Birds gather in a forest.

Odo, the owl, says,
HERE I COME!

(Bush rustles)

Odo, a small brown owl with white markings, runs past a blue bird, chickens, a peacock, and yellow birds.

Odo sings, ODO

Birds sing,
ODO, ODO, ODO

(Cluck)

Odo jumps into a muddy puddle with two toucans.

(Splash)

Odo leaps on a fallen tree trunk with Doodle, a small blue bird. Flamingos pop their heads out of the trunk.

Birds sing,
ODO, ODO, ODO

Odo jumps on a tree stump in the middle of the forest. The birds surround him.

The title reads, “Odo”.

Odo winks.

(Chimes)

The sun shines brightly on the forest. Odo reads a comic book while he sits on a tree stump. A frog sits on the stump beside him.

Text reads, “Super Owl!”.

A blue and yellow parrot with a red cape appears on the pages of Odo’s comic book.

Odo says,
UP IN THE SKY!
IS IT A BIRD?
IS IT A PLANE?
IT'S A BIRD!
MEGABEAK!
MEGABEAK ALWAYS FLIES IN AT THE
LAST MINUTE TO SAVE THE DAY!

(Ribbiting)

Odo flips the page.

He says,
WOW, THAT WAS AWESOME.

(Ribbiting)

Odo stands up.

He says,
YEAH!
I WISH I WAS A MIGHTY SUPERHERO
LIKE MEGABEAK.
I'D BE SUPER OWL, THE CAPED
WONDER OF THE BIRD WORLD!

(Ribbiting)

Odo says,
OH, I'M MEANT TO BE MEETING
DOODLE.
SUPER OWL, AWAY!

Doodle stands on a tree stump in the forest. The toucans carry a sand pail and a small shovel to her.

One of the toucans says,
HEY, DOODLE.
WE FOUND SOME SAND ON THE OTHER
SIDE OF THE CAMP.
WANT TO COME PLAY?

The other toucan says,
YEAH, WE CAN MAKE SAND
CASTLES, SAND HOUSES, AND
SANDWICHES.

(Both laughing)

Doodle replies,
SOUNDS FUN, BUT I'M WAITING
FOR ODO.

The toucans walk away from Doodle.

One of them says,
IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND, YOU
KNOW WHERE TO FIND US.

(Both laughing)

Doodle asks,
WHERE ARE YOU, ODO?

Meanwhile, the camp leader, a bald eagle with a green hat and an orange handkerchief around her neck, carries tea and biscuits out of her wood cabin at forest camp.

The camp leader says,
NOTHING BETTER THAN RELAXING
ON MY FAVOURITE BLANKET WITH A
GOOD CUP OF TEA.
NOW, TO JUST CHECK EVERYTHING IS
PERFECT.
FAVOURITE CUP, CHECK.
THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF MILK, CHECK.
ENOUGH CHOCOLATE CHIPS IN MY
CHOCOLATE CHIP BISCUIT, CHECK.

Odo runs across the forest. He stops in front of the toucans.

Odo says,
MAKE WAY, IT'S SUPER ODO!
OH, SORRY, GUYS.
I'M OFF TO MEET DOODLE.

A toucan replies,
DOODLE?
SHE'S WAITING FOR YOU AT THE
ANNOUNCEMENT STUMP.

Odo says,
THANKS, I BETTER HURRY!

A voice in the forest shouts,
HELP!
STOP, GET OFF!

Odo asks, WHAT WAS THAT?

A toucan answers,
SOUNDS LIKE A CRY FOR HELP,
AND IT WAS COMING FROM OVER
THERE!

Odo replies,
A-HA!
THIS SOUNDS LIKE A JOB FOR...
SUPER OWL!

Odo puts on a red cape.

A toucan asks, UH, WHO?

Odo says,
DUN-DUN-DUN!
THAT'LL BE ME, FOREST CAMPERS,
SUPER OWL!
THE WONDER HERO TO THE RESCUE.
WHOOSH!

Odo runs away from the toucans.

