At home, 8-year-old Ella, who has curly, dark brown hair, runs down a staircase with a toy rocket ship. She wears a teal space suit and a helmet with animal ears.
[Giggling]
Ella runs into the living room and gives her little sister, Tilly, the rocket ship.
[Upbeat music plays]
A singer sings, COME WITH ME, TO THE STARS.
Ella’s mom picks up Tilly and smiles. Ella runs outside and past her dad.
The singer sings, THE GALAXY IS OURS!
Ella waves to her dad.
She says, BYE DAD!
Ella jumps onto her moon scooter, a circular spacecraft, and takes off.
People say, LET'S GO!
The singer sings, LOOK AT ALL THE WONDER. INTER-STELLAR.
Ella flies over a planet with Madhu, a blue and green alien, Slippy, a black-haired boy who flies a red spacecraft and Glitch, Slippy’s small robot.
The signer sings, LOOK UP SO MUCH SPLENDOUR. INTER-STELLAR.
Ella flies on Madhu.
The singer sings, LOOK OUT FOR ADVENTURE.
Ella and Slippy explore a planet together with Maggie, Ella’s A.I. star. Elsewhere in space, Slippy and Madhu look startled.
They say, WHOA!
They serve away from Ella and her moon scooter.
The singer sings, COME EXPLORE THE MILKY WAY!
Ella and her family sit on a spacecraft.
The singer sings, LOOK UP! INTERSTELLAR ELLA.
Ella, her family, and her friends admire a giant colourful cloud together. Text reads, t.v.o. kids Presents, Interstellar Ella.
[Upbeat music plays]
Ella bounces up high on a jump stick.
She cheers, WAHOO!
Slippy bounces up high on a jump stick.
He cheers, YUPPIE!
Ella and Slippy bounce around Glitch.
Ella says, AND NOW FOR THE BIG ONE.
She and Slippy bounce higher and higher.
Ella counts, ONE, TWO, THREE!
She and Slippy bounce high above Glitch.
Ella and Slippy cheer, PLUTO JUMP RIDE!
They land on their feet outside Ella’s home station house in front of Glitch.
[Glitch chittering]
Glitch claps his hands.
Slippy says, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.
Ella says, AND WE'LL GO EVEN HIGHER ON PLUTO. THE GRAVITY THERE IS SUPER LOW.
Maggie appears from Ella’s watch.
Maggie says THAT IS CORRECT, ELLA. PLUTO IS A DWARF PLANET WITH 12 TIMES LESS GRAVITY THAN EARTH.
Maggie projects a video of a ball bouncing on Pluto and on Earth.
Ella says, INTERSETLLAR!
From nearby, Tilly says, YEAH! PLUTO SOUNDS STINTERBELLAR. I WANT TO GO.
She flies over to Slippy and Ella with her moon boots.
Ella says, I KNOW TILLS. BUT PLUTO IS DARK, COLD AND HAS A REALLY LOW GRAVITY. IT'S NOT FOR BEGINNERS. TRUST ME.
Slippy says, THE FIRST TIME WE WENT THERE, ELLA ALMOST FELL DOWN A MOUNTAIN.
Ella says, YEAH, NOT PRETTY.
[Glitch chittering]
Glitch shakes his head. Tilly looks sad. Ella pokes Tilly with her jump stick.
Ella says, BUT WITH THIS JUMP STICK, YOU CAN PRACTICE BEING ON PLUTO AND COME WITH US NEXT TIME. OKAY?
She gives Tilly her jump stick.
Tilly says, THIS IS FOR ME?
She bounces up high on the jump stick.
Tilly yells, WHOA!
She loses her grip.
[Slippy gasping]
Ella flies with her moon boots and grabs Tilly. The jump stick floats away. Ella smiles at Tilly, and they fly back to the house.
Ella says, YOU KEEP PRACTICING TILLS, AND WE'LL SEE YOU WHEN WE GET BACK.
Slippy grabs Ella’s jump stick.
Tilly says sadly, OKAY.
Ella says, HEY, GIVE ME AN ASTEROID!
Tilly bumps her fist against Ella’s, and Ella falls.
[Ella giggling]
Tilly smiles, and Ella stands up.
Ella says, DAD’S IN THE GARAGE IF YOU NEED ANYTHING, OKAY?
Ella walks toward her moon scooter. Slippy passes Tilly the jump stick and follows. Tilly looks disappointed. On his space racer, Slippy flies through space alongside Ella.
Ella says, I'M SO READY FOR PLUTO. THIS TIME, I WON'T FALL DOWN A MOUNTAIN.
