Olga sings, MY HEAD IS FULL OF STORIES, OF DERRING-DO AND GLORIES, SO GATHER 'ROUND, AND LISTEN TO ME!

Noel says, RIDICULOUS!

Fangio says, INTERESTING!

Daisy says, OH!

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

Karen and her parents smile at Olga in the hutch. In the house, they pet Olga. In the backyard, Karen puts a carrot in Olga’s food bowl.

Mr. Sawdust says, OH, DON'T WORRY. WE'LL USE ANOTHER ONE FOR NOW. I'M SURE THEY WON'T MIND.

Karen says, I'LL ADD A NEW BOWL TO MY LIST.

Mr. Sawdust says, GOOD IDEA.

Mrs. Sawdust puts the chopped vegetables in a ramekin.

She says, YOU CAN USE THIS ONE FOR NOW. HERE WE GO.

Mrs. Sawdust passes the ramekin to Karen.

Karen says, THANKS, MOM.

She hops off her stool. In the living room, string lights hang on the wall. In a large cage, Olga lies in a carrot-themed guinea pig hideaway, nibbling on a blade of grass.

Karen says, OLGA, DAISY. BREAKFAST.

Daisy lies in a star-themed hideaway. Karen brings Olga and Daisy the ramekin.

Olga narrates, WELL, SOMETHING HAD GONE VERY WRONG.

Karen puts the ramekin between Olga and Daisy in the cage.

Olga narrates, THIS WASN'T MY NORMAL BOWL. IN FACT, IT WAS HALF THE SIZE.

[Karen giggling]

[Guinea pig squeaking]

Karen says, SORRY, OLGA. MOM ACCIDENTALLY BROKE YOUR BOWL. MAYBE FATHER CHRISTMAS WILL BRING YOU A BIG NEW ONE!

Olga narrates, WELL, I HAD NO IDEA WHO FATHER CHRISTMAS WAS. BUT I HOPED HE'D COME SOON.

From outside the living room, Mr. Sawdust asks, DO YOU WANT TO COME AND HELP ME UNTANGLE THESE LIGHTS, KAREN?

Karen says, COMING!

She leaves.

Outside her hideaway, Olga says, DID YOU HEAR THAT, DAISY? ONE OF THE SAWDUST FRIENDS IS VISITING AND BRINGING US A SPECIAL NEW BOWL!

Olga leaps back inside her hideaway.

Noel flicks his tail and says, WELL, IT'S THE SAME EVERY YEAR.

Olga says, PARDON?

Noel says, THE SAWDUSTS OPEN UP LOTS OF BOXES AND PULL THINGS CALLED "CRACKERS," AND FALL ASLEEP IN FRONT OF THE SAWDUST BOX.

In her hideaway, Daisy says, OOH!

Noel says, AND THEY MAKE A BIG FUSS OVER ME. I ALWAYS GET A PRESENT AND SOME VERY SPECIAL CAT DINNER. IN FACT, I THINK IT MIGHT BE A "CELEBRATE CATS" DAY.

Olga says, WELL, GUINEA PIGS HAVE THEIR OWN CELEBRATION EVERY YEAR TOO.

Daisy says, WE DO?

Olga says, YES, DAISY. IT'S CALLED...

Noel looks away from Olga and Daisy.

[Guinea pig singing continues]

Olga narrates, IT REALLY IS THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR.

The dandelion flower star sparkles.

The story ends, and Daisy says, OH, OLGA! CAN WE CELEBRATE PIGGYMAS?

In the live-action flashback, Olga says, OF COURSE, DAISY! I SUPPOSE YOU COULD JOIN IN TOO, NOEL.

Noel says, NO, THANKS. I'LL BE TOO BUSY WITH MY PRESENT AND ENJOYING MY SPECIAL DINNER.

Olga sniffs around the blanket in the cage.

She narrates, WELL, REALLY. THIS WAS TOO MUCH. NOEL WOULD GET ALL THAT, AND I HADN'T EVEN GOT MY NEW BOWL.

Noel climbs down from the couch and leaves. Olga nibbles on a mouthful of blades of grass.

Olga narrates, I'D BEEN WAITING FOR WEEKS! I WAS BEGINNING TO THINK FATHER CHRISTMAS WAS NOT COMING AT ALL.

[Cheerful holiday music plays]

In town, lights wrapped around a tree with a star on top shine at the end of a street. Pinecones hang in the Sawdust’s tree. In the guinea pig cage, Olga turns away from a toy hanging from the bars and scratches her ear. In her hideaway, Daisy shakes her head. Karen walks toward a table beside wrapped presents under the tree.

From close by, Mr. Sawdust quietly says, LET'S LEAVE THESE PIES AND CARROTS FOR FATHER CHRISTMAS AND HIS REINDEER BEFORE WE GO TO BED.

Karen puts a plate of mini apple pies and carrots on the table. Mr. Sawdust places a glass of milk beside it.

Behind Karen and Mr. Sawdust, Mrs. Sawdust says, I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S CHRISTMAS EVE ALREADY.

[Karen giggling]

Mrs. Sawdust says, RIGHT, LET'S GO TO BED.

Mr. Sawdust nods. Karen walks over to the guinea pig cage.

Karen says, GOOD NIGHT, OLGA AND DAISY. HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE.

