Gran Gran sets a cookbook on a kitchen table.
Gran Gran says, HERE IT IS. ST. LUCIAN CALLALOO SOUP! IT'S ONE OF MY FAVOURITE DISHES. GREAT GRAN GRAN USED TO MAKE IT WHEN I WAS YOUR AGE, TO WARM MY TUMMY!
Gran Gran tickles JoJo.
(Giggling)
A tablet on the table lights up.

Gran Gran says, AH.

Cynthia walks outside, carrying a shovel and a small sack. She wears blue overalls over a red shirt.
Cynthia says, HELLO THERE, JOJO. HI, GRAN GRAN! I'M JUST OFF TO THE ALLOTMENT. IT'S WHERE I GROW MY VEGETABLES.
JoJo says, GROW YOUR VEGETABLES? WE'RE GOING TO JARED'S SHOP TO BUY OUR VEGETABLES.
Gran Gran says, WELL, BEFORE THOSE VEGETABLES ARRIVE IN JARED'S SHOP, THEY HAVE TO BE GROWN SOMEWHERE, JOJO.

Cynthia says, AHH, WE HAVEN'T HARVESTED THEM YET. WE HARVEST VEGETABLES BY DIGGING.
Cynthia digs up sweet potatoes. She goes to another plot and pulls onions.
Cynthia says, AND PULLING. THERE! AND CLIPPING.
She snips off sprigs of thyme.
(Humming cheerfully)
Gran Gran asks, ARE YOU READY TO HARVEST VEGETABLES FOR OUR SOUP, JOJO?
JoJo cries, YEAH!
(Music playing)
Gran Gran kneels in the garden. She gives JoJo two sweet potatoes. JoJo puts them in the sack. JoJo bends down to tug at an onion. Gran Gran and Cynthia help her pull.
Cynthia gives JoJo a handful of thyme.
Cynthia and JoJo’s sacks are full.
JoJo says, HARVESTING VEGETABLES IS HARD WORK, CYNTHIA.
Cynthia says, IT SURE IS, JOJO, BUT IT'S WORTH IT. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE USING THE VEGETABLES TO MAKE SOUP.
Gran Gran says, SOUP THAT WARMS YOUR TUMMY!
Gran Gran tickles JoJo.
(Giggling)
Cynthia says, OH, YES, THAT DOES SOUND GOOD.

Jared waves as a van pulls away from his store.

JoJo and Gran Gran walk toward Jared. Cynthia follows them.

JoJo says, YES, WE HARVESTED OUR OWN AT CYNTHIA'S ALLOTMENT.

Gran Gran asks, HOW ABOUT THE BURST PIPE? IS EVERYTHING OKAY?
Jared says, ALL FIXED.
Gran Gran says, OH, GOOD! BECAUSE WE'RE ALL HAVING CALLALOO SOUP.
Jared says, WE ARE?
Gran Gran says, YES! NO IFS OR BUTS. SHUT THE SHOP AND BRING SOME FLOUR. YOU CAN MAKE THE DUMPLINGS.
Jared hurries to the door of the shop.
Jared says, HA-HA, YES, GRAN GRAN!
A big bowl of soup is on the kitchen table.
(Slurping)
JoJo and the others sit at the table, each with their own bowl of soup.

Cynthia says, SCRUMPTIOUS! THANKS, JOJO!

Gran Gran picks up the tablet.

