8 year old Ella, who has curly black hair, runs down a staircase with a toy rocket ship. She wears a teal space suit, and a helmet with animal ears.
[Giggling]
Ella runs into a living room and gives her little sister, Tilly, the rocket ship.
[Upbeat music plays]
A singer sings, COME WITH ME, TO THE STARS.
Ella’s mom picks up Ella’s little sister and smiles as Ella runs outside. Outside the house, in outer space, Ella runs past her dad.
The singer sings, THE GALAXY IS OURS!
Ella waves to her dad and jumps onto her moon scooter, a circular spacecraft, and takes off.
People say, LET'S GO!
The singer sings, LOOK AT ALL THE WONDER.
INTER-STELLAR.
Ella flies over a planet with Madhu, a blue and green alien, and Slippy, a boy with black hair who flies a red spacecraft.
The signer sings, LOOK UP SO MUCH SPLENDOUR.

Ella flies on Madhu.
The singer sings, LOOK OUT FOR ADVENTURE.
Ella and Slippy explore a planet together with Maggie, a blue star. Elsewhere in space, Slippy and Madhu look startled. They dodge Ella and her moon scooter.

Ella and her family sit on a spacecraft.

Two small cars race on a curve.
Ella says, THIS OIL SPILL IS

Tilly says, THE RYDER SISTERS!
The yellow car hits a bump and flips over..
Ella says, OH, NO! CLEANUP CAR DOWN.
Tilly says, NO PROBLEM.
I GOT THIS BIG SIS.
The purple car, with a small sponge attached to the front, zooms forward. The car is driven over tire marks
Tilly cheers, WOOHOO!
The car cleans up the tire marks with the sponge. The cars are on the ceiling of the Ryder family home.
Ella says, I KNEW WE COULD GET THOSE TIRE
MARKS OFF THE CEILING!
Mom says, TURNING YOUR RACECARS
INTO CLEANING CARS WAS GENIUS.
Tilly says, EW, SOMETHING SMELLS.
She plugs her nose. Mom looks up from her crystals at the kitchen island.
She says, OH, NO. DAD'S EGGPLANT.
Smoke billows from a grill.
[Dad yelling]
Dad says, MY EGGPLANT!
IT’S… BURNT!
Mom says, IS IT BURNT,
OR DID YOU JUST
INVENT A FANCY NEW DISH,
EGGPLANT FLAMBÉ!
Together, Ella and Tilly say, IT'S BURNT.
Dad looks disappointed.
Mom says, I'LL GO GET MORE EGGPLANT.
I'VE BEEN STARING AT CRYSTALS
ALL DAY.
I NEED A BREAK.
Dad walks through the house with his grill.
He says, THANKS.
THAT'LL GIVE ME TIME TO LOOK
IN THE SHED FOR THE GRILL RACK.
IT WILL NOT BE EASY.
GIRLS....
He turns to Ella and Tilly.
He says, IF I DON'T RETURN
FROM THIS MISSION.
CALL IN A SEARCH PARTY.
[Ella and Tilly laughing]
Mom and Dad leave. Ella turns to Tilly.
She asks, ARE YOU READY TO GO WHERE
NO SPONGE
CAR HAS GONE BEFORE?
Tilly imitates an explosion.
Ella says, THE GREAT
FRUIT PUMCH STAIN, EXPLOSION!
A pink stain is on the ceiling.
[Upbeat music plays]
Ella drives her race to the fruit punch stain. The sponge on the race car starts to clean up the large mess.
Ella says, WE'RE
GOING TO NEED A BIGGER SPONGE.
Tilly says, I'LL DO IT!
She drives her race car.
Ella says, NO, I'LL HANDLE IT.
She backs her race car up through the mess.
Ella says, WAIT TILLY!
WE'RE GONNA....
The sisters race cars bump into each other and fall off the ceiling.
[Dramatic music plays]
The race cars fall onto Mom’s science equipment. They smash a blue crystal.
