It’s a dish that binds the Yoruba and Edo tribes from different parts of Nigeria. She even makes time to show off some of her Nigerian dance moves with the entire family. The day is not complete without Bimisire receiving a special message from someone who motivates her to continue pursuing her goal of becoming a lawyer just like her mom!

Hypa's song is chock full of amazing facts, more commonly known as the laughing hyena, Hypa and those like her have a bite almost as strong as a polar bear! They can chew through bones and digest them too! She's out to show the world that hyenas are not just scavengers, they hunt a lot of food too.

A mystery is afoot at Elinor's school when one of the class plants grows in an unusual shape. Instead of growing straight up like the other plants, this plant is growing in a zig-zag pattern! Elinor and her friends investigate what could have happened to this plant to make it grow like that. After learning that most plants always grow up towards the sky, the kids piece together the clues and discover that this plant spent some time on its side, and then some time right side up, resulting in the zig-zap pattern! The kids love the shape of this plant, and name it "the Zig Zag Plant. ---- Insect Day is coming up at school and Elinor couldn't be more thrilled to finish her home-made butterfly costume. However, she quickly runs into a problem because she can't drink anything when her hands are busy being the wings in her costume! Elinor sets out to solve the problem with her Dad by learning how real butterflies drink. After some careful watching, she realizes that a butterfly doesn't even have a mouth but a proboscis, which looks like a long straw, and that's how they drink nectar from a flower! This gives Elinor the idea to add a super long drinking straw to complete her costume.

Baby Kiwimammathus has ventured too far from her mountain and turns up in the Vegesaur Valley, lost and in a spot of trouble. Ginger is excited to see her playmate once again, but quickly discovers Baby Kiwi won't be doing much playing. With her soft, kiwi-padded feet adapted only to snowy surfaces, she can't move anywhere in the Valley without her feet feeling ouchy! Upon discovering this, Ginger comes up with a clever plan. Using jungle materials, she and the Pea-Rexes make coverings for Baby Kiwi's feet so she can get back to her habitat.

Kit and Pup are celebrating Christmas and finding out about snow! They go sledging, have a snowball fight and make a snowman. Through their Christmassy adventures, Kit and Pup find out that snow is cold, comes from the sky and is made of snowflakes. In the live action investigation two little scientists watch what happens to snow when it gets warm, and in the material world a little explorer waves from the top of a ball of snow.

Jambo is not in shape and Jasmine wants him to exercise. Because Jambo doesn't like sports very much, Jasmine composes a song that he can't resist dancing to (and dancing is a form of exercise). The problem is that the song is too irresistible: when it is played, everyone dances to it and they can't stop. It's Dudua, who likes dancing the least, who helps them solve this problem.
