In an animation, the sun shines brightly over a field of dandelions. A guinea pig with long brown fur frolics through the grass. In live action, the guinea pig rests in their hutch, a large wooden cage on posts in the Sawdust family’s backyard. Facing Olga’s hutch, Noel, a black cat, lies on a small grassy hill with Graham, a small tortoise, and Fangio, a hedgehog. Mrs. Sawdust trims a bush. Mr. Sawdust builds a pen. Karen skips across the yard. Olga nibbles on a blade of grass beside Daisy, a black and white guinea pig. Noel swats at Olga from the roof of the hutch.
At the back door of the Sawdust’s house, Karen says, OLGA! DAISY! SNACKS!
Olga sings, MY HEAD IS FULL OF STORIES, OF DERRING-DO AND GLORIES, SO GATHER 'ROUND, AND LISTEN TO ME!

Olga narrates, BUT IT'S ALWAYS NICE TO GO ON NEW ADVENTURES, AND MEET NEW FRIENDS. AND THERE WAS A TIME WE WENT TO THE SEASIDE, AND MET A PRINCE, A POLICE OFFICER, AND A PILOT!
In a live-action flashback, on a beach, the sun shines brightly across the sand, and the wind gently blows a tall grassy plant.
[Seagulls squawking]
[Wind lightly gusting]
At Calum’s house on the beach, Calum and Karen sit on the couch with Calum’s brown-haired guinea pig Boris in a pet bed on their laps. Calum has short, light brown hair and wears a white, block-patterned button-down short-sleeved shirt and green shorts. Karen wears an orange and pink striped, long-sleeved shirt and purple shorts. Mrs. Sawdust stands nearby in the open kitchen wearing a light green, short-sleeved button-down shirt unbuttoned over a blue and white striped T-shirt with white pants. Mr. Sawdust sits across from Karen and Calum, wearing a dark purple button-down shirt.
Olga narrates, IT WAS THE SECOND DAY OF OUR TRIP, AND WE WERE LOOKING AFTER COUSIN CALUM AND HIS GUINEA PIGS, WHILE HIS MOM WAS AT WORK.
Karen says, AW, YOU'RE SO CUTE, BORIS!
Calum asks, DO YOU WANT A CARROT?
[Boris squeaking]
Mr. Sawdust stands. Mrs. Sawdust looks out the kitchen window.
[Mrs. Sawdust sighing]
Mrs. Sawdust says, I DON'T THINK WE'LL GET TO THE BEACH TODAY.
Mr. Sawdust joins Mrs. Sawdust and looks out the window.
Mr. Sawdust says, AH, YOU'RE PROBABLY RIGHT... IT'S NOT LOOKING TOO GOOD OUT THERE.
Dark clouds fill the sky.
Mrs. Sawdust says, IT WAS SO NICE YESTERDAY!
Mr. Sawdust says, OH, THAT'S THE WEATHER FOR YOU. ONE MINUTE IT'S SUNNY, THE NEXT MINUTE IT'S RAINING! RIGHT, KIDS. IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE WE'RE GOING TO GET TO THE BEACH JUST YET. WHAT'LL WE DO INSTEAD?
Karen and Calum look disappointed.
Calum says, UH...
Karen says, WE COULD ALWAYS PLAY BOARD GAMES.
Calum says, YEAH! WE'VE GOT LOTS!
Mr. Sawdust says, PERFECT!
He kneels beside the couch and says, THOUGH I MUST WARN YOU, I AM IN IT TO WIN IT!
[Mrs. Sawdust laughing]
Mrs. Sawdust says, WELL, LET'S GET BORIS BACK OUTSIDE, AND WE CAN BRING BESSY, OLGA, AND DAISY THEIR BREAKFAST FIRST. AND THEN WE CAN GET INTO GAME MODE. AND BEAT YOUR DAD. AGAIN.
Karen smiles and nods. Calum grins.
[Boris squeaking]
Karen says, THAT'S RIGHT, BORIS! YOU'RE GOING TO GET TO SEE YOUR NEW FRIEND, OLGA! SHE SQUEAKS A LOT TOO.
[Boris squeaking]
[Mrs. Sawdust laughing]
[Gentle music plays]
Karen feeds Boris a blade of grass. Calum brushes Boris’s fur. In the backyard, the wind gently blows red and blue flags on a rectangular castle guinea pig hutch and different-coloured triangles hanging on a house-shaped hutch. In the shade, guinea pig hideaways fill a large pen run.
[Seagulls squawking in the distance]
Olga narrates, OUT IN OUR CASTLE RESIDENCE, I WAS JUST TELLING DAISY ALL ABOUT MEETING BORIS YESTERDAY.
In the pen, Daisy stands in a wooden hideaway.
Olga says, SO, HE TOLD A STORY ABOUT HOW HE WAS ONCE A PRINCE, AND I WAS A PRINCESS, WITH PALACES ALL OVER THE WORLD!
Daisy says, OH! SO, HOW DID HE END UP LIVING HERE?
Olga says, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I ASKED, DAISY. BORIS COULDN'T QUITE REMEMBER, BUT I SOON FILLED HIM IN.
Daisy says, OH, DO TELL, OLGA!
Olga says, WELL, IT ALL HAPPENED A LONG, LONG TIME AGO, IN A COUNTRY FAR, FAR AWAY...

