At home, 8-year-old Ella, who has curly, dark brown hair, runs down a staircase with a toy rocket ship. She wears a teal space suit and a helmet with animal ears.
[Giggling]
Ella runs into the living room and gives her little sister, Tilly, the rocket ship.
[Upbeat music plays]
A singer sings, COME WITH ME, TO THE STARS.
Ella’s mom picks up Tilly and smiles. Ella runs outside and past her dad.
The singer sings, THE GALAXY IS OURS!
Ella waves to her dad.
She says, BYE DAD!
Ella jumps onto her moon scooter, a circular spacecraft, and takes off.
People say, LET'S GO!
The singer sings, LOOK AT ALL THE WONDER.
INTER-STELLAR.
Ella flies over a planet with Madhu, a blue and green alien, Slippy, a black-haired boy who flies a red spacecraft and Glitch, Slippy’s small robot.
The signer sings, LOOK UP SO MUCH SPLENDOUR.

Ella flies on Madhu.
The singer sings, LOOK OUT FOR ADVENTURE.
Ella and Slippy explore a planet with Maggie, Ella’s smart bracelet A.I. star. Elsewhere in space, Slippy and Madhu look startled.
They say, WOAH!
They serve away from Ella and her moon scooter.
The singer sings, COME EXPLORE THE MILKY WAY!
Ella and her family sit on a spacecraft.

[Glitch beeping]
In an asteroid field, a homemade finish line hangs between two asteroids. Slippy sneaks from one asteroid to another on his space racer toward Gem and Ilo’s robot, F-11, which stands on an asteroid with a blue flag.
[F-11 beeping]
Slippy speeds behind another asteroid. On an asteroid with a red flag, Glitch scans the field. Gem peaks out from behind an asteroid nearby on her and Ilo’s space scooter.
[Glitch beeping]
Slippy appears in a Com Bubble beside Glitch.
Slippy warns, BE CAREFUL, PAL.
IF GEM GETS HER FLAG,
SHE'LL WIN!
The Com Bubble pops.
[Popping]
[Glitch beeping]
Glitch shakes his head.
[Intense music plays]
Gem sneaks behind an asteroid.
She says, THINK AGAIN,
SLIPPY.
[Engine rumbling]
A lightning bolt on Gem’s helmet glows.
Gem says, LIGHTNING
GEM IS ABOUT TO STRIKE.
From nearby, Ilo says, AND LIGHTNING ILO TOO.
Gem looks over her shoulder at Ilo hovering behind their scooter.
Gem demands, WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?
Ilo says, HELPING YOU.
Gem says, I TOLD YOU I WAS HANGING
OUT WITH SLIPPY TODAY.
IT'S MY DAY WITH THE SCOOTER!
Ilo says, IT'S OUR SCOOTER.
BESIDES, WE'RE TWINS.
WE SHOULD DO EVERYTHING
TOGETHER.
Gem groans, UGH!!
She steers the scooter away from Ilo to another asteroid. Ilo flies after her using the thrusters in his boots. Slippy peaks behind an asteroid as Gem and Ilo pass by and look toward F-11.
[Engine rumbling]
[F-11 beeping]
Ilo waves to F-11.
[Upbeat music plays]
Slippy speeds to F-11’s asteroid and grabs the blue flag.
[F-11 beeping]
Slippy says, SEE GLITCH,
I TOLD YOU WE'D WIN
CAPTURE THE FLAG!
[Glitch beeping]
Slippy flies toward the finish line. Ilo follows.
Ilo says, NUH-UH, YOU HAVEN'T WON UNTIL
YOU CROSS THE FINISH LINE!
THE LIGHTNING TWINS ALWAYS WIN!
Gem says, LIGHTNING IS MY THING.
AND I'M GOING TO WIN THIS!
She zooms up to Glitch’s asteroid and grabs the red flag.
[Glitch beeping sadly]
Slippy speeds toward the finish line with Ilo close behind and Gem behind Ilo. Gem looks determined. Ella joins the race to the finish line.
Ella says, HEY, SLIPPY.
HEY, ILO.
GEM, NICE LIGHTNING BOLT!
Slippy ducks under an asteroid. Ilo hits the asteroid and flips backward.
Ilo yelps, WHOA!
