[Magical music plays]

In an animation, the sun shines brightly over a field of dandelions. A guinea pig with long brown fur frolics through the grass. In live action, the guinea pig rests in their hutch, a large wooden cage on posts in the Sawdust family’s backyard. Mister and Missus Sawdust stand by a gate in the fence and Karen, a girl with her long brown hair in braided pigtails, runs up to the guinea pig’s hutch with a kite.

[Guinea pig squeaking]

[Cheerful music plays]

The guinea pig sings, I'M A GUINEA PIG SENSATION, WITH A GREAT IMAGINATION. I'M OLGA DA POLGA, THAT'S ME!

Facing Olga’s hutch, Noel, a black cat, lies on the grass with Graham, a tortoise, and Fangio, a hedgehog. Mrs. Sawdust trims a bush. Mr. Sawdust builds a pen. Karen skips across the yard. Olga scratches her ear. Noel swats at Olga from the roof of her hutch.

At the backdoor of the Sawdust’s house, Karen says, BREAKFAST, OLGA!

Olga sings, MY HEAD IS FULL OF STORIES, OF DERRING-DO AND GLORIES, SO GATHER 'ROUND, AND LISTEN TO ME!

In animations, guinea pigs face a fire-breathing dragon, stand on a podium with first-place medals and look up at a princess locked in a castle.

A crowd cheers, HOORAY!

In live-action, Graham says, AMAZING.

Noel says, RIDICULOUS!

Fangio says, INTERESTING!

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

On a bench, Karen and Mister and Missus Sawdust pet Olga. At a competition, a person awards Karen and Olga a rosette. In the backyard, Karen puts a carrot in Olga’s food bowl.

Olga sings, OLGA DA POLGA, THAT'S ME!

[Olga squeaking]

Title: Olga da Polga. Based on the books by Michael Bond.

[Gentle music plays]

A bird perches in a tree. The wind gently blows the branches.

[Birds chirping]

In live-action, in the Sawdust family’s backyard, Fangio sniffs around the grass. The episode title reads, “A Model Guinea Pig.”

[Fangio singing]

Graham lies on hay in his hutch.

[Graham yawning loudly]

In her hutch, Olga lies in a straw hideout.

Olga narrates, I REALLY DO HAVE A VERY NICE HOME. I HAVE EVERYTHING I NEED. BUT THE SAWDUST FAMILY ARE ALWAYS COMPLAINING ABOUT THEIR HOUSE.

Outside, Mr. Sawdust stands on a ladder by the kitchen window. He has short, dark grey hair and a thick grey beard. He wears a red plaid, button-down shirt over a blue T-shirt. Inside, at the kitchen sink, Mrs. Sawdust tries to open the window. Mrs. Sawdust has long, light brown hair and wears a light green long-sleeved shirt. Mr. Sawdust pulls on the window.

[Mr. Sawdust grunting]

Mrs. Sawdust shouts through the window, THE WINDOW WON'T OPEN AGAIN!

Mr. Sawdust shouts back, EH... MAYBE IT JUST NEEDS SOME OIL.

Mrs. Sawdust asks, YOU GOT SOME?

Mr. Sawdust shakes his head and says, NO.

Olga narrates, I OFTEN WISHED I COULD DO SOMETHING TO HELP THEM.

She nibbles on a blade of grass.

Olga narrates, AND THEN ONE DAY, IT HAPPENED. JUST LIKE THAT!

On a cloudy day, the wind blows tree branches.

[Owl hooting]

In a live-action flashback, Mrs. Sawdust works at the kitchen island with her laptop and papers. Mr. Sawdust cuts carrots at the counter.

Mrs. Sawdust says, MY FEET ARE FREEZING! LOOK AT THAT GAP UNDER THE BACK DOOR. ALL THE COLD AIR'S COMING IN. THE SOONER WE GET THAT SORTED, THE BETTER.

Karen walks into the kitchen. She wears her long brown hair in braided pigtails and purple overalls over a long-sleeved pink shirt with orange polka dots.

Karen asks, WHEN'S JILL COMING?

Mr. Sawdust says, EH, THIS AFTERNOON, I THINK.

He brings a bowl of chopped carrots over to Karen.

Mr. Sawdust says, I KNOW A GUINEA PIG WHO WOULD LOVE THESE.

Karen takes the bowl and says, THANKS, DAD!

[Cheerful music plays]

Karen skips across the kitchen and opens the back door.

[Wind gusting]

A gust of wind blows Mrs. Sawdust’s papers off the counter.

