[Magical music plays]

In an animation, the sun shines brightly over a field of dandelions. A guinea pig with long brown fur frolics through the grass. In live action, the guinea pig rests in their hutch, a large wooden cage on posts in the Sawdust family’s backyard. Mr. and Mrs. Sawdust stand by a gate in the fence, and Karen, a girl with long brown hair in braided pigtails, runs up to the hutch with a kite.

[Guinea pig squeaking]

[Cheerful music plays]

The guinea pig sings, I'M A GUINEA PIG SENSATION WITH A GREAT IMAGINATION. I'M OLGA DA POLGA, THAT'S ME!

Facing Olga’s hutch, Noel, a black cat, lies on a small grassy hill with Graham, a small tortoise, and Fangio, a hedgehog. Mrs. Sawdust trims a bush. Mr. Sawdust builds a pen. Karen skips across the yard. Olga nibbles on a blade of grass beside Daisy, a black and white guinea pig. Noel swats at Olga from the roof of the hutch.

At the back door of the Sawdust’s house, Karen says, OLGA! DAISY! SNACKS!

Olga sings, MY HEAD IS FULL OF STORIES, OF DERRING-DO AND GLORIES, SO GATHER 'ROUND, AND LISTEN TO ME!

In animations, guinea pigs face a fire-breathing dragon, stand on a podium with first-place medals and look up at a princess locked in a castle.

A crowd cheers, HOORAY!

In live-action, Graham says, AMAZING.

Noel says, RIDICULOUS!

Fangio says, INTERESTING!

Daisy says, OH!

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

Karen and her parents smile at Olga in the hutch. In the house, they pet Olga. In the backyard, Karen puts a carrot in Olga’s food bowl.

Olga sings, OLGA DA POLGA, THAT'S ME!

[Olga squeaking]

Title: Olga da Polga. Based on the books by Michael Bond.

[Gentle music plays]

In live action, in the present, Karen sits on a stool outside the hutch and gently pets Olga, who lies in a pet bed on Karen’s lap. Karen wears her long brown hair in braided pigtails and purple overalls over a pink long-sleeved shirt with orange polka dots. The episode title reads, “Olga The Detective.”

Olga narrates, LIFE WITH THE SAWDUST FAMILY IS REALLY RATHER PLEASANT. ALTHOUGH, NOEL AND I DON'T ALWAYS SEE WHISKER TO WHISKER.

Noel lies on the hill facing Olga’s hutch.

Olga narrates, BUT THERE WAS ONCE A TIME THAT I ACTUALLY MISSED HIM AND WAS VERY WORRIED ABOUT HIM.

In a live-action flashback, a person drives through town. The wind gently blows colourful fabric squares hanging against the back fence.

Olga narrates, IT ALL BEGAN ON AN ORDINARY DAY.

In the Sawdust’s kitchen, Mr. Sawdust stands at the sink. Mr. Sawdust has short, dark grey hair and a thick grey beard and wears a red plaid, button-down shirt over a blue T-shirt. Mrs. Sawdust stands at the kitchen island with Karen and a pile of cat toys. Mrs. Sawdust has long, light brown hair and wears a light green, long-sleeved shirt.

Karen says, THIS IS NOEL'S FAVOURITE MICE TOY.

She holds up a grey mouse cat toy.

Mrs. Sawdust says, OH! DON'T FORGET THE CAT TREATS. WE MIGHT NEED THEM AT THE VETS.

[Mr. Sawdust gasping]

Mr. Sawdust says, SHH!

[Mr. Sawdust grunting]

Mr. Sawdust grabs a container from a cupboard by the stove and shakes his head. On the floor by his feet, Noel flicks his tail.

Mr. Sawdust quietly says, WE DON'T WANT NOEL TO KNOW THAT HE'S GOING TO THE VUH-EH-T FOR HIS ANNUAL JAB.

[Meowing]

Mr. Sawdust glances toward Noel.

[Mrs. Sawdust chuckling]

Mr. Sawdust quietly says, I'LL GO GET THE CARRIER.

Mrs. Sawdust quietly says, OKAY.

Mr. Sawdust leaves, and Mrs. Sawdust grabs the grey mouse toy.

Mrs. Sawdust asks, IS THAT THE FAVOURITE ONE?

Karen nods and says, YEAH.

Noel gets up and leaves the house through his cat door. He walks down the back steps.

Noel says, HMM.

Inside, Mr. Sawdust returns to the kitchen with a pet carrier.

He says, I'VE GOT THE CARRIER. NOW, I JUST NEED NOEL.

