[Playful music plays]

Animals cheer, YEAH! AH-HA!

[Laughing, chirping]

Text reads, “TVOkids Presents Momolu and Friends.” Momolu; Nooni; Banni; Huhu; Hiku, a black and white badger; and DJ Bass gather under the text.

Animals cheer, YAY!

A voice says, WHERE IS
MY MYSTERY?

[Upbeat music plays]

Hiko peers at grass through his magnifying glass. He approaches a table where Momolu, Nooni, and Banni sit on chairs. Kimu stands beside the table, stirring food in a bowl.

Hiko says, MM-HMM. MM-HMM.

Momolu asks, HAVE YOU LOST
SOMETHING, HIKO?

Hiko says, NO, AND THAT'S
JUST THE PROBLEM! I HAVEN'T
SOLVED ANY MYSTERIES FOR
DAYS AND DAYS NOW!

[Nooni giggles, rustling]

Nooni asks, CAN YOU HELP
ME WITH THIS PICTURE PUZZLE?
I THINK IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE
AN ANIMAL?

Hiko says, MM-HMM. THERE
YOU ARE.

Hiko connects dots with a pink pencil crayon and reveals a unicorn.

[Scratching]

Nooni exclaims, WHOA, IT
LOOKS AMAZING! YOU'RE
SO GOOD AT THIS!

Momolu says, I BET YOU CAN'T
SOLVE THIS ONE. I'VE BEEN
TRYING IT FOR DAYS!

Hiko solves a slide puzzle of a palm tree.

Hiko says, HMM, HMM.

[Tapping]

Momolu asks, WAS IT FUN AT ALL?

Hiko says, NO. TOO EASY.

Kimo says, GUESS WHAT
I MADE FOR DESSERT!

[Upbeat music plays]

Hilo says, WELL, WELL, WELL.
MASHED KIWI WITH
WHITE CHOCOLATE.

[Gasping]

Kimu asks, HOW DID YOU
KNOW THAT?!

Hiko says, IT'S SIMPLE, MY FRIEND.
THE STAINS ON THE APRON AND
THE SMELL OF THE CHOCOLATE.

THANKS FOR TRYING, BUT THERE
IS NO MYSTERY LEFT FOR ME
TO SOLVE.

[Gasp, upbeat music plays]

Momolu says, OH! I'VE GOT
AN IDEA! WHAT IF WE MAKE
A MYSTERY TO MAKE HIKO HAPPY?

[Rustling]

Nooni says, OH! OH! A
MYSTERY CREATURE!

Banni says, WHAT A GREAT IDEA!
I'LL DRAW IT! MM-HMM. UH-HUH.

[Hopping, scratching, happy music plays]

Nooni says, A UNICORN'S HEAD...

Banni asks, WHAT ABOUT THE BODY?

Momolu says, OUR TUMMIES
ARE ALL DIFFERENT SIZES...

Banni says, UH...

[Scratching]

Kimu says, LET'S MAKE IT SHINY.

Nooni says, WITH SEVEN LEGS!

[Scratching, rustling]

Momolu says, AND THREE EYES!

AWW! IT'S THE CUTEST MYSTERY
CREATURE I'VE EVER SEEN!

Kimu says, NOW, LET'S BUILD IT!

[Cheering]

Nooni, Kimu, and Momolu blow into balloons.

[Blowing]

Banni says, NOONI AND KIMU,
YOU CAN STOP NOW.
MOMOLU, KEEP GOING.
A LITTLE MORE, A LITTLE
MORE. STOP!

Momolu says,MAKING
A MYSTERY IS SO MUCH FUN.

Banni says, TAPE!

Nooni and Banni tape three balloons together.

[Tape rips, Nooni grunts]

Banni realizes her paw is taped to a balloon.

[Straining]

Banni calls, MOMOLU, HELP!

Momolu says, HUH?

Banni says, YEAH...

Momolu frees Banni and they high five.

[Momolu chuckles, paws slap]

Kimu says, PAPER.

[Splash]

kimu throws glitter on pink paper.

Kimu says, HA! TELL ME IF
WE NEED MORE GLITTER!

Banni says, IT LOOKS GREAT TO ME!

Kimu says, BETTER SAFE THAN
SORRY! HA-HA!

Kimu throws more glitter on the paper.

[Rattling]

Momolu steps in paint, then steps on paper.

Momolu says, ON, TWO,
THREE, FOUR...

[Chuckles]

Nooni says, FIVE, SIX...SEVEN!

Banni cheers, WOO HOO!

Nooni says, WE'RE DONE!

Nooni holds the unicorn balloon creation on a string.