[Magical music plays]
Swirls of colour fill the air. Boris and the brown-haired princess, who is Olga, turn into guinea pigs.
[Boris and Olga squeaking]
Olga narrates, AND THE MAGICIAN, SEEING HIS CHANCE TO LIVE IN THE PRINCE'S FANCY PALACE, SENT US FAR, FAR AWAY, ON A BIG SHIP.

By a dock on a beach, an anchor on the ship drops into the water.
[Splashing]

A sailor with a moustache carries the crate of carrots up a ramp onto the ship.
Olga narrates, AND AS I SAILED AWAY, BORIS STAYED ON DRY LAND.
Olga sails away in the crate. She waves to Boris, who stands on a crate on the dock. Boris waves and Olga nibbles on a carrot. The story ends.
In the live-action flashback, Olga says, AND THAT'S WHERE CALUM FOUND HIM. WHILE I WAS TAKEN TO THE LITTLE WHISKERS ANIMAL HOME.
Daisy says, OH! THAT'S A REALLY GOOD STORY, OLGA.
Olga says, THANK YOU, DAISY.
[Gentle, cheerful music plays]
Karen skips across the yard to the guinea pig pen. Mrs. Sawdust follows with Boris.
Mrs. Sawdust says, COME ON, BORIS. TIME FOR YOU TO HAVE A RUN-AROUND.
She places Boris in the pen beside a piece of carrot.
Olga says, HERE HE IS NOW! HE CAN TELL YOU ALL ABOUT HIS ADVENTURES.
Karen says, ENJOY YOUR BREAKFAST, EVERYONE!
A fence separates Olga and Daisy from Boris.
Mrs. Sawdust says, COME ON, LET'S GO INSIDE, AND PICK SOME BOARD GAMES IN CASE IT STARTS RAINING.
Karen says, OKAY!
She and Mrs. Sawdust close the roof door on the hutch and leave.
Olga says, YOO-HOO! BORIS! OVER HERE...
Boris says, 'ALLO, 'ALLO, 'ALLO, OLGA!
He lies on the top of his small castle hideaway.
Olga says, I WAS JUST TELLING DAISY THE STORY OF HOW YOU WERE ONCE A PRINCE.
Daisy says, WITH BIG PALACES, AND LOTS OF CARROTS...
Boris says, WELL, ABOUT THAT... I'VE DECIDED I MIGHT'VE BEEN A POLICE OFFICER INSTEAD.
Olga says, A POLICE OFFICER?
Boris says, EXACTLY!
Daisy nibbles on a blade of grass.
Boris asks, WHERE WERE YOU BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 2:00 AND 4:00 PM YESTERDAY, YOUNG GUINEA PIG?
Daisy says, UH... HERE!
Boris says, HM. OH, LIKELY STORY! I MIGHT HAVE TO WRITE THAT IN MY NOTEBOOK.
Olga narrates, YESTERDAY A PRINCE, AND TODAY A POLICE OFFICER, ALTHOUGH I LIKED HIS STORIES, I WAS VERY CONFUSED.
Olga nibbles on blades of grass. Boris walks down the ramp of his castle hideaway.
OIga narrates, WHAT WAS GOING ON?
She walks across the pen toward the wooden hideaway.
[Gentle music plays]
Later in the day, it rains, and dark clouds fill the sky. Spider webs stretch between yellow flowers in a lush plant. In the house, Mrs. Sawdust stands in the living room facing Mr. Sawdust, Calum and Karen, who sit on the couch. Mrs. Sawdust wiggles her body.
[Thunder crashing in the distance]
Mr. Sawdust says, UH.
Mrs. Sawdust pushes at the air.
[Karen giggling]
Karen says, ERM... WOBBLING?
Mrs. Sawdust says, OOH! OOH!
She dances
[Karen laughing]
[Mr. Sawdust chuckling]
Karen guesses, DANCING?
Mrs. Sawdust says, OOH! EH...
She furrows her brow. Calum and Mr. Sawdust share a look. Mrs. Sawdust holds her ear.
Calum says, SOUNDS LIKE...?
Mrs. Sawdust plugs her nose.
[Karen giggling]
Karen says, SMELLY.
Mrs. Sawdust points to Karen and waves her arms.
Calum says, EH...

