Odo jumps into a muddy puddle with two toucans.
[Splash]
Animals sing, ODO, ODO, ODO

Odo winks.

Odo’s father says, HAVE A GREAT DAY,
LITTLE ONE.
Odo says, BYE.
Odo runs under a wooden entry. A sign with three trees on it hangs from a log. He runs to a blue bird.
Odo says, DOODLE!
Doodle says, ODO!
Odo asks, GUESS WHAT WE'RE GOING
TO DO TODAY!
Doodle syas, CAMP LEADER HASN'T
TOLD US YET.
Odo says, I KNOW.
BUT I'VE GOT A FEELING THAT
WE'RE GOING TO PLAY
SOME FOOTBALL!
Odo pretends to kick a ball.
[Grunts]
Odo says, IT'S A GOAL!
DID YOU SEE THAT?
Doodle asks, YOUR INVISIBLE BALL?
Odo nods. A soccer ball bounces off his head and he falls.
Odo says, OOF.
Doodle says, NOW, I CAN SEE IT.
OH, SORRY, ODO.
ARE YOU ALL RIGHT?
Odo asks CAN I PLAY?
PLEASE?
A swan says, I'M SURE YOU'RE
A GOOD PLAYER, BUT...
A flamingo says, IT'S A GAME FOR BIG BIRDS.
[Bouncing ball]
A bird calls, TO ME!
[Whoosh]
Camp Leader says,GOOD
MORNING, CAMPERS!
Yellow birds sing, GOOD MORNING
Camp Leader says, AS YOU KNOW, WE
BIRDS ARE ALL DIFFERENT SIZES.
SOME ARE BIG, LIKE THE SWAN,
AND SOME ARE LITTLE, LIKE ODO.
Odo says, I'M NOT SO LITTLE.
Camp Leader continues, BUT WHATEVER
OUR SIZE, WE ALL COME FROM EGGS.
[Gasping]
Camp Leader holds a wing full of rocks.
Camp Leader says, TREAT THESE ROCKS
AS IF THEY'RE REAL EGGS.
LOOK AFTER THEM. KEEP THEM SAFE.
TAKING CARE OF AN EGG
IS A VERY IMPORTANT SKILL.
Odo says, WOW.
Doodle says, COOL.
Camp Leader says, NOW, OFF YOU FLY!
[Whoosh]
Odo says, DON'T WORRY, LITTLE ROCK
EGG, I'LL LOOK AFTER YOU.
OKAY, I DID IT. NOW WHAT?
THERE MUST BE SOMETHING FUN
TO DO WITH THIS ROCK.
Odo rolls his rock past Doodle.
Odo calls, LOOK, DOODLE.
Doodle says, SHH, YOU'LL WAKE IT.
Odo says, IT'S JUST A ROCK.
A peacock says, GOOD EGG.
Odo kicks his egg and says, HUP, HUP. HUP!
Odo says, HEY, ROSIE!
I'M GOING FOR A GOAL!
HUP!
Rosie says, OH.
Odo kicks his rock into a bush. It rolls past a similarly-shaped egg.
[Rustle of bushes]
Odo says, WHOOPS.
[Grunts]
Odo says, OH! THERE IT IS.
Odo picks up the egg.
[Birds chirp]
Camp Leader says, I CAN'T WAIT
TO SEE HOW YOU'RE TAKING CARE
OF YOUR ROCK-EGGS, CAMPERS!
Doodle calls, ODO! WHERE ARE YOU?
Odo says, I'M COMING!
Odod kicks the egg on to leaves and says, HUP.
WHOA.
[Cracking]
[GASPS]
Odo says, UH-OH.
Doodle says, OH, NO! HOW DID YOU
CRACK YOUR ROCK, ODO?
Odo says, I DON'T KNOW!
Camp Leader says, PREPARE
FOR INSPECTION!
[Gasps]
Camp Leader says, OH, EXCELLENT
EGG-HANDLING, DOODLE.
WELL DONE.
Doodle says, UM, THANKS.
[Clears throat]
Odo holds a leaf over the crack in his egg.
Odo says, IT'S HAVING A LITTLE SLEEP.
Camp Leader chuckles and says, THEN
WE SHOULD BE VERY QUIET.
A pigeon says, OH, DON'T MIND ME.
JUST DELIVERING THE POST.
NO TIME FOR A CHAT.
Camp Leader says, OH, GOOD, WE
WERE JUST--
[Chuckling]
The pigeon says, OH, WELL, IF
YOU INSIST...
I SUPPOSE I HAVE TIME
FOR ONE TINY CUP OF TEA.
[Sigh]
Camp Leader says, BACK SHORTLY.
[Rustling]
Odo’s egg hatches.