[Gasping]
Ella says, OH, NO.
Tilly says, UH OH.
Ella says, ALL OF MOM'S HARD WORK
DESTROYED!
The sisters look worried. Ella runs up to the kitchen.
She says, NO! MOM'S EXPERIMENT
IS RUINED.
Maggie appears from Ella’s watch.
Maggie says, I PROCESS TWO CRASH SOUND WAVES.
IS EVERYTHING ALL RIGHT?
[Ella sighing]
Ella says, WE HAVE TO FIX THIS.
She picks up a test tube.
She says, DIAMOND CRYSTALS?
WHERE DO YOU FIND THOSE?
Tilly asks, THE DIAMOND CRYSTAL STORE?
Maggie says, NO, A DIAMOND CRYSTAL PLANET.
THE SUPER HOT TEMPERATURE
AND HIGH PRESSURE
IS WHAT MAKES THE DIAMONDS,
HOWEVER,
IT'S ALSO WHAT MAKES THE PLANET
VERY DANGEROUS.
Tilly says, COOL!
LET'S GO!
She looks excited. She runs toward the door.
Ella says, NO, YOU COULD GET HURT, TILLY.
Tilly stops.
Ella continues, LIKE MAGGIE
SAID, IT'S DANGEROUS.
Tilly says, AWW!
WHY! NO FAIR!
She sits on the floor.
She says, PLEASE.
PLEEEEASE.
Ella slides a box into her moon scooter’s storage compartment. Tilly hangs upside down from the top of the scooter.
She says, PLEASE!
PLEEEEASE,
YOU NEVER TAKE ME
ON SPACE ADVENTURES.
Ella says, BECAUSE!
She lifts Tilly off the moon scooter.
She explains, I'M YOUR BIG SISTER.
AND I REALLY WANT
TO KEEP YOU SAFE.
Tilly says, WHAT IF I PINKY PROMISE
NOT TO GET HURT?
PLEEEEEASE!
[Ella sighing]
Ella says, OKAY.
YOU CAN COME,
BUT ONLY IF YOU PINKY PROMISE
TO LISTEN TO ME.
Ella and Tilly hook their pinky fingers together. Outside, Ella flies in her moon scooter. Tilly flies in a hover pod.
Ella says, HI, DAD.
WE'RE GETTING SOMETHING
FOR MOM BY DAD.
Dad walks out of the shed.
He says, I'M OKAY!
ALSO OKAY.
He waves to Ella and Tilly as they fly away.
He says, COMBUBBLE IF YOU NEED ME!
Maggie flies between the two sisters.
Tilly says, THAT'S THE DIAMOND?
The sisters fly toward a large, lumpy, pink planet.
Tilly says, IT'S JUST A BIG BALL OF ICE.
Maggie says, THE OUTSIDE IS A CRUST OF FROZEN
HYDROCARBONS.
BIG BALL OF ICE.
BUT THE INSIDE IS
DIAMOND.
Ella says, MAGGIE,
I THOUGHT YOU SAID THE SPACE
ADVENTURE WOULD BE DANGEROUS.
A pink ray slices toward the sisters.
Maggie says, ALERT, DUCK NOW.
The sisters duck and the ray passes over them.
Ella asks, WHAT WAS THAT?
Maggie says, THEY ARE GAMMA RAYS.
Tilly says, A GRANDMA RAY? CAN WE SAY HI?
Maggie says, I WOULDN'T.
GAMMA RAYS ARE BURSTS OF VERY
HIGH ENERGY THAT ARE NOT SAFE.
Ella says, YIKES. LET'S SKIP
THE HI'S THEN.
STAY HERE
PLEASE TILLS.
She flies toward the crystal planet. Maggie and Tilly stay behind.
[Dramatic, upbeat music plays]
Ella looks focused as she dodges the gamma rays on her moon scooter.
Maggie says, ELLA.
THIS COURSE OF ACTION
IS NOT ADVISABLE.
Ella looks determined.