Slippy says, YEAH, WE DID PLUTO PRACTICE.
He and Ella fly toward Pluto. Outside Ella’s house, Madhu drops toward the entrance.
Madhu says, ELLA! SLIPPY! I FINISHED ALL THE STUFF I HAD TO DO TODAY SO I CAN PLAY NOW. ISN'T THAT MARVELOUS?
Madhu lands and looks around.
From nearby, Tilly says, NO! IT'S STINTERBELLAR!
Tilly bounces over to Madhu on the jump stick. Madhu smiles.
Tilly asks, DID I SCARE YOU?
Madhu says, YOU SURE DID, TILLY. BUT WHERE'S YOUR BIG SISTER?
Tilly says, SHE WENT TO PLUTO WITH SLIPPY, BECAUSE YOU CAN JUMP REALLY HIGH THERE. IT SOUNDS SO COOL.
Madhu says, IT SURE IS, DO YOU WANT TO COME?
Tilly says, ELLA SAID I'M NOT READY. SO WOULDN’T IT BE SAFE. BUT I PRACTICE A LOT. LOOK.
She bounces up high and does a flip. Tilly lands on her feet in front of Madhu.
Madhu says, WHOA! IF YOU COME TO PLUTO WITH ME? WE'LL SHOW ELLA YOU CAN BE SAFE AND SOUND TOGETHER.
Tilly jumps in Madhu’s arms and nuzzles Madhu’s cheek. Tilly jumps down and runs away.
Tilly says, I’LL ASK DAD IF I CAN GO.
On Pluto, Ella, Slippy and Glitch look up at a mountain.
Ella says, RACE YOU TO THE TOP!
She bounces past Slippy on a jump stick. Slippy bounces after her, and they race up the mountain.
[Grunting]
[Giggling]
At the top of the mountain, Ella and Slippy gaze out at the red and blue planet.
Slippy says, ASTRONOMICAL. PLUTO IS BEAUTIFUL.
[Angelical music plays]
Ella says, MAGGIE, HOW DID THE ICE BECOME SO RED?
Maggie appears and says, WHEN GAS IN PLUTO'S ATMOSPHERE IS HIT BY LIGHT FROM THE SUN? IT CREATES RED PARTICLES THAT RAIN DOWN ON THE SURFACE.
Maggie shows a projection of rain on Pluto.
Ella says, IT’S VERY PRETTY.
Slippy says, SURE IS. RACE YOU TO THE BOTTOM?
Ella says, LAST ONE DOWN IS A CRATER.
She bounces down the steep slope.
[Upbeat music plays]
Across the planet, Madhu flies down to a mountain covered with ice pillars with Tilly with Tilly on their back. Tilly jumps off and looks up at Madhu.
Tilly says, THIS IS PLUTO? STINTERBELLAR!
Madhu looks up at the sky and then back at Tilly. Madhu finds Tilly missing and frowns.
Madhu says, TILLY, WHERE DID YOU GO?
[Tilly gilling]
Tilly peaks out from behind an ice pillar behind Madhu.
Tilly says, BET YOU CAN'T FINE ME!
[Tilly giggling]
Madhu looks around and checks behind the ice pillar where Tilly hides. Tilly sneaks away and peaks out from another ice pillar.
Tilly says, YOU GOTTA CATCH ME!
Madhu finds Tilly.
Madhu says, HELLO THERE!
Tilly runs away and into Madhu’s legs. Tilly falls and looks up at Madhu, stretched around multiple ice pillars. Madhu returns to their normal size and joins Tilly.
Madhu says, LET'S GO FIND ELLA AND SLIPPY. THEN WE CAN ALL PLAY TOGETHER.
Tilly says, ONE MORE ROUND. PLEASE MADHU? THIS TIME YOU CAN HIDE.
Madhu says, OKAY. ONE MORE.
Tilly jumps and floats up high.
Tilly says, WHOOPSIES. I FORGOT ABOUT THE LOW GRAVITY.
She grabs the top of an ice pillar.
Madhu says, PLEASE BE EXTRA CAREFUL WHEN YOU COME DIND ME, OKAY?
Elsewhere on the planet, Ella and Slippy bounce up a mountain on their jump sticks with Glitch close behind. They flip onto the top.
Ella says, WHOA!
She and Slippy gaze out at the ice-pillar-covered mountain.
[Glitch chittering]
Ella says, THOSE ICE PILLARS LOOK INTERSTELLAR!
Slippy says, LET’S CHECK THEM OUT!