Mr. Sawdust looks around the kitchen.

Karen says, HE WAS HERE A MINUTE AGO.

She climbs down from her stool and looks around.

Karen says, NOEL? WHERE'S HE GONE?

She pulls herself up on the counter and looks out the window behind the sink.

Mrs. Sawdust says, NOEL?

Karen runs through the kitchen.

Mrs. Sawdust says, WE'D BETTER FIND HIM. THE APPOINTMENT'S SOON.

Karen runs out the back door.

Mr. Sawdust says, ALL RIGHT.

He opens a closet door and says, NOEL! NOEL?

Outside, Karen shouts, NOEL!

She walks down the back steps. In the hutch, Olga stands by the door. Daisy nibbles on a blade of grass.

[Guinea pig squeaks]

Karen says, NOEL!

She runs toward the front fence.

Karen stops and says, NOEL?

She runs to the middle of the yard and looks around.

Karen shouts, NOEL!

[Guinea pig squeaks]

Olga narrates, WELL, I WAS REALLY RATHER SURPRISED. NORMALLY, KAREN RESPONDED INSTANTLY TO OUR SQUEAKS. SOMETHING WAS WRONG.

By the back door, Mr. and Mrs. Sawdust lean on the railing.

Mrs. Sawdust asks, ANY LUCK, KAREN?

Karen says, NO, I HAVEN'T SEEN HIM ANYWHERE.

Mrs. Sawdust says, OH, I'M SURE HE WOULDN'T HAVE GONE FAR.

Mr. and Mrs. Sawdust walk down the steps. Karen stands by the park bench and looks around.

Karen says, HERE, NOEL!

Elsewhere in the yard, Noel walks around a fallen plant pot. Mr. Sawdust looks past a bush.

Mr. Sawdust says, NOEL, WHERE ARE YOU?

Mrs. Sawdust looks over the fence into the driveway.

She says, NOEL!

Noel leaps over the stone half-wall in the yard. Karen runs over to the hutch.

Karen asks, HAVE YOU SEEN NOEL, OLGA?

Olga narrates, I CERTAINLY HADN'T, BUT THEN, I HAD BEEN EATING MY BREAKFAST.

Olga nibbles on a piece of hay.

Mr. Sawdust sighs, OH.

He takes a seat on the stone wall.

Mr. Sawdust says, WHERE HAS HE VANISHED TO?

Mrs. Sawdust says, LET'S TRY INSIDE.

Mr. Sawdust says, OKAY, LET'S GO.

Olga narrates, AND THAT'S WHEN I REALIZED NOEL WAS MISSING! AND I DECIDED I WAS GOING TO HELP FIND HIM.

Olga looks through the hutch bedroom door.

She says, DAISY! WE'VE GOT A VERY IMPORTANT JOB TO DO! WE ARE GOING TO FIND NOEL.

In the bedroom doorway, Daisy says, ARE WE?

Olga says, OH, YES! GUINEA PIGS HAVE A LONG HISTORY OF DETECTIVE WORK.

[Gentle, exciting music plays]

In an animated story, at night, streetlights shine in a city with a tall clock tower.

Olga narrates, YOU SEE, A VERY LONG TIME AGO, THERE WAS A WORLD-FAMOUS GUINEA PIG DETECTIVE CALLED DANDELION HOLMES, ALONG WITH HER ASSISTANT, PARSLEY WATSON.

Guinea pig detective Dandelion Homes holds a magnifying glass. She wears a deerstalker hat and a trench coat. Parsley Watson wears a green bowler hat, green suit, and orange bow tie.

Olga narrates, SHE SOLVED ALL THE MOST IMPOSSIBLE CASES WITH HER CLEVER DEDUCTION SKILLS.

Dandelion Holmes and Parsley Watson walk up to a footprint on the floor.

Olga narrates, AND THEY FOUND CLUES THAT OTHERS COULDN'T.

Dandelion Holmes and Parsley Watson find a bald man hiding under a bed.

Olga narrates, THEY WERE SO GOOD THAT SAWDUST DETECTIVES COULD NEVER SOLVE THE CASES WITHOUT THEM.

The bald man crawls out from under the bed and stands between a police officer with dark brown hair and a police officer with light brown hair.

The bald man says, YOU CAUGHT ME AGAIN, DANDELION HOLMES.

The officer with dark brown hair takes the bald man away.

Olga narrates, THEY WERE THE SMARTEST DETECTIVES IN THE WORLD.