She says, BUT I NEED TO GET
MOM NEW CRYSTALS.
Tilly yells, LOOK OUT ELLA!
Ella’s eyes widen.
She says, HUH?
A gamma ray glides toward her.
Ella says, UH,
In slow motion, Ella slides underneath the gamma ray.
She yells, WOAH!
Ella looks nervous. She flies back to Tilly and Maggie.
Maggie says, THAT WAS CLOSE, TOO CLOSE.
PULSARS ARE NOT PLAYTHINGS.
Ella asks, THEN HOW DO WE GET MORE
AND MORE DIAMOND CRYSTALS?
Tilly says, GO TO A DIFFERENT
DIAMOND PLANET.
Ella says, THERE CAN'T BE TWO
DIAMOND PLANETS.
Maggie says, YOU'RE RIGHT.
THERE ARE NOT TWO.
THERE ARE AT LEAST 100.
Ella says, REALLY?
LET'S GO THEN.
She and Tilly follow Maggie away from the pink diamond planet.
[Cheerful music plays]
Elsewhere in the galaxy, Ella furrows her brow.
She asks, IS THERE ANYTHING DANGEROUS
ABOUT THE NEXT ONE?
Maggie says, YES, IT IS EXTREMELY HOT.
Tilly says, COOL!
Maggie says, ONLY IF YOU THINK
2,300 DEGREES IS “COOL”.
IT'LL BE HARD TO GET
THE DIAMONDS OFF THE PLANET
BECAUSE OF THE HEAT.
Tilly says, I CAN HELP.
Ella says, THANKS, TILLY, BUT I THINK
I’LL ASK SLIPPY AND
MADHU TOO, JUST IN CASE.
She opens a combubble with Slippy and Madhu.
[Cheering and giggling]
Ella asks, CAN YOU COME HELP US
MINE DIAMONDS?
[Madhu giggling]
Ella says, WAIT, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
[Slippy cheering]
Madhu says, WE’RE JUMPING!
ON MOON POGO STICKS!
[Slippy laughing]
Madhu says, THEY GO SO HIGH!
[Slippy giggling]
Ella says, OKAY,
BUT BRING YOUR
TOOLS AND YOUR SUNGLASSES.
Glitch flies between Slippy and Madhu. The tiny robot passes Slippy a pair of sunglasses.
Slippy says, LET’S BOUNCE!
Glitch puts on sunglasses.
[Glitch squeaking]
The combubble pops.
[Funky music plays]
Ella flies through space wearing sunglasses. Maggie hovers beside her. Tilly flies in her hover pod beside Ella wearing matching sunglasses. Slippy arrives beside Ella in his space racer. He slides on his sunglasses. Madhu flies over the group also wearing sunglasses.
The group hovers a short distance away from a fiery planet.
One of the friends says, WHOA!
Madhu asks, IS IT HOT OUT HERE
OR IS IT ME?
Then fan themselves.
Maggie says, IT IS NOT YOU.
THIS SIDE OF THE PLANET
FACES ITS STAR
AND IS HOT ENOUGH TO MELT IRON.
IT IS 2,300 DEGREES CELSIUS.
Ella asks, IS THE OTHER SIDE COLDER?
Maggie says, YES. MUCH.
IT IS ONLY 1,372 DEGREES.
Slippy says, NOW I GET WHY WE NEEDED
SUNGLASSES.
He looks at his black sunglasses.
Maggie says, ACTUALLY, WHAT YOU NEED
MOST ARE THE PROTECTIVE SUITS
YOU'RE WEARING.
THEY'RE MELTING.
POINT IS 1,500 DEGREES.
Madhu says, MY MELTING POINT IS RIGHT NOW.
CAN WE MAKE THIS FAST?
Slippy says, DON'T WORRY.
I BROUGHT MY SUPER STRETCHER
4000.
He holds out his invention and flips a switch.
He says, SMALL THINGS CAN DO BIG THINGS.
A metal arm extends from Slippy’s Super Stretcher 4000 and releases a circular blade.