A toucan says,
SUPER OWL, THE WONDER HERO?

The other toucan replies,
LOOKS MORE LIKE ODO IN A
BLANKET TO ME.
WONDER WHERE HE GOT THAT FROM.

At the forest camp, the camp leader looks up at the sky.

She says,
WIND IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION,
CHECK.
CONDITIONS PERFECT.
TIME TO SIT DOWN.

(Gasping)

The camp leaders’ blanket is gone.

She says,
IT'S SOAKING WET!
WHERE'S MY BLANKET GONE?!
I'VE GOT A SOGGY BOTTOM!

In the forest, Odo jumps over a bush. He climbs a tree and leaps from one branch to another. Odo is perched on top of a tall tree.

The voice shouts,
WAH!
HELP, GET OFF!
STOP!

Odo climbs down the tree.

He says,
A-HA, BEHIND THIS BUSH!
DON'T FEAR, FOREST CAMPER, FOR
IT'S ME--

(Chickens laughing)

Behind a bush, chickens tickle each other with their feathers.

Odo says, ...SUPER OWL.

A chicken rolling on the grass says,
GET OFF, IT TICKLES!

(Laughing)

A chicken says,
WE'RE HAVING A TICKLE
WRESTLE, WANT TO JOIN IN, ODO?

Odo’s cape is wrapped around a branch.

Odo replies,
I DO NOT KNOW WHO THIS ODO
IS OF WHOM YOU SPEAK, FOR I AM
SUPER OWL.

Odo pulls his cape off the branch. A loose thread remains tangled.

A chicken says,
AND I'M A SUPER TICKLER.

(Chickens laughing)

The chickens tickle each other.

Odo says,
BAH!
I THOUGHT THIS WAS A REAL
EMERGENCY.

Peacock shouts, SAVE ME!

Odo says,
A-HA, NOW THIS SOUNDS LIKE
A PROPER RESCUE!
SUPER OWL, AWAY!
WHOOSH!

Odo rushes through the forest. The thread of his cape is still tied to the branch.

Meanwhile, Doodle looks upset.

She says,
UH, MAYBE I SHOULD GO AND
PLAY IN THE SAND WITH THE
TOUCANS.
ODO ISN'T COMING.

(Panting)

Odo continues to run quickly through the forest. His cape shrinks as the thread unravels.

Peacock shouts,
SAVE ME!
SAVE ME!

Odo says,
NEVER FEAR, FOREST CAMPER.
OH...

Peacock and Rosie stand beside a large chocolate cake with cherries on top.

Peacock says,
SAVE ME A PIECE OF CAKE.

Rosie hands Peacock a slice of cake.

She says,
OF COURSE WE WILL.
HERE.
HEY, ODO, WHAT'RE YOU WEARING A
BLANKET FOR?

Odo replies,
HM, ODO?
I'M NOT ODO.
I'M SUPER OWL!

Rosie and Peacock eat the cake.

Rosie says,
OF COURSE YOU ARE.
OUR MISTAKE.
SORRY, ODO.

(Both laughing)

Odo walks away from Rosie and Peacock. He passes a small pond and enters the forest.

Odo says,
ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS
PROTECT THE FOREST AND BE A
SUPERHERO.

Odo sits on a tree stump.

Doodle shouts,
WAH, HELP!
SOMEONE, SAVE ME!

Odo says,
THAT'LL BE JUST YET ANOTHER
FALSE ALARM.
NO ONE REALLY WANTS SUPER OWL.
HI, BUD.
HEY, WHAT HAPPENED TO PLAYING IN
THE SAND?

A toucan says,
OH, THAT SAND WAS TOO WET
AND STICKY.
IT WASN'T PLAY SAND AFTER ALL.

The other toucan says,
MUCH MORE LIKE WET, STICKY
SAND.

The first toucan asks,
DID YOU MEET DOODLE?

Odo jumps up.

He says,
OH, NO!
WITH ALL THE SUPER OWL ACTION
AND TRYING TO SAVE THE DAY, I
FORGOT!
I WAS MEANT TO BE MEETING HER
RIGHT HERE.
WHERE COULD SHE HAVE GONE?

