All singing, ODO! ODO! ODO! ODO!
Odo stands on a stump. Birds fill the forest.
All singing, ODO! ODO! ODO! ODO!
A title reads: ODO
Odo winks.
[Chimes]
[Music playing]
Birds hang bunting between trees.
[Chattering]
An episode title reads: Bad Apple
Birds set up wooden tables and a stage in a clearing in the forest.
[Chattering]
The camp leader, a bald eagle in a hat, honks a horn.
[Honks]
The birds look over. Chickens stack baskets of apples on top of each other, then run over to the Camp Leader.
[Gasps]
Camp Leader says, GOOD MORNING, CAMPERS! TODAY IS A VERY SPECIAL DAY. OUR ANNUAL APPLE FESTIVAL!
[All cheer]
Camp Leader says, THERE WILL BE LOTS OF DELICIOUS DRIED APPLE CHIPS.
Odo and Doodle say, YES!
Camp Leader continues, FRESHLY SQUISHED APPLE JUICE AND AN APPLE-BOBBING COMPETITION WITH A DELICIOUS APPLE PIE FOR THE WINNER.
Doodle asks, ODO, WHAT IS APPLE BOBBING?
Odo says, I DON'T KNOW. BUT IF IT'S A COMPETITION, I'M SURE WE'LL WIN.
Odo spins Doodle, a small blue bird, around.
Camp Leader says, WHY DON'T YOU TWO GO AND CHECK ON THE FIRST BATCH OF JUICY APPLES?
Odo and Doodle run off.
[Birdsong]
Odo says, WE'LL HAVE A SLICE OF PIE EACH FOR LUNCH. AND TWO SLICES EACH FOR TEA. HUH?
A red fox runs through the bushes.
[BARKS]
Odo calls, REGGIE?
Doodle hides behind Odo.
Odo says, DOODLE. IT'S JUST REGGIE.
[Birds gasp]
The stack of baskets has fallen, scattering apples on the ground.
Camp Leader says, OH, DEAR. BRUISED APPLES.
A red chicken says, BRUISED APPLES? BUT WITHOUT APPLES, ALL WE HAVE IS A FESTIVAL!
[Squawking]
Camp Leader says, CALM DOWN, CAMPERS. WE CAN USE THE BRUISED APPLES FOR JUICE.
Odo and Doodle walk over.
Odo says, BRUISED APPLES? I WONDER IF REGGIE SAW WHAT—
A goose asks, REGGIE? THE FOX?
A parrot says, THE FOX BRUISED THE APPLES?
Odo says, NO. REGGIE WOULD NEVER DO A THING LIKE THAT. HE'S MY FRIEND.
The goose says, NEVER TRUST A CREATURE WITH FUR INSTEAD OF FEATHERS.
Louie says, YEAH, THEY'RE FUR-EVER GETTING INTO TROUBLE.
[Toucans laughing]
Odo says, THAT'S NOT FAIR. OR TRUE!
Doodle says, MICHAEL THE MOUSE HAS FUR AND WE ALL TRUST HIM.
A red bird says, MAYBE IT WAS MICHAEL?
Doodle says, BUT HE'S TOO SMALL TO EVEN LIFT AN APPLE.
A peacock says, THEN IT MUST HAVE BEEN REGGIE.
[Clears throat]
Camp Leader says, LET'S NOT BE QUICK TO JUDGE OTHERS. THE BRUISED APPLES COULD SIMPLY BE AN ACCIDENT. NOW, LET'S GET THIS CAMP TIDIED UP AND READY FOR THE FESTIVAL.
[Music playing]
Odo and a flamingo sweep leaves with brooms. The peacock sleeps on a tree branch.
[Snoring]
[Breeze swooshes]
Doodle chases leaves that blow out of a basket.
Reggie calls, LOOK OUT!
[Gasps]
Doodle looks up and runs.
[Branch cracking]
The peacock falls to the ground.
[Gasps, grunts]
The peacock says, TOTALLY FINE, GUYS. LANDED ON MY FEET.
He spits out leaves.
[Sputters]
The peacock says, NO...PROBLEM.
Reggie runs by Odo.
[Barking]
Odo calls, REGGIE!
The flamingo says, REGGIE? THE FOX? ODO SAW REGGIE!
Odo says, YES BUT—
[Music playing]
Bird singing, WHEN THE BRANCHES FALL AND THE PEACOCK SQUAWKS, BLAME IT ON THE NAUGHTY FOX--
Odo says, HEY! THAT'S NOT--
Birds chattering, HE SAW THE FOX! HE SAW THE FOX! IT MUST BE TRUE. REGGIE DID IT.
[Thunder crashes]
Rain falls and everyone runs.
[Panting]
Doodle and Odo run under a table. Reggie is there.
Odo says, REGGIE!
Reggie says, HI, ODO AND DOODLE.
Odo asks, REGGIE, HAVE YOU--?
Reggie says, HAVE I WHAT?
Odo says, SOME THINGS HAVE BEEN HAPPENING IN CAMP AND I THINK YOU SHOULD COME TO THE APPLE FESTIVAL. THEN EVERYONE WILL SEE HOW GREAT YOU REALLY ARE.
