Short fluffy yellow hair grows between his long ears. Numbers appear on polka dots. Polkaroo waves. A title reads, TVOKids presents “Polkaroo Counts!”.

A blond-haired boy sits at a round blue table in a playroom.
Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!
The boy says, HI POLKAROO!
A female narrator says, HI THOMAS! HI

A chalkboard is divided into 15 squares. The number 6 is missing.

MISSING!

LET'S GO FIND IT!
HEY! WHERE DID
POLKAROO GO, THOMAS?
Thomas points and asks, IS THAT POLKAROO OVER THERE?
[Harp music plays]
[Birds chirp]
Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!
The narrator says, IT SURE IS! LOOKS
LIKE POLKAROO FOUND A PICNIC!
Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!
[Energetic music plays]
The narrator says, YUM, WHAT'S OVER
HERE?!
Polkaroo looks at a plate with six muffins on it.
Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!
[Chime]
The narrator counts, ONE.
Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!
[Chime]
The narrator counts, TWO.
Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!
[Chime]
The narrator counts, THREE.
Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!

Thomas counts his fingers. Each time he says a number, a chime sounds and the corresponding number appears under his hand.

The narrator says, AMAZING THOMAS! SIX
FINGERS!
[Harp music plays]
Polkaroo looks over a railing, the number 6 is beliw him.
[Birds chirp]
The narrator says, HEY POLKAROO, OVER
HERE!
[Upbeat music plays]
Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!
The narrator says, ANOTHER SIX!
Polkaroo says, POLKAROO! POLKAROO!
The narrator says, GOOD FOR YOU! YOU

Polkaroo places a red golf ball on a mini-golf course.
The narrator says, OOOH, THAT LOOKS

Polkaroo putts the ball into a hole. A flag in the hole reads, 6.
[slide whistle]

The narrator says, WOAH! GREAT SHOT
POLKAROO!
Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!

Polkaroo picks up the flag and dances.
The narrator says, POLKAROO FOUND SIX!

Thomas stares at building blocks labelled five and seven.
The narrator asks, WHAT NUMBER IS
MISSING?
Thomas says, I KNOW!
Thomas grabs a building block numbered six, then places it between blocks five and seven.
Thomas says, SIX!
FIVE, SIX, SEVEN!
[Chime]
The narrator says, GOOD JOB, THOMAS!
[Harp music plays]
Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!
Polkaroo skips into the playroom.
Thomas hugs Polkaroo.
Thomas says, HI POLKAROO! DID YOU FIND THE
NUMBER SIX. POLKAROO?
Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!
The narrator says, YES! SHOW US WHAT YOU
FOUND, POLKAROO!
[Drum roll]