Mrs. Sawdust says, OH, NO!

Mr. Sawdust says, I'LL GET IT, I'LL GET IT.

Mrs. Sawdust stands and gathers her papers. Mr. Sawdust grabs the papers off the floor.

[Mrs. Sawdust sighing]

Later in the day, Noel climbs out his cat door. Graham leaves his hutch.

[Graham humming]

Fangio raises his snout.

[Fangio sniffing]

Karen sits on a stool beside Olga’s hutch with Olga in a pet bed on her lap.

Karen says, OLGA, WE'VE GOT A VERY SPECIAL JOB FOR YOU TODAY.

She feeds Olga a dandelion leaf.

Olga narrates, WELL, THAT SOUNDED EXCITING! A SPECIAL JOB!

[Olga squeaking]

Karen gently pets Olga.

She says, I'LL NEED TO GIVE YOU A BRUSH. WE WANT YOU TO LOOK YOUR BEST FOR YOUR PHOTOSHOOT.

Olga narrates, PHOTOSHOOT! ME!

Karen says, MOM'S FRIEND JILL IS COMING OVER WITH HER CAMERA. AND YOU NEED TO DO YOUR BEST POSES FOR SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL. YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN DO THESE PHOTOS, OLGA.

Olga narrates, WELL! IF EVER THERE WAS A GUINEA PIG WHO COULD DO SOMETHING FOR A SPECIAL PURPOSE...

[Olga squeaking]

Olga narrates,...IT WAS ME!

Noel leaps off a stone half-wall. Graham makes his way across a flat stone path. Fangio climbs over a log in the compost heap.

[Fangio singing to himself]

Karen puts Olga back in her hutch.

She says, NOW DON'T GET TOO MESSY, OLGA.

Karen closes the door and skips back toward the house.

Olga narrates, I COULDN'T WAIT TO TELL EVERYONE MY NEWS!

The sun shines brightly over Olga’s hutch.

Out loud, Olga says, GRAHAM! GRAHAM!

Graham crawls across the grass.

Olga says, DID YOU HEAR THAT? I'M THE ONLY ONE SUITABLE FOR A SPECIAL JOB! KAREN HAS CHOSEN ME!

Graham lies on top of the small hill in front of Olga’s hutch.

He says, THAT SOUNDS EXCITING. ARE YOU GOING TO WORK?

Olga says, NO! I'VE BEEN CHOSEN FOR SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL.

Noel walks up to the hill and flicks his tail.

He asks, CHOSEN FOR WHAT?

Olga says, A PHOTOSHOOT!

Graham says, AH, AMAZING!

Noel lies in a patch of sun on the hill.

He says, I'VE BEEN PHOTOGRAPHED LOTS OF TIMES. HUMANS LOVE TAKING PICTURES OF CATS. WE'RE VERY POPULAR ON THE INTERNET, YOU KNOW.

Olga says, IT'S MUCH MORE THAN THAT. IT'S FOR A VERY SPECIAL PURPOSE! I'VE EVEN HAD MY FUR BRUSHED ESPECIALLY.

A person in a white car drives down the driveway. Olga watches through the open gate.

Olga says, OH! OH! LOOKS LIKE IT'S TIME FOR MY BIG MOMENT!

[Olga squeaking loudly]

Noel leaves. A woman wearing her long black and blond hair in a ponytail and a light blue pullover sweater walks through the gate. The woman carries a camera around her neck and lighting equipment on her shoulder. She pauses and looks toward Olga’s hutch. The woman nods and continues toward the house.

[Olga squeaking]

Olga stands on her back paws against the gated wall of her hutch. The wind blows squares of colourful fabric hanging against the fence. A butterfly flies away from a purple flower. In the house, Olga lies on a cushion covered with a black sheet.

Olga narrates, AND BEFORE I KNEW IT, I WAS SITTING ON A VERY PLUSH CUSHION INDEED!

In the living room, Karen and her mum kneel on either side of the coffee table with Olga between them. Jill, the woman with black and blond hair, adjusts a large studio light. She crouches behind a camera aimed at Olga.

Jill says, PERFECT, AND CAN WE HAVE OLGA SIDEWAYS?

Mrs. Sawdust says, OF COURSE.

She and Karen turn Olga’s cushion.

Olga narrates, I WAS A BIT SURPRISED I WAS HAVING MY PICTURE TAKEN SIDEWAYS. I'D ALWAYS CONSIDERED MY FACE MY BEST PART.

Karen gently strokes Olga’s fur.

Jill says, SAY CHEESE!

She takes a picture of Olga.

