Red is sad about being inside, but Yellow cheers her up by singing a song about how much fun they can have inside. When the rain finally stops and the Colourblocks can play outside, they discover that Grey has been causing everything to look less bright by making everything a duller colour. Together they all play outside and enjoy a grey day even more.

In a miraculous show of skill, the Baby Broc executes a sliding tackle that not only wins the game, but also saves Split from the now-boiling hot ball.

While playing ice hockey on Europa, an ice-covered moon of Jupiter, a stray puck hits Ella's wrist and injures Maggie. Dad can fix her but needs palladium to fuse her circuits. Ella, Slippy and Madhu must hurry to find some but they only have a paper star chart to lead the way. Slippy comes up with a new invention called the 'Maggie-Saver' as they make their way to a rusty-orange coloured asteroid. Neither high speed asteroids nor the gravitational pull of Mars will stop the friends from saving Maggie! Then, After hurting her leg, Ella has to take it easy for an entire day. When she quickly runs out of activities at home, Ella's dad offers to take her along on one of his towing operations. As it happens, his work is right next to Ceres, where Slippy, Madhu and Glitch are set up to watch an ice volcano eruption. Dad agrees to let her stay with them. Ella becomes restless when the volcano doesn't erupt on schedule, so they head off in search of more active volcanoes. Who knew taking it easy could be so adventurous?

When Reporter Read's notebook with the word SERIOUS emblazoned on the front goes missing, so does the word serious. Now nobody in Wordsville can take anything seriously. Word Detectives Gabby and Sly call Baker Graham and Artist Clay to solve this Word Mystery and put a stop to all the silliness.

Riley is challenged to get the band acting as a cohesive team when Alex develops a love of loooong drum solos. Meanwhile Kaboom is bringing all of Greenville under his control with his latest invention - hypnotizing glasses called "Idolizers" that make people see him as a genius. Megablast transforms into Rocket, Thunder and Metallix to save the town and Metallix makes the mistake of thinking he can handle Kaboom solo which backfires big time and leads to Rocket, Thunder and Trix falling under Kaboom's control. Metallix sees just how important being a cohesive team is and Rocket comes up with the perfect solution save the day. Then, Megablast writes an awesome new dance song called "The Megablast Dance". Beatrix uploads a video of her dancing to it. Soon everyone in town is seeing it online and dancing to the video which Starlet is horrified to discover is now more popular than her on the internet. Starlet will do everything in her power to end Megablast's popularity surge, even if it means destroying the internet!

While listening to the story, the kids learn a lot about Tewa culture, which is a part of Esther's family history. Inspired, they decide that's what they should do when Abuela comes to visit - ask her to tell stories -- because stories can connect us to our family histories.

Wiingashk is an 11-year-old boy from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. He's Ojibwe. Wiingashk loves to hang out with his father and together they practice archery on their home-made targets. They also go hunting together in the bush and Wiingashk shows us some moose, bear and deer photos taken by their trap cameras. He explains that when you catch your first animal, it's important to share the meat with other members of the community. Wiingashk's special word is ,adik, which means ,elk, in Ojibwe. Wiingashk has a service dog, Loki, that helps him at night and alerts him to his seizures. Loki is an important friend and a member of the family. With his cousin, Eddy, Wiingashk loves to ride BMX bikes at the local skate park and he's a pretty good soccer player too! When the weather is good, Wiingashk and his Dad throw on their wetsuits and go snorkeling in the river to look for lost fishing lures and to check out the underwater life. In his bedroom, Wiingashk shows us his beehive, which has traditional medicinal properties. He believes the beehive helps push away illness. Luckily, there are no bees inside! Wiingashk is a featured dancer at the Sault Ste. Marie Indigenous Day celebration and he performs the Fancy Bustle dance with great pride.

They wrangle some Chillipedes and hitch a ride on top of them, racing the Chillipedes like Roman Chariots and quickly storm ahead of Ginger. Ginger can play by the no rules rule too. She scores a lift on a friendly Coconutdon, storming past them. Coconutdons are extremely fast runners and can leap long distances. The Pea-Rexes catch a ride with their friend the baby BokChoydactyl and start to gain on Ginger. The friends are neck and neck as they approach the finish line. Ginger and the Pea-Rexes are launched into the waterhole and land at the same time, making it a draw!

JoJo and Gran Gran have a barbecue with their extended family - including Mummy, Daddy, Great Gran Gran, Auntie Dee, Uncle Tyrell and Cousin Lexi. JoJo and Lexi prepare a dance, but Lexi's portable speaker runs out of battery, so they dance to an old school song on Gran Gran's record player instead.

BOOK: Purple Monster One likes red, Monster Two likes blue. But when some red paint falls into the blue can they mix it up, so it turns purple, which they both like.