Gem zooms past with the red flag. Ilo hurries after her and reaches for the flag.
Gem says, ILO, NO!
GO STOP SLIPPY!
Ilo says, HE'S TOO FAR AWAY!
Slippy races toward the finish line.
Ilo says, BUT I CAN HELP
YOU GET THE FLAG OVER
THE FINISH LINE
SUPER FAST.
He grabs the red flag and tries to pull it away from Gem.
Gem says, LET GO!
YOU'RE NOT EVEN
SUPPOSED TO BE HERE.
Ilo says, I'M HELPING US WIN.
YOU LET GO.
Slippy cheers, YES!
Gem and Ilo turn to the finish line.
Slippy cheers, WE WIN GLITCH!
He crosses the finish line with the blue flag. Ella catches up with Gem and Ilo.
[Glitch beeping in celebration]
Ella says, GREAT JOB, SLIP!
[Gem grumbling]
Ilo says, I'M SORRY WE LOST, BUT AT LEAST
WE'VE GOT THE COOLEST TEAM.
THE LIGHTNING TWINS WILL STRIKE
NEXT TIME!
Gem says, WE'RE NOT THE LIGHTNING TWINS!
I'M LIGHTNING GEM!
UGH!
[Sad music plays]
Gem turns around. She drops the red flag and flies away.
[F-11 beeping sadly]
Ella flies up to Ilo.
Ella says, WE SHOULD
CHECK TO SEE IF SHE'S OKAY.
She follows Gem. Slippy flies up to Ilo. F-11 and Glitch join Slippy and Ilo. Ilo looks sad.
Ilo says, GEM KINDA
OF TOOK OFF ON OUR SCOOTER.
SO CAN WE GET A RIDE?
Slippy says, SURE!
He smiles and throws Ilo a tow rope from his space racer. Glitch sits in front of Slippy. Ilo sits on F-11 and holds onto the rope.
[F-11 beeping]
[Engine whirring]
Slippy leaves with Ilo. Elsewhere in space, Gem sits on an asteroid with her knees against her chest. Ella flies around to face Gem on her moon scooter. Slippy flies up behind Gem.
Ella asks, WHAT'S WRONG, GEM?
Slippy asks, ARE YOU SAD WE BEAT YOU?
WE COULD HAVE A REMATCH.
Gem says, I DON'T WANT TO PLAY ANYMORE.
ESPECIALLY NOT WITH ILO.
Ilo jokingly says, HA-HA, YEAH,
I DON’T WANT TO PLAY
WITH YOU, GEM!
Gem says, I MEAN IT!
She slams her fist on the asteroid.
[Ilo laughing]
Ilo says, AND I MEAN IT TOO.
Gem picks up a small rock and throws it at an asteroid. The rock pushes the asteroid into another one, revealing a puffy, pink and purple planet.
Ella says, WHOA!
WHAT'S THAT?
Maggie appears and says, THAT IS A SUPER PUFF PLANET.
THEY ARE HUGE AND MOSTLY MADE UP
OF SUPER FLUFFY CLOUDS.
DEEP WITHIN THE CLOUDS.
THERE IS A TINY, ROCKY CORE.
Maggie shows a super puff planet cut in half, revealing its tiny core.
Slippy says, WHOA!
IT LOOKS LIKE
COTTON CANDY!
Maggie says, SOME PEOPLE DO
CALL THEM COTTON CANDY PLANETS.
Ella says, OH, THAT SOUNDS DELICIOUS.
Maggie says, NOT REALLY.
THIS PLANET'S CLOUDS ARE MOSTLY
MADE OF LIGHT GASES,
LIKE HYDROGEN AND HELIUM.
THEY ARE EXTREMELY HOT.
Ilo says, THAT DOESN'T SOUND FUN.
WE DON'T WANT TO GO THERE.
Gem says, ACTUALLY,
I THINK IT SOUNDS AWESOME.
She jumps in the scooter she shares with Ilo and cruises toward the super puff planet.
[F-11 beeping]
Ilo frowns. Ella and Slippy follow Gem with Slippy towing Ilo. A sun shines close to the super puff planet.
Slippy says, WHOA.
THIS SUPER-PUFF
PLANET IS SO CLOSE TO ITS SUN!
