brown falcon perches on her hand. Dex and Kayla open a tall gate and run to his mom. The gate swings shut behind them.
[Swinging, clinking]
Dex asks, NEW PATIENT?
Dex’s mom says, JUST A CHECK-UP.
Kayla asks, ANY LOOSE FEATHERS?
Dex’s mom says, UH, NOT ON THIS FALCON. HOW'S YOUR DINO EXPERIMENT GOING?
Dex says, MORE THAN HALFWAY DONE. WE JUST DISCOVERED THE VELOCIRAPTOR WAS A SIT-AND-WAIT HUNTER JUST LIKE A BARN OWL.
Kayla says, TWO DINOS DOWN, ONE TO GO.
Kayla and Dex high-five. The falcon startles and flaps their wings.
[Hands slapping, Falcon chirping, flapping]
Dex’s mom says, OOH! EASY ON THE SUDDEN MOVEMENTS.
Kayla says, SORRY, BIRD FRIEND.
Dex’s mom puts the falcon on a perch on top of a nearby pole.
[Flapping, Dex’s mom chuckling, soft music plays]
Dex’s mom says, HE'S AN APLOMADO FALCON. FALCONS ARE SOME OF THE FASTEST BIRDS IN THE WORLD.
[Squawking]
Dex says, WOW.
Kayla asks, REALLY?
Dex’s mom says, YEAH. SOME FALCONS CAN GO FASTER THAN A CAR WHEN THEY DIVE AFTER THEIR FOOD. TAKE A LOOK.
Dex’s mom shows a video on her smartphone. In the video, a falcon dives down.
[Squawking, wind gusting, Kayla chuckling]
Kayla says, I LIKE HOW HE PULLS HIS WINGS BACK.
Dex’s mom says, YEAH. ME, TOO. OKAY, SIT TIGHT. I'M ALMOST READY TO GO. I JUST HAVE TO TALK TO THE STAFF ABOUT HIS FOLLOW-UP.
Dex’s mom leaves. The Megaraptor pushes open the tall gate.
[Roaring, squeaking]
Kayla says, THE MEGARAPTOR!
Dex says, AND HE'S CHARGING JUST LIKE THE FALCON DIVES!
The Megaraptor chases the falcon.
[Squawking, roaring, stomping, exciting music plays]
Kayla says, NO, MEGARAPTOR!
[Squawking, roaring, stomping]
Dex says, KAYLA, WE HAVE TO SAVE THAT FALCON BEFORE HE NEEDS MORE THAN JUST A CHECK-UP!
Kayla says, BUT HOW ARE WE GONNA STOP A HUNGRY MEGARAPTOR?
Dex says, WHICH DINO PUFFED UP LIKE A TURKEY?
Kayla says, SHUVUUIA!
Dex says, EXACTLY. IT'S SHUVUUIA TIME.
Dex and Kayla run away. The Megaraptor leaps towards the falcon and snaps their jaws. The falcon dodges and flies away.
[Screeching, roaring, thumping, snapping]
Dex and Kayla run back wearing knit dinosaur costumes.
[Dex and Kayla roaring]
Kayla says, IT'S NOT WORKING. WE NEED TO LOOK BIGGER AND SCARIER. OUR SWEATSHIRTS.
Dex and Kayla untie their sweatshirts from around their waists and stuff them up their shirts. They nod at each other.
[Kayla and Dex roaring, Megaraptor roaring]
Kayla shouts, LOOK HOW BIG WE ARE!
Dex shouts, I'D LEAVE IF I WERE YOU!
[Stomping, Kayla and Dex roaring, Megaraptor roaring]
Dex’s mom arrives.
[Soft music plays]
Dex’s mom asks, WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?
Dex says, UM, COMPLETING OUR DINO EXPERIMENT. WE FIGURED OUT THE SHUVUUIA IS MOST LIKE THE TURKEY, THE VELOCIRAPTOR IS MOST LIKE THE BARN OWL, AND THE MEGARAPTOR IS LIKE A FALCON.
Dex’s mom says, SPEAKING OF FALCONS, WHERE DID, UH--
Dex’s mom taps the perch, and the falcon lands.
[Squawking]
Dex’s mom says, OH, THERE HE IS.
[Squawking]
A feather falls to the ground.
Dex says, LOOK, A FALCON FEATHER.
Kayla picks up the feather.
[Chirping, rustling]
Kayla says, IT FEELS THE SAME AS THE OTHER ONES. HE'S PROBABLY GIVING US THIS TO SAY THANKS FOR SAVING HIM.
Dex’s mom asks, SAVING HIM FROM WHAT?
Dex says, GETTING EATEN BY A MEGARAPTOR, BUT THE FALCON KNEW TO STAY AWAY.
[Chirping]
Dex’s mom says, THEY REALLY ARE SUPER SMART.
Kayla says, I WONDER IF DINOSAURS ARE THAT SMART.
Dex says, WHAT A GREAT IDEA FOR A NEW DINO EXPERIMENT.
Dex’s mom says, NEXT TIME. WE GOTTA GET HOME.
Dex and Kayla nod. Dex looks over his shoulder and sees the Megaraptor, Velociraptor, and Shuvuuia in the enclosure.
[Chirping, roaring, squawking]
[Upbeat theme music plays]