Glitch follows Ella and Slippy down the mountain. Ella cracks the ground with her jump stick.
[Cracking]
Ella yells, WHOA!
Slippy steps off his jump stick and looks up at Ella. Ella falls off her jumps tick and lands hard beside Slippy.
[Ella grunting]
The ground cracks under Ella.
Ella says, I’M OKAY.
Slippy says, I THOUGHT YOU WEREN'T GOING TO FALL DOWN A MOUNTAIN THIS TIME?
Ella says, I DIDN'T FALL. THAT WAS JUST A BUMPY LANDING.
[Glitch’s alarm signalling]
[Glitch chittering]
Glitch waves his arms and points at the crack lines in the ground. Maggie appears from Ella’s watch.
Maggie warns, BE CAREFUL. THE ICE ON PLUTO CAN BE UNSTABLE. IF THE TEMPERATURE RISES EVEN A LITTLE BIT. THE ICE MELTS.
Slippy says, LUCKY WE DIDN'T USE OUR SPACE BOOTS YET.
Maggie says, SPACE BOOTS ON PLUTO ARE NOT A GOOD IDEA. THEY CREATE HEAT AND ARE HARD TO CONTROL. WHEN YOU ARE NOT USED TO THIS GRAVITY.
Ella says, HUH. GOOD THING TILLY STAYED HOME TO PRACTICE.
Maggie turns and looks at the ice pillar mountain with Ella and Slippy. Madhu glides around the ice pillars.
Slippy says, HEY, IS THAT MADHU?
Tilly follows Madhu up the mountain.
Ella says, AND TILLY?!
Ella grabs her jump stick. She and Slippy walk toward the ice pillar mountain. On the mountain, Tilly runs uphill.
[Tilly giggling]
Tilly says, I'M GONNA FIND YOU MADHU! I'M GONNA FIND YOU.
She runs around an ice pillar.
Tilly says, I'M STILL GONNA FIND YOU!
She turns around.
Tilly says, AH! ELLA!
Tilly looks at Ella with a guilty expression. Ella looks disappointed.
Tilly says, I WAS PLAYING A GAME WITH MADHU.
Slippy and Glitch catch up with Ella.
From close by, Madhu says, EVERYONE'S HERE NOW SO WE CAN ALL PLAY!
Madhu catches up with the others.
Madhu says, TILLY S BEING EXTRA SAFE.
Ella says, TILLS? YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE HERE.
Tilly says, BUT DAD SAID IT WAS OKAY. AND LOOK.
She jumps up high.
Tilly says, I PRACTICE A LOT.
Madhu catches Tilly before she hits the ground.
Tilly says, UH, I ALMOST HAD IT.
She casually leans against an ice pillar.
[Rumbling]
The ice pillar starts to tip over.
[Ella gasping]
The ice pillar stops.
Tilly says, PHEW!
[Rumbling]
The ice pillar breaks.
[Tilly gasping]
The ice pillar falls and knocks over ice pillars like dominos.
[Crashing]
[Everyone gasping]
The ice pillars fall in a row down the mountain.
[Dramatic music plays]
An ice pillar at the bottom of the mountain breaks into pieces against the ice surface at the bottom.
[Cracking]
Tilly says, I’M SORRY. I DIDN’T MEAN TO HURT PLUTO.
Ella and Slippy grab their jump sticks and run down the mountain. Tilly, Glitch and Madhu follow. At the bottom, Ella talks to her dad with a com bubble.
Ella says, YEAH, TILLY’S SAFE WITH ME DAD.
Standing behind Ella with her arms crossed, Tilly looks annoyed.
Ella says, AND WE’LL BE BACK HOME SOON.
Tilly turns away. Madhu kneels beside her.
Tilly says, I DON'T WANT TO GO HOME YET. I PROMISE. I CAN BE SAFE. I HAVE MY SPACE BOOTS IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG.
She turns on her space boots.
[Beeping]
[Whooshing]
Tilly flies above the others.
Ella says, WAIT, NO TILLY! TURN OFF YOUR SPACE BOOTS TILLS I'LL CATCH YOU. TRUST ME.
Tilly flies over the ice pillars. Ella follows Tilly on her jump stick. Tilly narrowly avoids the tips of the ice pillars. The flames of her moon boots skim the ice.
[Sizzling]
Tilly looks worried. She turns off her moon boots.
[Beeping]
Tilly falls. Ella bounces up high with her jump stick and catches Tilly. They land at the bottom of the mountain, and Tilly stumbles to the ground.
