(Whistling music)
In a montage, Pins and Nettie explore and experience new activities together. Pins and Nettie join a birthday party with other hedgehogs. Pins and Nettie laugh together. They hop behind a bird on a sunny day. Nettie jumps in a puddle on a sidewalk. Pins and Nettie splash in splash in a puddle in the rain.

Outside their home, Pins and Nettie smile. They start to walk away.
A female narrator says, HI, NETTIE!
HI, PINS!
Pins and Nettie stop. Nettie turns to face Pins and they both wave and squeak.
The narrator asks, WHERE ARE YOU OFF TO?
Pins and Nettie squeak. Pins grins.
The narrator says, OH, YOU’RE GOING FOR A WALK?
Pins and Nettie nod and squeak.
The narrator says, WELL, IT’S A PERFECT DAY FOR A
NICE LONG WALK.
Nettie waves a paw and squeaks.
The narrator says, DO I WANT TO COME WITH YOU?
Pins and Nettie squeak.
The narrator says, I’D LOVE TO!
THANKS FOR THE INVITE!
Pins and Nettie squeak happily. They jump up and down.
The narrator says, LEAD THE WAY.
Pins and Nettie hop away. In a neighbourhood, they walk down a sidewalk in front of a store selling fruits and vegetables.
The narrator says, I LOVE GOING FOR WALKS IN THE
NEIGHBOURHOOD.
YOU NEVER KNOW WHO YOU’LL RUN
INTO!
A bird wearing glasses lands in front of Pins and Nettie. Pins and Nettie squeak.
The narrator says, OR FLY INTO!
The bird chirps.
The narrator says, OH, HI THERE, BIRDIE!
Nettie squeaks and waves. The bird chirps and waves back. Pins and Nettie squeak. The bird flies away.
The narrator says, BYE-BYE, BIRDIE!
Pins and Nettie wave good-bye and keep walking. They stop when they meet a snail slowly moving down the sidewalk. Pins squeaks and waves.
The narrator says, HELLO, SNAIL!
The snail waves.
The narrator says, LOVELY DAY FOR A STROLL, ISN’T
IT?
The snail smiles. The snail keeps moving down the sidewalk. Nettie squeaks and she and Pins jump out of the way of the snail. Pins and Nettie wave to the snail.
The narrator says, SORRY TO SEE YOU RUSH OFF.
BYE, SNAIL!
The snail waves to Pins and Nettie. They squeak.
The narrator says, WELL, IT CERTAINTLY IS NICE TO
SEE SO MANY OF YOUR FRIENDS.
ISN’T IT, PINS AND NETTIE?
Pins and Nettie continue their walk down the sidewalk. They smile.
The narrator says, I WONDER WHO WE’LL RUN INTO
NEXT.
(Dog barking)
A shadow behind a blue gate jumps. Pins and Nettie look scared.
(Sniffing)
The narrator says, OH MY!
Pins and Nettie curl up into balls.
(Barking)
(Sniffing)
A shadow of a tail wags. Eyes peak out of Pins and Nettie’s curled up selves. They look scared and start to roll away.
The narrator says, OH, WAIT!
NETTIE AND PINS, DON’T GO!
WE WERE HAVING SUCH A NICE TIME.
Pins and Nettie look nervous.
The narrator asks, DOES THE BARKING MAKE YOU
NERVOUS?
(Barking)
Pins and Nettie shake. Their curled up selves nod.
The narrator says, I UNDERSTAND.
IT DID SEEM TO COME OUT OF
NOWHERE, DIDN’T IT?
Pins and Nettie nod.
The narrator says, HMM…
I THINK IT’S COMING FROM BEHIND
THAT GATE.
Pins and Nettie look at the gate.
The narrator says, HELLO?
WHO’S THERE?
(Barking)
The narrator says, PINS, NETTIE, I THINK THERE’S A
DOG BEHIND THE GATE.
Pins and Nettie look up at the gate.
The narrator says, EXCUSE ME, BUT…
ARE YOU A DOG, BY ANY CHANGE?
(Barking happily)
The shadow of the dog jumps up and down and it’s tail wags.
The narrator says, HAH-HAH, I KNEW YOU WERE A DOG!
The dog pants.
The narrator says, AND A RATHER FRIENDLY ONE, BY
THE SOUND OF IT.
The dog barks.
The narrator asks, WHAT DO YOU THINK, PINS AND
NETTIE?
DO YOU FEEL ANY BETTER NOW THAT
YOU KNOW THE NOISE IS BEING MADE
BY A DOG?
Pins and Nettie uncurl themselves and smile. They squeak.
The narrator says OH, GOOD.
I DON’T THINK THE DOGGIE WAS
TRYING TO SCARE YOU.
Pins and Nettie look up at the gate. Pins squeaks and the dog barks happily. Nettie imitates the dogs barks. The narrator laughs.
The narrator asks, ARE YOU TRYING TO BARK LIKE A
DOG NOW TOO, NETTIE?
Pins and Nettie laugh. Nettie barks like a dog. She jumps up and down. The dog barks back and jumps up and down. Nettie imitates barking and jumps around the sidewalk. Pins squeaks in laughter. He imitates barking and jumps around. The dog barks and jumps around and Pins squeaks. Pins and Nettie bark and jump together.
The narrator says, BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK!
She chuckles. Pins and Nettie look confused.
The narrator asks, WHAT?
DOESN’T EVERYONE BARK NOW?
Pins and Nettie squeak in laughter.
The narrator says, BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK!
The dog barks. Pins and Nettie bark and jump up and down.

The narrator says, BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK, BARK!
She chuckles. Pins and Nettie look confused.