Tilly says, JUST LIKE ME!
I'M SMALL AND I
CAN DO BIG THINGS!
Ella says, SORRY TILLS, NOT THIS TIME.
She taps Tilly’s nose. Tilly looks annoyed.
Ella says, YOU STAY SAFE AND COOL UP HERE
WITH MADHU.
Tilly looks disappointed.
She says, HMPH!
She crosses her arms and glares at her sister.
[Gentle music plays]
On the hot diamond planet, blue crystals shine amongst the bright lava. Ella and Slippy hover high above the surface.
Ella says, IT'S SUPER HOT.
WHAT'S MY SUIT TEMPERATURE SAY?
Maggie appears from Ella’s watch.
She says, 1,290.
THAT IS MORE THAN SUPER HOT.
THAT IS DANGEROUSLY HOT.
Ella says, WE JUST
NEED TO GET A BIT CLOSER.
Slippy looks worried. He smiles and pulls out his Super Stretcher 4000. The metal arm extends toward the planet’s surface.
[Gears whirring]
Slippy says, OKAY.
SLOWLY, SLOWLY.
The circular blade breaks off.
Slippy says, WHOA!
IT'S HOT ENOUGH TO MELT METAL!
He looks worried.
He says, WE MAY HAVE A PROBLEM.
Maggie says, TEMPERATURE OVERLOAD!
ABANDON MISSION!
Slippy and Ella follow Maggie off the planet. They return to Tilly and Madhu.
Ella says, SO THE FIRST PLANET
HAD A GALACTIC LASER GUARDIAN.
AND THIS ONE’S SUPER HOT.
HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO
GET MOM MORE CRYSTALS?
Madhu asks, CAN WE VISIT
A DIFFERENT COOLER
DIAMOND PLANET FRIEND?
Maggie says, CHECKING.
Maggie spins.
She says, NO.
THE OTHERS ARE MUCH
TOO FAR AWAY.
Ella looks disappointed.
Slippy says, COME ON, ELLA.
WE CAN DO THIS.
He looks determined.
He says, WE NEED A WAY TO GET CLOSE
TO THIS ONE.
RACE IN AND RACE OUT QUICKLY.
[Motivational music plays]
Tilly says, RACE? WE CAN USE OUR
RACECARS!
Ella says, YOU'RE RIGHT!
IF WE HAD THEM.
BUT WHO PACKS RACE CARS
FOR A MISSION?
Tilly pulls her race car out of her hover pod.
She says, I DO!
[Upbeat music plays]
On the hot diamond planet, Tilly’s race car zooms across the surface.
Slippy says, OH, I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING
WON’T THE CAR MELT?
Maggie says, THAT DEPENDS ON WHAT
IT IS MADE OF.
Slippy asks, TITANIUM?
Maggie says, PERFECT.
TITANIUM
HAS A MELTING POINT OF 1,668.
SO IT WILL WORK.
BUT ONLY FOR A VERY SHORT TIME.
Tilly’s race car speeds across the planet with the blade from Slippy’s Super Stretcher.
Slippy says, WAY TO GO, TILLY!
Ella says, THE BEST DRIVER I KNOW.
A screen shows a view from Tilly’s race car.
Tilly says, SMALL THINGS CAN DO BIG THINGS!
On the planet, the car reaches a crystal.
[Anticipatory music plays]
Slippy says, JUST A FEW MORE SECONDS.
Tilly steers her race car up a rock. She cuts into the crystal with the circular blade.
Maggie says, THE RACE CAR MAY NOT HAVE
A FEW MORE SECONDS.
Tilly finishes cutting the crystal as the rock under her race car breaks off and fall onto lava. The Super Stretcher blade sinks into the lava. In slow motion, the crystal also falls. It bounces off a rock in the lava. Tilly drives off her car’s rock, using it like a ramp, and into the air. She catches the crystal with a claw on her race car and skips the car across other racks in the lava back onto solid ground.