[Olga and Daisy squeaking]

[Gentle music plays]

At night, in a timelapse, the moon rises.

Olga narrates, LATER THAT NIGHT, I WAS CURLED UP IN THE HAY WHEN I WAS AWOKEN BY A NOISE.

[Sleigh bells ringing]

[Gentle, cheerful music plays]

On a new day, the sun shines brightly outside. String lights shine around a sign on the mantel that reads, “Merry Christmas.” Olga climbs out of her hideaway.

Olga narrates, AND WHEN I OPENED MY EYES AGAIN, ALL THE SAWDUSTS WERE THERE.

Mr. and Mrs. Sawdust sit by the tree with Karen in their holiday sweaters. Karen unwraps a sparkly pink case. Behind her, a red ribbon hangs on a purple bike.

[Karen gasping]

Karen says, WHOA.

On the couch, Mr. Sawdust says, OH-HO-HO!

He puts on green slippers with claws.

Mr. Sawdust says, I LOVE MY MONSTER SLIPPERS. THEY'RE JUST WHAT I'VE ALWAYS WANTED.

[Mr. Sawdust growling]

[Karen giggling]

[Mrs. Sawdust laughing]

Mrs. Sawdust asks, DO YOU LIKE YOUR BIKE?

Karen says, I LOVE IT.

Mrs. Sawdust says, AW!

She and Karen share a hug.

Mr. Sawdust says, LOOK, THERE'S ONE LEFT UNDER THE TREE.

Karen pulls out a gift bag from under the tree.

Mr. Sawdust says, IT'S FOR NOEL.

Olga narrates, WELL, IT SEEMED THE ONLY ONE WHO HADN'T GOT PRESENTS WAS US GUINEA PIGS.

Mr. Sawdust pets Noel, who lies beside him on the couch. Olga and Daisy nibble on blades of grass.

[Olga and Daisy squeaking]

Mr. Sawdust says, OH, LOOK WHO'S FINALLY WOKEN UP.

[Olga and Daisy squeaking]

Karen says, OLGA, DAISY, THERE'S A PRESENT FOR YOU TOO!

Mrs. Sawdust reaches under the tree.

Olga narrates, A PRESENT? FOR ME?

In front of the guinea pig cage, Karen unwraps a present.

Noel says, HUH?

Karen shows Olga and Daisy a yellow ceramic bowl that reads, “Olga and Daisy.”

Karen asks, WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Olga narrates, WELL, I COULD HARDLY BELIEVE MY EYES.

Mrs. Sawdust lifts the top of the cage and takes out the small ramekin.

Olga narrates, IT WAS PERFECT.

Karen replaces the ramekin with the yellow bowl.

Olga narrates, IT EVEN HAD MY NAME INSIDE. "OLGA!"

[Olga squeaking]

Olga narrates, AND DAISY'S NAME TOO, OF COURSE.

[Olga and Daisy squeaking]

Mrs. Sawdust says, I THINK THEY LIKE IT.

Karen says, FATHER CHRISTMAS BROUGHT IT FOR YOU. HE ONLY VISITS ONCE A YEAR.

Olga pulls her snout out of the bowl.

She narrates, FATHER CHRISTMAS? MAYBE THAT'S WHO HAD VISITED THE LIVING ROOM LAST NIGHT.

Mr. Sawdust walks over with a bowl of vegetables.

He says, AND I'VE GOT A VERY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS MEAL TO GO WITH IT TOO.

Mrs. Sawdust lifts the top of the cage, and Mr. Sawdust fills the new food bowl with lettuce, carrots and tomato.

Mr. Sawdust says, MERRY CHRISTMAS, YOU TWO.

Mrs. Sawdust closes the cage. On either side of the new bowl, Olga and Daisy nibble on lettuce pieces.

[Olga and Daisy squeaking]

Karen, Mr. and Mrs. Sawdust turn toward the couch.

[Noel meowing]

[Noel purring]

Mrs. Sawdust says, DON'T WORRY, NOEL. YOU'LL GET YOUR SPECIAL DINNER TOO.

Mr. Sawdust sits on the couch and reaches inside Noel’s gift bag.

Mr. Sawdust says, AND, OF COURSE, HERE'S YOUR PRESENT. YOUR FAVOURITE KIND OF TOY.

He pulls out a wand cat toy with colourful strings and pink feathers.

Noel says, HMM.

He turns away from the toy.

Mrs. Sawdust says, NOW, LET'S GO MAKE A START ON OUR CHRISTMAS DINNER.

Karen nods and says, YES!

She leaves with Mrs. Sawdust.

Munching on her piece of lettuce, Daisy says, MM-MM-MM. HAPPY PIGGYMAS, OLGA!

Olga says, HAPPY PIGGYMAS, DAISY.

[Olga munching]

With a mouthful of lettuce, Olga says, HAPPY CHRISTMAS, NOEL.

On a couch pillow, Noel flicks his tail.

He says, HAPPY CHRISTMAS, OLGA AND DAISY.

Noel climbs down from the couch. In the present, in the Sawdust family’s backyard, Noel perches on the grassy hill in front of the guinea pig hutch. Graham lies beside him.

[Gentle music plays]

Fangio wanders up the hill.

[Fangio singing]

[Fangio sniffing]

Olga and Daisy lie on the hay in the hutch.