Ella asks, ARE YOU OKAY?
Tilly says, YEAH, MY SPACE BOOTS WENT ALL WONKY.
Ella says, THAT'S CAUSE WE'RE NOT USED TO PLUTO'S LOWER GRAVITY. ALSO, THEIR HEAT MELTS THE ICE PILLARS. LOOK.
She and Till look up at the ice pillars and the now-melted tips.
Tilly says, OH NO. I HURT PLUTO AGAIN.
Ella says, MAYBE MAGGIE CAN TELL US HOW TO FIX IT.
[Rumbling]
Tilly asks, IS PLUTO'S TUMMY RUMBLING?
Ella says, PLUTO DOESN'T HAVE A TUMMY.
[Cracking]
Three of the ice pillars fall toward Ella and Tilly.
Ella shouts, JUMP!
An ice pillar rolls down the hill.
Ella and Tilly wail, WHOA!
They jump over ice pillars rolling down the hill. Slippy watches from nearby with Glitch and Madhu by his side.
Slippy yells, HOLD ON! I’M COMING!
Madhu flies toward Ella and Tilly. Slippy and Glitch follow.
Madhu says, I’VE GOT YOU!
Madhu reaches for Ella and Tilly. Ella and Tilly jump out of Madhu’s reach and over another log.
Madhu says, WHOOPSIES. I DON'T GOT YOU.
Madhu stumbles onto a rolling ice pillar. Ella and Tilly kneel on the ground ahead.
Madhu’s eyes look in different directions.
Madhu says, WHOA! OOH, IS THIS DIZZINESS? INTERESTING.
[Cracking]
Ella and Tilly look up the mountain. Another ice pillar breaks.
[Intense music plays]
Ella says, GET ON MY BACK, TILLS, WE CAN DO THIS.
Tilly says, OKAY!
Multiple ice pillars roll down the mountain toward Ella and Tilly. Ella jumps across the ice pillars with Tilly on her back.
Tilly says, THERE!
She points toward an ice pillar rolling down the mountain.
Tilly says, NOW JUMP THERE!
[Rumbling]
Tilly says, AND THERE!
Ella jumps to another ice pillar and stumbles. She runs on the spot and rides it down the mountain.
Ella and Tilly wail, WHOA!
Ella leaps into the air.
Tilly shouts, WE’RE GONNA HIT IT!
She points toward an ice pillar falling toward her and Ella.
Ella says, NO, WE AREN’T.
Slippy flies over to Ella and Tilly on his space racer.
Ella says, GLITCH, WE NEED A JUMP STICK.
She and Tilly start to fall. Ella catches a jump stick from Glitch and bounces off a rolling pillar.
Ella says, THANKS, GLITCH!
She lands on her feet on the ground with Tilly by her side.
[Grunting]
Near the top of the mountain, Ella and Tilly turn and look down. Madhu runs past multiple ice pillar stumps with a worried look. Slippy lands his space racer behind Madhu.
Madhu asks, YOU OKAY, FRIENDS?
Slippy says, YEAH, THAT LOOKED REALLY INTENSE.
Ella says, IT WAS. BUT TILLY WAS REALLY BRAVE.
Tilly says, ONLY BECAUSE ELLA HELPED ME.
Ella picks up Tilly and spins her around.
[Tilly laughing]
Tilly looks past Slippy and Madhu.
Tilly says, AWW.
She frowns. Slippy and Madhu glance at the pile of pillars at the bottom of the mountain.
Tilly asks, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE ICE PILLARS?
Ella puts Tilly down. Maggie appears from Ella’s watch.
Tilly asks, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE ICE PILLARS? MAGGIE, CAN WE FIX THEM?
Maggie says, YOU CANNOT REALLY FIX THEM, BUT A SOURCE OF HEAT COULD MELT WHAT'S LEFT OF THE PILLARS BACK INTO PLACE.
Madhu says, OH, MY HUGS ARE VERY WARM.
Madhu glows orange and wraps their arms around Ella, Tilly and Slippy.
[Ella giggling]
[Tilly giggling]
Ella checks her watch and frowns.
Slippy says, MADHU AND I CAN HANDLE IT IF YOU TWO HAVE TO GO.
Tilly says, YEAH.
She and Ella slip out of Madhu’s hug.
Ella says, ACTUALLY, YOU'LL LEARN WAY MORE OUT HERE THAN YOU WILL SITTING AT HOME STATION.
Tilly asks, DOES THAT MEAN…
Ella says, LET’S FIX PLUTO!