Ella says, YEAH, IT'S ALREADY REALLY HOT.
She fans herself with her hand.
Maggie explains, BECAUSE IT IS SO CLOSE
TO ITS STAR.
THIS PLANET'S TEMPERATURE
CAN REACH 1,000 DEGREES CELSIUS.
IT'S ONE OF THE HOTTEST PLANETS.
Ilo says, SEE, THERE'S NO WAY
WE'RE GOING IN THERE.
He lets go of the rope on Slippy’s space racer.
Gem says, IF I GO INTO THE SHADOWY
SIDE, IT'LL BE COOLER THERE.
RIGHT?
Maggie says, THAT IS CORRECT.
Gem says, PERFECT.
I'M GOING IN!
She turns toward the super puff planet.
Ella says, WAIT!
WE'LL COME WITH YOU!
MAGGIE,
KEEP MY TEMPERATURE
SENSOR ON.
Maggie transforms into the shape of a thermometer with a high temperature.
Ilo says, UH, WE'LL WAIT RIGHT HERE.
He gently taps F-11.
[F-11 beeping]
Ilo watches Gem, Ella, and Slippy fly into the thick, pink clouds of the super puff planet.
[Upbeat music plays]
Ella and Slippy follow Gem into a cloud tunnel. Gem bounces over turbulence, and Maggie shows the temperature rising.
[Wind gusting]
[Maggie beeping franticly]
Ella yells, WHOA!
IT'S SO WINDY IN HERE.
[Wind gusting]
As a star, Maggie explains, SUPER-PUFF
PLANETS HAVE INTENSE WINDS.
THEY PUSH IN ALL DIRECTIONS UP,
DOWN, LEFT AND RIGHT.
The wind jerks Ella, Slippy and Gem around the tunnel.
Ella, Slippy and Gem all yell, WHOA!
Glitch falls off Slippy’s racer.
Slippy shouts, GLITCH!
[Glitch beeping]
Slippy races after Glitch and grabs his robotic arm.
Ahead, Ella and Gem shout, WHOA!
They fall out of the clouds. Slippy stumbles out behind them. Ilo waves at Ella, Gem and Slippy with a smile. Ella, Slippy and Gem fly over to Ilo.
Ella says, GEM,
THOSE WINDS ARE INTENSE.
Ella looks worried.
Ilo says, GREAT!
YOU'RE BACK!
NOW WE CAN HAVE SNACKS!
He grabs a jar of pickles.
Ilo says, LOOK, TWO PICKLES LEFT,
A PAIR OF TWINS JUST LIKE US.
Gem crosses her arms.
She says, FIRST OF ALL, I HATE PICKLES.
AND SECOND OF ALL,
WE ARE NOT A PAIR.
I'LL PROVE IT.
MAGGIE,
YOU SAID THIS PLANET HAS A CORE.
Maggie says, A SUPER HOT CORE.
IT IS COVERED BY AN ATMOSPHERE
30 TIMES HIGHER THAN EARTH'S.
BECAUSE OF THE STRONG WINDS
AND INTENSE HEAT.
NO ONE HAS EVER GONE DOWN THERE.
[Ilo briefly laughing]
Ilo says, IT SOUNDS BASICALLY IMPOSSIBLE.
Gem says, UNTIL NOW.
I'M GOING
IN.
I'M NOT LIKE ILO.
I'M NOT SCARED.
Gem flies back toward the super puff planet. The others look shocked.
Ella says, WE BETTER STOP HER!
She follows Gem.
Ilo asks, CAN F-11 AND I GET A RIDE?
GEM TOOK OUR SCOOTER.
AGAIN.
SHE KINDA TREATS IT
LIKE IT'S JUST HER SCOOTER.
Ilo shakes his head.
[Glitch beeping]
In the clouds of the super puff planet, Ella, Slippy and Ilo follow Gem into a cloud tunnel. Their space scooters sway with the strong winds.
[Wind gusting]
Gem says, SEE?
I'M LIGHTNING GEM!
Maggie looks worried.
She says, ELLA,
IT IS CURRENTLY
567 DEGREES CELSIUS.
[Maggie beeping]
Maggie says, YOU SHOULD ONLY STAY HERE
FOR A FEW MORE MINUTES.