Ella cheers, GO TILLY!
Tilly steers her race car up a large rock and off the planet.
Madhu cheers, YEAH!
[Slippy giggling]
Madhu says, YOU DID IT!
Madhu hugs Ella and Tilly.
Madhu says, TILLY,
YOU ARE SUCH A GOOD DRIVER.
[Ella and Tilly giggling]
Slippy says, THE CAR'S A LITTLE SCRATCHED
UP, THOUGH.
Tilly says, I'M REALLY GOOD AT
SCRATCHING STUFF.
[Ella laughing]
Ella says, SCRATCHING STUFF,
SPILLING STUFF.
Tilly says, HEY!
She crosses her arms. Ella hops on her moon scooter.
She says, COME ON, LET'S
GET THESE CRYSTALS
BACK TO MOM.
She flies away from the planet with Tilly and her friends. Back home, Mom walks into the house with a large paper bag.
She says, HI, GIRLS
WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
Ella and Tilly turn away from the kitchen island. They look nervous. The sisters speak at the same time.
Tilly says, NOTHING!
Ella says, WE RUINED YOUR CRYSTAL
EXPERIMENT.
Tilly says, BEEN HERE THE
WHOLE TIME
Ella says, SO, WE WENT AND GOT YOU MORE.
The sisters glance at each other.
Together, they say, WHAT SHE SAID.
Ella steps aside, revealing the diamond crystal on the island.
Mom says, BUT THOSE CRYSTALS
WERE FROM A DIAMOND PLANET.
YOU WENT TO A DIAMOND PLANET
ALONE?
Ella looks guilty. Tilly looks excited.
She says, TWO DIAMOND PLANETS ALONE!
Ella says, NOT ALONE.
WE HAD MAGGIE AND THE OTHERS.
AND THE MISSION WOULD HAVE
TOTALLY FAILED WITHOUT TILLY.
Mom says, I REALLY APPRECIATE IT.
She puts down the bag.
She says, BUT NEXT TIME, I WANT YOU
TO TELL ME SO I CAN GO WITH YOU.
OKAY?
[Sighing]
Ella says, OKAY.
Dad walks in with a grill rack.
He says, YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE
THE JOURNEY.
I JUST WENT ON TO FIND THIS.
Mom says, OH, I THINK
THEY HAVE SOME IDEA.
She glances at Ella.
Dad says, SO...
WHAT HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN UP TO
WHILE I WAS OUT IN THE SHED?
PLAYING AROUND WITH YOUR
TOY CARS.
Ella says, YOU COULD SAY THAT.
[Ella and Tilly laughing]
Dad looks confused. He smiles.
[Dad chuckling]

Ella slides a box into her moon scooter’s storage compartment. Tilly hangs upside down from the top of the scooter.
She says, PLEASE!
PLEEEEASE,
YOU NEVER TAKE ME
ON SPACE ADVENTURES.
Ella says, BECAUSE!
She lifts Tilly off the moon scooter.
She explains, I'M YOUR BIG SISTER.
AND I REALLY WANT
TO KEEP YOU SAFE.
Tilly says, WHAT IF I PINKY PROMISE
NOT TO GET HURT?
PLEEEEEASE!
[Ella sighing]
Ella says, OKAY.
YOU CAN COME,
BUT ONLY IF YOU PINKY PROMISE
TO LISTEN TO ME.
Ella and Tilly hook their pinky fingers together. Outside, Ella flies in her moon scooter. Tilly flies in a hover pod.
Ella says, HI, DAD.
WE'RE GETTING SOMETHING
FOR MOM BY DAD.
Dad walks out of the shed.
He says, I'M OKAY!
ALSO OKAY.
He waves to Ella and Tilly as they fly away.
He says, COMBUBBLE IF YOU NEED ME!
Maggie flies between the two sisters.
Tilly says, THAT'S THE DIAMOND?
The sisters fly toward a large, lumpy, pink planet.