[Gasping, clucking]
Birds exclaim, MAMA MIA!
A chicken asks, WHY IS A BABY BIRD
INSIDE A ROCK?
A toucan says, OH, HOW
VERY EGG-CITING!
[Laughter]
Doodle says, OH, PLEASE,
HATCH LIKE ODO'S EGG.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE.
The baby looks at Odo and asks, DADA?
[Chatter]
Odo says, IT'S ALL RIGHT!
NOTHING TO SEE HERE!
JUST A BABY BIRD
THAT, UM, CAME OUT OF A ROCK.
Doodle says, THIS ISN'T A ROCK,
ODO. IT'S A REAL EGG.
[Giggles, pecking]
Odo says, STOP PECKING ME!
WHAT DOES IT WANT?
Doodle says, IT LOOKS HUNGRY.
I'LL GO AND FIND SOME FOOD.
Odo says, AND I'LL KEEP IT... BUSY?
A flamingo says, IT'S EATING A PINECONE.
[Gasp]
Odo says, NO. A PINECONE
IS NOT FOR EATING.
IT'S FOR PLAYING. LOOK!
[Grunting]
Odo bounces the pinecone off his feet. He and the baby bird bounce it back and forth off their heads.
[Upbeat music plays]
Odo says, GREAT JOB!
NOW, WATCH THIS.
HUP, HUP, HUP.
A swan says, KICK THE BALL TO ME, ODO!
Odo says, BUT IT'S A GAME
FOR LITTLE BIRDS.
The swan says, OH.
Odo says, JUST KIDDING! HUP.
[Grunting]
The birds kick the pinecone between them.
Birds say, YEAH! AW.
The pigeon carries a teacup as he walks behind Camp Leader.
[Splash]
Camp leader says, OH.
[Gasp]
Camp Leader asks, WHAT ON EARTH
IS GOING ON HERE? WHO IS THAT?
The baby bird says, DADA!
Doodle says, I WASN'T SURE
WHAT BABY BIRDS EAT
SO I BROUGHT SOME MOSS
AND SOME LEAVES, AND...
[Gasp]
Doodle says, OH, HELLO CAMP LEADER.
UH, WOULD YOU LIKE SOME MOSS?
Camp Leader asks, ODO?
Odo asks, YES?
Camp Leader asks, DID YOU TAKE
CARE OF YOUR ROCK-EGG
AND NEVER LET IT OUT
OF YOUR SIGHT?
Odo says, YES! OH.
WELL, I DID KICK IT
INTO THE BUSHES.
BUT I FOUND IT RIGHT AWAY
AND BROUGHT IT BACK.
Camp Leader asks, WHERE, EXACTLY,
DID YOU FIND IT?
Odo says, EH, UNDER A TREE?
Camp Leader says, ODO, WHEN
YOU LOST YOUR ROCK-EGG,
YOU MUST HAVE ACCIDENTALLY
PICKED UP AN EAGLE'S EGG.
IT MUST HAVE FALLEN
FROM ITS NEST!
Odo asks, AN EAGLE'S EGG?
Doodle says, OH.
Camp Leader says, SO YOU DID NOT
DO A VERY GOOD JOB OF TAKING
CARE OF THE ROCK-EGG...
BUT YOU DID TAKE VERY GOOD CARE
OF THIS BABY EAGLE.
The baby eagle asks, DADA?
Camp Leader says, IN FACT,
THE LITTLE FELLOW
SEEMS TO THINK
YOU'RE HIS FATHER.
WE NEED TO FIND OU
WHO HE REALLY BELONGS TO.
Inspector Feathers lands and hugs the baby.
The Inspector says, EAGLET!
[Gasping]
Camp Leader says, INSPECTOR
FEATHERS, I CAN EXPLAIN.
The Inspector asks, WHO FOUND
THIS BABY EAGLE?
Odo says, UM, ME.
The Inspector asks YOU? WELL...
THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH!
THIS IS EAGLET, MY LITTLE GRAND-BIRD
AND WE THOUGHT WE'D LOST HIM.
OH THANK YOU, ODO, FOR LOOKING
AFTER HIM SO WELL.
[Squawk]
Odo says, I KNEW I COULD DO THIS!
Camp Leader says, OKAY, EVERYONE,
EAGLET NEEDS TO GO AND MEET HIS
REAL MOM AND DAD.
Odo says, WELL, MAYBE LITTLE EAGLET
COULD COME BACK FOR A VISIT?
The Inspector asks ANY TIME!
[Chirp]
Odo and Eaglet hug.
Camp Leader looks at the pinecone.
Camp Leader says, HMM.
Birds kick around pinecones.
[Chuckle, chatter]
A pinecone lands in the pigeon’s teacup.
[Splash, sigh]
[Upbeat music plays]