[Gentle music plays]
Outside, it pours rain.
[Thunder crashing]
A raindrop hangs off a leaf.
[Thunder rumbling]
In the house, Daisy lies in her blue star guinea pig hideaway filled with grass and hay in a pen. On opposite sides of a fence in the pen, Olga and Boris nibble on blades of grass.
Olga narrates, EVEN WHEN WE GOT INSIDE, I WAS STILL THINKING ABOUT BORIS AND HIS STORIES.
Karen and Calum sit on the floor with Olga, Daisy and Boris. Mr. and Mrs. Sawdust sit on the couch behind them. Karen frowns and furrows her brow.
[Karen sighing]
Karen says, OLGA'S VERY QUIET.
Olga narrates, REALLY. NO ONE COULD OUT-STORY ME. BUT BORIS HAD TO BE GETTING HIS IDEAS FROM SOMEWHERE.
Karen looks back toward Mr. Sawdust and says, I HOPE SHE'S OKAY!
Mrs. Sawdust says, MAYBE SHE'D LIKE TO WATCH SOME T.V.
Calum says, THAT'S WHAT BORIS LIKES TO DO.
Mrs. Sawdust says, OH!
She grabs a remote and turns on the living room T.V. and everyone watches a black-and-white show with a plane gliding through the air over a forest.
[Cheerful, upbeat music plays]
Olga narrates, I HAD TO ADMIT, I LIKED WATCHING THE SAWDUST BOX TOO.
She faces the T.V. and nibbles on a blade of grass.
Olga narrates, AND THIS LOOKED VERY INTERESTING.
[Plane engine puttering]
Mrs. Sawdust says, LOOK AT THEM BOTH, GLUED TO THE BOX.
Calum says, BORIS LOVED THE SHOW ABOUT THE POLICE OFFICER LAST NIGHT.
[Olga gasping]
Olga narrates, A POLICE OFFICER! SUDDENLY, I UNDERSTOOD PERFECTLY.
[Olga squeaking]
[Mr. Sawdust chuckling]
Mr. Sawdust says, WELL, SHE'S BACK TO HER NORMAL SELF!
Mrs. Sawdust nods.
Olga narrates, BORIS' STORIES WERE ABOUT WHATEVER HE'D WATCHED ON TELEVISION!
On the T.V. show, the plane glides above snowy mountains.
Olga narrates, ONE DAY A PRINCE, THE NEXT A POLICE OFFICER!
Mrs. Sawdust says, THEY'RE TWO OF KIND.
Mr. Sawdust nods.
Olga narrates, WE CERTAINLY WERE.
Olga and Boris sniff each other through the bars of the fence.
Olga narrates, WE WERE STORYTELLERS. AND I KNEW EXACTLY WHAT STORY I WAS GOING TO TELL NEXT!

On the other side of the pen, Olga says, IT IS.
Boris says, I'VE BEEN THINKING, OLGA, THAT MAYBE I WAS ACTUALLY ONCE A PILOT, FLYING A PLANE THROUGH THE SKY!
Olga says, WELL, THAT'S FUNNY, BORIS. BECAUSE I WAS ONCE A PILOT TOO.
Boris says, YOU WERE?!
Olga says, AND NOT JUST ANY PILOT. ONE WHO BROKE THE WORLD RECORD FOR DOING THE MOST LOOP-THE-LOOPS!
Boris says, WELL, TALLY-HO!
In the wooden hideaway, Daisy says, OH, HOW EXCITING!
Olga says, LET ME TELL YOU ALL ABOUT IT!

Olga leaves and walks over to the blue hideaway. Mrs. Sawdust looks toward the kitchen window.
[Mrs. Sawdust gasping]
Mrs. Sawdust says, OH, LOOK!
[Birds chirping]
[Gentle music plays]
The sun shines brightly through the window.
Mr. Sawdust says, WHAT DID I SAY? THE SUN'S OUT!
Karen asks, DOES THAT MEAN WE CAN GO TO THE BEACH?!
Mrs. Sawdust says, YEAH!
Calum cheers, YES!
Mr. Sawdust says, LET'S GO FETCH THE BUCKETS AND SPADES!
Karen and Calum get up off the floor. Mr. Sawdust rises from the couch.
Mrs. Sawdust says to the guinea pigs, AND YOU CAN ALL GO BACK OUTSIDE, AND ENJOY THE SUNSHINE.
In the blue hideaway, Daisy nibbles on a blade of grass. In the backyard, the sun shines brightly over the castle hutch and the wind gently blows the flags on top.
[Birds chirping]
[Gentle music plays]
[Seagulls squawking]
In the pen, in his blue castle hideaway, Boris’s nose twitches.
Boris says, WELL! IT'S A PERFECT DAY FOR FLYING!
[Guinea pigs squeaking]
[Birds chirping]
[Gentle music plays]
In live-action, in the present, a bird perches high in a tree. In the Sawdust’s backyard, Noel lies in the sun on the grassy hill.
[Noel purring]
Fangio scurries down the hill.
[Fangio sniffing and humming]
Fangio climbs back up the hill and joins Noel and Graham, facing Olga and Daisy in the hutch.
Olga narrates, YES, IT'S ALWAYS NICE TO GO ON ADVENTURES AND MEET NEW FRIENDS.
Olga nibbles on a blade of grass. Daisy lies in the straw hideaway. Graham starts to crawl down the hill.
Olga narrates WHETHER THEY WERE ONCE A PRINCE, A POLICE OFFICER, OR A PILOT. AND IN STORYTELLING, YOU CAN BE WHOEVER YOU WANT TO BE.
[Playful music plays]