The officer with light brown hair pulls out a crate of carrots. Parsley Watson nibbles on a carrot. Dandelion Holmes looks through the magnifying glass, and the story ends. In the live-action flashback, Daisy nibbles on a blade of grass.

Olga says, WE HAVE TO FOLLOW IN THOSE GUINEA PIGS' PAW-STEPS. THIS IS A CASE FOR DANDELION HOLMES AND PARSLEY WATSON.

[Gentle, dramatic music plays]

Daisy says, OH! IS THAT ME?

Olga says, YES, DAISY!

On the grassy hill, Graham says, HELLO, OLGA.

Olga says, IT'S DANDELION HOLMES, ACTUALLY.

Daisy says, AND I'M PARSLEY WATSON.

Graham says, REALLY? GOSH! YOU LOOK VERY MUCH LIKE OLGA AND DAISY TO ME.

[Olga, as Dandelion Holmes, clearing her throat]

As Dandelion Holmes, Olga asks, GRAHAM, WHEN DID YOU LAST SEE NOEL?

Graham says, UM, HMM. TWO DAYS AGO, I THINK. NOT THAT THAT MEANS ANYTHING. WHEN YOU'RE A TORTOISE, YOU CAN GO FOR WEEKS WITHOUT SEEING ANYONE. IF YOU'RE FACING THE WRONG WAY.

As Dandelion Holmes, Olga says, HMM. NOEL HAS BEEN GONE LONGER THAN I THOUGHT. MAYBE FANGIO WILL KNOW SOMETHING.

She looks around. Elsewhere in the yard, Fangio scurries across the grass.

As Dandelion Holmes, Olga says, FANGIO! FANGIO!

[Fangio sniffing]

Fangio joins Graham on the grassy hill.

Fangio asks, WHAT'S GOING ON?

As Parsley Watson, Daisy says, WE NEED TO ASK YOU A FEW QUESTIONS.

Fangio says, OH, I'M NOT ANY GOOD AT QUIZZES.

As Dandelion Holmes, Olga says, THIS ISN'T A QUIZ, FANGIO. HAVE YOU SEEN NOEL THIS MORNING?

Fangio says, WELL, THAT I CAN ANSWER. NO, BECAUSE I WAS ASLEEP UNTIL YOU SHOUTED BY NAME. AND TALKING OF WHICH…

Yawning, Fangio says, I'M STILL FEELING A LITTLE BIT SNOOZY. CIAO!

He crawls down the hill.

Graham says, OH, GOOD IDEA. NAP TIME.

He slowly crawls down the hill.

[Graham humming]

Olga narrates, REALLY? GRAHAM AND FANGIO WEREN'T MUCH HELP AT ALL. WE NEED TO FIND NOEL. KAREN WAS COUNTING ON US.

[Gentle music plays]

Three cyclists coast down a hill on a street. In the backyard, a light wind gently blows flowers near the fence.

From inside, Mr. Sawdust yells, NOEL!

He looks around the kitchen.

Mr. Sawdust yells, NOEL!

Mrs. Sawdust looks under a piece of furniture.

She says, NOEL!

In the laundry room, Karen looks across the counter.

She says, NOEL!

Karen unfolds a pair of pants.

[Karen groaning]

Karen drops the pants in a laundry bin. In a bathroom, Mr. Sawdust crouches and looks in the toilet.

Mr. Sawdust groans, OH, WHERE HAS HE GONE?

In another room in the house, Noel creeps under a piece of furniture. In the backyard, Karen looks around a bush near the guinea pig hutch.

Olga narrates, AS THE TIME WORE ON, THERE WAS STILL NO SIGN OF NOEL. AND I WAS BEGINNING TO GET WORRIED.

Karen looks under the park bench. Olga stands by the door of the hutch.

Olga narrates, WE NEED CLUES.

By the back fence, Mrs. Sawdust opens the green compost bin and looks inside. She lets the lid drop closed and walks away. In the hutch, Daisy rests in the bedroom.

[Daisy sighing]

Daisy says, I MISS NOEL.

Olga says, MISS NOEL? REALLY, DAISY? WE ARE GUINEA PIG DETECTIVES.

By the door with Olga, Daisy nibbles on a blade of grass.

Olga says, COME ALONG.

She takes Daisy’s place in the hay-filled bedroom. Outside the hutch, Graham crawls up the grassy hill. Later in the hutch, Olga lies by her straw hideout and nibbles on grass.

Olga narrates, BUT THE TRUTH WAS I WAS MISSING NOEL TOO. THE GARDEN FELT STRANGELY EMPTY. I HOPED HE WAS COMING BACK.

