Different coloured polka dots and numbers float around Polkaroo as he waves. Polkaroo is a green kangaroo like animal with yellow hair between long ears. He wears a yellow outfit decorated with colourful polka dots. Everyday items change into shapes and numbers. Polkaroo waves beside text that reads, TVOkids presents, Polkaroo Counts!
Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!
(Child laughing)

A young girl carries a tray with plates and a tea pot to a small table outside. She wears a dark, white polka dot coat.
A narrator says, HI MADISON!
Madison places the tray on the table.
The narrator asks, IS IT TIME FOR THE
AFTERNOON TEA PARTY?
Madison says, YES, WITH FOUR GUESTS:
ME, POLKAROO, DOG, AND BEAR!
Dog and Bear are stuffed animals are seated in chairs.
The narrator says, SOUNDS SPLENDID! BUT
WHERE'S POLKAROO?
Madison looks around. Polkaroo peaks out from behind a tree. He wears a pink top hat.
Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!
Polkaroo waves.
The narrator says, YOU'RE JUST IN TIME
TO SET THE TABLE.
Madison waves to Polkaroo.
Madison says, A TEA PARTY HAS TO BE
JUST RIGHT!
The narrator says, YES! AND EACH SPECIAL
GUEST SHOULD HAVE EXACTLY THE
SAME KIND OF DISH,
CUP, AND SPOON,
Madison says, ONE PLATE, ONE CUP,
ONE SPOON.
Madison gathers a floral plate, blue cup and a spoon.
The narrator says, ONE COMPLETE SET!
Polkaroo says, POLKAROO!
Polkaroo takes a seat at the table with Dog and Bear.
The narrator says, SO, WHEN THE FIRST
GUEST SITS HERE
THEY WILL HAVE...
Madison brings the plate, cup and spoon over to Polkaroo.
The narrator says, …ONE
PLATE, HERE, ONE SPOON, HERE
AND ONE CUP HERE.
Madison places the plate, cup and spoon on circles on a place mat.
The narrator says, NEXT, FOR THE SECOND
GUEST.
Polkaroo stands.

Polkaroo gestures for Madison to sit. He then gathers a plate a soon.