[Ella laughing]
Ella says, I’LL COM BUBBLE DAD.
Tilly cheers, YEAH!
[Ella laughing]
Ella and Tilly bounce on a jump tick.
Tilly cheers, WHOO-HOO!
Slippy bounces behind Ella and Tilly with Glitch. Madhu lines up an ice pillar with its stump. Slippy bounces off the tip and bumps it into place. Madhu hugs where the two pieces meet and melts them into place.
Madhu says, YOU'RE DOING GREAT, FRIENDS.
Ella, Tilly, Slippy and Glitch bounce on the jump sticks. Madhu lines up another ice pillar and stump. Ella and Tilly bump it into place, and Madhu melts it together. The group of friends fix more broken ice pillars.
[Upbeat music plays]
The group bump the ice pillars into place on stumps with THEIR jump sticks. Madhu holds another ice pillar over a stump. Ella and Tilly bounce toward it. Ella glances at Tilly and puts her in control of the jump stick. They bounce off the ice pillar and knock it into place. Madhu hugs the ice, and the pieces melt together. Ella, Tilly and Slippy land beside Madhu.
Tilly says, PLUTO IS AMAZING!
Ella asks, DON'T YOU MEAN STINTERBELLAR?
[Laughing]
Later, on Pluto, Slippy, Madhu, Ella and Tilly fly away. Tilly flies with Ella on Ella’s moon scooter. Tilly looks back at Pluto.
Tilly says, WHOA! WHAT IS THAT?
She looks at a purple shape on Pluto.
Maggie appears and says, THAT IS SPUTNIK PLANITIA. IT IS A MASSIVE ICE-FILLED BASIN IN THE SHAPE OF A HEART.
Ella looks back at the heart shape on Pluto.
Madhu says, OH, PLUTO LOVES US FOR PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER.
Tilly says, WE HEART YOU TOO, PLUTO.
She makes a heart shape with her hands. Slippy and Madhu look at the planet.
Ella says, WE SURE DO.
Tilly stares at Pluto as she flies away with Ella and the others.
[Gentle music plays]

[Ella giggling]
Tilly smiles, and Ella stands up.
Ella says, DAD’S IN THE GARAGE IF YOU NEED ANYTHING, OKAY?
Ella walks toward her moon scooter. Slippy passes Tilly the jump stick and follows. Tilly looks disappointed. On his space racer, Slippy flies through space alongside Ella.
Ella says, I'M SO READY FOR PLUTO. THIS TIME, I WON'T FALL DOWN A MOUNTAIN.
Slippy says, YEAH, WE DID PLUTO PRACTICE.
He and Ella fly toward Pluto. Outside Ella’s house, Madhu drops toward the entrance.
Madhu says, ELLA! SLIPPY! I FINISHED ALL THE STUFF I HAD TO DO TODAY SO I CAN PLAY NOW. ISN'T THAT MARVELOUS?
Madhu lands and looks around.
From nearby, Tilly says, NO! IT'S STINTERBELLAR!
Tilly bounces over to Madhu on the jump stick. Madhu smiles.
Tilly asks, DID I SCARE YOU?
Madhu says, YOU SURE DID, TILLY. BUT WHERE'S YOUR BIG SISTER?
Tilly says, SHE WENT TO PLUTO WITH SLIPPY, BECAUSE YOU CAN JUMP REALLY HIGH THERE. IT SOUNDS SO COOL.
Madhu says, IT SURE IS, DO YOU WANT TO COME?
Tilly says, ELLA SAID I'M NOT READY. SO WOULDN’T IT BE SAFE. BUT I PRACTICE A LOT. LOOK.
She bounces up high and does a flip. Tilly lands on her feet in front of Madhu.
Madhu says, WHOA! IF YOU COME TO PLUTO WITH ME? WE'LL SHOW ELLA YOU CAN BE SAFE AND SOUND TOGETHER.
Tilly jumps in Madhu’s arms and nuzzles Madhu’s cheek. Tilly jumps down and runs away.
Tilly says, I’LL ASK DAD IF I CAN GO.
On Pluto, Ella, Slippy and Glitch look up at a mountain.
Ella says, RACE YOU TO THE TOP!
She bounces past Slippy on a jump stick. Slippy bounces after her, and they race up the mountain.
[Grunting]
[Giggling]
At the top of the mountain, Ella and Slippy gaze out at the red and blue planet.
Slippy says, ASTRONOMICAL. PLUTO IS BEAUTIFUL.
[Angelical music plays]
Ella says, MAGGIE, HOW DID THE ICE BECOME SO RED?