Tilly says, IT'S JUST A BIG BALL OF ICE.
Maggie says, THE OUTSIDE IS A CRUST OF FROZEN
HYDROCARBONS.
BIG BALL OF ICE.
BUT THE INSIDE IS
DIAMOND.
Ella says, MAGGIE,
I THOUGHT YOU SAID THE SPACE
ADVENTURE WOULD BE DANGEROUS.
A pink ray slices toward the sisters.
Maggie says, ALERT, DUCK NOW.
The sisters duck and the ray passes over them.
Ella asks, WHAT WAS THAT?
Maggie says, THEY ARE GAMMA RAYS.
Tilly says, A GRANDMA RAY? CAN WE SAY HI?
Maggie says, I WOULDN'T.
GAMMA RAYS ARE BURSTS OF VERY
HIGH ENERGY THAT ARE NOT SAFE.
Ella says, YIKES. LET'S SKIP
THE HI'S THEN.
STAY HERE
PLEASE TILLS.
She flies toward the crystal planet. Maggie and Tilly stay behind.
[Dramatic, upbeat music plays]
Ella looks focused as she dodges the gamma rays on her moon scooter.
Maggie says, ELLA.
THIS COURSE OF ACTION
IS NOT ADVISABLE.
Ella looks determined.
She says, BUT I NEED TO GET
MOM NEW CRYSTALS.
Tilly yells, LOOK OUT ELLA!
Ella’s eyes widen.
She says, HUH?
A gamma ray glides toward her.
Ella says, UH,
In slow motion, Ella slides underneath the gamma ray.
She yells, WOAH!
Ella looks nervous. She flies back to Tilly and Maggie.
Maggie says, THAT WAS CLOSE, TOO CLOSE.
PULSARS ARE NOT PLAYTHINGS.
Ella asks, THEN HOW DO WE GET MORE
AND MORE DIAMOND CRYSTALS?
Tilly says, GO TO A DIFFERENT
DIAMOND PLANET.
Ella says, THERE CAN'T BE TWO
DIAMOND PLANETS.
Maggie says, YOU'RE RIGHT.
THERE ARE NOT TWO.
THERE ARE AT LEAST 100.
Ella says, REALLY?
LET'S GO THEN.
She and Tilly follow Maggie away from the pink diamond planet.
[Cheerful music plays]
Elsewhere in the galaxy, Ella furrows her brow.
She asks, IS THERE ANYTHING DANGEROUS
ABOUT THE NEXT ONE?
Maggie says, YES, IT IS EXTREMELY HOT.
Tilly says, COOL!
Maggie says, ONLY IF YOU THINK
2,300 DEGREES IS “COOL”.
IT'LL BE HARD TO GET
THE DIAMONDS OFF THE PLANET
BECAUSE OF THE HEAT.
Tilly says, I CAN HELP.
Ella says, THANKS, TILLY, BUT I THINK
I’LL ASK SLIPPY AND
MADHU TOO, JUST IN CASE.
She opens a combubble with Slippy and Madhu.
[Cheering and giggling]
Ella asks, CAN YOU COME HELP US
MINE DIAMONDS?
[Madhu giggling]
Ella says, WAIT, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
[Slippy cheering]
Madhu says, WE’RE JUMPING!
ON MOON POGO STICKS!
[Slippy laughing]
Madhu says, THEY GO SO HIGH!
[Slippy giggling]
Ella says, OKAY,
BUT BRING YOUR
TOOLS AND YOUR SUNGLASSES.
Glitch flies between Slippy and Madhu. The tiny robot passes Slippy a pair of sunglasses.
Slippy says, LET’S BOUNCE!
Glitch puts on sunglasses.
[Glitch squeaking]
The combubble pops.
[Funky music plays]
Ella flies through space wearing sunglasses. Maggie hovers beside her. Tilly flies in her hover pod beside Ella wearing matching sunglasses. Slippy arrives beside Ella in his space racer. He slides on his sunglasses. Madhu flies over the group also wearing sunglasses.