[Camera shutter clicking]

Olga narrates, I HAD NO IDEA WHY SHE WAS TALKING ABOUT CHEESE, BUT I GAVE HER MY BEST LOOK.

Olga raises her snout and Jill takes more pictures.

[Camera shutter clicking]

Jill says, THAT'S GREAT, OLGA, YOU ARE THE PERFECT MODEL!

Karen smiles.

Olga narrates, MODEL! ME! WAIT UNTIL MY FRIENDS HEAR THIS!

Karen says, WELL DONE, OLGA!

Jill takes another picture.

[Camera shutter clicking]

[Olga squeaking]

[Gentle music plays]

In the backyard, a bird flies out of a birdhouse hanging on the fence. Graham joins Fangio on the hill facing Olga’s hutch.

In the hutch, Olga says, I THINK I'M BEING USED AS A MODEL! PROBABLY FOR A VERY LARGE STATUE.

Noel lies on the hill beside Graham.

Olga says, THE SAWDUST PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS PUTTING UP STATUES TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE DONE FAMOUS DEEDS.

Noel asks, WHAT FAMOUS DEEDS HAVE GUINEA PIGS DONE?

Olga says, GUINEA PIGS HAVE DONE MANY GREAT THINGS! THERE ARE STATUES OF US ALL OVER THE WORLD!

Noel says, I DON'T BELIEVE YOU.

Olga narrates, OH, YES! IN FACT, THE FIRST EVER ANIMAL TO CLIMB ALL THE MOUNTAINS IN THE WORLD WAS A GUINEA PIG! LADY... UH... MM... CAMELLIA!

Graham says, TELL US MORE, OLGA!

[Light, upbeat music plays]

Olga narrates, ONCE UPON A LONG TIME AGO, PEOPLE, AND OTHER ANIMALS, LIKE CATS, DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS AT THE TOP OF MOUNTAINS.

In an animated story, snow covers the tops of tall mountains.

Olga narrates, UNTIL ONE DAY, AN EXPLORER GUINEA PIG, LADY CAMELLIA, DECIDED TO CLIMB ALL THE BIGGEST MOUNTAINS IN THE WORLD.

Lady Camellia stands at the bottom of a tall mountain carrying a backpack with a map tucked into the side and wearing a belt with binoculars and a compass attached. She looks up at the mountain.

Olga narrates, THE CONDITIONS WERE VERY TOUGH, AND VERY ICY, BUT SHE WAS A BRAVE GUINEA PIG, AND DESPITE HER SHORT LEGS, SHE COULD CLIMB AS SKILFULLY AS ANY MOUNTAINEER.

Lady Camellia and two other guinea pigs climb the mountain. A gust of icy wind blows the team of guinea pigs down the mountain.

[Wind gusting]

The guinea pigs continue up to the snow on the mountain.

Olga narrates, IN FACT, SHE INVENTED ALL SORTS OF CLEVER THINGS TO HELP HER CLIMB.

Lady Camellia wears hiking spikes on her boots and hammers an ice axe into the icy trail.

[Ice clanking]

Olga narrates, LIKE ICE AXES, AND SPECIAL SNOW BOOTS!

Lady Camellia and her team reach the top of the mountain. Lady Camellia holds up a guinea pig flag.

Olga narrates, WHEN SHE AND HER TEAM GOT TO THE TOP OF EACH MOUNTAIN, THEY PLANTED THE GUINEA PIG FLAG RIGHT AT THE SUMMIT.

Lady Camellia sticks the flag in the mountain.

[Cheering]

Pictures show Lady Camellia and her team planting flags in other mountains. A statue of Lady Camellia shows her holding a flag.

Olga narrates, SHE WAS SO FAMOUS THEY BUILT A GIGANTIC STATUE OF HER, WHICH YOU CAN STILL SEE TODAY, IN PERU.

Lady Camellia waves from behind the giant statue.

A crowd waves and cheers, WHEE!

The story ends.

In the live-action flashback, Graham says, OH, I WISH THERE WAS A STATUE OF A TORTOISE. EVEN A SMALL ONE.

Noel says, I STILL DON'T SEE WHY THEY'RE MAKING A STATUE OF YOU, OLGA.

Olga says, WELL, WE'LL JUST HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE!

A bee crawls around a purple flower. A toad lies on a wet rock.

[Toad croaking]

Fangio wanders alongside a flower bed.

[Fangio singing]

Noel walks across the yard.