Maggie appears and says, WHEN GAS IN PLUTO'S ATMOSPHERE IS HIT BY LIGHT FROM THE SUN? IT CREATES RED PARTICLES THAT RAIN DOWN ON THE SURFACE.
Maggie shows a projection of rain on Pluto.
Ella says, IT’S VERY PRETTY.
Slippy says, SURE IS. RACE YOU TO THE BOTTOM?
Ella says, LAST ONE DOWN IS A CRATER.
She bounces down the steep slope.
[Upbeat music plays]
Across the planet, Madhu flies down to a mountain covered with ice pillars with Tilly with Tilly on their back. Tilly jumps off and looks up at Madhu.
Tilly says, THIS IS PLUTO? STINTERBELLAR!
Madhu looks up at the sky and then back at Tilly. Madhu finds Tilly missing and frowns.
Madhu says, TILLY, WHERE DID YOU GO?
[Tilly gilling]
Tilly peaks out from behind an ice pillar behind Madhu.
Tilly says, BET YOU CAN'T FINE ME!
[Tilly giggling]
Madhu looks around and checks behind the ice pillar where Tilly hides. Tilly sneaks away and peaks out from another ice pillar.
Tilly says, YOU GOTTA CATCH ME!
Madhu finds Tilly.
Madhu says, HELLO THERE!
Tilly runs away and into Madhu’s legs. Tilly falls and looks up at Madhu, stretched around multiple ice pillars. Madhu returns to their normal size and joins Tilly.
Madhu says, LET'S GO FIND ELLA AND SLIPPY. THEN WE CAN ALL PLAY TOGETHER.
Tilly says, ONE MORE ROUND. PLEASE MADHU? THIS TIME YOU CAN HIDE.
Madhu says, OKAY. ONE MORE.
Tilly jumps and floats up high.
Tilly says, WHOOPSIES. I FORGOT ABOUT THE LOW GRAVITY.
She grabs the top of an ice pillar.
Madhu says, PLEASE BE EXTRA CAREFUL WHEN YOU COME DIND ME, OKAY?
Elsewhere on the planet, Ella and Slippy bounce up a mountain on their jump sticks with Glitch close behind. They flip onto the top.
Ella says, WHOA!
She and Slippy gaze out at the ice-pillar-covered mountain.
[Glitch chittering]
Ella says, THOSE ICE PILLARS LOOK INTERSTELLAR!
Slippy says, LET’S CHECK THEM OUT!
Glitch follows Ella and Slippy down the mountain. Ella cracks the ground with her jump stick.
[Cracking]
Ella yells, WHOA!
Slippy steps off his jump stick and looks up at Ella. Ella falls off her jumps tick and lands hard beside Slippy.
[Ella grunting]
The ground cracks under Ella.
Ella says, I’M OKAY.
Slippy says, I THOUGHT YOU WEREN'T GOING TO FALL DOWN A MOUNTAIN THIS TIME?
Ella says, I DIDN'T FALL. THAT WAS JUST A BUMPY LANDING.
[Glitch’s alarm signalling]
[Glitch chittering]
Glitch waves his arms and points at the crack lines in the ground. Maggie appears from Ella’s watch.
Maggie warns, BE CAREFUL. THE ICE ON PLUTO CAN BE UNSTABLE. IF THE TEMPERATURE RISES EVEN A LITTLE BIT. THE ICE MELTS.
Slippy says, LUCKY WE DIDN'T USE OUR SPACE BOOTS YET.
Maggie says, SPACE BOOTS ON PLUTO ARE NOT A GOOD IDEA. THEY CREATE HEAT AND ARE HARD TO CONTROL. WHEN YOU ARE NOT USED TO THIS GRAVITY.
Ella says, HUH. GOOD THING TILLY STAYED HOME TO PRACTICE.
Maggie turns and looks at the ice pillar mountain with Ella and Slippy. Madhu glides around the ice pillars.
Slippy says, HEY, IS THAT MADHU?
Tilly follows Madhu up the mountain.
Ella says, AND TILLY?!
Ella grabs her jump stick. She and Slippy walk toward the ice pillar mountain. On the mountain, Tilly runs uphill.
[Tilly giggling]
Tilly says, I'M GONNA FIND YOU MADHU! I'M GONNA FIND YOU.
She runs around an ice pillar.
Tilly says, I'M STILL GONNA FIND YOU!
She turns around.
Tilly says, AH! ELLA!
Tilly looks at Ella with a guilty expression. Ella looks disappointed.
