has colourful animals on it.
The young girl adds,
“SHE'S RELAXING IN A COLOURFUL
PLAY POD.”
Spinning toys and buttons are on the
play pod.
The young girl asks,
“SHE'S REALLY CALM,
ISN'T SHE?”
Jade stares up into the sky.
The young girl says,
“SHE'S LOOKING AROUND
AT THE GREEN GRASS.”
Blades of grass sway in the wind.
The young girl adds,
“THE BLUE SKY.”
Puffy white clouds float over tall trees.
The young girl says,
“AND THE BRIGHT
COLOURED FLOWERS.”
Red and yellow flowers grow on a lawn.
Jade continues to look around from
her play pod.Toy figures raise and lower
on colourful platforms.
The young girl lays a case on a table
outside. She sits down and opens it.
The young girl says,
“WHAT DO I HAVE HERE?
THIS IS A RED HAT.”
She puts on a red baseball hat.
The young girl says,
“THIS IS AN ORANGE ORANGE.”
She puts an orange down on the table.
The young girl pulls a toy car out of
the case.
She says,
“A YELLOW CAR.”
The young girl rolls the car across
the table.
The young girl says,
“THIS IS A GREEN FROG.”
She lays a stuffed green frog toy down
on the table.
The young girl continues,
“THIS IS A BLUE SHOVEL.”
She puts the shovel down beside
the frog
The young girl says,
“THIS IS A PURPLE BALLOON.”
A balloon floats over the table.
The young girl adds,
“NOW YOU SEE RED, ORANGE,
YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE,
AND PURPLE.
ALL THE COLOURS
OF THE RAINBOW.”
She grabs the purple balloon
and leaves the table.
The young girl says,
“WHEN I THINK OF THINGS
THAT ARE COLOURFUL,
I THINK OF A RAINBOW.
A rainbow shines on a cloudy day
The young girl continues,
“CRAYONS.”
A toucan is perched on a branch.
The young girl says,
“AND A BIRD.
THIS IS A TOUCAN.”
The young girl lays with a baby outside.
She says, “HI BABY.”
FREDDY AND I ARE HAVING
SOME QUIET TIME OUTSIDE.”
Freddie puts a toy in his mouth.
He wriggles around on his stomach and puts
the toy back in his mouth.
The young girl says,
“HE SURE LOVES TUMMY TIME.
BUNNY.
AND PLAYING WITH
HIS COLOURFUL TOYS.”
The young girl holds a stuffed orange
bunny rabbit in front of Freddie.
The young girl puts her arm around Freddie
and lies down.
She asks,
“DID YOU KNOW A NEWBORN BABY
DOESN'T SEE ANY COLOUR AT ALL?”
Freddie stares at his toy. The young girl
rubs his head.
She adds, “BABIES ARE DRAWN TO
BLACK AND WHITE PATTERNS AND
BOLD COLOURS.”
Freddie puts another toy in his mouth.
The young girl smiles.
A blue half-circle shaped block grows into a
colourful rainbow.
A blonde-haired boy plays with blocks
on the table outside.
The young girl says,
“WAYLON IS HAVING FUN SORTING
HIS BLOCKS BY COLOUR.
HE HAS ALL THE COLOURS
OF THE RAINBOW.”
Waylon makes piles of yellow, green, blue,
and purple blocks.
He says, “RED HERE.
ORANGE.
AND BLUE, BLUE HERE.
PURPLE.
IT'S YELLOW.
YEAH.
I DID IT!
ALL THE COLOURS OF THE RAINBOW.”
The young girl says,
“WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE COLOUR?
KIT LOVES THE COLOUR PINK.”
Kit wears a pink tutu.
The young girl continues,
“OLIVER LOVES BLUE.
Oliver sits on a blue swing.
The young girl adds,
IBRAHIM LOVES YELLOW.”
Ibrahim plays with a yellow toy car.
The young girl holds a toddler.
She says, “HEY.
OKAY.”
The young girl rides a bee car across
a lawn.
She says, “TODAY, MY FAVOURITE
COLOUR IS RED.”
The young girl and the toddler wear
matching red and black polka dot outfits.
The young girl says,
“YOU WANT TO SIT ON HERE?
SIT?
THIS CHANGES DEPENDING
ON HOW I FEEL?”
The toddler looks unsure as she looks
at the bee car. She walks away from
the young girl.
The young girl asks,

WHAT WE'RE DRESSED AS?”
The young girl feeds the toddler.

“THAT'S RIGHT, LADYBUGS.”
The toddler eats more.
The young girl adds,