Gem says, NO WAY!
I'M NOT AT THE CORE YET.
Ella says, IT'LL TAKE DAYS TO GET THERE
WITH THESE WINDS.
WE CAN'T STAY HERE
THAT LONG GEM!
Gem speeds ahead down the tunnel.
Slippy says, GEM, STOP!
[Ella grunting]
Ella says, IF ONLY WE COULD SEE THE WIND.
MAGGIE, CAN YOU SCAN THESE WINDS
AND GIVE ME A WIND MAP
OR SOMETHING?
Maggie says, MARVELOUS IDEA, ELLA.
INDEED I CAN.
[Upbeat music plays]
Arrows appear on the walls of the tunnel.
Maggie explains, THESE ARROWS SHOW
THE DIRECTION OF THE SUPER PUFF
PLANET'S WINDS.
Slippy says, SO IF WE WANT TO CATCH UP
WITH GEM…
Maggie says, YOU JUST
FOLLOW THE ARROWS POINTING DOWN.
PLEASE MAKE IT QUICK
SO WE CAN GET OUT OF HERE!
Ilo asks, WHY IS GEM DOING THIS?
USUALLY
WE DO EVERYTHING TOGETHER.
Ilo looks sad.
Ella says, I THINK THAT'S THE POINT.
Ilo raises an eyebrow.
Ella says, EVEN TWINS NEED SOME TIME APART.
Ilo smiles sheepishly.
Ella adds, SO YOU CAN BE
YOU AND GEM CAN BE GEM.
Ilo smiles, and Ella speeds ahead.
[Wind gusting]
Ella, Slippy and Ilo follow Maggie’s arrows that point forward.
Ella cheers, INTERSTELLAR!
She, Slippy and Ilo catch up with Gem. Slippy pulls up beside Gem and then moves ahead so Ilo is beside her.
Ilo says, YOU'LL NEVER MAKE IT TO
THE CORE.
IT'S A REALLY BAD IDEA, GEM!
I KNOW YOU'RE
LIGHTNING, GEM. OKAY?
AND I KNOW YOU HATE PICKLES AND
YOU AREN'T AFRAID OF ANYTHING.
Gem looks surprised. She stops her and Ilo’s scooter.
Gem says, I KNOW WE'RE TWINS,
BUT I'M ALSO GEM.
WE'RE DIFFERENT PEOPLE.
NOT A MATCH SET.
Floating on F-11, Ilo says, OKAY!
I'M SORRY.
I'LL TURN THE LIGHTNING BOLT
ON MY HELMET INTO A..
UMM...
Gem asks, A DINOSAUR?
Ilo chuckles, NO.
AN ILO-SAUR!
[Ilo chuckling]
Ilo says, YEAH!
[Ella and Slippy laughing]
Ella frowns.
She warns, LOOK OUT!
Maggie’s arrows appear on the walls pointing upward, and a gust of wind flips Slippy and his racer and knocks Ilo and F-11 down the tunnel.
[Slippy yelping]
Slippy yells, GEM, ELLA, HELP!
Ella and Gem share a look. They zoom down the tunnel after Slippy and Ilo.
[Dramatic music plays]
Slippy and Ilo stumble down the cloud tunnel.
[Yelping]
Ella and Gem launch space grapplers toward Slippy and Ilo and narrowly miss.
Ella groans, OH, COME ON!
Maggie says, THE FURTHER DOWN
YOU GET, THE HOTTER IT IS.
YOU MUST GET OUT OF HERE SOON.
Gem looks at arrows on two different tunnels of wind. One tunnel shows straight arrows pointing upward and the other shows arrows in an upward spiral.
Gem says, SLIPPY, FOLLOW
THAT ARROW!
Still sitting on F-11, Ilo grabs Slippy’s tow line rope. Slippy turns out of the straight arrow tunnel and into the spiral tunnel. Slippy and Ilo start to spin.
[Wailing]
The tow line falls off Slippy’s racer and separates Slippy from Ilo. Slippy and Ilo spin toward Gem and Ella.
Gem says, ELLA, NOW!
Ella grabs Slippy with her space grappler. Gem closes one eye and launches her space grappler down the tunnel. She misses Ilo.
Gem says, OH, NO.
ILO!