Tilly says, I WAS PLAYING A GAME WITH MADHU.
Slippy and Glitch catch up with Ella.
From close by, Madhu says, EVERYONE'S HERE NOW SO WE CAN ALL PLAY!
Madhu catches up with the others.
Madhu says, TILLY S BEING EXTRA SAFE.
Ella says, TILLS? YOU AREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE HERE.
Tilly says, BUT DAD SAID IT WAS OKAY. AND LOOK.
She jumps up high.
Tilly says, I PRACTICE A LOT.
Madhu catches Tilly before she hits the ground.
Tilly says, UH, I ALMOST HAD IT.
She casually leans against an ice pillar.
[Rumbling]
The ice pillar starts to tip over.
[Ella gasping]
The ice pillar stops.
Tilly says, PHEW!
[Rumbling]
The ice pillar breaks.
[Tilly gasping]
The ice pillar falls and knocks over ice pillars like dominos.
[Crashing]
[Everyone gasping]
The ice pillars fall in a row down the mountain.
[Dramatic music plays]
An ice pillar at the bottom of the mountain breaks into pieces against the ice surface at the bottom.
[Cracking]
Tilly says, I’M SORRY. I DIDN’T MEAN TO HURT PLUTO.
Ella and Slippy grab their jump sticks and run down the mountain. Tilly, Glitch and Madhu follow. At the bottom, Ella talks to her dad with a com bubble.
Ella says, YEAH, TILLY’S SAFE WITH ME DAD.
Standing behind Ella with her arms crossed, Tilly looks annoyed.
Ella says, AND WE’LL BE BACK HOME SOON.
Tilly turns away. Madhu kneels beside her.
Tilly says, I DON'T WANT TO GO HOME YET. I PROMISE. I CAN BE SAFE. I HAVE MY SPACE BOOTS IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG.
She turns on her space boots.
[Beeping]
[Whooshing]
Tilly flies above the others.
Ella says, WAIT, NO TILLY! TURN OFF YOUR SPACE BOOTS TILLS I'LL CATCH YOU. TRUST ME.
Tilly flies over the ice pillars. Ella follows Tilly on her jump stick. Tilly narrowly avoids the tips of the ice pillars. The flames of her moon boots skim the ice.
[Sizzling]
Tilly looks worried. She turns off her moon boots.
[Beeping]
Tilly falls. Ella bounces up high with her jump stick and catches Tilly. They land at the bottom of the mountain, and Tilly stumbles to the ground.
Ella asks, ARE YOU OKAY?
Tilly says, YEAH, MY SPACE BOOTS WENT ALL WONKY.
Ella says, THAT'S CAUSE WE'RE NOT USED TO PLUTO'S LOWER GRAVITY. ALSO, THEIR HEAT MELTS THE ICE PILLARS. LOOK.
She and Till look up at the ice pillars and the now-melted tips.
Tilly says, OH NO. I HURT PLUTO AGAIN.
Ella says, MAYBE MAGGIE CAN TELL US HOW TO FIX IT.
[Rumbling]
Tilly asks, IS PLUTO'S TUMMY RUMBLING?
Ella says, PLUTO DOESN'T HAVE A TUMMY.
[Cracking]
Three of the ice pillars fall toward Ella and Tilly.
Ella shouts, JUMP!
An ice pillar rolls down the hill.
Ella and Tilly wail, WHOA!
They jump over ice pillars rolling down the hill. Slippy watches from nearby with Glitch and Madhu by his side.
Slippy yells, HOLD ON! I’M COMING!
Madhu flies toward Ella and Tilly. Slippy and Glitch follow.
Madhu says, I’VE GOT YOU!
Madhu reaches for Ella and Tilly. Ella and Tilly jump out of Madhu’s reach and over another log.
Madhu says, WHOOPSIES. I DON'T GOT YOU.
Madhu stumbles onto a rolling ice pillar. Ella and Tilly kneel on the ground ahead.
Madhu’s eyes look in different directions.
Madhu says, WHOA! OOH, IS THIS DIZZINESS? INTERESTING.
[Cracking]
Ella and Tilly look up the mountain. Another ice pillar breaks.
[Intense music plays]
Ella says, GET ON MY BACK, TILLS, WE CAN DO THIS.
Tilly says, OKAY!
Multiple ice pillars roll down the mountain toward Ella and Tilly. Ella jumps across the ice pillars with Tilly on her back.
Tilly says, THERE!
She points toward an ice pillar rolling down the mountain.
Tilly says, NOW JUMP THERE!
