Momolu says, MY TUMMY'S NEVER BEEN THIS
RUMBLY BEFORE, KIMU!

Animals sit at tables inside the cafe.

(Indistinct chatter)

Momolu says, WHOA! IT'S SO BUSY TODAY!

Kimu says, HI, MOMOLU! I'LL BE WITH YOU
IN JUST A MOMENT.
EVERYONE ORDERED ALL AT ONCE AND
I'M SCRAMBLING TO KEEP UP!

Momolu says, OH! LET ME HELP YOU!

Kimu says, YOU WOULDN'T MIND?

Momolu says, I'M ALWAYS HAPPY TO HELP!
PUT THESE PANDA PAWS TO WORK!

Kimu says, GREAT. FOLLOW ME!

Momolu follows Kimu into a kitchen.

Kimu says, WOULD YOU PLEASE WAIT TABLES
AND HELP MY CUSTOMERS?
FIRST UP! A LEMONY BASIL MUFFIN
FOR HIKO. IT'S HIS FAVORITE!

Momolu carries the muffin to Hiko, who sits at a table in front of a pink wall.

Momolu says, MMM. THIS LEMONY BASIL
MUFFIN SMELLS DELICIOUS!

Hiko says, IT IS DELICIOUS!
WOULD YOU CARE TO TRY SOME?

Momolu says, MM-HMM. OH, YES, PLEASE!
MY RUMBLY TUMMY COULDN'T
THANK YOU ENOUGH!

Hiko cuts the muffin in half.

Hiko says, NOW LET'S SEE IF WE CAN FIND
A FORK AND A PLATE FOR YOU.

Hiko takes a fork and plate off a table behind him. He turns around and half the muffin is gone.

(Eating noises)

Hiko says, HUH?

(Hiko chuckles)

Momolu smiles as he chews.

Hiko says, WELL, I GUESS WE DON'T NEED
AN EXTRA PLATE.

(Swallowing)

{Momolu giggles)

Momolu says, THAT WAS DEE-LICIOUS.
I CAN SEE WHY
IT'S YOUR FAVORITE!

Hiko says, ALWAYS HAPPY TO FIND SOMEONE
WHO CAN APPRECIATE
A WELL-MADE MUFFIN. HERE.
TAKE MY HALF AS WELL.

Momolu says, OH, I COULDN'T POSSIBLY!

Hiko says, NONSENSE!
I'LL ORDER ANOTHER ONE!

Momolu lobs the other half of the muffin into his mouth.

Momolu says, THANK YOU!

Kimu puts muffins onto a plate in the kitchen.

Kimu says, ORDER'S UP, MOMOLU!
MOMOLU? ORDER'S READY!

Momolu approaches Kimu.

Momolu says, KIMU'S CAFÉ HELPER
AT YOUR SERVICE!
WHAT CAN I, MOMOLU, DO FOR YOU?

Kimu says, PLEASE DELIVER THESE MUFFINS
TO BANNI AND NOONI,
WHILE I FINISH THE BATTER
FOR THE NEXT BATCH.

Momolu says, SURE THING, KIMU!
OH, UM, WE'RE GOING TO NEED
ANOTHER MUFFIN FOR HIKO.

Kimu says, REALLY? THAT WAS
HIS SECOND ONE ALREADY.

Momolu says, UM... I KINDA ATE IT.

(Momolu chuckles)

Momolu carries two muffins into the café.

Momolu says, DEE-LICIOUS!
BANNI? I WAS WONDERING
IF MAYBE...
DO YOU LIKE SHARING?
HOW HUNGRY ARE YOU?

Kimu approaches Momolu.

Kimu says, MOMOLU? MOMOLU!
WHY DON'T I DELIVER THESE
WHILE YOU FINISH THE
LEMONY-BASIL MUFFIN BATTER.

Momolu says, OH, THAT SOUNDS FUN, KIMU!
I'VE NEVER MADE BATTER BEFORE!

Kimu says, ALL IT NEEDS IS BASIL
FROM THE GARDEN.

Momolu says, RIGHT. BASIL FROM THE GARDEN.
FINISH EATING THE BATTER.
MAKING IT!
FINISH MAKING THE BATTER!
GOT IT.

Momolu walks through a garden beside the café.

Momolu says, WAIT. BASIL. OR BANANA? HMM.
KIMU? AM I LOOKING
FOR BANANAS OR BASIL?

Kimu says, BASIL! GREEN LEAVES
ON THE LEFT!

Momolu looks at the garden with confusion.

Momolu says, OH, GREEN, GREEN, GREEN.
HMM. OH, ON THE LEFT.
HA, UH-HUH.