Doodle shouts,
HELP, SOMEONE!
CAN I HAVE SOME HELP PLEASE?!

Odo says,
THAT'S DOODLE'S VOICE.
SHE'S IN TROUBLE!

A toucan replies,
IT'S COMING FROM THE
DIRECTION OF--

(Gasping)

The toucan continues,
--THE STICKY SAND.

The thread of Odo’s cape wraps around the tree trunk.

Odo says,
THIS TIME, IT REALLY DOES
SOUND LIKE A JOB FOR SUPER OWL!

Meanwhile, Doodle is trapped in sand.

She says,
AH, I'M STUCK!
THIS SAND IS SO WET AND STICKY,
I'LL NEVER GET OUT.

Odo rushes to Doodle. His cape is one long thread that stretches across the forest.

Odo says,
DUN-DUN-DUN!
OF COURSE YOU WILL, LITTLE BIRD,
WITH MY HELP.

Doodle replies, ODO, IT'S YOU.

Odo says,
NO, NOT ODO, I'M SUPER OWL.
SEE MY MAGNIFICENT, SWOOSHING
CAPE?
SWOOSH!
OH, NO, MY SUPER CAPE.

The thread of the cape tangles around Odo’s body.

Doodle says,
OH, ODO, WHEN YOU DIDN'T
COME I WENT TO FIND THE TOUCANS,
BUT I GOT STUCK IN THE SAND.

Odo replies,
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO,
DOODLE.
SUPER OWL COULD HELP, BUT
WITHOUT MY CAPE, I'M JUST PLAIN
OLD ODO.
HOW CAN I REACH YOU WITHOUT
GETTING STUCK, TOO?

(Gasping)

Odo looks at the thread.

He says,
WAIT A SECOND, DOODLE.
I THINK I'VE GOT IT.
HANG ON THERE.

Odo pulls on the thread. It untangles from the branch.

Doodle says, PLEASE HURRY.

The thread travels past Rosie and Flamingo.

Flamingo says, AH?

Rosie adds, HUH?

(Chuckling)

The toucans laugh in the forest.

A toucan says,
SANDWICHES, THAT WAS
HILARIOUS.

The end of the thread travels past the toucans.

The other toucan says, EH?

Meanwhile, the camp leader is about to take a bite of a biscuit.

(Gasping)

The thread travels under her feet.

The camp leader says,
THAT THREAD, IT'S THE SAME
COLOUR AS MY BLANKET.
SO, THAT'S WHERE IT'S GONE.
COME BACK, BLANKET!

The camp leader chases the thread.

Meanwhile, Odo ties the thread to a tree branch above Doodle.

Odo says,
LOOK OUT, DOODLE, HERE I
COME!

Odo gets ready to swing.

Doodle says,
OH, DO YOU THINK YOU CAN?

Odo answers, I KNOW I CAN!

(Grunting)

Odo swings over the sand and grabs Doodle.

He says, WHOA!

Doodle says,
ODO, YOU'RE FLYING!
HOW SUPER.

(Clearing throat)

Doodle hugs Odo. The camp leader and the other camper approach them. The camp leader looks upset. Odo balls up the thread and hands it to her.

He says,
UM, I'M REALLY SORRY, BUT I
THINK THIS MIGHT BE YOURS, CAMP
LEADER.

The camp leader replies,
MY GOOD BLANKET.
YOU REALLY SHOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN
IT WITHOUT ASKING, ODO.

Odo says,
SORRY, AND SORRY I WAS LATE
MEETING YOU, DOODLE.
I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU AGAIN.

Odo hugs Doodle.

A chicken says,
WOW, ODO!
THAT WAS AMAZING.

Doodle adds,
YEAH, WHO NEEDS A CAPE?
ODO, YOU'RE A REAL SUPER OWL.

(Cheering)

Later, the camp leader makes a fence around the sand with sticks and her thread.

(Munching)

The camp leader eats a cookie.