F-11!
Ella and Slippy follow Gem to the spiral tunnel. In the tunnel, Ilo clings to F-11 as the wind spins them around.
Ilo yells, WOAH!
Ella, Slippy and Gem dive down alongside the tunnel and through a wall of clouds to a tunnel with straight arrows pointing upward.
Ella says, WAIT.
SHOULDN'T THAT
UP ARROW MEAN...
Ilo falls up the wind tunnel.
He yelps, WHOA!
Gem flies up the tunnel. She grabs Ilo’s hand and pulls him and F-11 into the empty seat in her and Ilo’s space scooter.
[F-11 beeping]
Ella and Slippy zoom up the tunnel with Gem and Ilo.
Ilo cheers, WHEE!
Slippy cheers, WHOO-HOO!
HA-HA!
Ella smiles. She, Slippy, Gem and Ilo fly out of the super puff planet clouds.
[Gentle music plays]
At Ella and Slippy’s asteroid clubhouse, Gem and Ilo sit on the couch with F-11 between them. Ilo munches on a pickle.
Ilo says, SO, DO YOU REALLY HATE PICKLES?
[F-11 beeping]
F-11 looks between Ilo and Gem.
Gem says, I REALLY, REALLY DO.
Ilo says, THAT'S OKAY.
I GUESS WE DON’T HAVE
TO BE EXACTLY THE SAME.
Gem says, NO, WE DON'T.
BUT ALWAYS BE TWINS, BRO.
IT'S NOT GOING TO CHANGE.
F-11 pulls Gem and Ilo into a hug.
[F-11 beeping]
Slippy says, SO WHO'S IN FOR
CAPTURE THE FLAG ROUND TWO?
He holds the red and blue flag.
Ella says, THIS TIME
IT'S ME, GEM, AND F-11 AGAINST
SLIPPY, ILO AND GLITCH.
Gem and Ilo look at each other.
Gem says, I'M SO GONNA BEAT YOU ILO-SAUR!
Ilo says, NAH, I'M GOING TO BEAT YOU
LIGHTNING GEM!
Ella says, ALL RIGHT!
THE GAME IS ON!
[Upbeat music plays]
Slippy says, GONNA WIN AGAIN!
Slippy, Gem and Ilo follow Ella off the clubhouse asteroid.

He grabs the red flag and tries to pull it away from Gem.
Gem says, LET GO!
YOU'RE NOT EVEN
SUPPOSED TO BE HERE.
Ilo says, I'M HELPING US WIN.
YOU LET GO.
Slippy cheers, YES!
Gem and Ilo turn to the finish line.
Slippy cheers, WE WIN GLITCH!
He crosses the finish line with the blue flag. Ella catches up with Gem and Ilo.
[Glitch beeping in celebration]
Ella says, GREAT JOB, SLIP!
[Gem grumbling]
Ilo says, I'M SORRY WE LOST, BUT AT LEAST
WE'VE GOT THE COOLEST TEAM.
THE LIGHTNING TWINS WILL STRIKE
NEXT TIME!
Gem says, WE'RE NOT THE LIGHTNING TWINS!
I'M LIGHTNING GEM!
UGH!
[Sad music plays]
Gem turns around. She drops the red flag and flies away.
[F-11 beeping sadly]
Ella flies up to Ilo.
Ella says, WE SHOULD
CHECK TO SEE IF SHE'S OKAY.
She follows Gem. Slippy flies up to Ilo. F-11 and Glitch join Slippy and Ilo. Ilo looks sad.
Ilo says, GEM KINDA
OF TOOK OFF ON OUR SCOOTER.
SO CAN WE GET A RIDE?
Slippy says, SURE!
He smiles and throws Ilo a tow rope from his space racer. Glitch sits in front of Slippy. Ilo sits on F-11 and holds onto the rope.
[F-11 beeping]
[Engine whirring]
Slippy leaves with Ilo. Elsewhere in space, Gem sits on an asteroid with her knees against her chest. Ella flies around to face Gem on her moon scooter. Slippy flies up behind Gem.
Ella asks, WHAT'S WRONG, GEM?
Slippy asks, ARE YOU SAD WE BEAT YOU?
WE COULD HAVE A REMATCH.