Mr. Sawdust searches the yard with Karen.

[Mr. Sawdust sighing]

Mr. Sawdust says, OH, I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE LOCKED THAT CAT FLAP.

Mrs. Sawdust joins Mr. Sawdust.

Mr. Sawdust asks, ANYTHING?

Mrs. Sawdust says, NO. I'D BETTER PHONE UP AND CHANGE THE APPOINTMENT AT THE VUH-EH-T.

[Mr. Sawdust sighing]

[Guinea pig squeaking]

Olga narrates, VUH-EH-T. VET! THAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING!

Olga scurries across the hutch over to Daisy.

Olga says, DAISY, I'VE SOLVED THE CASE.

Daisy says, YOU HAVE?

Olga says, I HAVE DEDUCED NOEL IS GOING TO THE VETS!

Daisy says, OH!

Olga says, SO, HE'S NOT MISSING, HE'S…

Together, Olga and Daisy say, HIDING!

[Daisy gasping]

Daisy says, THAT'S IT!

Olga asks, WHAT'S IT?

Daisy says, IF WE SQUEAK REALLY LOUDLY, WE'LL BE ABLE TO FIND NOEL. HE WON'T BE ABLE TO STOP HIMSELF FROM COMING OUT TO SAY SOMETHING.

Olga says, WELL, I NEVER! THAT'S A BRILLIANT IDEA, DAISY. OF COURSE, IT IS WHAT I WAS JUST GOING TO SAY.

Daisy says, OF COURSE, YOU ARE BECAUSE YOU'RE DANDELION HOLMES.

Olga says, SHALL WE, DAISY? I MEAN, WATSON.

Olga and Daisy gather by the metal grate wall of their hutch.

[Olga and Daisy squeaking loudly]

In the garden shed, Noel lies on the workbench.

[Noel groaning]

[Olga and Daisy squeaking]

Noel says, NOT THAT SQUEAK.

[Squeaking]

Noel walks away from the shed.

He says, I'VE HAD ENOUGH.

Karen steps outside with Mrs. Sawdust.

[Olga and Daisy squeaking]

Noel stands by a flower pot near the hutch.

[Mrs. Sawdust gasping]

Mrs. Sawdust says, NOEL!

Olga narrates, OUR PLAN HAD WORKED.

Noel grumbles, HMM.

Olga says, DANDELION HOLMES ALWAYS GETS HER CAT!

Daisy says, WITH THE HELP OF PARSLEY WATSON!

Olga says, YES! BUT I'M GLAD WE FOUND YOU, NOEL.

Noel says, HMM. AT LEAST I SHALL GET AWAY FROM ALL YOUR SQUEAKING AT THE VET.

Olga says, WELL, REALLY!

[Karen giggling]

Mr. Sawdust joins Karen and Mrs. Sawdust outside with the pet carrier.

[Mr. Sawdust sighing]

Mr. Sawdust runs down the back steps.

He says, NOEL! WE'VE BEEN LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR YOU!

[Noel meowing]

Mr. Sawdust puts the pet carrier down at the bottom of the grassy hill. He opens the door, and Noel jumps in.

Mr. Sawdust says, GOOD WORK, YOU TWO. THANKS FOR ALL THE SQUEAKING.

[Olga and Daisy squeaking]

Mrs. Sawdust says, MAYBE WE CAN STILL MAKE THAT APPOINTMENT.

Mr. Sawdust says, GOOD IDEA. YOU GO GRAB THE COATS. COME ON, NOEL. LET'S GET GOING.

He picks up the pet carrier. Mrs. Sawdust carries her purse, coat, and Karen’s coat.

Karen says, WELL DONE, OLGA AND DAISY.

[Mrs. Sawdust laughing]

Mrs. Sawdust says, COME ON.

She takes Karen’s hand, and they follow Mr. Sawdust toward the gate.

[Olga and Daisy squeaking]

[Gentle music plays]

The sun shines brightly across the fabric squares on the back fence. Graham wanders alongside one of the many raised garden beds.

[Graham humming]

Fangio strolls across the grass.

[Fangio singing]

In the present, Daisy sits in the pet bed on Karen’s lap. Karen smiles and pets Daisy.

Olga narrates, AND THAT WAS THE TIME DAISY AND I SOLVED THE CASE OF THE MISSING CAT.

By the door in the hutch, Olga nibbles on blades of grass.

Olga narrates, AND AS FOR NOEL, HE GOT LOTS OF TREATS WHEN HE CAME HOME FROM THE VETS.

In a flashback, Karen pets Noel.