The group hovers a short distance away from a fiery planet.
One of the friends says, WHOA!
Madhu asks, IS IT HOT OUT HERE
OR IS IT ME?
Then fan themselves.
Maggie says, IT IS NOT YOU.
THIS SIDE OF THE PLANET
FACES ITS STAR
AND IS HOT ENOUGH TO MELT IRON.
IT IS 2,300 DEGREES CELSIUS.
Ella asks, IS THE OTHER SIDE COLDER?
Maggie says, YES. MUCH.
IT IS ONLY 1,372 DEGREES.
Slippy says, NOW I GET WHY WE NEEDED
SUNGLASSES.
He looks at his black sunglasses.
Maggie says, ACTUALLY, WHAT YOU NEED
MOST ARE THE PROTECTIVE SUITS
YOU'RE WEARING.
THEY'RE MELTING.
POINT IS 1,500 DEGREES.
Madhu says, MY MELTING POINT IS RIGHT NOW.
CAN WE MAKE THIS FAST?
Slippy says, DON'T WORRY.
I BROUGHT MY SUPER STRETCHER
4000.
He holds out his invention and flips a switch.
He says, SMALL THINGS CAN DO BIG THINGS.
A metal arm extends from Slippy’s Super Stretcher 4000 and releases a circular blade.
Tilly says, JUST LIKE ME!
I'M SMALL AND I
CAN DO BIG THINGS!
Ella says, SORRY TILLS, NOT THIS TIME.
She taps Tilly’s nose. Tilly looks annoyed.
Ella says, YOU STAY SAFE AND COOL UP HERE
WITH MADHU.
Tilly looks disappointed.
She says, HMPH!
She crosses her arms and glares at her sister.
[Gentle music plays]
On the hot diamond planet, blue crystals shine amongst the bright lava. Ella and Slippy hover high above the surface.
Ella says, IT'S SUPER HOT.
WHAT'S MY SUIT TEMPERATURE SAY?
Maggie appears from Ella’s watch.
She says, 1,290.
THAT IS MORE THAN SUPER HOT.
THAT IS DANGEROUSLY HOT.
Ella says, WE JUST
NEED TO GET A BIT CLOSER.
Slippy looks worried. He smiles and pulls out his Super Stretcher 4000. The metal arm extends toward the planet’s surface.
[Gears whirring]
Slippy says, OKAY.
SLOWLY, SLOWLY.
The circular blade breaks off.
Slippy says, WHOA!
IT'S HOT ENOUGH TO MELT METAL!
He looks worried.
He says, WE MAY HAVE A PROBLEM.
Maggie says, TEMPERATURE OVERLOAD!
ABANDON MISSION!
Slippy and Ella follow Maggie off the planet. They return to Tilly and Madhu.
Ella says, SO THE FIRST PLANET
HAD A GALACTIC LASER GUARDIAN.
AND THIS ONE’S SUPER HOT.
HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO
GET MOM MORE CRYSTALS?
Madhu asks, CAN WE VISIT
A DIFFERENT COOLER
DIAMOND PLANET FRIEND?
Maggie says, CHECKING.
Maggie spins.
She says, NO.
THE OTHERS ARE MUCH
TOO FAR AWAY.
Ella looks disappointed.
Slippy says, COME ON, ELLA.
WE CAN DO THIS.
He looks determined.
He says, WE NEED A WAY TO GET CLOSE
TO THIS ONE.
RACE IN AND RACE OUT QUICKLY.
[Motivational music plays]
Tilly says, RACE? WE CAN USE OUR
RACECARS!
Ella says, YOU'RE RIGHT!
IF WE HAD THEM.
BUT WHO PACKS RACE CARS
FOR A MISSION?
Tilly pulls her race car out of her hover pod.
She says, I DO!
[Upbeat music plays]
On the hot diamond planet, Tilly’s race car zooms across the surface.
Slippy says, OH, I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING
WON’T THE CAR MELT?