Gem says, I DON'T WANT TO PLAY ANYMORE.
ESPECIALLY NOT WITH ILO.
Ilo jokingly says, HA-HA, YEAH,
I DON’T WANT TO PLAY
WITH YOU, GEM!
Gem says, I MEAN IT!
She slams her fist on the asteroid.
[Ilo laughing]
Ilo says, AND I MEAN IT TOO.
Gem picks up a small rock and throws it at an asteroid. The rock pushes the asteroid into another one, revealing a puffy, pink and purple planet.
Ella says, WHOA!
WHAT'S THAT?
Maggie appears and says, THAT IS A SUPER PUFF PLANET.
THEY ARE HUGE AND MOSTLY MADE UP
OF SUPER FLUFFY CLOUDS.
DEEP WITHIN THE CLOUDS.
THERE IS A TINY, ROCKY CORE.
Maggie shows a super puff planet cut in half, revealing its tiny core.
Slippy says, WHOA!
IT LOOKS LIKE
COTTON CANDY!
Maggie says, SOME PEOPLE DO
CALL THEM COTTON CANDY PLANETS.
Ella says, OH, THAT SOUNDS DELICIOUS.
Maggie says, NOT REALLY.
THIS PLANET'S CLOUDS ARE MOSTLY
MADE OF LIGHT GASES,
LIKE HYDROGEN AND HELIUM.
THEY ARE EXTREMELY HOT.
Ilo says, THAT DOESN'T SOUND FUN.
WE DON'T WANT TO GO THERE.
Gem says, ACTUALLY,
I THINK IT SOUNDS AWESOME.
She jumps in the scooter she shares with Ilo and cruises toward the super puff planet.
[F-11 beeping]
Ilo frowns. Ella and Slippy follow Gem with Slippy towing Ilo. A sun shines close to the super puff planet.
Slippy says, WHOA.
THIS SUPER-PUFF
PLANET IS SO CLOSE TO ITS SUN!
Ella says, YEAH, IT'S ALREADY REALLY HOT.
She fans herself with her hand.
Maggie explains, BECAUSE IT IS SO CLOSE
TO ITS STAR.
THIS PLANET'S TEMPERATURE
CAN REACH 1,000 DEGREES CELSIUS.
IT'S ONE OF THE HOTTEST PLANETS.
Ilo says, SEE, THERE'S NO WAY
WE'RE GOING IN THERE.
He lets go of the rope on Slippy’s space racer.
Gem says, IF I GO INTO THE SHADOWY
SIDE, IT'LL BE COOLER THERE.
RIGHT?
Maggie says, THAT IS CORRECT.
Gem says, PERFECT.
I'M GOING IN!
She turns toward the super puff planet.
Ella says, WAIT!
WE'LL COME WITH YOU!
MAGGIE,
KEEP MY TEMPERATURE
SENSOR ON.
Maggie transforms into the shape of a thermometer with a high temperature.
Ilo says, UH, WE'LL WAIT RIGHT HERE.
He gently taps F-11.
[F-11 beeping]
Ilo watches Gem, Ella, and Slippy fly into the thick, pink clouds of the super puff planet.
[Upbeat music plays]
Ella and Slippy follow Gem into a cloud tunnel. Gem bounces over turbulence, and Maggie shows the temperature rising.
[Wind gusting]
[Maggie beeping franticly]
Ella yells, WHOA!
IT'S SO WINDY IN HERE.
[Wind gusting]
As a star, Maggie explains, SUPER-PUFF
PLANETS HAVE INTENSE WINDS.
THEY PUSH IN ALL DIRECTIONS UP,
DOWN, LEFT AND RIGHT.
The wind jerks Ella, Slippy and Gem around the tunnel.
Ella, Slippy and Gem all yell, WHOA!
Glitch falls off Slippy’s racer.
Slippy shouts, GLITCH!
[Glitch beeping]
Slippy races after Glitch and grabs his robotic arm.
Ahead, Ella and Gem shout, WHOA!
They fall out of the clouds. Slippy stumbles out behind them. Ilo waves at Ella, Gem and Slippy with a smile. Ella, Slippy and Gem fly over to Ilo.
Ella says, GEM,
THOSE WINDS ARE INTENSE.
Ella looks worried.
