Kit dumps pieces out of the box and throws the box to the side. Pup looks at a piece of paper.
[Rattle, slide whistle, rustling paper]
Pup points and instructs Kit on how to put together the chair.
Kit says, TAH-DAH!
The upside down chair falls apart.
[Creaking, thump, rustle]
A boy with short brown hair touches a block of wood.
The narrator says, WOOD!
Animated yellow stars fall.
[Chimes, slide whistle]
Pup and Kit dance.
The narrator says, LET'S INVESTIGATE!
LET'S EXPLORE! TELL US ABOUT WOOD, PUP!
WHAT SHOULD WE LOOK FOR?
Pup stands beside a long stack of chopped wood. He dances hapilly.
The narrator says, WOOD COMES FROM TREES!
[Pop]
Hands sand a guitar. Pup dances.
[Scraping]

[Pop]
A hand paints a small wooden crate grey.
The narrator says, WOOD CAN BE PAINTED.

[Chimes, cheering]

Kit dances beside a wooden elephant on a string.

Kit stomps on a table.
[Thump, thump, thump]

Kit stomps on the arm of a bench. He dances happily.
[Tap, tap]
The narrator says, THIS BENCH IS MADE OF WOOD.
WHAT WOODEN THINGS DID KIT SEE?
A WOODEN TOY. A WOODEN TABLE.
AND A WOODEN BENCH.
[Cheering]
Kit and Pup dance.
A stack of twenty-four plain wooden blocks turns and reveals a picture of a bright yellow ship.
[Ship horn]
An animated yellow submarine sails under the surface of a small lake. A sailboat float on the surface of the lake, close to a wooden jetty. A purple and white hot air balloon sails past purple and pink mountains.
The narrator says, CAN YOU SEE THE WOODEN
JETTY? THERE IT IS!
A small child waves from on top of the small jetty.
Kit holds the instructions as Pup tries to put together the chair.
[Rustle, crash, whoosh]
The narrator says, LET'S INVESTIGATE!
Kit and Pup wave flags and dance happily.
[Cheering]
A girl with curly dark brown hair sits beside a pink blanket. D-shaped pieces of wood are spread across the blanket.
The narrator says, TAKE A LOOK AT THESE
PIECES OF WOOD.
WHICH PIECE OF WOOD IS THE
LIGHTEST COLOUR?
The girl points to a piece of wood and places it on a small red table beside her.
The narrator says, YES!

[Cheering]

The girl points to a stick.

Pup uses a measuring tape to measure pieces of wood. Pup give Kit two matching pieces of wood as Kit puts the chair together.
[Creak]
They sit on the chair together and wave.
