Different animal friends cheer and giggle as they build and decorate a world together. They put together a title on a cloud. Giant panda Momolu adds the letter M to the title that reads, TVOKids Presents Momolu And Friends.
Birds chirp as Momolu and his animal friends Nooni the fox, Bani the rabbit, Huhu the owl, Hiko the badger and DJ Bass the Bear wave.
Together they cheer, YAY!
Momolu announces, BIG BRAVE GRIZZLY BEAR!
Flags wave on a pole in the centre of a circus tent. Large speakers are on either side of the entrance.
Huhu says, AND THE BIG, BRAVE GRIZZLY
BEAR ASKED THE QUEEN BEE,
"MAY I HAVE SOME HONEY FOR
MY RUMBLY TUMMY?"
She speaks on a stage. Nooni, Momolu and Banni watch. They look amazed. Banni gasps and hides behind Momolu.
Huhu says, AND THE BEE SAID, "THIS HONEY IS
ONLY FOR THE BRAVEST."
Momolu gasps.
He asks, IS HE BRAVE ENOUGH?
IS HE?!
Huhu says, “YOU ARE THE BRAVEST BEAR
I'VE EVER MET!"
Momolu giggles.
Huhu says, SO FINALLY, THE QUEEN BEE FILLED
HIS HONEYPOT WITH HONEY.
THE END.
She bows.
Momolu says, I LOVE HAPPY ENDINGS.
Banni says, ESPECIALLY HAPPY ENDINGS THAT
ARE HONEY-BUNNY SWEET!
Huhu says, NOW IT'S TIME TO CAST
THE ACTORS!
NOONI...
Nooni says, YES!
Huhu says, YOU'LL BE THE QUEEN BEE.
A black bear wearing a bow tie pops up from a fake plant and waves.
Nooni says, YES!
A ROYAL QUEEN! HOW FUN!
She runs circles around her friends.
Huhu says, BANNI,
YOU'LL BE THE QUEEN'S GUARD.
Banni says, YES, SIR!
Huhu says, AND, THE BIG GRIZZLY BEAR,
THE STAR OF THE SHOW, IS...
Together, Nooni, Banni and Huhu say, MOMOLU!
Momolu gasps. He runs and hide behind the fake plant.
Nooni says, MOMOLU?
WHERE DID HE GO?
Banni says, HUHU, YOUR PLANT IT HAS FEET?
Momolu tries to walk away while hiding behind the plant. Huhu flies over to Momolu.
She says, YOU'RE SO SILLY, MOMOLU!
YOU'LL BE THE PERFECT
BIG GRIZZLY BEAR!
Momolu puts down the fake plant.
He says, I REALLY LIKE YOUR PLAY, HUHU.
BUT I CAN'T BE YOUR BIG,
BRAVE GRIZZLY BEAR.
Huhu gasps.
Momolu says, JUST THINKING ABOUT BEING
ON STAGE GIVES ME A TUMMY ACHE.
Nooni says, AWW...
She and Banni join their friend.
Banni says, MOMOLU!
Huhu says, HMM...
WELL, WHO ELSE CAN I GET
TO BE THE BIG, BRAVE GRIZZLY
BEAR?
Momolu says, WHAT ABOUT DJ BASS?
SHE'S ALREADY A BIG BEAR.
Huhu says, HMM, SHE'S OFF PERFORMING
AT KIKI'S BIG BIRTHDAY BASH.
THERE'S LOTS OF SINGING AND
DANCING OVER THERE.
She twirls and laughs. The friends giggle.
Huhu says, WOO HOO!
Banni says, WAIT, I HAVE
A BUNNY-BRILLIANT IDEA!
She holds a drawing of a bear’s face over Nooni’s.
Huhu says, OOH! THAT IS BUNNY-BRILLIANT!
Banni says, GREAT! I'LL MAKE YOU
THIS BEAR MASK!
Momolu says, AND I'LL HELP!
BANNI, BIG BEAR HELPER
AT YOUR BUNNY-BOO SERVICE!
Banni lists, WATER, BOWL, PAPER,
SCISSORS,
COLANDER, GLUE, AND PAINT!
The items appear on a table.
Momolu sings, SNIP, SNIP, SNIPPETY SNIP…
He splits strips of paper.
He sings, MIX IT WITH SOME GLUE.
Banni cuts thin strips of paper.
She sings, STIR IT 'ROUND AND
PLACE IT DOWN.
THAT'S WHAT WE'RE GONNA DO.
Momolu and Banni collect their pieces of paper in bowls.
Banni says, WE'LL MIX FLOUR AND WATER
TO MAKE A STICKY PASTE.
She sticks a strip from the mix of flour and water onto the colander. Some of the strips stick to Momolu’s hands. He giggles.
Banni says, THEN WE GLUE OUR PAPER STRIPS
TO THE COLANDER.
Momolu glues a strip to the colander. Banni grabs supplies from a chest.
She says, WHEN THE GLUE DRIES,
WE CAN PAINT OUR MASK!
THE MASK LOOKS GREAT!
WHAT DO YOU THINK, MOMOLU?
Momolu says, IT'S A MASTERPIECE!
BUT I THINK I GOT A LITTLE
TOO MESSY.
Banni giggles.
She says, HERE, TRY IT ON!
Momolu says, OOH!
Banni puts the mask on Momolu.
Momolu says, WHERE'S MY HONEY?
GRUMBLE, GROWL.