Ilo says, GREAT!
YOU'RE BACK!
NOW WE CAN HAVE SNACKS!
He grabs a jar of pickles.
Ilo says, LOOK, TWO PICKLES LEFT,
A PAIR OF TWINS JUST LIKE US.
Gem crosses her arms.
She says, FIRST OF ALL, I HATE PICKLES.
AND SECOND OF ALL,
WE ARE NOT A PAIR.
I'LL PROVE IT.
MAGGIE,
YOU SAID THIS PLANET HAS A CORE.
Maggie says, A SUPER HOT CORE.
IT IS COVERED BY AN ATMOSPHERE
30 TIMES HIGHER THAN EARTH'S.
BECAUSE OF THE STRONG WINDS
AND INTENSE HEAT.
NO ONE HAS EVER GONE DOWN THERE.
[Ilo briefly laughing]
Ilo says, IT SOUNDS BASICALLY IMPOSSIBLE.
Gem says, UNTIL NOW.
I'M GOING
IN.
I'M NOT LIKE ILO.
I'M NOT SCARED.
Gem flies back toward the super puff planet. The others look shocked.
Ella says, WE BETTER STOP HER!
She follows Gem.
Ilo asks, CAN F-11 AND I GET A RIDE?
GEM TOOK OUR SCOOTER.
AGAIN.
SHE KINDA TREATS IT
LIKE IT'S JUST HER SCOOTER.
Ilo shakes his head.
[Glitch beeping]
In the clouds of the super puff planet, Ella, Slippy and Ilo follow Gem into a cloud tunnel. Their space scooters sway with the strong winds.
[Wind gusting]
Gem says, SEE?
I'M LIGHTNING GEM!
Maggie looks worried.
She says, ELLA,
IT IS CURRENTLY
567 DEGREES CELSIUS.
[Maggie beeping]
Maggie says, YOU SHOULD ONLY STAY HERE
FOR A FEW MORE MINUTES.
Gem says, NO WAY!
I'M NOT AT THE CORE YET.
Ella says, IT'LL TAKE DAYS TO GET THERE
WITH THESE WINDS.
WE CAN'T STAY HERE
THAT LONG GEM!
Gem speeds ahead down the tunnel.
Slippy says, GEM, STOP!
[Ella grunting]
Ella says, IF ONLY WE COULD SEE THE WIND.
MAGGIE, CAN YOU SCAN THESE WINDS
AND GIVE ME A WIND MAP
OR SOMETHING?
Maggie says, MARVELOUS IDEA, ELLA.
INDEED I CAN.
[Upbeat music plays]
Arrows appear on the walls of the tunnel.
Maggie explains, THESE ARROWS SHOW
THE DIRECTION OF THE SUPER PUFF
PLANET'S WINDS.
Slippy says, SO IF WE WANT TO CATCH UP
WITH GEM…
Maggie says, YOU JUST
FOLLOW THE ARROWS POINTING DOWN.
PLEASE MAKE IT QUICK
SO WE CAN GET OUT OF HERE!
Ilo asks, WHY IS GEM DOING THIS?
USUALLY
WE DO EVERYTHING TOGETHER.
Ilo looks sad.
Ella says, I THINK THAT'S THE POINT.
Ilo raises an eyebrow.
Ella says, EVEN TWINS NEED SOME TIME APART.
Ilo smiles sheepishly.
Ella adds, SO YOU CAN BE
YOU AND GEM CAN BE GEM.
Ilo smiles, and Ella speeds ahead.
[Wind gusting]
Ella, Slippy and Ilo follow Maggie’s arrows that point forward.
Ella cheers, INTERSTELLAR!
She, Slippy and Ilo catch up with Gem. Slippy pulls up beside Gem and then moves ahead so Ilo is beside her.
Ilo says, YOU'LL NEVER MAKE IT TO
THE CORE.
IT'S A REALLY BAD IDEA, GEM!
I KNOW YOU'RE
LIGHTNING, GEM. OKAY?
AND I KNOW YOU HATE PICKLES AND
YOU AREN'T AFRAID OF ANYTHING.
Gem looks surprised. She stops her and Ilo’s scooter.
Gem says, I KNOW WE'RE TWINS,
BUT I'M ALSO GEM.