Momolu picks leaves out of the garden, then washes them, dries them with a towel, and puts them into a red bowl. Momolu stirs them in the bowl.

Momolu says, ALL SET! WHAT'S NEXT?

Kimu says, THANK YOU SO MUCH, MOMOLU!

Kimu pours batter from the bowl into muffin pans.

(Kimu laughs)

Kimu says, NOW WE JUST HAVE TO POP THEM
INTO THE OVEN!

Kimu puts the pan into a wood-burning stove. Animals eat in the café.

Nooni says, DELISH!
YOUR BEST YET, KIMU!

Hiko says, SO UNEXPECTED!

Kimu says, "UNEXPECTED?"
DON'T THEY TASTE LIKE
MY LEMONY-BASIL MUFFINS
ALWAYS TASTE?

Momolu enters the café holding a muffin and with crumbs on his face. Kimu eats part of a muffin.

Kimu says, MMM, MMM.
SCRUMPTIOUS!
BUT... HMM? WHAT HERB IS IT?
MOMOLU? WHERE DID YOU GET
THE BASIL FROM?

Momolu and Kimu walk to the garden.

Momolu says, HMM, THERE. THE GREEN HERBS
OVER THERE.
OR... WAS IT OVER THERE?
NO, THERE. WAIT, MAYBE IT WAS...

Kimu says, MY GARDEN IS REALLY OVERGROWN!
ALL THE HERBS
HAVE GOTTEN MIXED UP.

Momolu says, IT'S NOT SUPPOSED
TO LOOK LIKE THAT?

Kimu says, NO. AND IT'S NO WONDER
YOU PICKED A DIFFERENT HERB.
EVEN I CAN'T SEE WHERE
THE BASIL IS.
WHAT'LL I DO?

Momolu says, HMM. OH! ROLY POLY PANDAS!
I KNOW HOW WE CAN GET
ALL YOUR HERBS ORGANIZED!
LET'S PUT THESE PANDA PAWS
TO WORK!

(Happy, light music)

Momolu puts a picture of an organized garden on the outside wall of the café. Kimu carries herbs to several planter boxes. A black bear waves.

Kimu says, EACH HERB GETS ITS OWN HOME.
THAT'S MINT. BASIL. CHIVE.
PARSLEY. ROSEMARY.

Kimu puts herbs into each planter box. Momolu waters the herbs.

Momolu says, A LITTLE SPRINKLE FOR YOU.
AND FOR YOU!
AND FOR YOU...
OH! YOU ARE SO THIRSTY!

Kimu paints signs with pictures of herbs on them.

Kimu says, LAST BUT NOT LEAST,
LET'S DECORATE THEM
SO WE KNOW EXACTLY
WHICH IS WHICH!

Kimu and Momolu put the signs into the planter boxes.

Kimu says, THANK YOU, MOMOLU!
THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER
THAN WHAT I HAD BEFORE!

Momolu says, HAPPY TO HELP!

Kimu says, AND NOW, IT'S TIME
TO FIGURE OUT WHAT
THAT MYSTERY HERB IS!

Momolu says, GREAT IDEA!
HOW ARE WE GOING TO DO THAT?

Kimu says, BY MAKING LOTS
AND LOTS OF MUFFINS!

Several colorful mixing bowls sit on the kitchen counter.

Momolu says, JUST LIKE YOU ASKED FOR, KIMU!
EVERY BOWL OF BATTER
IS EXACTLY THE SAME...

Kimu says, NOW TO ADD THE HERBS!
MINT. CHIVE. BASIL. ROSEMARY...

Kimu puts herbs into the bowls. Momolu stirs them.

(Momolu hums)

(Kimu sniffs bowls)

Kimu tastes batter.

Kimu says, NO. IT CAN'T BE. CAN IT?
I DON'T BELIEVE IT! BRILLIANT!!

Momolu says, WHAT IS IT, KIMU?

Kimu says, CHIVES!
LEMONY-CHIVE MUFFINS!
MOMOLU, I WOULD NEVER
HAVE THOUGHT TO PUT
LEMONS AND CHIVES TOGETHER!
IT'S INSPIRED!

Momolu says, I'M JUST HAPPY I COULD HELP.
AND SHARE YOUR DELICIOUS
MUFFINS.

Hiko says, KIMU!
MIGHT I POSSIBLY GET
ANOTHER MYSTERY MUFFIN?

Kimu says, OF COURSE, HIKO.

Nooni says, ME TOO, PLEASE, KIMU.

Banni says, OH, I'D LOVE ANOTHER
MYSTERY MUFFIN.

Kimu says, MORE MUFFINS FOR EVERYONE.

MOMOLU MUFFINS.