Banni giggles. Kimu waves from the door.
He says, HELLO! HUHU MADE SOME CHANGES
TO THE PLAY.
He holds up a script.
He asks, WHO'S YOUR FRIEND, BANNI?
Banni says, THAT'S JUST THE BIG BRAVE
GRIZZLY BEAR
FOR THE SHOW TONIGHT.
Momolu says, YEP. GRUMBLE, GROWL.
Kimu says, WOW! SEE YOU TONIGHT,
BIG GRIZZLY BEAR!
Banni giggles. Kimu leaves.
Banni says, KIMU DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS YOU!
Momolu says, I DO LOOK LIKE A GRIZZLY BEAR!
He looks in a mirror but frowns.
He says, WE'D BETTER GET THIS TO HUHU.
Momolu tries to take the mask off but can’t.
He says, OH NO.
IT'S STUCK!
Banni says, MAYBE IF WE JUST...
She hops on Momolu and grunts as she pulls on the mask. She slips and falls off.
She yells, WHOA!
She stands. Momolu grunts.
Banni says, OH NO, THE PASTE MUST HAVE
DRIED!
Momolu says, OH NO, OH NO, OH NO.
IF I TAKE THE MASK OFF,
IT'LL BREAK!
Banni gasps.
She says, MOMOLU, I THINK THIS MEANS...
Momolu says, I'LL HAVE TO BE IN
HUHU'S PLAY.
He frowns.
(Dramatic music plays)
Momolu says, MY TUMMY HURTS.
Banni says, YOUR TUMMY...
She looks thoughtful.
She says, …IT DIDN'T HURT WITH KIMU?
Momolu says, BECAUSE I WAS JUST PRETENDING.
Banni says, ACTING IS PRETENDING.
INSTEAD OF BEING A QUIET BUNNY,
I CAN BE...
She jumps in the chest.
She says, …A WILD LION!
Banni wears a lion mask.
She roars.
Momolu says, WHOA!
He ducks and hides below the table.
Banni says, IF YOU PRETEND TO BE
A BRAVE BEAR,
YOU'LL BECOME A BRAVE BEAR.
Momolu says, HMMM.
PRETEND TO BE A BRAVE
GRIZZLY BEAR.
BECOME A BRAVE PANDA BEAR.
He looks in a mirror and smiles. He looks back at Banni.
He says, OKAY! LET'S GO TELL HUHU!
Banni says, SHE'S GOING TO BE
SO SURPRISED!
Momolu stands behind a curtain on Huhu’s stage. Hiko, Kimu, bird friends and a turtle friend watch.
Momolu says, HMM, MY TUMMY HURTS.
He looks nervous. Banni wears a bee costume.
She says, MOMOLU, IT'S TIME.
Momolu takes a deep breath. The curtains open. Momolu lies on the stage between Huhu an a honeypot.
Huhu says, AFTER A LONG WINTER'S NAP,
THE BEAR WOKE UP
TO AN EMPTY HONEYPOT!
Momolu, as the bear, sits up and stretches his arms. He looks at the honeypot and gasps.
He says, NO HONEY?
GRUMBLE, GROWL.
He rubs his tummy.
Huhu says, THE GRIZZLY BEAR WAS SLEEPY...
Momolu balances on his head.
Huhu says, …SO HE WAS VERY CLUMSY.
Momolu falls on his side. The audience members laugh.
Momolu says, OH MY RUMBLY TUMMY,
I MUST FIND THE BEES AND
GET SOME HONEY!
Huhu says, IT WAS A LONG AND HARD
JOURNEY.
Banni dumps a box of leaves in front of two fans pointed at Momolu who carries the honeypot.
Huhu says, AND A BIT MESSY.
(Giggling)
Huhu says, FINALLY, HE FOUND
THE ROYAL QUEEN BEE.
Banni pushes Nooni onto the stage on a box. Both friends are dressed as bees. Nooni wears a crown.
Momolu says, YOUR HIGHNESS,
I FOUND YOU!
Nooni, as the Queen, asks, WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU?
Momolu says, WELL, YOU SEE.
I WOKE UP VERY HUNGRY
THIS MORNING
AND SAW THAT MY HONEY POT
WAS EMPTY.
He talks into the empty honeypot.
He says, OOOH.
NICE ECHO.
Nooni and Banni giggle. Momolu puts the honeypot over his head.
He says, SEE? TOTALLY EMPTY!
He tries to take the honeypot off his head.
He says, UH-OH.
(Giggling)
Momolu breaks the honeypot off his head, also breaking the bear mask off.
He says, PHEW.
The audience members gasp. Banni gasps.
Momolu says, UH...
He looks nervous.
Banni says, AWW.
She jumps to Momolu’s side.
She says, PRETEND TO BE A BRAVE BEAR.
Momolu says, BECOME A BRAVE PANDA BEAR.
As the bear, Momolu says, IT'S BEEN A LONG JOURNEY,
QUEEN BEE.
MAY I HAVE SOME HONEY?'
Nooni, as the Queen, says, THIS HONEY IS ONLY FOR
THE BRAVE
AND YOU HAVE PROVEN THAT
YOU ARE THE BRAVEST BEAR EVER!
Banni delivers a jar of honey.
Momolu says, OH, MY RUMBLY TUMMY
THANKS YOU!
The audience applauds. The birds chirp.
Kimu says, BRAVO!
Hiko says, ENCORE!
Huhu says, MOMOLU, YOU DID IT!