JoJo says, WE'RE MAKING CALLALOO SOUP, SO WE NEED...
Gran Gran says, SWEET POTATOES, ONIONS AND A SPRIG OF...
JoJo says, THYME!
Cynthia says, YOU'RE IN LUCK! I'VE GROWN ALL THREE.
JoJo looks in the cookbook and glances around.
JoJo asks, BUT WHERE ARE THEY?
Cynthia says, AHH, WE HAVEN'T HARVESTED THEM YET. WE HARVEST VEGETABLES BY DIGGING.
Cynthia digs up sweet potatoes. She goes to another plot and pulls onions.
Cynthia says, AND PULLING. THERE! AND CLIPPING.
She snips off sprigs of thyme.
(Humming cheerfully)
Gran Gran asks, ARE YOU READY TO HARVEST VEGETABLES FOR OUR SOUP, JOJO?
JoJo cries, YEAH!
(Music playing)
Gran Gran kneels in the garden. She gives JoJo two sweet potatoes. JoJo puts them in the sack. JoJo bends down to tug at an onion. Gran Gran and Cynthia help her pull.
Cynthia gives JoJo a handful of thyme.
Cynthia and JoJo’s sacks are full.
JoJo says, HARVESTING VEGETABLES IS HARD WORK, CYNTHIA.
Cynthia says, IT SURE IS, JOJO, BUT IT'S WORTH IT. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU'RE USING THE VEGETABLES TO MAKE SOUP.
Gran Gran says, SOUP THAT WARMS YOUR TUMMY!
Gran Gran tickles JoJo.
(Giggling)
Cynthia says, OH, YES, THAT DOES SOUND GOOD.
Gran Gran says, WOULD YOU LIKE TO COME OVER FOR A BOWL, CYNTHIA? OUR WAY OF SAYING THANK YOU.
Cynthia says, OH, YES PLEASE, GRAN GRAN, THAT WOULD BE LOVELY.
(Music playing)
Jared waves as a van pulls away from his store.
JoJo calls, JARED!
JoJo and Gran Gran walk toward Jared. Cynthia follows them.
Jared says, HEY, JOJO, GRAN GRAN, CYNTHIA! DID YOU TWO MANAGE TO GET YOUR VEGETABLES?
JoJo says, YES, WE HARVESTED OUR OWN AT CYNTHIA'S ALLOTMENT.
Jared says, AHH, NICE WORK, JOJO.
Gran Gran asks, HOW ABOUT THE BURST PIPE? IS EVERYTHING OKAY?
Jared says, ALL FIXED.
Gran Gran says, OH, GOOD! BECAUSE WE'RE ALL HAVING CALLALOO SOUP.
Jared says, WE ARE?
Gran Gran says, YES! NO IFS OR BUTS. SHUT THE SHOP AND BRING SOME FLOUR. YOU CAN MAKE THE DUMPLINGS.
Jared hurries to the door of the shop.
Jared says, HA-HA, YES, GRAN GRAN!
A big bowl of soup is on the kitchen table.
(Slurping)
JoJo and the others sit at the table, each with their own bowl of soup.
All says, MMM... MMM-MMM-MMM.
Cynthia says, SCRUMPTIOUS! THANKS, JOJO!
(Ringtone playing)
Gran Gran says, AH!
Gran Gran picks up the tablet.
JoJo says, GREAT GRAN GRAN!
Gran Gran says, HELLO, MAMA!
Great Gran Gran says, JOJO, MY LITTLE SUNSHINE! DID YOU COOK THE CALLALOO SOUP?
JoJo says, YES, AND WE HARVESTED OUR OWN VEGETABLES TOO.
Great Gran Gran says, > OH-HO, DELICIOUS!
JoJo says, WE HARVESTED SWEET POTATOES, ONIONS AND A SPRIG OF THYME!
Great Gran Gran asks, DID YOU ADD THE SPECIAL INGREDIENT?
(Gasping)
JoJo says, GRAN GRAN, WE FORGOT THE SPECIAL INGREDIENT!
Gran Gran says, BUT WE DIDN'T, JOJO. THE SPECIAL INGREDIENT IS... LOVE!
(Gasping)
Everyone eats soup.
(Slurping)
(Giggling)
(Music playing)
Two children and an adult walk to a garden. One child has long brown hair and wears a red jacket. The child with short blonde hair wears a blue jacket.
The child in red says, WE'RE GOING TO DO SOME HARVESTING AT THE ALLOTMENT.
The blonde-haired child says, AN ALLOTMENT IS WHERE YOU GROW YOUR FRUIT AND VEGETABLES. THESE VEGETABLES HAVE BEEN GROWN FOR A LONG TIME. BEETROOT.
Rows of vegetables grow.
The child in red says, THESE BEETROOTS ARE FULLY GROWN.
The blonde-haired child digs around the beets with a trowel.
The adult says, WELL DONE!
(Grunting)
(Giggling)
The blonde-haired child holds up a large beet.
The adult says, WOW, WELL DONE! OH, WOW, THERE'S THREE THERE.
The child in red pulls up more beets.
(Laughing)
The adult says, LOOK AT THOSE. LET'S GO, COME ON.
The child in red says, OKAY. THIS IS LOTS OF BEETROOT.
The adult says, LOTS OF BEETROOTS. CAN YOU SEE THE BEANS?
Long beans grow on a vine.
The child in red says, YEP.
The adult asks, WHAT COLOUR ARE THEY?
The child in red says, GREEN!
The adult says, GREEN.
(Music playing)
The children pick beans.
The adult says, THINK WE'VE GOT ENOUGH BEANS NOW? SHALL WE FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO PICK?
The children say, OKAY!
The blonde-haired child says, CARROTS!
The adult says, YEAH, WHAT SHALL WE DO WITH THEM?
The child in red says, UHH... EAT THEM FOR SNACKS.
The blonde-haired child says, THESE CARROTS STARTED AS TINY SEEDS. THIS VEGETABLE IS A CUCUMBER. CUCUMBERS GROW TO LOTS OF DIFFERENT SIZES.
The children pick cucumbers.
The child in red says, THIS ONE!
The blonde-haired child says, IT'S TINY.
The adult says, TINY CUCUMBER.
The blonde-haired child says, BABY.
The child in red says, MEDIUM CUCUMBER.
The adult says, RIGHT, I'LL GO AND WASH THESE VEGGIES READY FOR OUR SNACK.
The child in red says, LET'S GO.
The adult turns on an outdoor tap and rinses carrots and cucumbers. The children wear gloves and pick tomatoes. They pull up an onion.
(Grunting)
The adult calls, SNACK'S READY, KIDS. HAVE YOU WASHED YOUR HANDS?
The children say, YEAH!
They sit on stools around a small table.
The adult says, THERE WE GO, CARROTS.
They munch on carrots.
The child in red says, DIGGING UP VEGETABLES IS BRILLIANT.
The blonde-haired child gives a thumbs-up.
The adult asks, SHALL WE TRY SOME CUCUMBER?
The child in red says, YOU JUST HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THEY ARE FULLY GROWN AND READY TO EAT.
(Music playing)
JoJo and Gran Gran sit on a couch in the living room.
JoJo says, I LIKED HARVESTING OUR OWN VEGETABLES, GRAN GRAN.
Gran Gran says, ME TOO, JOJO.
JoJo asks, NEXT TIME WE DO COOKING, CAN WE HARVEST MORE VEGETABLES?
Gran Gran says, WE'LL HAVE TO GROW THEM FIRST.
(Giggling)
JoJo says, I LOVE YOU, GRAN GRAN.
Gran Gran says, I LOVE YOU TOO, JOJO.
(Music playing)
