Transcript: Learn how to make a presentation
Teacher Wynne stands in front of a smart board. A picture of two horses by a tipi appears.
Teacher Wynne is in her twenties, with long straight brown hair. She wears glasses and a blue Homework Zone T-shirt.
She says HI, I'M TEACHER WYNNE
AND TODAY WE'RE GOING TO TALK
ABOUT HOW TO BECOME A BETTER
PRESENTER.
NOW WHEN YOUR TEACHER ASKS YOU
TO GIVE A PRESENTATION IT'S
REALLY NOT ALL THAT SCARY.
SO I HAVE FIVE TIPS FOR YOU TO
GO THROUGH TO HELP YOU BECOME A
BETTER PRESENTER.
She clicks on the board and says THE FIRST ONE IS TO BE CONFIDENT
BECAUSE WHEN YOU BELIEVE IN WHAT
YOU'RE SAYING THEN YOU MAKE
EVERYONE ELSE BELIEVE IN WHAT
YOU'RE SAYING SO YOU NEED TO
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CONFIDENCE.
THE SECOND THING IS TO MAKE SURE
YOU SPEAK IN A CLEAR VOICE.
NOW IT DOESN'T HAVE TO A LOUD
VOICE BUT IT SHOULD BE NICE AND
CLEAR SO THAT EVERYONE IN THE
ROOM CAN HEAR WHAT YOU'RE
SAYING.
ON THE THIRD THING WE WANT TO
DO IS MAKE SURE WE HAVE EYE
CONTACT.
GOOD PRESENTERS MAKE EYE CONTACT
WITH EVERYBODY IN THE ROOM.
ON THE FOURTH THING WE WANT TO
DO IS MAKE SURE WE PRACTICE
BECAUSE THE MORE WE PRACTICE THE
BETTER WE ARE GIVING OUR
PRESENTATION SO YOU MIGHT WANT
TO PRACTICE WITH YOUR FAMILY,
YOU MIGHT WANT WANT TO PRACTICE
ON YOUR FRIENDS.
YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO SET UP
YOUR STUFFED ANIMALS AND GIVE A
LITTLE PRESENTATION BUT THE MORE
WE PRACTICE THE BETTER WE
BECOME.
AND THE LAST THING IS WE ALWAYS
WANT TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE FUN
BECAUSE GIVING A PRESENTATION
ISN'T ALL THAT HARD SO WE ALWAYS
WANT TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE FUN.
SO I'M TEACHER WYNNE, THANKS FOR
WATCHING.