WE'RE DIFFERENT PEOPLE.
NOT A MATCH SET.
Floating on F-11, Ilo says, OKAY!
I'M SORRY.
I'LL TURN THE LIGHTNING BOLT
ON MY HELMET INTO A..
UMM...
Gem asks, A DINOSAUR?
Ilo chuckles, NO.
AN ILO-SAUR!
[Ilo chuckling]
Ilo says, YEAH!
[Ella and Slippy laughing]
Ella frowns.
She warns, LOOK OUT!
Maggie’s arrows appear on the walls pointing upward, and a gust of wind flips Slippy and his racer and knocks Ilo and F-11 down the tunnel.
[Slippy yelping]
Slippy yells, GEM, ELLA, HELP!
Ella and Gem share a look. They zoom down the tunnel after Slippy and Ilo.
[Dramatic music plays]
Slippy and Ilo stumble down the cloud tunnel.
[Yelping]
Ella and Gem launch space grapplers toward Slippy and Ilo and narrowly miss.
Ella groans, OH, COME ON!
Maggie says, THE FURTHER DOWN
YOU GET, THE HOTTER IT IS.
YOU MUST GET OUT OF HERE SOON.
Gem looks at arrows on two different tunnels of wind. One tunnel shows straight arrows pointing upward and the other shows arrows in an upward spiral.
Gem says, SLIPPY, FOLLOW
THAT ARROW!
Still sitting on F-11, Ilo grabs Slippy’s tow line rope. Slippy turns out of the straight arrow tunnel and into the spiral tunnel. Slippy and Ilo start to spin.
[Wailing]
The tow line falls off Slippy’s racer and separates Slippy from Ilo. Slippy and Ilo spin toward Gem and Ella.
Gem says, ELLA, NOW!
Ella grabs Slippy with her space grappler. Gem closes one eye and launches her space grappler down the tunnel. She misses Ilo.
Gem says, OH, NO.
ILO!
F-11!
Ella and Slippy follow Gem to the spiral tunnel. In the tunnel, Ilo clings to F-11 as the wind spins them around.
Ilo yells, WOAH!
Ella, Slippy and Gem dive down alongside the tunnel and through a wall of clouds to a tunnel with straight arrows pointing upward.
Ella says, WAIT.
SHOULDN'T THAT
UP ARROW MEAN...
Ilo falls up the wind tunnel.
He yelps, WHOA!
Gem flies up the tunnel. She grabs Ilo’s hand and pulls him and F-11 into the empty seat in her and Ilo’s space scooter.
[F-11 beeping]
Ella and Slippy zoom up the tunnel with Gem and Ilo.
Ilo cheers, WHEE!
Slippy cheers, WHOO-HOO!
HA-HA!
Ella smiles. She, Slippy, Gem and Ilo fly out of the super puff planet clouds.
[Gentle music plays]
At Ella and Slippy’s asteroid clubhouse, Gem and Ilo sit on the couch with F-11 between them. Ilo munches on a pickle.
Ilo says, SO, DO YOU REALLY HATE PICKLES?
[F-11 beeping]
F-11 looks between Ilo and Gem.
Gem says, I REALLY, REALLY DO.
Ilo says, THAT'S OKAY.
I GUESS WE DON’T HAVE
TO BE EXACTLY THE SAME.
Gem says, NO, WE DON'T.
BUT ALWAYS BE TWINS, BRO.
IT'S NOT GOING TO CHANGE.
F-11 pulls Gem and Ilo into a hug.
[F-11 beeping]
Slippy says, SO WHO'S IN FOR
CAPTURE THE FLAG ROUND TWO?
He holds the red and blue flag.
Ella says, THIS TIME
IT'S ME, GEM, AND F-11 AGAINST
SLIPPY, ILO AND GLITCH.
Gem and Ilo look at each other.
Gem says, I'M SO GONNA BEAT YOU ILO-SAUR!
Ilo says, NAH, I'M GOING TO BEAT YOU
LIGHTNING GEM!
Ella says, ALL RIGHT!
THE GAME IS ON!
[Upbeat music plays]
Slippy says, GONNA WIN AGAIN!
Slippy, Gem and Ilo follow Ella off the clubhouse asteroid.
[Laughing]
[Soft music plays]