Olga narrates, AS IT TURNED OUT, WE HAD TO WAIT AND SEE FOR A VERY LONG TIME. I'D ALMOST FORGOTTEN ABOUT IT, WHEN...

[Door opening]

Karen walks out the back door and down the steps with a large package.

Karen says, IT'S HERE!

She walks toward Olga’s hutch. In the hutch, Olga snatches a leaf off a pile of greens beside her food bowl.

[Rustling]

Karen sits on the stool in front of Olga’s hutch and opens the package.

[Paper rustling]

Karen unwraps the head of a large draft stopper that looks like Olga.

[Karen gasping]

Karen turns the draft stopper toward Olga.

Karen asks, DO YOU RECOGNIZE YOURSELF?

Olga narrates, RECOGNIZE MYSELF?! OF COURSE I DID! THE FACE WASN'T AS NICE AS THE REAL THING, BUT IT WASN'T BAD AT ALL!

[Paper rustling]

Karen unwraps the rest of the long draft stopper.

Olga narrates, BUT THE BODY!

[Paper rustling]

Olga stuffs her cheeks with grass.

Karen says, LOOK!

Olga narrates, THE BODY WAS FAR TOO LONG!

Karen says, OH, OLGA, YOU DON'T LOOK THAT HAPPY. BUT IT WILL BE PERFECT FOR WHAT MOM NEEDS IT FOR!

Karen grins. She grabs the wrapping paper and skips back toward the house.

Olga narrates, WHAT ON EARTH COULD THAT BE?

[Olga squeaking]

Olga scurries away from her food bowl. In the kitchen, Noel lies on the tile.

[Door opening]

[Wind gusting]

Karen walks through the back door and Mrs. Sawdust shivers. At the counter, Mrs. Sawdust looks over her shoulder at Karen and the large Olga draft stopper.

Karen says, HERE YOU GO, MOM, I DON'T THINK OLGA LIKES IT.

Mrs. Sawdust says, AW!

She takes the draft stopper from Karen.

Mrs. Sawdust says, IT'S GORGEOUS! AND JUST THE RIGHT LENGTH.

She leaves the counter and tucks the draft stopper against the door.

Mrs. Sawdust says, NO MORE COLD DRAFTS, AND A LOVELY SMILEY OLGA FACE TO LOOK AT. THE PERFECT DRAFT EXCLUDER!

Karen and Mrs. Sawdust high-five. Karen spins.

[Mrs. Sawdust giggling]

Noel says, HM!

He leaves his spot. Outside, Olga scurries across her hutch. Noel climbs through his cat door.

Noel says, WAIT 'TIL I TELL OLGA!

Graham pulls himself up to the top of the hill facing Olga’s hutch. Fangio sniffs around the grass on the hill. On the hill, Noel flicks his tail.

Noel says, YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT THEY'RE USING YOUR STATUE FOR, OLGA.

Olga narrates, THERE WAS SOMETHING ABOUT THE LOOK IN NOEL'S EYE I DIDN'T MUCH CARE FOR.

Outload, Olga says, IF I'LL NEVER GUESS, THERE'S NOT VERY MUCH POINT IN TRYING.

Noel says, THEY'VE PUT IT AGAINST THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR, TO KEEP THE COLD AIR FROM GETTING IN. IT'S CALLED A "DRAFT EXCLUDER." IT'LL STOP THE SAWDUSTS FROM GETTING COLD.

[Noel laughing sardonically]

Olga cheers, YES!

Noel says, "YES?!"

Olga says, I'VE DONE SOMETHING TO HELP THE SAWDUST FAMILY WITH THEIR HOME! GUINEA PIGS REALLY ARE VERY SPECIAL ANIMALS!

In the present, Mrs. Sawdust gives Mr. Sawdust a thumbs-up through the kitchen window and steps away from the sink. Mr. Sawdust climbs down from the ladder with a can of oil.

[Birds chirping]

The sun shines warmly on Olga’s hutch. Karen and Mrs. Sawdust meet Mr. Sawdust on the steps to the back door.

Mr. Sawdust says, RIGHT, LET'S GO INSIDE, AND FIX THAT DOOR HANDLE NOW.

Karen walks past her dad and skips across the yard to Olga’s hutch. She slides a dandelion leaf through the fenced wall beside the door.

Karen says, OH, OLGA, YOU REALLY ARE THE PERFECT GUINEA PIG.

Olga narrates, AND I'VE BEEN HELPING THE SAWDUSTS STAY WARM IN THEIR HOUSE EVER SINCE!

The Olga draft stopper, also known as a draft excluder, remains at the Sawdust’s backdoor.
