Momolu says, DONE!
Kimu says, WOW! A TELESCOPE IS A PERFECT
GIFT FOR HIKO'S BIRTHDAY!
Momolu says, NOW HE'LL BE ABLE TO LOOK
AT THE STARS IN THE NIGHT SKY.
LET'S HIDE IT SO WE CAN REALLY
SURPRISE HIM.
Huhu says, OOOH!
I CAN'T WAIT TO YELL
"SURPRISE"!
The animals cover the gift with leaves.
(Chuckling)
Kimu asks, BUT HOW WILL HIKO FIND IT?
A leaf falls behind two others in a line.
Momolu says, LET'S CREATE A PATH WITH
RED LEAVES!
(Upbeat music)
The animals leave a trail of leaves leading to the pile covering the gift. Momolu notices a nearby rock.
Momolu says, OH, THAT ROCK LOOKS
LIKE A BANANA!
(Stomach rumbling)
(Momolu giggles)
Momolu says, AND IT'S MAKING ME HUNGRY!
Kimu notices yellow roses on a bush and smells them.
Kimu says, MMMM. MY FAVOURITE...
Huhu notices a tree with a tall canopy.
Huhu says, OOH, IF IT RAINS, THIS
IS A GOOD TREE TO STAND UNDER!
The animals spread leaves leading to a trail near a yellow house with a green roof.
Momolu says, AH! NOW WE JUST NEED TO FIND
HIKO AND THEN WE CAN...
The leaves blow away from the animals. Pikkumo the cloud smiles in the sky.
Pikkumo says, HI! HI! HEY!
LOOK WHAT I CAN DO.
Pikkumo rolls in the sky.
(Wind blowing)
Pikkumo says, I CAN DO A ROLL IN THE AIR.
WHOOHOO! YAY!
Momolu, Huhu, and Kimu say, OH, NO!
HOW WILL WE FIND OUR PATH BACK
TO THE GIFT?
Pikkumo asks, WHAT HAPPENED?
Kimu says, WE MADE A TRAIL OF LEAVES SO
IT WOULD LEAD US RIGHT
TO HIKO'S GIFT.
BUT IT BLEW AWAY!
(Pikkumo gasps)
Pikkumo asks, DID I DO THAT?
OH NO! I'M SORRY!
Huhu says, OH, YOU DIDN'T KNOW, PIKKUMO.
THAT'S OKAY.
Kimu says, WE SHOULD HAVE USED SOMETHING
THAT COULDN'T FLY AWAY.
Momolu says, ROLY POLY PANDAS!
WE'LL JUST GO BACK TO THE HIDING
SPOT AND MAKE ANOTHER TRAIL.
MAYBE WITH ROCKS THIS TIME.
Huhu says, GOOD IDEA!
Pikkumo says, I WANT TO HELP!
I'LL LOOK FOR THE GIFT
UP HERE!
Kimu walks through the forest.
Kimu says, OH, NO! WHERE IS IT?!
Huhu flies through the forest.
Huhu says, OH, NO!
WHERE IS IT?
Momolu runs through the forest.
Momolu says, OH, NO!
WHERE IS IT?!
Kimu and Huhu approach Momolu.
Momoulu asks, DID YOU FIND IT?
Kimu and Huhu say, UH-UH.
Momolu says, HOW CAN WE GIVE HIKO THE GIFT
IF WE CAN'T FIND IT?
Pikkumo says, HOW CAN I HELP MY FRIENDS?
OOH! HIKO!
HE SOLVES MYSTERIES!
Pikkumo blows leaves onto Hiko’s house. He sits inside, reading a newspaper.
Hiko says, HUH?
WHAT IS GOING ON OUTSIDE?
Hiko looks out a round window and notices Momolu, Kimu, and Huhu.
Hiko says, OH, HOW NICE!
A VISIT FROM MY FRIENDS!
(Muttering)
Hiko exits his house.
Momolu, Kimu, and Huhu say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HIKO!
Hiko chuckles and says, THANK YOU!
DID YOU ALL COME HERE ESPECIALLY
FOR MY BIRTHDAY?
Pikkumo looks nervous.
Huhu says, AH... YES AND NO.
WE WANTED TO GIVE YOU
YOUR BIRTHDAY GIFT...
Hiko says, OH, THANK YOU!
IT'S ALWAYS EXCITING TO
RECEIVE A GIFT!
Kimu says, AND WE MADE A PATH OF RED
LEAVES SO YOU COULD FOLLOW IT
ALL THE WAY TO YOUR GIFT.
Pikkumo says, BUT I MADE TOO MUCH WIND.
Momolu says, AND THE LEAVES BLEW AWAY.
SO WE DON'T KNOW WHERE YOUR GIFT

The others say, HUH?

Momolu says, THERE WAS A GROUP OF TREES!
Hiko draws trees.
Huhu says, OH! OH ONE OF THE TREES WAS
SHAPED LIKE AN OPEN UMBRELLA!
IT WASN'T TOO FAR FROM
YOUR HOUSE.
Hiko draws an umbrella.
Kimu says, I SNIFFED
THE SWEETEST-SMELLING
YELLOW ROSES.
IT WAS HALFWAY TO WHERE
WE HID YOUR GIFT.
Hiko draws a rosebush.
Momolu says, THERE WAS A BANANA-SHAPED ROCK
ALMOST NEXT TO THE HIDING SPOT!
Hiko draws a banana and a gift.
Everyone says, YAY!
Hiko says, IF WE LOOK FOR THESE THINGS,
WE WILL FIND THE HIDING SPOT.
LET'S GO!
Pikkumo says, WAIT FOR ME!
The animals walk and fly through the forest.
Huhu says, OH! OH!
THE UMBRELLA-SHAPED TREE!
The animals approach the rose bush.
(Kimu sighs happily)
Kimu says, THESE ROSES SMELL
VERY SWEET!
(Everyone sighs happily)
(Light happy music)
Kimu approaches a round rock.
Kimu asks, IS THIS THE ROCK YOU
WERE TALKING ABOUT, MOMOLU?
Momolu says, MMM-MM.
Huhu asks, OH! THIS ONE, MAYBE?
Momolu says, MMM-MM.
Hiko approaches the banana-shaped rock.
Hiko asks, IS IT THIS ONE?
Momolu says, YES!
(Momolu’s stomach rumbles)
(Momolu giggles)
Momolu says, OOPS, STILL HUNGRY!
Hiko examines the pile of leaves.
Hiko says, HMMM, WHAT'S THIS PILE
OF RED LEAVES
DOING IN THE MIDDLE OF
THE FOREST?
Momolu says, THAT'S IT!
Huhu says, WE FOUND IT!
Momolu says, PIKKUMO, PLEASE BLOW
THE LEAVES!
Pikkumo blows the leaves off the gift.
(Blowing)
Hiko says, I LOVE IT!
Hiko looks at stars through the telescope. PIkkumo floats into view, looking tired.
(Hiko chuckles)
Hiko says, WITH THIS TELESCOPE
AND MY MAGNIFYING GLASS,
I HAVE EVERYTHING I NEED
TO FIND THINGS!
Huhu looks through the telescope.
(Hiko gasps)
Hiko searches the ground.
Momolu asks, WHAT'S WRONG?
Hiko says, I CAN'T FIND
MY MAGNIFYING GLASS.
I MUST HAVE DROPPED IT
SOMEWHERE.
Huhu says, WE'LL FIND IT!
WE JUST NEED TO MAKE A MAP!
Everyone says, YAY!
The animals cheer and go into Hiko’s house.