Reggie says, THANKS, ODO. I'D LOVE TO. BUT I'M NOT SURE I'D BE VERY WELCOME.
Odo says, I'M GOING BE THE APPLE-BOBBING CHAMPION, YOU KNOW.
Two flamingos peek out from under a tree. The rain stops.
Bud and Louie land on a table and stare at a bowl filled with water.
Bud says, SOMEONE LEFT THE DRIED APPLE CHIPS OUT IN THE RAIN.
Louie says, WET DRIED APPLE? WHAT A TERRIBLE IDEA.
[Both laugh]
Shirley, a brown chicken, points at Reggie.
Shirley cries, FOX!
[All squawking]
Odo looks around. Reggie is gone.
Odo says, REGGIE?
Shirley cries, THIS IS ALL REGGIE'S FAULT!
Odo says, STOP IT! THAT'S NOT FAIR. YOU CAN'T BLAME REGGIE FOR THE RAIN. HOW COULD ALL THESE THINGS BE REGGIE'S FAULT? HE DIDN'T MAKE IT RAIN! HE DIDN'T MAKE THE BRANCH BREAK! IT'S NOT FAIR TO BLAME HIM JUST BECAUSE HE'S DIFFERENT. ALL OF US ARE DIFFERENT. SOME OF US ARE BIG. SOME OF US ARE SMALL. SOME OF US ARE IN THE MIDDLE. SOME HAVE FEATHERS AND SOME HAVE FUR. BUT WE'RE ALL FRIENDS. AND REGGIE IS A FRIENDLY FOX. HE COULDN'T HAVE DONE ALL THESE THINGS. THEY WERE PROBABLY ACCIDENTS.
Odo jumps up on the stage. Reggie peeks out from the side of the stage.
Reggie says, HELLO.
The birds cry, FOX!
Camp Leader says, HOLD ONTO YOUR FEATHERS, EVERYONE. REGGIE IS JUST SAYING HELLO. AS ODO SAYS, HE'S A FRIENDLY FOX.
Louie asks, BUT HOW COME HE WAS AROUND EVERY TIME SOMETHING WENT WRONG?
Reggie says, I'VE JUST NEVER BEEN TO THE APPLE FESTIVAL BEFORE. AND I WANTED TO HELP SAVE YOUR APPLES. I PICKED MORE APPLES WHEN SOME GOT BRUISED. I CALLED OUT WHEN THE BRANCH WAS BREAKING.
In a flashback Reggie stares up at the peacock.
Reggie calls, LOOK OUT!
Present day Reggie says, AND I MANAGED TO GET MOST OF THE APPLE CHIPS OUT OF THE RAIN.
Reggie carries a bowl of apple chips. Camp Leader takes the bowl.
Camp Leader says, WE WOULDN'T HAVE HAD ANY APPLE CHIPS FOR THE FESTIVAL IF REGGIE HADN'T SAVED A BUNCH JUST IN TIME.
[Birds gasp]
Odo says, REGGIE SAVED THE APPLE FESTIVAL ALL BY HIMSELF.
Reggie smiles.
Odo asks, BUT WHY HAVE YOU NEVER BEEN TO THE APPLE FESTIVAL BEFORE, REGGIE?
Reggie says, BECAUSE NO ONE EVER INVITED ME.
Odo says, says, I'LL INVITE YOU.
Doodle says, ME TOO.
Camp Leader says, I'M SURE THAT'S HOW ALL OF US FEEL, ISN'T IT, CAMPERS?
The birds say, MM-HM.
A goose says, PLEASE COME TO THE FESTIVAL. AFTER ALL, THERE WOULDN'T BE A FESTIVAL IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU.
Reggie says, OH.
[Music playing]
The toucans juggle apples onstage. Birds clap. Camp Leader pours Reggie a glass of apple juice. The chickens throw apple chips to each other and catch them in their beaks.
[All chuckle]
The goose makes a pyramid of apples. They fall and he turns to Reggie. Reggie shrugs.
[All laugh]
Camp Leader says, IT IS TIME FOR THE APPLE-BOBBING COMPETITION WITH DELICIOUS APPLE PIE FOR THE WINNER! PICK AN APPLE FROM THE BARREL BUT ONLY WITH YOUR BEAK!
[Birds squawking]
Hummingbirds peck at apples in the barrel. The chickens walk to the barrel. Shirley bursts out of the water.
[Squawking]
Two flamingos try to bob for apples. One flamingo falls over.
[Splashing]
Odo stands at the barrel.
Odo says, HMM.
Odo tries to peck at the apples, but they float away. He jumps on the barrel and it wobbles.
[Odo splashes]
Odo cries, WHOA!
An apple rolls out of the barrel. Odo lands on the ground in a puddle. Reggie picks up the fallen apple and sets it by Odo. Odo shakes off his feathers and looks around.
Odo cries, I GOT ONE! AM I THE CHAMPION?
Reggie says, I THINK YOU'RE PRETTY CHAMPION.
[Laughing]