Kimu says, I HAVE NEVER SEEN
ANYTHING LIKE THAT BEFORE!

Momolu ties the end of the string around Nooni’s waist.

Momolu asks, NOONI, ARE
YOU READY FOR THE TEST?

Nooni says, READY!

Nooni runs, pulling the creature behind her.

[Whooshing, laughs, upbeat music plays]

Momolu says, I HOPE HIKO
LIKES OUR MYSTERY!

Hiko moves a yellow checker on a board. He walks around to the other side of the board and moves a red checker.

Hiko says, OH... HMM...

Momolu says, HIKO! WE
NEED YOUR HELP!

Hiko asks, WHAT'S GOING ON?

Momolu says, WE DON'T
KNOW! IT'S A MYSTERY!

[Gasp]

Hiko says, A MYSTERY!
WHERE? WHERE?

Nooni hides behind a bush as the unicorn balloon creature floats on a hill.

[Nooni growls softly]

Hiko asks, WHAT IS THAT?!
IT'S SO MYSTERIOUS!

Hiko runs towards the creature.

[Panting, upbeat music plays]

Momolu says, HUH? HIKO!
STOP! WAIT FOR US!

[Panting, birds chirp]

Hiko says, IT HAS SEVEN PAWS!
IT MUST BE A NEW SPECIES!

Banni says, MAYBE IT'S DANGEROUS.
WE SHOULDN'T GET TOO CLOSE.

Nooni notices Hiko running towards her. She pulls the balloon creature away.

[Nooni gasps and grunts, giggles, pants]

Hiko says, YES. IT'S SHINY.
I WONDER IF IT HAS SCALES.
LIKE A FLYING FISH?!

Banni says, A FLYING FISH?!

Hiko says, IT COULD BE
ANYTHING! OH, THIS IS
SO EXCITING!

[Panting]

Nooni pulls the balloon creature across the sand dunes.

[Giggling]

Momolu, Banni, and Kimu run into each other as Hiko stops suddenly.

[Oomphing]

Hiko says, PERHAPS THE
CREATURE LIVES IN THE SAND.
A GIANT LOBSTER MAYBE?

Momolu says, LIKE YOU
SAID... IT COULD BE ANYTHING!

[Giggling, tense music plahys]

As Nooni runs past a tree, the string rips. She runs, leaving the balloon creature behind her.

[Rip, panting]

Momolu runs into Hiko’s back as Hiko stops.

[Grunting]

Hiko says, SHH. WE DON'T
WANT TO SCARE IT.

[Birds chirp]

Momolu says, MM-HMM.

As Hiko sneaks up behind the balloon creature, a black bear pops up from behind a bush and waves. The bear ducks back behind the bush.

Hiko says, AH-HA! THIS IS NOT
AN ANIMAL OR A CREATURE...
IT'S JUST BALLOONS, GLUE,
PAINT AND SPARKLES.

Momolu says, ARE YOU DISAPPOINTED?

Hiko asks, ARE YOU KIDDING? THIS
WAS A FUN MYSTERY TO SOLVE!

BUT WHAT'S THIS? HMM... BROKEN
ROPE.I WONDER WHERE THE OTHER
END IS.

Banni asks, SHOULD WE
TELL HIKO?

Momolu says uncertainly, UMM...

Hiko says, ANOTHER MYSTERY!
WOO HOO!

Momolu says, HIKO SURE LOVES
SOLVING MYSTERIES.

Hiko says, HMM.

Banni says, HE DOES LOOK
VERY HAPPY.

DID YOU FIND THE OTHER
END OF THE ROPE, HIKO?

Hiko says, NOT YET. BUT I FOUND
FOOTPRINTS IN THE FOREST.

AND THE SAME ONES ARE IN
THIS YARD! AND THEY SEEM
TO STOP HERE.

Nooni walks through a doorway, carrying food.

[Door slams, upbeat music plays]

Hiko says, OH WAIT. THEY KEEP GOING!

Nooni says, HI, HIKO! HOW ARE YOU?

Hiko says, I AM WONDERFUL, NOONI,
BECAUSE I HAVE SOLVED THE
SECOND MYSTERY!

[Dramatic music plays]

Nooni says, OH! YEAH, THAT.

Hiko says, YOU ALL MADE THE
CREATURE AND THESE MYSTERIES?

Banni says, WE THOUGHT YOU
WOULD LIKE IT.

Hiko says, I DID! I LOVED IT!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Hiko hugs Momolu, Kimu, Banni, and Nooni.

Hiko says, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE
WHAT MYSTERY YOU COME UP
WITH NEXT!

[Gasping]

[Joyful music plays]