Maggie says, THAT DEPENDS ON WHAT
IT IS MADE OF.
Slippy asks, TITANIUM?
Maggie says, PERFECT.
TITANIUM
HAS A MELTING POINT OF 1,668.
SO IT WILL WORK.
BUT ONLY FOR A VERY SHORT TIME.
Tilly’s race car speeds across the planet with the blade from Slippy’s Super Stretcher.
Slippy says, WAY TO GO, TILLY!
Ella says, THE BEST DRIVER I KNOW.
A screen shows a view from Tilly’s race car.
Tilly says, SMALL THINGS CAN DO BIG THINGS!
On the planet, the car reaches a crystal.
[Anticipatory music plays]
Slippy says, JUST A FEW MORE SECONDS.
Tilly steers her race car up a rock. She cuts into the crystal with the circular blade.
Maggie says, THE RACE CAR MAY NOT HAVE
A FEW MORE SECONDS.
Tilly finishes cutting the crystal as the rock under her race car breaks off and fall onto lava. The Super Stretcher blade sinks into the lava. In slow motion, the crystal also falls. It bounces off a rock in the lava. Tilly drives off her car’s rock, using it like a ramp, and into the air. She catches the crystal with a claw on her race car and skips the car across other racks in the lava back onto solid ground.
Ella cheers, GO TILLY!
Tilly steers her race car up a large rock and off the planet.
Madhu cheers, YEAH!
[Slippy giggling]
Madhu says, YOU DID IT!
Madhu hugs Ella and Tilly.
Madhu says, TILLY,
YOU ARE SUCH A GOOD DRIVER.
[Ella and Tilly giggling]
Slippy says, THE CAR'S A LITTLE SCRATCHED
UP, THOUGH.
Tilly says, I'M REALLY GOOD AT
SCRATCHING STUFF.
[Ella laughing]
Ella says, SCRATCHING STUFF,
SPILLING STUFF.
Tilly says, HEY!
She crosses her arms. Ella hops on her moon scooter.
She says, COME ON, LET'S
GET THESE CRYSTALS
BACK TO MOM.
She flies away from the planet with Tilly and her friends. Back home, Mom walks into the house with a large paper bag.
She says, HI, GIRLS
WHAT ARE YOU DOING?
Ella and Tilly turn away from the kitchen island. They look nervous. The sisters speak at the same time.
Tilly says, NOTHING!
Ella says, WE RUINED YOUR CRYSTAL
EXPERIMENT.
Tilly says, BEEN HERE THE
WHOLE TIME
Ella says, SO, WE WENT AND GOT YOU MORE.
The sisters glance at each other.
Together, they say, WHAT SHE SAID.
Ella steps aside, revealing the diamond crystal on the island.
Mom says, BUT THOSE CRYSTALS
WERE FROM A DIAMOND PLANET.
YOU WENT TO A DIAMOND PLANET
ALONE?
Ella looks guilty. Tilly looks excited.
She says, TWO DIAMOND PLANETS ALONE!
Ella says, NOT ALONE.
WE HAD MAGGIE AND THE OTHERS.
AND THE MISSION WOULD HAVE
TOTALLY FAILED WITHOUT TILLY.
Mom says, I REALLY APPRECIATE IT.
She puts down the bag.
She says, BUT NEXT TIME, I WANT YOU
TO TELL ME SO I CAN GO WITH YOU.
OKAY?
[Sighing]
Ella says, OKAY.
Dad walks in with a grill rack.
He says, YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE
THE JOURNEY.
I JUST WENT ON TO FIND THIS.
Mom says, OH, I THINK
THEY HAVE SOME IDEA.
She glances at Ella.
Dad says, SO...
WHAT HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN UP TO
WHILE I WAS OUT IN THE SHED?
PLAYING AROUND WITH YOUR
TOY CARS.
Ella says, YOU COULD SAY THAT.
[Ella and Tilly laughing]
Dad looks confused. He smiles.
[Dad chuckling]