[Rumbling]
Tilly says, AND THERE!
Ella jumps to another ice pillar and stumbles. She runs on the spot and rides it down the mountain.
Ella and Tilly wail, WHOA!
Ella leaps into the air.
Tilly shouts, WE’RE GONNA HIT IT!
She points toward an ice pillar falling toward her and Ella.
Ella says, NO, WE AREN’T.
Slippy flies over to Ella and Tilly on his space racer.
Ella says, GLITCH, WE NEED A JUMP STICK.
She and Tilly start to fall. Ella catches a jump stick from Glitch and bounces off a rolling pillar.
Ella says, THANKS, GLITCH!
She lands on her feet on the ground with Tilly by her side.
[Grunting]
Near the top of the mountain, Ella and Tilly turn and look down. Madhu runs past multiple ice pillar stumps with a worried look. Slippy lands his space racer behind Madhu.
Madhu asks, YOU OKAY, FRIENDS?
Slippy says, YEAH, THAT LOOKED REALLY INTENSE.
Ella says, IT WAS. BUT TILLY WAS REALLY BRAVE.
Tilly says, ONLY BECAUSE ELLA HELPED ME.
Ella picks up Tilly and spins her around.
[Tilly laughing]
Tilly looks past Slippy and Madhu.
Tilly says, AWW.
She frowns. Slippy and Madhu glance at the pile of pillars at the bottom of the mountain.
Tilly asks, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE ICE PILLARS?
Ella puts Tilly down. Maggie appears from Ella’s watch.
Tilly asks, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE ICE PILLARS? MAGGIE, CAN WE FIX THEM?
Maggie says, YOU CANNOT REALLY FIX THEM, BUT A SOURCE OF HEAT COULD MELT WHAT'S LEFT OF THE PILLARS BACK INTO PLACE.
Madhu says, OH, MY HUGS ARE VERY WARM.
Madhu glows orange and wraps their arms around Ella, Tilly and Slippy.
[Ella giggling]
[Tilly giggling]
Ella checks her watch and frowns.
Slippy says, MADHU AND I CAN HANDLE IT IF YOU TWO HAVE TO GO.
Tilly says, YEAH.
She and Ella slip out of Madhu’s hug.
Ella says, ACTUALLY, YOU'LL LEARN WAY MORE OUT HERE THAN YOU WILL SITTING AT HOME STATION.
Tilly asks, DOES THAT MEAN…
Ella says, LET’S FIX PLUTO!
[Ella laughing]
Ella says, I’LL COM BUBBLE DAD.
Tilly cheers, YEAH!
[Ella laughing]
Ella and Tilly bounce on a jump tick.
Tilly cheers, WHOO-HOO!
Slippy bounces behind Ella and Tilly with Glitch. Madhu lines up an ice pillar with its stump. Slippy bounces off the tip and bumps it into place. Madhu hugs where the two pieces meet and melts them into place.
Madhu says, YOU'RE DOING GREAT, FRIENDS.
Ella, Tilly, Slippy and Glitch bounce on the jump sticks. Madhu lines up another ice pillar and stump. Ella and Tilly bump it into place, and Madhu melts it together. The group of friends fix more broken ice pillars.
[Upbeat music plays]
The group bump the ice pillars into place on stumps with THEIR jump sticks. Madhu holds another ice pillar over a stump. Ella and Tilly bounce toward it. Ella glances at Tilly and puts her in control of the jump stick. They bounce off the ice pillar and knock it into place. Madhu hugs the ice, and the pieces melt together. Ella, Tilly and Slippy land beside Madhu.
Tilly says, PLUTO IS AMAZING!
Ella asks, DON'T YOU MEAN STINTERBELLAR?
[Laughing]
Later, on Pluto, Slippy, Madhu, Ella and Tilly fly away. Tilly flies with Ella on Ella’s moon scooter. Tilly looks back at Pluto.
Tilly says, WHOA! WHAT IS THAT?
She looks at a purple shape on Pluto.
Maggie appears and says, THAT IS SPUTNIK PLANITIA. IT IS A MASSIVE ICE-FILLED BASIN IN THE SHAPE OF A HEART.
Ella looks back at the heart shape on Pluto.
Madhu says, OH, PLUTO LOVES US FOR PUTTING IT BACK TOGETHER.
Tilly says, WE HEART YOU TOO, PLUTO.
She makes a heart shape with her hands. Slippy and Madhu look at the planet.
Ella says, WE SURE DO.
Tilly stares at Pluto as she flies away with Ella and the others.
[Gentle music plays]
